I am visiting New York Pizza on the Linie in Apeldoorn for the umpteenth time now, and whenever there is a 2-for-1 offer, it's chaos. I wanted to order two 40cm family pizzas online, but at checkout, I had to pay for both pizzas (€48). So I chose to pay cash in the store to sort this out there and only have to pay for one pizza at €24. But once I arrived, it was a big problem; they initially wanted me to pay €48, but naturally, I wasn't going to do that. Then they said their system wasn't right, so I said, "Never mind, I'll just pay €24 in cash, and then it will be correct that my second pizza is free, just as they advertise." Now the not-so-bright salesperson says I had to pay €35 because there was an extra charge for the crust!!! I decided to leave before things escalated. Next, I drove to Domino’s Pizza and got a 50% discount on the pizza there too, and TOTALLY NO PROBLEM WITH PAYING. So from now on, I am NEVER GOING TO NEW YORK PIZZA DE LINIE IN Apeldoorn AGAIN. Hopefully, they read this at headquarters and do something about it, because they have lost me as a customer.

Recently got a new owner, and you can tell! Tasty and hot pizzas and the service has really improved!!!! We will be coming here more often from now on.

Usually quite good, with occasional dramatically bad outliers when there is something special like King's Day or a World Cup. Their app should display the expected delivery times much better.

Since the new owner, the food is much better, it is ready faster, and everything looks cleaner. Excellent improvement. Definitely recommended now!

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd last week. NYP contacted us to say they couldn't deliver it; that can happen and isn't a problem. What *was* a problem, however, was that after spending a week trying to get my money back with Thuisbezorgd, there was absolutely no response. Eventually, I called NYP and explained the situation. I received immediate assistance and was spoken to politely (shout out to Luca!), and they delivered the order to us a week later after all. An adequate and customer-oriented solution!

After waiting 1.5 hours, I just called. The order had been delivered incorrectly... the pizza was supposed to be on its way as soon as possible, with a cup of ice cream as a consolation prize. You guessed it... pizza, no ice cream. So, a big fat zero points. (Apeldoorn de Linie)

My orders often go wrong, like olives instead of banana peppers, ordering cinnamon bread and getting cheese bread, or not getting pepperoni on a pepperoni pizza 🤪 Calling is pointless. This NY Pizza location is really bad compared to others.

Bad, food over an hour late. On the phone, they kept saying the order was just leaving. So, the food ended up being cold. First and last time ordering from here. Definitely don't order!!! Unless you like cold food and eating later than planned... Maybe it's fine for takeout.

They forgot to deliver something on our previous order, which we received a coupon for a free pizza (which can't be used with other offers). The pizzas on our second order were stone cold (and took an awfully long time to arrive). Customer service couldn't resolve the issue.

Truly disgraceful treatment (January 31st). At 6:00 PM, I ordered 4 pizzas. By 7:40 PM, they still hadn't arrived. It was very busy, etc., which I understand on Saturday evening, but my order was already ready in the app at 7:00 PM. Finally, at 7:48 PM, a delivery driver arrived, and there was another driver standing on the corner, laughing? The pizzas were delivered, but they turned out to be completely cold (and the tuna was half-cooked). I immediately called back and was told new pizzas would arrive in 30 minutes at most. Then I saw that the two delivery drivers were still standing on the street corner?! What do you mean, busy? At 8:48 PM, still no one... I called again; they had no idea what I was talking about. I explained again, and then suddenly they said: "You have to pick it up." I replied that I wasn't planning on doing so (which isn't possible either), but I ordered three hours ago and wanted hot pizzas. Okay, then they could be there in 45 minutes. I told them I was done with it and wanted my money back, but that wasn't an option. Okay, then I still wanted my pizzas and a guarantee they would actually arrive—yes, someone would definitely come. But suddenly I had to return the pizzas I already had. You guessed it, at 10:23 PM still no pizzas. I called again and again had no idea what I was talking about, was passed to someone else three times, and then got Sven, the manager, on the phone again, and he was full of nonsense. Finally, he said I would get my money back, but judging by all the reviews, I can probably kiss that goodbye. What a terrible place, it's unbelievable.

Bizarre. You wait four hours for the pizza, and part of the group had to leave because they were traveling home. It should have been ready for over an hour. When you call a third time, you get a message that it's on its way with the courier who's supposedly on a trip with a lot of orders. They suggest canceling, and I agree, and before I even hang up, you hear cheers: "We don't have to go downtown anymore!" Bizarrely bad service. You're screwed if you have to order here.

