Best sweet and sour chicken ever! They have a lot of tasty options, but that one was a welcome surprise. Friendly and helpful staff have made this restaurant a go-to option for us.

Best Chinese food I’ve tried in the Netherlands!!!

The beef soup with hand cut noodles were the best! You an really taste that the are handmade. We also had the gyozas that were reallly goood. The family that owns it is very polite and helpful:) Overall authentic food and good service

The food was not good, I ordered beef tendon which smelled bad, the chicken wings were salty and tasted terrible. The buns and some kind of cake I don't remember were oily. I ordered a take away box but was charged for 2. The bags were also charged separately, total 0.7 euros for only one bag and one box. The meat skewers were very small. I rate it expensive

Delicious authentic Chinese family restaurant, dishes are tasty and large portions.

The food was awful, the portion was small, it was either too sweet or too sour, and they deliberately took advantage of us because we were from out of town and charged us 8 yuan more. This is simply unacceptable!!!

We were warmly welcomed, which was a promising start. Unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing. The dishes were coarse in structure and not always balanced. The noodles with tomato, garlic and coriander were still tasty, but the fried pork had too thick, soggy a dough layer. In the dish with garter, the cumin was too dominant, which pushed the other flavours into the background. The sanitary facilities also left much to be desired: there was little toilet paper, it was messy, the soap dispenser was missing and the tap hardly gave any water. Finally, it was difficult to find someone to settle the bill at the end of the evening.

Nice restaurant, the noodle and dumplings are very good.they have so many flavor in dumplings I will come here again to try other flavors.

Vegetarian steamed dumplings were surprisingly tasty and flavourful! Aubergine dish was sadly overly sweet and lacking any depth of flavour.

Authentic Northeastern cuisine. I come back every few months to savor the stewed chicken with mushrooms, the giant Northeastern dumplings, and the hustle and bustle of The Hague's Chinatown. The kebabs are delicious, but the portions are huge, so it's best to order smaller portions. This restaurant has been in Chinatown for years, right at the entrance. It's a good place, simple in decor, but the food is delicious and good for your stomach.

No pude encontrar el restaurante al que fui en de pijp alrededor de Amsterdam. En realidad fui al restaurante dos veces. La primera vez que fuimos, tuvimos un poco de albóndigas al vapor y fritas en sartén que eran excelentes. También tuvimos la carne salteando fideos fritos, que era excelente. El cerdo rallado con salsa de ajo era un poco demasiado dulce. Mi versión de esposa es mejor. Cuando volvimos dos días después tuvimos la misma carne de res salteando fideos fritos que era excelente de nuevo. La sopa de fideos de carne estaba bien, nada especial. La versión de mi esposa es mejor de nuevo. El arroz cocido con yung chow no tenía el wok hei como los fideos. Volvería si alguna vez estuviera de vuelta en este país (aunque lo dudo). Si quieres unas albóndigas frescas caseras, este es el lugar.

We had the baked duck. We expected to have some sauce with it, but it's our fault for not realizing that this type of duck just comes plain. It was good, but we did feel like it was missing some more flavor. The 1 plate + rice was more than enough for 2 people.

I visited here a few months ago and it was a decent experience. I'm planning to try the grilled fish again soon.

As a Northeasterner, I think the pimple soup, sweet and sour pork, and large rice noodles are quite good.

The little boy in the restaurant was very friendly. The food was served quickly and was delicious! The service was excellent. I'll definitely be back next time.

Vegetarians can ask about possibly modifying a dish to be vegetarian. North east cold noodle salad is a full size serving, sweet and sour and tahini, chewy, and can be freely amended with table sauces. Vegetarian dumpling filling has more than 4 ingredients and are solidly filled.

Ended up here because wong kee and fat kee are closed. Not a worthy alternative. I don't expect top service at this type of business, but service in sweatpants goes too far for me. Cook has smoked 2 cigarettes in half an hour, which means he has to go through the shop smelling cigarettes.

