If 0 stars were possible... The pizzas were late, they were lukewarm to cold, and if they dare call this a pizza.... It is dough with tomato sauce, no other flavor to be found. Last time ordering here, should have checked the reviews beforehand. 1 should have had a thick crust, and the sourdough was just like cardboard.

Terrible place, more than 3 hours later and still no one in sight. Had to call twice with the answer that they are almost ready.. another 1.5 hours later nothing.. called again and they are unreachable.. only to reply with maybe it won't be possible to deliver them, I'm just going to ask if the delivery person wants to deliver them.. a bit of a topsy-turvy world. I would definitely order pizza somewhere else. ;)

Everything burn and without some ingredients

Waited 2 hours, called, and were told the delivery person would be here soon. Waited another half hour... wrong pizzas and no sauces. Called again and then was told they wanted to bring it but that what we had ordered was sold out. The pizza wasn't cut either.

Ordered a pizza at 18:30. Called at 19:30 to ask how much longer it would take. The answer: “It is busy, but the pizza will be here within 25 minutes.” By now, it is 2 hours and 10 minutes later and we still haven't received a pizza. I haven't received a phone call, apology, or any other update either. Being busy can happen, but I find it truly unacceptable to keep customers waiting this long without any communication. It has also been showing as ready for shipment in the app for more than 25 minutes.

What a worthless place. You can tell what kind of business this is just by the teenagers hanging around inside and around. You place an order, but it doesn't even arrive. Stay away from here unless you really have no other choice. Even 1 star is too much...

It's a shame that such a big name has to hire staff who are there for the salary and not for the passion. It really is in the dough, not in the people who have to make it. I came back with the wrong pizzas and not even an apology. I will never order from here again, in any case.

Last week we ordered pizzas; it was supposed to take 40 minutes. After waiting for an hour, we called. The delivery person was supposed to be there within a few minutes, so we waited. After almost another 45 minutes, we called again to find out where our order was. Multiple times the line was disconnected or we were put on hold. After waiting for 2.5 hours, I was done with it and drove to New York Pizza to pick up my order. When I arrived there, my email said that my pizza had apparently been delivered 2 hours ago, which was not the case. When we spoke to someone in the place, they didn't know what to say, and it turned out the pizzas had never been made. Then, suddenly, 4 pizzas were ready within 5 minutes – very strange. We did receive 3 free pizza vouchers as compensation. A week later, we decided to give them a second chance anyway, and when we wanted to use the vouchers, apparently that wasn't possible online and we had to come by. We drove there and ordered 2 pizzas. When we were in the car, I looked in the box and they weren't the pizzas we had ordered. So we went back inside... they were going to make the pizza again. There was a black Tesla in the parking lot with someone inside (the same thing happened the week before when I went to pick up my pizza after it wasn't delivered). That man suddenly stood inside and started interfering with the situation... the person who had taken our order also had earpieces in, really very unprofessional... I am never coming here again! I have never experienced anything like this before.

The pizza in this city has been terrible for years! If you only like the taste of tomato puree, good luck. The pizza arrived after more than three hours, with the claim that they were out of salami. Then they asked if I wanted salami. The service was just as bad as the pizza. No wonder they only have 2.2 stars in the reviews.

What the heck. Ordered at 12:00 to be delivered at 12:55. It is now 15:05 and I still haven't received anything. It is a shame that I cannot request a refund.

My girlfriend and I had 2 options: either go grocery shopping and cook ourselves, which I didn't feel like doing, or order a nice, easy pizza. Well, the choice fell on a pizza. Ordered at 9:00 AM, delivered at 10:50 PM. “Yeah honey, it must be busy,” I said. Cold. As tough as a piece of roofing felt. Ordered Fernandez, got iced tea (they look very similar, of course, if you can't read and are colorblind). And as the cherry on top, 2 wrong pizzas too. So if you like playing a game of Russian roulette, I would order a pizza here!

