The best Kung Pao Chicken in Western Europe.

I'd seen some bad reviews on Xiaohongshu before and never tried it, but after coming here, every dish I ordered was a hit. The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the dishes we ordered tasted exceptionally good. The service was also good. I'll definitely come again.

At the edge of Den Haag's Chinatown, this restaurant specializes in NorthEast cuisine. I, however, have my favorite Sichuan fish or beef hotpot with chili oil. Totally hits the spot on a winter afternoon 👌

Very delicious and nice portions

Very delicious, with the aroma of the wok, hot and steaming hot stir-fried dishes, the kind that are really stir-fried over high heat. You will never forget it after taking a bite. It is perfect. I highly recommend it. If you can't finish it, you can take it away. As shown in the picture, two people didn't finish the two dishes. We heated them up at home and had another big meal. Haha,

The beef noodles were hard. The cold noodles were soft and clumpy. What a waste of 29 yuan.

Quality price ratio was not satisfactory for us. We ordered cold noodles and cold noodle soup. The price was 14,50 per dish but the contents and the quality was not on par at all. We will not come back as the men taking orders was very annoyed when I asked him if they have received the order (by QR code scan)

Sweet and sour pork is delicious!

Good restaurant with a good food. No nonsense fancy decor. Just what you expect from a good chinese restaurant: good food, with a simple decor! Just a note: all the food that I ordered has a slightly sour tone. May not be for everyone, but if you like something sour or refreshing, then it's a must try.

Saw this as people recommended Easy to order via phone and QR code on the table. So we went there to eat good food. Pork and Steak were very good but unfortunately the Kung Pao was too sweet. Very sugary sweet taste. I have eaten better and tastier Kung Pao. It's not good to charge 7.5 Euro for a bottle of water. Change supplier and lower the price. 2 of our 3 dishes were super good. So this raised the rating. But now we only tasted 4 dishes. So I can only judge by them. But if I come back to The Hague, it will be this place again, then maybe everything will be raised a notch or two.

Less than 20 yuan per person, boiled fish that is enough to fill you up, what else do you want? It's really delicious. I brought a few friends here and everyone was very satisfied. The boiled fish with pickled fish is very large and delicious, and the service attitude is also very good. I really recommend it

Just ate here yesterday, my wife comes form Beijing and it did felt as there.... I was only missing some local friendlyness and some extra attention to the condiments. to serve with it. The quality of the food was amazing! 早上好 (zao shang hao) with 分批 (Fenpi) was really good! the skewers are nice, but could be more meaty like they are in 中国. The dumplings however where really good! I do hope also to see some more Bao Du like in the Hutongs! overall supburb place wished there were more places like this :)!

Lovely real authentic restaurant to eat. Large portions for the food you get. Lots of varied food to choose from that can be conveniently scanned with the QR code. Something for everyone vegetables, meat, noodles, dessert etc. Furthermore also fast service and no waiting times! I would say next time again ;)

The food is delicious, large portions, the bubble tea here is also the tastiest I've had so far.

Ordered wonton soup and dry pot cabbage The dry pan was a bit oily, so I couldn’t finish the meal in the end. The wonton soup filling is quite salty, but overall it tastes pretty good.

We ate here yesterday. Everything was nice but like my previous experience in a Chinese restaurant the food was salty and fatty! Maybe they like it salty and oily but it was not my favourite and was not healthy as well. The food was so beautiful and colourful with a lot of nutritious ingredients but salty for me so I couldn’t eat that much. The atmosphere was clean and peaceful.

In my opinion the best restaurant in the entire Netherlands!! Great authentic North Eastern Food, and huge portions. They do not charge extra for rice, which a lot of other restaurants do in the Netherlands!! Overall if I had the possibility I would come back here every single week, totally worth it and if I was you I would go immediately, especially because you’re still reading this review, so u anyways already want to go, so just go now!! Why hasn't it closed yet? I ate the Guobao Pork once and it was so sour that I couldn't leave my mouth. When I asked, I was told that 80% vinegar essence was used. I asked them to eat a piece by themselves and insisted that it was okay, but they took one bite and threw it away. In the end it was nothing, and I haven’t been there since.