The service is extremely busy during meal time. It takes one minute to order, forty minutes to wait for the meal, and ten minutes to eat. The dumplings we ordered were stuffed with chicken and mushrooms. They were served with pork and cabbage. We passed away in a vague manner. The reason was that our table ordered dumplings at that time. Maybe we got the wrong ones? Then some brought our dishes to other tables, and some brought other tables’ dishes to us. The chicken stewed with mushrooms in the dish I ordered was delicious, but the portion was small and not as generous as the restaurants in Northeast China. The dumplings taste average and the skin is not tough. The fried shrimps are so soft that I don’t recommend them. Boiled beef is okay, but after all, the Sichuan cuisine in Northeastern restaurants is just that. I feel like I might consider focusing on Northeastern cuisine. I went there with great expectations for the Mid-Autumn Festival, but came back disappointed.

Steamed dumplings were great but everything else seemed to lack some authenticity as northeastern chinese food. The spicy and sour soup lacked spicy and sour, the noodle soup was bland, the fragrant stirfried chicken lacked some fragrance and was slightly too sweet :(

The food tastes good, but why do I keep getting the wrong dishes lately? The dishes that are not available are changed without any communication in advance and regardless of whether the customer eats them or not? ? ?

I ordered kkoobaroo and dosakmyeon. The dosakmyeon was delicious enough, but I was satisfied with the one-time experience, and the kkoobaroo was a menu item that would be good to order every time.

Very tasty food. The Kung Pao chicken and tofu with pork were both particularly good. Dumplings were also memorable. I will be dining here again.

We have three dishes. I highly recommend the beef with garlic stems. The water spinach with garlic sauce lacked flavour. The Kung Pao Chicken dish was okay, but the service was excellent! I will definitely return to try other dishes. dishes when I'm in Den Haag.

We ordered the ribs dish which was very tasty until we found a big hair in our food. The dish was replaced (probably hair removed and preheated) but we haven’t been compensated in any way. gyoza was handmade and tasty, however please note if you are sharing and not eating all the filling you have ordered it is hard to recognise.

Dosakmyeon was crazy chewy. The broth itself is non-spicy, like a beef noodle base, so it's easy to drink, but for those who like spicy food, adding chili oil makes it a perfect hangover. I usually eat pig ears with cold vegetables, so I ordered them with that in mind, but they were stir-fried in oyster sauce, so I was 70% satisfied. If you order mapo tofu, it comes with rice, which is about 3.5 times the amount of rice in Korea. Mapo tofu is also delicious. For some reason, I ordered chicken instead of pork, but the degree of frying and the taste of the sauce were so delicious that I will definitely order pork next time. Although it wasn't in the picture, the lamb skewers taste like the Chinese style lamb skewers eaten in Korea dipped in tzuran. The meat was tender and delicious. The food was so delicious that I couldn't help but drink, but it was very disappointing that there was no kkoryangju and no corkage. (It looks so delicious that I started eating it as if I was fascinated as soon as it came out, so I quickly noticed it and took a picture while eating it)

The food is fine, sometimes better than others. That's where it ends. If you're going to eat in the restaurant and don't mind getting in and out quickly in an atmospheric food canteen, that's fine. But don't make the mistake of ordering here. Firstly, it has happened more than once that what I ordered turned out to be out of stock... after an hour of waiting. The promised delivery time is absolutely incorrect and takes up to two hours. Ordered today at half past eight with a promised delivery time of 40 to 65 minutes. After paying (always after paying, go figure) I receive a confirmation of 100 minutes. Not that, as usual and in confirmation, they then call to discuss it properly. Called. Had to cancel myself. That's not possible. Called again. They would cancel and call me back. Didn't happen. Three quarters of an hour later I receive an automatic message stating that it has been cancelled. That's an hour and fifteen minutes after ordering and 45 minutes after I was supposed to be called back! If you don't mind this hassle of not eating until half past nine in the evening or not getting any food at all at the end of the ride, this is the place for you! However, I will never come here again. When taking orders is so problematic, you just have to stop. Now let's see if I can get my money back and still figure out what to eat.