After waiting two hours for the pizza, we called to ask where it was. The employee told us it still needed to be made and clearly thought we were complaining. He claimed there were other customers who had already been waiting for three hours. He also claimed there were many customers ahead of us, so we canceled our order. It's not a big deal if it takes longer once, but getting a rude response and no apology is actually the worst part. I wonder if we'll get our money back. When we looked at the other reviews, we were honestly shocked by all the reviews. Here's another one for the pile.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I placed my order at 5 p.m., and when I called at 7 p.m., I was told it would take another 45 minutes. I'd agreed to pick it up then, but when I arrived, they'd just sent the pizzas away with the delivery driver. A truly awful experience.

Update: A few days later, Dani left me a voicemail. First of all, he apologized several times. That's good. The full order amount has been credited, not just the €2. Delivery was earlier than indicated. Excellent. However, as several other reviews indicate: significantly fewer toppings on the pizza than the picture on the website. I also ordered two sachets of garlic sauce at €1 each. These weren't delivered. It happens. On the phone, the employee suggested a refund of the €2. I would have preferred the sauce, but that's fine. 5 minutes later, NYP called me back. The delivery driver swears he put the sauce in the box, remains adamant, and therefore claims I'm lying. I offered him a chance to take a look, but they don't have time. He keeps repeating that he put the sauce in the box. So I ask for the manager. He tells me they can't transfer €2, and that it can only be done with store credit. Apparently, they don't have online banking. He's going to discuss this with the store management or something. To be continued. It seems they don't care about customer satisfaction. Of course, this is a matter of principle, and it's not about the money.

On December 28th, I ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine. The delivery driver in New York said they were out of wine due to the rush and that I would receive a refund through my bank. To this day, I haven't received my refund; the service was terrible!

A very bad experience with this branch. I ordered and paid for a pizza. Two hours later, nothing had been delivered. When I called, they couldn't do anything for me. They said the delivery driver left five minutes ago. Almost half an hour later, still no pizza. When I called again, they again said they couldn't do anything. I told them I really didn't need the pizzas anymore (my guests had already left), and they said they couldn't refund my money. I called again, saying this was simply terrible service. I could have my money refunded, but it took five days. The cancellation wasn't confirmed by email or anything. In short, very amateurish and definitely not customer-friendly. Now let's see if I get my money back...

Ordered several times, always the same pizza. Every time I specified that there shouldn't be a hot swirl on it, and every time it was on there. They don't even bother to read the order because then they say "yeah, didn't see it during the conversation," and then they are uninterested as well, and curt, and they don't know how to plate the pizza either.

Poor service, laughed at on the phone. I paid €76 for a pizza and received too little because the delivery driver was hungry. He told me this over the phone, so he ate a pizza on the way, and the pizzas were cold when they arrived.

Ordered a 35cm pizza, waited two hours (like many others, I see in the reviews now), called back several times, and they kept giving different reasons why the pizza hadn't arrived yet. The delivery driver finally showed up, and it was a 25cm pizza. I asked for a refund. Yes, they can, but you have to return the pizza. I initially asked if they could just refund the difference in price between the 25cm and 35cm instead of returning it, but the employee on the phone wasn't sure and should have checked with the manager. This isn't the first time these problems have arisen. My sister has to eat gluten-free, and they ask her not to cut it. A few weeks ago, I ordered a pizza, and it arrived sliced. We also requested a new one, but the pizza didn't have the requested sauce. If you really want to order New York pizza, go to the location on Koningenlaan, not here. Update: I posted a review around 9:30 PM. It's now 10:23 PM, and the pizza that was supposed to be picked up so I could get my money back is still sitting there. No one came to pick it up, but I still want my money back.

After waiting two hours for our order without a response, we called the store. The answer was that due to a "system error," half of the order was ready, but the other half wasn't. We'll never know how accurate this is, but everything was cold upon delivery. Furthermore, the pizzas were poorly topped and had more crust than anything else. In this case, it was definitely not worth the wait.

Order not delivered and only call after 50 minutes to say it will take another hour, children who now have no food, no solution at all, thinking about offering compensation and or a solution for this very undesirable situation. Bizarre. You order a loaded pepperoni pizza because it's supposed to be full of pepperoni. What you get is a plain pizza with a stray piece of sausage. I called, but no compensation, nothing. Besides, the grease practically spilled out of the box, and that's for the price they're asking for it. I've ordered from two other locations, and they say they'll load it up with pepperoni like the picture on the website. I'll order from there from now on. Judging by the other reviews, this location is going downhill. Sad. It used to be great there.