What a disaster... we should have checked the reviews here first... We ordered at 18:30 and at 19:17 it said online that it had been delivered... But you guessed it... no pizza. We called and were spoken to rudely, told that the delivery person was already on their way and nearby... Then it took until 21:00!! for our food to arrive, after we had called at 20:45 demanding pizza within fifteen minutes or a refund... The pizzas were sparsely topped, not tasty, and cold. This is a real waste of our money (and time).

Definitely worth repeating. Fast delivery!

Well, you’ll never guess, the staff themselves don’t even know what’s going on at their own workplace. Last night we placed an order over the phone, but they forgot to prepare it… an hour later we got a call asking if we still wanted it (it was 11:00 PM by then). We said forget it, it’s already pretty late by the time it arrives. The guy on the phone understood, he apologized, and said we would get a free pizza with our next order and that he would put this in the system. We just called back to use this for dinner, and they have no idea and there’s nothing in the system. A lot of time and hassle later… still nothing. We’ll just order somewhere else from now on.

It was a pretty okay place until two or three years ago. Just ordered here again after a long time, because the other pizzeria is closed. The pizzas arrived twenty minutes late, but I think they were already ready for a while; that’s how they taste, at least. Also, look how stingy they are with the cheese; a little grated cheese poorly distributed. Against food waste, I ended up throwing away one of the two pizzas anyway. Never again.

I have never left a negative review in my life. But this place really begs for it. Long story short: no pizza, no refund, no proper handling. All in all, disastrous. Really ridiculous service, I would have preferred not to give a star. I've been waiting for my order for 2 hours already. The delivery person had already been by, the man on the phone said. Clear explanation given in the description with a phone number included. No delivery person in sight. Now they just have to make my order again. I'm just going to wait another 2 hours, man 😊

Placed an order via Thuisbezorgd well before closing time; the service of delivering within 20-30 minutes is not sufficient. In the end, I didn't receive the order but lost my money. They should close down branches like that. I'll demand my money back tomorrow, since it's impossible to reach anyone or anything.

They should actually be able to give negative stars. Ordered and paid for a pizza early in the afternoon. Tried to contact them after the latest delivery time had passed. Was spoken to rudely. Canceled the order out of sheer misery, but now I still need to get my money back.. Tried to get a manager on the line, no idea if that worked. Every time he supposedly just left. Subsequently had several rude "managers" on the line, but no refund. If you are looking for trouble instead of just wanting to have a pizza delivered, then you have come to the right place; otherwise, you are better off avoiding this place!

Even 1 star is too much. After the indicated delivery time had passed, I had to contact them myself only to be told that the pizzas hadn't even been made yet. I was then told that it would probably take more than 30 minutes. As compensation, I was offered a cookie, which doesn't exactly come across as serious after such a delay. When I indicated that I wanted my money back, I was told that I would have to wait another 5 to 7 working days for that as well. As if that wasn't enough, the manager simply hung up during the phone call. Very unprofessional customer service and a particularly disappointing experience. I will not order from here again.

A massive, fat 1. Ordered 2 pizzas via the app. Indicated a time of 17:00-17:15. Called at 18:30 to ask where the pizzas were. The man said he was going to check. After 5 minutes and 30 seconds, no answer, hung up, and called again. The second person, yet another one, was on the line, also said he was going to check, and a few minutes later he said he left 2 minutes ago. And then at 17:50 the doorbell rang. And the 2 pizzas were delivered. Ice cold. It seemed just like they came straight from the freezer. Or to put it another way, it looked like they were baked yesterday but hadn't been sold. As a company, I will never, ever order NEW YORK pizza from you again. Sell your junk to someone else! Wasted money, pizzas are in the trash, just in case you want to resell them again!

Unfortunately, the pizza arrived cold. Two ingredients were missing from the pizza, and there was no garlic oil on the crust as ordered. The pepperoni mini bites came in two pieces, whereas there are supposed to be six mini bites? What a shame!! Delivery was fast, though!

No formal tone of voice, just plain rude, no willingness to think along. Something always goes wrong, whether it's the pizza or the sauce ordered separately, or even the delivery deals, etc. They're very tasty pizzas, but that's about it.

