New York Pizza in Wijk 02 Volendam

I find the price/quality ratio at this location to be extremely skewed. Here in Volendam, you're mainly paying for the brand name printed on the box. The pizzas are very sparsely topped, and the gluten-free pizza was bone dry. A waste of our money. It's best to stay away. No more Volendam pizzas for us. (They only like flippers with sugar there, anyway.) We can still get a cup of kibbeling (fried fish and chips) at the Jonk delicatessen, but that's all they have at De Dijk. We're happy to drive to Oosthuizen or Edam for something tasty. That fishing village is destitute. We don't know any good food anywhere.

We ordered in the morning for a specific time in the afternoon. The pizzas arrived 1½ hour late, after making an additional phone call. The pizzas arrived cold and with one missing. We were refused a refund for the missing one; instead they would deliver it. The missing pizza was a vegan shoarma pizza; what they delivered instead, was a cheaper pizza with cheese and salami. The lactose intolerant and vegan members of our party were not amused. After bringing up our issue and complaint by phone, we were accused of having a hostile tone. I was there during that phone conversation, and I've rarely heard a more calm customer voice their legitimate complaints. We did not receive a refund or any other compensation. Terrible service. Avoid.

I really wonder what's so hard about putting extra cheese on it, I order it and ask for it and even pay for it, so I just do that, and I also forgot the garlic oil on the edge, which is what makes it so delicious, there is one girl who at least gives extra cheese well and when I call she does it too, she can always make the pizzas as far as I'm concerned

I ordered through Thuis Bezorg. And the chicken that came was awful. I asked for barbecue sauce with my chicken wings and you even put these sauces in the chicken. Plastic materials should not be put in food. Thanks to you, the birds that could not feed themselves for dinner were fed. I will never order from you again.

Simply great pizza, I had Greek pizza, the dough, ingredients were great. I love that there were lots of choices to choose from.

Ordered a pizza on December 27 and was told after 5 minutes that the dough was gone. Arrange with an email that you will get your money back. Ridiculous but okay. Then email customer service for months and every time they ask for your details and then you don't hear anything anymore. Have now done this 3 4 times and 9 months later and no response. Biggest scammers and bad customer service ever! Stay away from this ball tent update March 2025 money was returned by the manager after emailing 6 times.

Lousy service. For months now, the delivery times have been bizarrely long. You keep hoping for an incident, but it really seems to be structural here. Today, another delivery time of over 2 hours! In the meantime, I can eat free pizza every week with the vouchers you get for a late delivery!

Place an order at 5:55 PM that would be delivered at 6:45 PM. Finally, at 7:30 PM, after calling 3 times, we got someone on the phone where we were given the worthless excuse that it would only arrive half an hour after our order. Then waited another half hour and called again. Then the same excuse again. It is now 8:00 PM and still no order in sight. This store would do better to close its doors.

Free ice cream was not given because the coupon was not passed on by telephone, a children's gift was not included with the children's pizza and the pizzas were very poorly topped.

Ordered food well in advance, waited a long time and then canceled to no avail. These people just wanted to get home on time. The door was already locked three quarters of an hour beforehand. Hungry in bed.

They are just amateurs, I order neatly and I will receive a home delivery message in 15 minutes that your order has been canceled. This is outrageous beyond words.

What uninterested people work there. When you ask what ingredients are in the pizza, the blonde lady in question says that there is too much print and that they are really not going to read it. You will only have one food allergy. Such people should simply not work there. I think that's bad for the company.

What a worthless operator who has been working on a complaint since November that has still not been answered until January 30, 2024. Cold pizza submitted a complaint during delivery but nothing was said!!!

Ordered a sweet box, it didn't contain the right thing at all. No one answers and we are now left with 3 frozen cookies for 15 euros!! The poffertjes that came with it were cold and we had to throw them in the oven ourselves. Ridiculous service!!

Very poor delivery service, have now had the order canceled several times 20 minutes after placing an order. No excuse, no explanation, so no understanding from my side. There could be anything going on, but at least explain it. Or change something about your delivery service.

Levert precies op tijd, eb is lekker

Onwijs aardig geholpen, waren ook erg lief tegen de kinderen. Alleen erg jammer dat ze niet even melden dat er een actie loopt, waardoor ik achteraf 5 euro teveel kwijt was, wat niet nodig hoefde te zijn.

Dit is de beste manier om aan je pizza te komen heerlijk maar heel snel mogelijk om de pizza te bezorgen

I really give up with this place. The staff are super friendly and sweet, but my order has either been wrong or late four times in a row now. First time, order was wrong, but ate it anyway because the kids were starving . Second time, incorrect order, but ate it anyway. Third time, nightmare to actually place the order - website wouldn't except the code I received in an email. Order arrived late and was incorrect. Fourth time, was a partially free order because of other 3 experiences. Order arrived almost an hour late, but was correct pizzas this time. The amount that I had to pay was double than what was agreed on the phone. Delivery guy was just like "we had to wait for other orders in Monnickendam to come in". So if you're just hanging around, call me and tell me you're going to be late. Pizza was also warm and not super fresh. FYI, I places the order in advance - 2 hours before requested delivery time. I'm a patient person, but when you're treating yourself so you don't have to cook and all these things happens, it ruins it. Also not fair on the kids who need to eat and then go straight to bed because it's so late. I give up! Will go back to making my own pizza at home.

Fantastisch als je van slechte pizza houd

As italian tourists we didnt imagine to find a good pizza but we change our mind was a very tasteful pizza, nice guys u can see them work hard!! They have also gluten free choice very good and tasteful... We advice for vegetarian tourists that can't eat fish to eat the vegan shoarma pizza so u contribute also to the sea shepherd!!!
