New York Pizza in Wijk 03 Zuidwest

Ordered 3 pizzas and opted for ASAP delivery. Two hours later, still no pizzas. I called. Argument: Just out of the oven, sick employees, we'd get a little extra to compensate. Reality: The receipt said the pizzas had been out of the oven an hour ago, the pizza was almost cold, and no extra compensation.

Normally, I'm very pleased with New York Pizza, but it seems like something has changed for the worse recently. Today, I waited 2.5 hours for my order due to busy times and sick leave. I'd like to say to the management: if there are so many sick leave calls, there's something wrong with the company culture.

Ordered two pizzas, finally delivered after a long wait. There was literally nothing on the pizza. I called and asked for a refund. They promised. After a week, still nothing, so I called again. After two weeks, still nothing, so I called again. Now, three weeks later, still nothing, and I've called three times now. All in all, delivery time is long, pizzas are disgusting, and the service is absolutely terrible.

The pizzas were supposed to be delivered to the bungalow. Unfortunately, this didn't happen. The pizzas were cold. The pizzas were also delivered too late.

Sorry, but you've waited three hours for your order. Why would you want it after three hours? Do you think someone would wait that long and not arrange something else? Don't answer the phone to make it possible to cancel. Don't even call the customer to say it's busy. Don't even call the next day to maybe offer an apology. Customer service only refers you to the franchise itself and a complaint form. Worst experience ever, and it could have been easily resolved by the franchise itself or New York Pizza. It's not like you haven't been doing this for years, right? It's not your fault for the people who work there. But the manager or owner, you've got to do better. I won't do business with New York Pizza anymore, and this wasn't my first bad experience with you. 3 strikes out!

After a long wait due to a mistake in the store, I took pizzas with me once home it was very disappointing meat was hard to find on the pizzas, pizzas were also not tasty and was very disappointing! For the long wait I was allowed to take 4 small Ben and Jerry ice creams with me.

Pizza half and half chosen, unfortunately this arrived mixed together. Cheese and bacon sandwich was not baked properly, dough when you bit into it. Hotdog was very tasty, top sauce. Great🤩 Service was great, food came super fast. 20+ minutes earlier.

Beautiful branch, and the best branch manager. Great because there was something wrong with my order and he fixed it immediately, other locations can learn from that! Definitely recommended!

We had to wait over an hour, ordered at 8:07 PM, and at 9:15 PM we received a nearly cold pizza. No one was available. What a terrible place! Think twice before ordering from here. There are other places where you can order pizza that are much better.

The New York Pizza in Veenendaal is really bad. Extremely long waiting time, cold pizza, food is greasy and undercooked. Terrible. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Ordered pizza again today after a long time. It was supposed to take 20 minutes, so I gave it a little longer. Called after 50 minutes, yes it was busy, but she was on her way. They are closed for ordering via their own website, but for home delivery they are open for ordering but without promotions/discounts. So very handy.

The quality of the food here has deteriorated over the years. The garlic bread dough is not cooked and the pizzas are sparingly topped. Not recommended!

I have eaten New York pizza in Veenendaal for years and the pizzas have always been tasty and well topped, but the last few times I have ordered here, the pizzas have been very poorly topped. There is hardly any cheese on a pizza magherita, even though that is the main ingredient.

The food is good, but the service is incredibly bad on weekends. We waited more than 2 hours for our pizzas, while the expected delivery time was 50 minutes. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, I called the branch because the status of the order was still 'received by the branch'. Then we were treated very unfriendly by a boy who told us that the pizzas were in the oven and would be delivered within half an hour. In the end it took more than 50 minutes. The message that the pizzas were already in the oven is therefore probably not true, and only a sweetener for waiting customers. We will never order on the weekend again.

Nice delicious pizza’s. Friendly staff and good costumer support. A good idea is to go there and buy unbaked dough, you can put your own toppings on the dough at home and bake your own pizza.

Scandalous communication. Order placed at 6:10 PM and the order would be delivered at 6:30 PM. After waiting 1.5 hours we called. We were politely told that we would now have to wait an additional 2 hours. If we had not called ourselves, we would only receive the pizza at 9:30 PM, even though it was ordered at 6:10 PM. Not recommended!

And in Veenendaal I have also encountered a delivery person who sat on the phone on the scooter for minutes.
