Peach Garden in Wijk 17 Loosduinen

We have ordered from Happy Garden in Krayenstein several times now at this address via Thuisbezorgd. Yesterday the food was again delicious, piping hot and delicious and exactly on time as agreed. 👍

Nice restaurant, friendly service, excellent menu and quality

Not just the food. But the other two people in the whole restaurant were sick, and the free prawn crackers were a bit overcooked, which was a shame.

I was here got very little for a lot of money

The prices are just too high. No wonder that after a while no one comes anymore.

Customer friendly has gone downhill with these new owners, also the quality of the food is much less, always 10 cents extra even if you don't want a plastic bag. Not been to the restaurant yet.

I'm 69 and have been eating Chinese for 67 years, but it's as disgusting as here. Orders arrived way too early and the food really made no sense. Satay only dipped in the sauce. Cremated babi pangang oily cold spring roll. Nasi without taste, it's incomprehensible how you achieve this. Never come here again.

I indicated that I wanted noodles with chicken satay... then received the wrong food... and when I called, I couldn't take anything with me. I don't like chicken on the bone so I have to throw away half of my food..... plus the food wasn't really tasty. Do not recommend this restaurant. The Peach Garden restaurant from the past was always delicious!

Very good tasty food Good and friendly staff

Been coming here for years and normally the food here was always super good! Unfortunately the food has deteriorated considerably! Always thought this was the best Chinese! They have also adjusted the menus, normally you can always choose what you want from your daily menus, but that is no longer the case and you get much less than before. First you got something like 4 to 6 containers of food and now only 3 of which 2 dishes are in 1 container. The satay sauce was also very watery and therefore hardly tasted like peanut sauce. In addition, my noodles were burnt and the tip pan tjap was very tough instead of tender..... Peach garden was so much better than happy garden, you really notice that there is a new owner. Unfortunately I won't be getting food here again

That story about an elastic in the food can happen. A bad review can destroy a restaurant. That doesn't seem useful to me. People work hard here to please their guests. The food here is very tasty and you can enjoy it in peace and quiet. Definitely recommended! Enough parking behind the restaurant.

Hostesses Ali and Sissi will help you in their own personal way through the large selection of dishes. The chef has over 35-40 years of cooking experience and is fully committed to preparing and serving the dishes in an authentic way. Happy Garden moved into the restaurant of the former owner (Mrs Yip) in the months of May/June 2024 and had some teething problems, but they have all been resolved. The restaurant has been given a new and fresh look inside and is a pleasant place to stay. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese, Thai and Indian dishes that are served to you in very large quantities. The personal attention is special and very pleasant.

Good local Chinese restaurant, all food is fresh, well prepared. Staff friendly and helpful. I had a tipan dish with duck. Never seen anywhere before. Recommended! (Especially with hoisin sauce)

Empty restaurant, poor Dutch or English speaking service. Food bad. Salmon, for example, has gone crazy. Compared to peach garden, only the price has skyrocketed

Ordered via home delivery, really hot and delicious food for a reasonable price. After a forgotten drink, the delivery person delivered it within 10 minutes. Until next time!!

I went to the takeaway. It was very busy and indeed it was very tasty and fresh. There is now a new owner, it has become slightly more expensive, but the food remains good.

A very good and cozy restaurant with a well-known name of the Forellendaal. Very nice service by the new owner Ali and it tasted delicious. So highly recommended.

We had dinner here with a large group of 15 people (+2 children) for a birthday. We made a reservation in advance and arranged for starters and main courses to be served. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and good with a lot of attention to the guests. In our opinion, the serving could have been a little smoother, but that may be due to the group size. All in all, we had a great time and will definitely come back.

Yahoeee... I'm very happy again. Happy Garden is back, smaller and no longer a wok, but the same menu as the old one from the Wong family from Kraaienstein. The employee and friend now rules there and I saw another acquaintance there. And the food was perfect again, I ordered Tongue with tausi sauce and nasi and it tasted like old times. Great, I kinda missed their food. I picked up but they also deliver and I will definitely eat in the restaurant. They have been here since mid-July. You can find them on the Hildo Kroplaan ;) (former Peach Garden)

Tried takeout twice now, the first time a typical dish with a mix of meat that was all exceptionally tough, the second time bami djawa and that was also tough and not tasty. A very extensive menu, expensive and disappointing quality.

The fried rice was too wet, the food was extremely bland. What happened to the use of spices. All in all a far below experience. I long back to Peach Garden restaurant that was at this location until a few month ago. I will not return to this place.

New owner with new name. Ordered Foe Yong Hai. No red sauce but watery stuff. Not tasty! Shameful!

Formerly another restaurant. Now new owner and new name I've gotten food twice now and I don't think it's good. Large pieces of vegetables and tasteless. It looks like the cook doesn't feel like cooking anymore. Sorry, but I won't be there anymore.