We found the place through Google reviews, and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and the food was soooo delicious. We ordered vegetable gyozas, two types of rice and chicken with mushrooms. Everything was freshly made, tasty and the portions were large. We had food left over and we took it with us for the next day.

Shabby place (typical for a Chinese restaurant in The Hague) with great food and friendly service. We've tried a couple of dishes: squid skewers, fishballs soup, kangkong and siu kau dumplings and everything was of a great taste. Run by a family and the food is authentic (confirmed by a Chinese friend)

From the outside, this eatery looks approachable and authentically Chinese, and that became apparent after our visit. The North East beef dish pictured on the menu list did not match what we received. We got the beef dish with snow peas, which was not tasty. It is not clear now whether we received a dish adapted to Dutch taste or the beef dish prepared in an authentic Northeast Chinese way. It was delicious and we will come back! Wim Stal, The Hague

The taste of the grilled fish is average. The grilled fish is obviously not fresh. You can taste the dried texture and it is not tasty at all. Not only the grilled fish, the taste of all the dishes is only in the vegetable juice, but the dishes have no taste. It feels like it has been cooked in advance and then stir-fried and heated.

After a good review by Mara Grimm in Het Parool about the branch in Amsterdam, we decided to go here. Delicious food, friendly service. The pork and sauerkraut dumplings are really good. The dumplings and bao's are made fresh in the shop, absolutely worth ordering!

The food is good, nice flavors, especially the vegetable dishes. However I find the prices, compared to the size of the portion, a bit too much: a plate of crushed cucumber, that was just that with seasoning and coriander, was 12 euros.

Heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijke mensen. Had als lunch een simpel Chinees gerecht gevraagd met een potje thee. Was zeer aangenaam verrast met wat ik at. Kan deze zaak echt aanraden.

Na 4 jaar woonachtig geweest te zijn in Harbin, hfd stad van de meest Noord Oostelijke Chinese provincie Heilongjiang is dit eethuisje een ware toevoeging aan het Haagse horeca aambod. Authentieke gerechten, prima service en geen bizar absurde prijzen. Een aanrader!

Price on the menu is not same as the bill, each rice dish charging 2 more euros. 店家親切但不太誠實，菜單上的叉燒飯為€11和蝦仁炒飯為€13.5，但結帳時這兩道餐點都個別多了€2，老闆說他們不知道，最終還是付了比較貴的價格。 餐點份量很大方，味道普通可以，但希望店家不再使菜單和結帳價格不一樣。

Was alleen, dus dan moet je keuzes maken qua gerechten die je wil in een restaurant als deze, dus helaas niet voor de dumplings gegaan, maar wel voor de beef noodles en de crispy intestines, die saus en kruiden van de laatste waren echt superlekker! Jaren terug ook wel eens hier geweest en was toen ook top.

Heerlijk gegeten. Lijkt een eenvoudig lokaal, maar het eten is authentiek en lekker en ook nog eens betaalbaar.Aanrader!

Uitstekend gegeten in dit huiselijke restaurant. Vijf vegetarische gerechten besteld, alle vijf vijf sterren waard. De dumplings zijn uitzonderlijk goed, maar dat geldt ook voor de eiergerechten. Maar ook liefhebbers van vis en vlees kunnen hier terecht. Heb hier eerder lamsvlees met komijn gegeten. Beste Chinees van Den Haag, niet alleen voor Chinezen.

Ik kom hier vaak met een Chinese kennis van mij, en volgens haar is en blijft dit het beste Chinese restaurant in Den Haag. En het restaurant houd zich aan die naam, heerlijk eten, aardige bediening en een echte authentieke Chinese sfeer. Alleen vind ik het jammer dat niet al het eten tegelijk komt maar 1 voor 1, dus hou daar rekening mee. Verder zijn het hele prima prijzen voor de porties!

Good authentic Chinese food! Loved their sweet and sour dish and their fried tofu! Great seafood variety as well! Definitely recommend.