Don't order!!! If you call and ask where your pizza is after an hour, the employee immediately comes up with a rehearsed answer about too few staff, sick people, extra busy due to a promotion blah blah blah. On the line the employee told me that there were still 8 people waiting... I then cancelled the order with the promise that I would get my money back soon. I ordered on June 7 and I am still waiting for my money two weeks later. Branch manager Wouter is also of no use to you. He is really a wet fart with zero compassion... I have now emailed the service department and they are now sending me a message that they have sent the franchisee a message. Order of thirty euros... come on, New York Pizza. This can be done better, right?

Don't order here, but go to Domino's. After waiting 2:16 hours they finally arrived. Kids already in bed. We were told by phone that they couldn't run. It turned out to be busy during the Pentecost weekend. No apologies by phone, no apologies at the door. Nothing, nada. The food only made it worse. Just ordered a pizza and paid extra for a garlic swirl on top, what do I find out when I open the box? That it is not on it, the oregano is also not on the pizza. In addition, this pizza was described as hot and spicy while there was a pitiful amount of jalapeños on it, so I can't call it spicy. And again the rest of the topping was also very scarce so for me the last time I order here.

The last few months have been very bad. Gave it one last chance today, but I won't order again. Regularly had cold pizza and the ingredients were wrong. Ordered a sweet box, half of which is missing. Both pizzas had hot honey on them. Unfortunately it wasn't there. There was extremely little topping and the tomato sauce and BBQ sauce could not be tasted. The pizza was tough and looked like cardboard.

Ordered a while back, but the quality of the pizzas is deteriorating. Pizzas are dry, it's like biting cardboard. Topping is hard to find. If you order pizza sworma you have to look for the meat. They can't cut pizza. Tomato sauce should be on it, but you have more tomato sauce than cheese, and that is simply not tasty if you only have a bite of tomato sauce with a piece of cardboard in your mouth. Sending Miss staff to Italy once will do wonders. Seems like production work these days.

Pizza with pesto came without pesto. Spoke to the manager (?) and the new pizza was delivered in about 20 minutes after I called and he bought pesto himself. After 45 minutes I called to find out where the pizza was and the delivery would now leave. Once again a pizza without pesto is delivered. The manager continues to insist that it contains pesto and that he made the pizza himself. However, there was clearly no pesto on or in it, but the manager persisted and called me a liar. I then drove to the branch and they came to the conclusion that there was no pesto on it. I will never order anything from this branch again. Delivery takes forever while they make a mistake themselves and apparently they find it necessary to call customers liars. So indecent and very customer unfriendly. I cannot recommend anyone to order here.

Downright bad experience with this branch. My order was left outside the oven for far too long, which was visible in the tracker. The delivery person indicated that the pizzas were cold and promised to call me the next day with a solution - this did not happen. After several calls to the branch, I continue to be sent from pillar to post, and my refund has still not been arranged. I was promised again today that the manager would solve this, but after so many empty promises I no longer have confidence in that. Bad service and customer friendliness.

We ordered the BBQ Bacon Deluxe pizza. (19-07-2024) When we got home and started eating it, it turned out to be very spicy. I thought maybe I was wrong, I double checked the information on the website but the website didn't say the pizza was spicy. I called the pizzeria to check if the pizza was spicy. To which they told me it wasn't spicy. I said the pizza was spicy, they replied maybe it was a little spicy. We wanted to eat with the children, but because it was spicy, the children did not get pizza. I received an email response saying they would contact me. It has been half a year now, from 19-07-2024, I am still waiting and there is no longer an answer by email

Been a customer for years so I had collected a lot of points last year the Newyork pizza website changed BOOM ALL MY SAVED POINTS gone! So I can start over again, thanks!

New York Pizza: It's All in the Dough Picked up two large California Veggie pizzas yesterday, but what a disappointment. According to their motto "It's all in the dough", but they should have taken that literally, because one pizza was so poorly baked that the dough was still raw. And if that wasn't bad enough, the other pizza had chunks of meat in it. With a vegetarian pizza. For me this is the last time I get something to eat here. Really scandalous!

My son found a cigarette in his pizza box! This was after waiting more than 2 hours for the pizzas. Appetite gone, child was shocked and now no longer wants pizza. Immediately filed a complaint. More than 2 months have passed and still no response from the branch. The head office keeps referring. Incredible. I wonder if this review will finally lead to a response, but I'm afraid it will. No more New York Pizza for us!

Delivery was supposed to take 30 minutes but took 2 hours and then not all the toppings were on it.