Nice to finally have the old Happy Garden from Kraayenstein back... The staff has remained the same, so the flavors are as usual... Too bad there are no woks and grills anymore, but you can also eat from the menu on site... But Happy Garden remains the best Chinese... (But tastes differ)👍🏻👍🏻

We have been getting our food here for years, normally we don't complain, but tonight I picked up food. Once home, my son ate a satay, it contained a rubber band that was dark colored by the peanut sauce and he almost choked on it. When I called, I had to return the rubber band so that they could look and discuss what they could do and in the end they wanted to give us a new satay which I did not agree to because I threw everything away!! After years of being here, I will never go back, apparently the move didn't go well for them

Had a meal here tonight. Upon entering it smelled like sewerage or a grease trap. Premonition was not right but ordered anyway, feeling can be wrong. But man, this was so bad. Dried out tough chicken, vegetable noodles, everything tasted flat and just not tasty. Fortunately there was a cup of sambal, which added some flavor, but this also tasted more like tomato than sambal. With a pain in the stomach, almost €18 poorer. I will never go here again! Peach Garden was so much better than this new owner Happy Garden. Bah.

If you are looking for a Chinese specialty restaurant, Peach Garden is the right place for you. We chose the Sichuen menu! Perfectly slightly spicy, just the way we like it. A delicious soup as a starter, the vegetables were not cooked too soft, very fresh. Four different dishes and each dish very tasty and beautifully presented. The hospitality of Mrs. Yip was so sweet and warm. We would love to come back, my son and I.

A truly great Chinese restaurant. Classic interior with sufficient authentic elements (beautiful vases, decorated partitions between the tables, a large aquarium, a slot machine in a corner near the cash register), with an accompanying atmosphere. Eating on site is definitely worth it: the Peach Garden rice table was exquisite. The service was very attentive and extremely friendly. It doesn't get any better than this if you're a fan of the classic Chin.Ind.Spec.Rest.

Wij kozen voor het menu Sichuen! Perfect ietsje pittig, zoals wij het graag hebben. Een heerlijke soep vooraf, de groente was niet te zacht gekookt, heel vers. Vier verschillende gerechten en elk gerecht zeer smaakvol en mooi gepresenteerd. Zo lief en hartelijk ook de gastvrijheid van mevrouw Yip. We komen heel graag terug, mijn zoon en ik!

An absolutely wonderful restaurant. I dare say, one of the best in The Hague. If we are in the area we don't miss it.

Toch maar eens een nieuwe chinees proberen . Babi pangang spek besteld en deze was zeer knapperig en vers. Mijn schoonmoeder vond het eten goed en zeer smakelijk. Ik nam een babi pangang Peach Garden , wat was dat heerlijk echt een aanrader. De dames van Peach Garden tot de volgende keer.

Het eten bij Peach Garden is uitstekend en wordt gastvrij door mevrouw Yip en collega's verzorgd. Misschien iets aan de dure kant, maar de hoeveelheid eten is zodanig dat er altijd wel wat mee gaat.

Restaurant not very busy on the day of our visit, we ordered a Thai assortment for 3, really original and delicious. If you are looking for an Asian restaurant in The Hague, don't hesitate!

The food was delicious, it's a pity that there were 2 old ladies sitting next to us who were coughing and blowing their noses! Then please stay home. Food brought and paid for. Appetite gone🤬

Gisteren uit gemakzucht bak nasi met sate gehaald. Vanuit de auto telefonisch besteld. Kwam na 10 minuten en het stond klaar. Geholpen door zeer lieve nette dame. Thuisgekomen bleek mijn bestelling completer dan verwacht! Op de nasi lagen plakken ham, kipfilet, ei. Verse knapperige groenten in de nasi. Ik kreeg er ook kroepoek en atjar bij. De kipfilet bestond uit grote stukken malse kip en heerlijk volle zoetige pindasaus. Aanrader! Heb echt zitten smullen.

The most unseasoned, dry, "Dutch style" Chinese food I've ever had. Insanely large portions which I doubt are even made fresh due to how dry the noodles or rice is. Noodles are white from how unseasoned and sauceless they are. The chicken is questionable, also flavourless and I think it's boiled instead of stir fried. When I order Chinese food I expect a dish full of color and flavour, not as white and plain as the Dutch population. A disgrace to Chinese food, the people who work there are lovely and I'm sure they're just trying to accommodate for the Dutch pallette.

Haal regelmatig eten voor ons thuis. Altijd goed! Personeel is vriendelijk en het eten is smakelijk. Porties zijn overigens ruim

Een restaurant waar we al jaren komen, maar mevrouw Yip willen niet meer missen,altijd vriendelijk! En de maaltijden zijn super! We komen snel weer.