Absolutely terrible!!! I was supposed to get a surprise pizza for around €17.99 through Too Good To Go, but when I arrived, there was nothing! They made me a pizza of the cheapest quality! Order here especially if you consider it an investment, or if you're not hungry and need a frisbee. You'll get a frisbee delivered by a little toddler within three business days. It's pretty impressive that three little 12-year-olds run such a store.

Hygiene is non-existent; one person blows their nose and prepares the pizzas without washing their hands or wearing gloves. Delivery bikes went in at 7:00 PM, even though they're only open until 10:30 PM. The pizza was black and tasted absolutely disgusting.

Only ordered chicken products, and everything arrived cold. Twenty crispy chicken wings were rubbery. They had to be baked in a tray for over 20 minutes after waiting 1.5 hours. Furthermore, the so-called BBQ, Korean, and Buffalo wings were chicken pieces with sauce squirted on them instead of cooked with it. The grease had also hardened. Very disgusting. I called, and the first staff member was polite and passed it on to the manager. The "manager," however, was very curt. Now he can't do anything. Next time, a 50% discount on an order. A huge disappointment, such a shame.

I called, and they said they couldn't do anything about it because it was from the pesto. This is the biggest nonsense I've ever heard; it's oil grease, not pesto grease. After speaking to three different people for fifteen minutes, they're finally going to send a new pizza. But after a lot of hassle and hassle. They're always late, even if you place an order early in the afternoon. Receiving your food 1.5 hours after the agreed-upon delivery time is the rule rather than the exception. Online, it says they're on their way, but if your order hasn't arrived after 45 minutes and you call, they tell you they haven't left yet. We're promised a delivery time. If we haven't received anything after the promised time, they call to say it's taking longer and ask why. Then it goes quiet, and we hear a discussion in the background, "What should we say?" "Just tell them it was disconnected," "Sorry, sir, you were disconnected," even though we heard everything. Truly disgraceful service. Definitely don't order from them.

This was by far the worst home delivery ever! We ordered 4 pizzas, and all 4 were, to put it mildly, inedible! Dry, cold, and tasteless! Even the pizzas from the supermarket's refrigerated section are better than these lousy pizzas! Besides the fact that everything was inedible! The delivery was also terrible! It was supposed to be delivered between 5:55 and 6:08 PM! We called at 6:30 PM! The delivery driver would be there in 5-10 minutes! No, so it ended up being 7:00 PM! We thought it would be a nice pizza night with our young children! Never again! It's never worth the money!

I'll never order from here again. Waiting over two hours. And when I call, they give excuses and say it's already in there. Just put that pizza where the sun doesn't shine.

We thought we'd give it one more try. Last time, we were over 2.5 hours late. The order wasn't complete, and they said they'd bring it later. We never saw anyone again. Now again, almost 2 hours late, and after calling twice, we still haven't seen anyone. Just arrived, and the pizzas are cold.

We ordered two pizzas for 5:00 PM. Still no pizzas at 5:30 PM, so I called the restaurant, saying they'd be there in 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, I called again because we still didn't have any pizza. Same story again; we obviously lost faith in them. A load of rubbish about traffic jams. I checked the maps, and there were no delays. I was promised a refund, but I'm afraid that won't happen either. Sorry, but what a terrible place! Never again New York Pizza.

Horrible experience with the Gorinchem location. Almost an hour after the delivery timeframe had passed, our pizzas finally arrived. To give you an idea: the pizzas took an hour and a half to arrive with the delivery driver. We called the location several times, but were told, "No, they'll be here any minute." and "No, they're definitely not cold because they're being delivered in a special box." You can already sense the chill: I was handed stone-cold frisbees by a delivery driver who was only focused on his phone and not on the delivery. I tried calling again, and they promised us a refund within 2-5 business days. Guess what? Never received it, of course, and a message to New York Pizza Netherlands hasn't received a single response either. No way, never again will we be getting pizza from this location. I'd rather have fresh pizzas from places like Il Sole or something similar. You have to pick them up yourself, but at least then you know you're getting truly delicious and hot (!) pizzas to take home!