At 8:30 PM on a Wednesday evening we ordered 2 pizzas. Then you have to wait more than 1 hour for your pizza, it doesn't seem that busy in the evening anymore, I think. When you finally get your pizza, it is black and missing the topping. So you try to call the line, after 8 minutes no one has picked up the phone yet. Sending an email will not get a response either. Super bad!!!!

Bad experiences lately with NYP's Linie branch. Delivery is often much too late and not even delivered at all tonight and they are also unreachable by telephone. They don't seem to have things going well at this location at the moment.

I thought I'd try it again today and I received a phone call (after ordering). via home delivery and therefore already paid).. yes we no longer have a pizza baker so no one can make the pizzas.. you can try at another branch.. thanks guy.. never order here again!

Extremely bad service at the New York Pizza aan de Linie in Apeldoorn! There was hardly any topping on our pizzas, perhaps because there was a promotion... dramatic. Normally we get the pizzas from another location, unfortunately not this time...! I then contacted them by telephone and got a female "manager" on the line, "I made them myself so they are good." Clearly a lack of self-reflection and understanding. DO NOT GET PIZZA HERE you have been warned

It's that I have to give one star as a minimum otherwise they wouldn't get a star. Ordered a quarter to 7, was told that the delivery time was 20 to 30 minutes. After an hour I called again and was told that the order had not yet been processed because they had received too many orders, but canceling was also not an option, it had to be delivered to my home. A quarter to 10 they weren't there yet, it's been 3 hours!!! The order was therefore canceled without consultation. Or you don't want to sit around hungry for 2 hours for nothing, waiting for food that will no longer come. Never here again!!

Previous order at De Linie in Apeldoorn went wrong twice. First order of 2 pizzas was half an hour late and both cold, 1 burned black, and BBQ swirl forgotten. Received new order, no BBQ swirl again. Ordered 1 pizza today with chili sauce on it... it has garlic sauce on it. How difficult can it be. If you are in the area later in the evening and only want to report it because it is disappointing, you hear when you leave that they tell each other that I should not exaggerate so much. When ordering, we were not allowed to order the promotional pizza, even though it was on the plate in front of us. Order took a long time. Funny enough, they were cold even though we ordered them on location. Our suspicion: 4 of the 5 were ready and 1 had to be made again, because 1 was warm. Also ordered 2 side dishes. Unfortunately, they had forgotten 1 of these 2, our own mistake that we did not check this on location. Unfortunately mediocre experience. The warm pizza was tasty!

Yesterday I ordered pizzas from the counter with some friends to take away. Ordering was difficult at first, the young man behind the counter clearly didn't feel like it and things kept going wrong. After more than 20 minutes our pizzas were not ready yet, but when we asked about it they suddenly were. However, the second part of the order has not yet arrived. In the meantime we heard them cursing among themselves and saying that something had gone wrong with the bases of the pizzas. But nothing was said to us. When we asked about it ourselves, it turned out to indeed be about our pizzas. There were no excuses and they looked at us grumpily when we asked what their solution was. We just had to wait a little longer and it would only take 2 minutes. But of course that's not possible, because the pizzas had to be made from scratch. There was clearly no manager or something present and we were snubbed. Eventually we received the pizzas, but the first part of the order was already cold. Bad service and we expected a discount or something extra.

The cheese and tuna and tomato sauce reached 8cm from the edge. As a result, the 8-10cm edge became bone dry and tasteless. So no advertising. THEREFORE NOT A GOOD CHRISTMAS PROMOTION. also. With HOME delivery I would have sent everything back.

Unreliable service. If I receive my pizza on time (45-60 minutes), my pizza is still nice and warm. If I have not received my pizza after 1.5 hours, the phone indicates that the pizza will arrive warm. When the pizza finally arrives 2 hours after placing the reservation, the pizza is cold. So you don't know in advance what you will get.

Making a pizza with all the ordered ingredients is just as difficult as delivering it on time. If you order pepperoni pizza you will receive a salami pizza up to 3 times that is NOT what we ordered!!! I made a note when ordering, so far we have received a salami pizza twice so far instead of pepperoni, I would like a pepperoni but no, another salami REALLY BAD For the rest, the pizza is always tasty and delivered on time, but this is simply NOT possible!

Ordered a pizza with garlic and various other dishes but it was not completely delivered. I then called the branch and they told me that the dishes were being delivered afterwards, but when they arrived one half was cold so I could still throw it away. I called the branch and they promised me a new one. pizza for free with the next order At first I agreed with this but when I wanted to redeem their promise they broke the promise and told me that I was lying and that I had only ordered 2 from here in my entire life I think I have ordered more than 100 times over the years and I find this extremely disappointing quality of New York pizza, really not normal!