Authentic, and delicious Northeastern Chinese food for great value. I had the pork ears with housemade sauce and their squid with pickled mustard greens. The housemade sauce was sweet and sour, really well made and it was the highlight of the dinner for me. One of their specialty dishes is the stir fried eggplant with bell peppers and potatoes, and it has a delicious, similarly sweet-sour sauce that you can eat with a spoon. Their dumplings are also fresh, do try them as starters. We always order their jasmine tea in a pot when we go as a big group, it's more than enough for 6+ people and tastes good. The service is really fast, and they're definitely generous with their portions! Everything we tried so far has been amazing, but do bear in mind it's a lot of food. They also give extra servings of rice for free.

Eten is hier goed en je krijgt er grote porties voor. Je hoeft hier geen ster service verwachten, ze nemen hier gewoon bestelling op en dan gaan ze gewoon aan het werk. Wel een puntje waar je op moet letten is dat ze de prijzen op de website nog niet aangepast is.. zo staat er voor een kom noodles die wij hadden besteld voor 9 euro op de website, maar de actuele prijs is 12,00 euro. Alsnog het geld waard en voor herhaling vatbaar

I don't understand that as a Chinese Northeast restaurant, its pot-packed meat and fired eggplant are not blended with flour. If you serve Europeans at the same time, I sincerely hope that you will not ruin the reputation of Northeast cuisine. I'm serious because you guys should know how to make real Northeast food! It might take more time though.

Basic tables and chairs, good basic food in the style of North Eastern China. The fresh dumplings are absolutely the best I've had outside China and are highly recommended. (Dumplings from this area of China are closer to Italian ravioli than suet dumplings). On a second visit the dumplings were being hand-made at the back.

In the heart of Den Haag's Chinatown, we indulged in delicious pork ears in homemade sauce and beef Sichuan style. The crunchiness of the pork ears delighted us, while the beef dish, including its soup, left us amazed. The restaurant captures the authentic Chinese eating house experience perfectly. Generous portion sizes meant we couldn't finish it all, leading us to pack the leftovers. Highly recommended!

Leuk! Weer iets anders dan Kantonees en Sichuan. Een verrijking in keuzes. Ik heb daar een aantal malen met veel plezier gegeten. Niet alleen door de smaak, maar ook door de levendige bediening. Zelf probeer ik allerlei ‘rare’ gerechten, zoals varkensoren, waarna je weet of je die ooit weer eens gaat bestellen. Maar wat de boer niet kent….of toch maar wel proberen? Oprecht 5 sterren.

Perfekt! Super frisch gemachte dumplings! (Man kann zusehen wie sie gemacht werden). Tolles gung bao! Preis Leistung super! Meine üppig und Qualität perfekt!

We waited for over 45 minutes to finally get our order. The price is not very competitive considering the portion. The taste is not bad, but we do hope the service can be more polite and efficient.

Het eten is hier heel goed! Prijs kwaliteit en de porties/smaak is dik in orde! elke keer als ik hier kom dan bestellen we wel iets van de spicy op de menukaart en dat valt nooit tegen. vis en kip/rundvlees gerechten zijn aan te raden. de lam spiesjes zijn ook nice. porties meer dan voldoende. aanrader zou ik zeggen.

Even snel een hapje gegeten voordat ik huiswaarts ging, en wat een verrassing was dat! Klein zaakje, aardige bediening. Grote kaart/veel keuze, wonton soep en 3 kleine pasteitjes met vlees en groenten gekozen. .Heelijk vers, fijne kruiden en bijzondere smaken. Echt zalig gegeten, ik ga hier zeker terug, mega aanrader!

Nu komt mijn vrouw toevallig uit het noordoosten van China, dus deze gerechten zijn ons bekend. Guo Bao Rou is voor mijn zoon en mij het meest favoriete gerecht, echter in Nederland moeilijk te vinden. Maar geluk, hier hebben ze dit gerecht en telkens als we hier gaan eten moet deze op tafel staan.