I called again at 8:30 PM because the pizzas still hadn't arrived. I was told they were on their way. At 9 PM, the pizzas arrived, but they were ice cold. Not even an apology, nothing. I'll never order anything again.

Unfortunately, you can't give 0 stars. After several instances of problems with orders at this location, it's now reached its peak. Ordered pizza, paid for it, and after three hours, still nothing, even though they claim the pizza has been delivered? They don't answer the phone, and the previous times they weren't helpful at all. What a terrible New York Pizza location. Every time, there's something wrong: tough crust, dry pizza, barely any cheese, burnt, or delivered way too late. But this time, my friend even got food poisoning after eating it; the pizza went out right away that night. This was the last time we ordered from them. This location really needs to get its act together. I absolutely do not recommend ordering from them.

Hello, here I am! The food was terrible, it was cold and arrived more than 2.5 hours later than they said... the delivery person even said it was still warm, but when we opened it, it was freezing! The sauce was also forgotten on two pizzas! It was truly awful, and it was freezing!

I hope you all get diarrhea. Waited two hours for a mini pizza and chicken nuggets, called three times each time for a different departure time. Now it arrives cold, and that mini pizza (Margherita) literally has nothing but tomato sauce on it. Ugh.

Well, we ordered food an hour and a half ago. It says it normally takes 15-40 minutes. The app says it's already been on its way for an hour. We called the store four times and still no answer. Finally, after two hours, we got our food. The delivery driver wasn't friendly. We opened the pizza box and received the wrong order. We ordered four different types of pizza: four-cheese, Hawaiian, truffle, and caprese. We didn't get any truffle; instead, we got two burnt pieces. The caprese was also missing; we got mushrooms instead. The pizza and chicken pieces were stone cold, and the Oreo dessert bread wasn't cooked through. We paid €40 for this order, and nothing was right. The receipt said it should be delivered at 6:20 PM, but we got it an hour later. I don't know what the delivery driver did in the meantime. We just want our money back and wouldn't recommend anyone to order from here. Still can't contact the store, because I don't think they know how a phone works. After three minutes of ringing, they just hang up!

In short: wrong order, cold and burnt pizzas, unreachable by phone. Let's all just ignore these amateurs. Great tip: everyone order through Thuisbezorgd, file a complaint, and we'll get a refund. We'll saddle these amateurs with the costs.

Placed an order at 10:11 PM. When I called after 1.5 hours, they said the order would be leaving at that time. The order arrived at 12:40 AM… Cold, not even lukewarm. One of the pizzas was also black and rock hard. Okay, they threw in a cookie for the inconvenience, which was nice, but in my opinion, it doesn't make up for it at all. It was also expensive, truly awful.

After an hour, we finally got the pizzas, which were delivered incredibly cold. When I called back, I got a rather snarky response. They said we might be able to get a new pizza, but he didn't know how long that would take. Meanwhile, my 12-year-old daughter was still waiting for her food. When I pointed this out, I was told not to shout—truly bizarre. What terrible service, I'll never order from them again.

Worst New York pizza I've ever had. When we picked up our order, we initially received the wrong one. Then he said it was the correct order, and I was already walking to the car, thinking I should check. I opened the box, and it was a salami pizza, while I'd ordered chyros. Well, everything was eventually sorted out, but once I got home, the pizza wasn't good at all. Not what I'm used to from New York pizza, anyway. Besides, the restaurant looks messy inside, and no one really seems to know what they're doing. One star isn't really worth it. WRONG OVER THIS PIZZA PLACE!

Delivered to my home. First of all, the pizza arrived too late. Furthermore, the pizzas were ice cold, tough, and dry. Not recommended! Domino's is a much better option!

We waited over 2 and a half hours for our pizzas and the order was wrong and cold, very poor service!!!

Got the wrong ice cream and cookies, called the store at 11:35 PM. They said they'd deliver a new one, but they never came back. My money was wasted... And oh yeah, the guy on the phone had absolutely no manners either. He said he "just started working at the store." In short, I'm being silenced. Never again.