Excellent lunch! Steamed sea bass, sweet and sour chicken and chicken satay. With fresh jasmine tea. Located at the end of Wagenstraat. Recommended.

Won’t order here any more. On Uber eats, it has a different experience: no rice was provided while the dish is very salty. Thus the order is not consumable. If you go to the store, they have the rice bundled actually. When I reached the owner, they said Uber made all the money so no rice was given. Why was the consumer punished for their negotiations with Uber? That’s simply not a good practice for a Chinese food business.

The dishes do not taste good,actually quite bad. It is not authentic, most of dishes are too sweet.

The first dish was amazing, crispy from the sugar but spicy and nicely balanced. The sour pork wasn't my thing. Very crispy and nicely prepared though. The rice and beef were great too. Everything was a bit oily though.

A place with good food and nice prices. The restaurant was cozy, not too bright and the homemade dumplings were amazing. The meat was flavourful and the dumpling skin was perfect consistency. (Seeing how workers make dumplings 3 tables from us was a cute and interesting experience, loved it) 水煮牛肉 had a nice taste and for the price, that’s perfect. The service was nice, workers gave us some recommendations for the menu and it was welcoming.

Super delicious meal at Chinatown The Hague 😍😍😍

We come here almost every 2nd weekend to eat since 4-5 months ago. One of our Chinese friend recommended the restaurant. It was a good sign from the beginning, that more than half of the customers are Asian. The food is tasty and generously portioned, specially for the low price. For 2 adults and one children usually we pay around 50-55 €. Maybe it's not a restaurant with white crispy ironed aprons on the table, and the waiter doesn't wear bow tie. .. But they very welcoming and helpful ,the restaurant is clean. Usually we order the vegetarian noodles soup and the crispy sweet and sour pork . Always taste same good. We tried other dishes, they were tasty also. Highly recommended

Super delicious Northeastern food. The crispy pork is the old-fashioned way that I like. Dried pepper tofu tastes good. The braised pork is also relatively tender. The best thing is the unlimited refills of rice, hahaha.

Real authentic Chinese food!! Delicious dishes from Northern Chinese cuisine. The Kimchi was delicious, the sea bass nice and spicy. No fancy decor and unnecessary luxury, but fantastic food and super friendly service.

It's great to be able to eat such good Northeastern cuisine in the Netherlands! Really great dishes, owner is very nice and has good recommendations. You really should try this place if you haven't been yet.

Two stars are given to the spicy mix, and the remaining three stars are not given. I want to ask if there are only three meatballs in the spicy mix? There are 12 pieces in a bag of Super League 5 Euros, which can make four bowls. What a good business! Apart from that, there is no meat at all, and the rest is just potatoes and cabbage. This is even better business. What we are saying is that a good deal is not a good deal at all. Add some meat to avoid opening or closing...

Three people ate and got diarrhea that night. I also had it the next morning. I didn't know how to eat it before, so why did it suddenly happen this time?

Authentic food from the Northern province of China. They serve good portion, and it's really delicious. Located right at the corner, so easy to find.

We ordered a hot pot here and most of the things in it weren’t cooked enough and very oily. None of the staff spoke English and they didnt seem interested in making an effort to help understand some of the dishes. I left my pot almost untouched and they didn’t even care to ask what’s the problem. However my partner ordered fried green beans with eggplant and they were good.

点的是饺子和炒空心菜，饺子端上来后不是特别的热，没有热气腾腾的样子，馅是温温的，味道还行4.2分，空心菜炒的不错，4.5分，环境啥的也还可以，总体4.3分

Heerlijk gegeten. Restaurant bevindt zich bij mij op de hoek. Authentieke Noord Chinese gerechten. Vriendelijk personeel, eigenlijk mijn buren. Kom zeker weer, aanrader! 01:10:2023: Zondag middag met goede vriendin (op leeftijd zeker) gegeten. Was heerlijk, had zelf paddenstoelen, gek op. Chinese thee was voldoende. Niet te duur, voldoende en top. Komen zeker terug.

Service is great but food is really not that authentic so I was a bit disappointed since there were so many who said food is authentic. The guo bao pork, which is like a northeastern chinese classic, was made more like a southern chinese gu lao pork way. Guo bao rou should not be so orange and hard. We had a hard time chewing it and it doesn't taste as vinegary as it should. Atmosphere is authentic tho.

The food was really good, although they forgot our main dish, but that got solved. Minus point... the place wasn't too clean.

Large selection of authentic dishes. Most if not all dishes I ordered are very tasty, and the portions are generous. However, service can be a bit hit or miss even as a Chinese. Sometimes you do not feel welcome there, especially from one server in particular. But would go again just for the food alone.

Small restaurant with good Asian food. Nice location. Paid parking nearby.

First time we tried this restaurant. It is a nice change from the other good options in the neighborhood. They have items on the menu that you don't see in other restaurants. What surprised me was the well documented allergens in the menu. Price is above average. Don't trust the pictures in the menu because the dishes don't always look like the pictures you saw. We're glad we tried it out.

Menu is quite exotic and filled with many traditional Chinese dishes which aren't for me personally. The selection of vegetarian options is good and the variety of meats outstanding. Presentation is nice as is the flavor profile. But my beef meat skewers were overcooked and the beef Stir fry had relatively gooey beef and relatively raw vegetables.

Bediening prima, eten was smakelijk. Grote porties dus pas op dat je niet veel bestelt als je bijv. met 2 personen eet. Reserveren gewenst ivm drukte. Prijzen menu: normaal acceptabel.

Quite authentic chinse dishes which makes me feel like home dishes. Will definitely come back again when am in town Hague.

味道一般 不过分量蛮大的 扣两星的原因是问我们点什么饮料 我们说不用饮料 然后脸色特别难看

不要轻易尝试那个肥肠还是大肠，会变得不幸，一整天都特别想吐，其他两个菜还不错吧，但因为那个肠我真的……想呕吐一整天，我就吃了一小口，一盘菜就那么废了，从来没吃过味道那么重的……真的让我这辈子都不敢轻易尝试肠类了

If you want to try some authentic Chinese food I highly recommend Da Dong Bei. Try those sour chicken, spicy hotpot and they grilled meat

Great place to eat Dong Bei food! I really like to try new stuff and this new restaurant has their northern east cooking style but It blew me away. You usually order a couple of dishes to share but all of them were super tasty dishes TIP: Order their big fish dish it comes in a big royalty plate which is instagram worthy! you won't be disappointed when you eat this dish (it's quite big so better eat this with 4 persons) Update 2: 2nd time we came here the food was okay. I would give the second we came here was a 4 star we ordered the spicy lamb, beef and the tofu skin. Portion wise it was definitely enough! so if you want to eat good food just come to this place! there are so many Chinese restaurants to choose from but this one doesn't disappoint. Update 3: came here a 3rd time and this time the food was quick! The portions are good as well :-) i've added some new photos we ordered Glass noodles, Tomato beef stew (which is more of a soup which is very nice and warming during cold days), Chicken stew and the fried pork with sauce. However there are some pointers for the restaurant...the Tomato soup was a bit on the sweet side (i know tomatoes are sweet so that's probably naturally sweet but maybe control how many tomatoes you put into the soup?) otherwise it's like a sugar bomb... Also the Chicken stew didn't had a lot of taste (could have had a bit more salt in it) Nevertheless i still think this is worth 4 stars because the people that work there are fast and nice.
