New York Pizza in Wijk 11 Zaandam Zuid

I ordered chicken pizza twice and got diarrhea. The first time, I thought it was a coincidence, maybe? But after the second time, it was the same. I won't be ordering from here again. It's a shame, because I've always enjoyed their pizzas.

Zaandam branch, called at 6:50 PM on October 29, 2025. Website malfunction, so I couldn't order anything. I called a male employee. I was told I had to download the app, which I did. But the app crashed too. I just wanted to order pizza because there was a special offer: the second half price. I called again, this time a woman answered. The woman on the phone was quite rude and politely said she was a pizza company and not an IT manager or anything like that. I didn't really understand her. In other words, it's not our problem that you can't order anything with the special offer. I assume these kinds of smart-aleck employees shouldn't be talking to customers over the phone. Truly ridiculous. So I ordered from the competition.

Good food at an affordable price, big plus for fast delivery

Don't order bad NYP here. Arrogant employees. After waiting over two hours, I received cold pizzas. Never again. Highly recommended.

Tasty pizza, was ready in like 15 mins , nice dough and tasty toppings, huge variety of pizza options

After seven months, I'm trying NYP again after a bad experience with this company. I ordered from them six months ago, and I was visiting friends, and we waited over two hours for our food. And my friend lives behind this branch. I tried again tonight and was already told an average delivery time of one hour. This time, after waiting over an hour, I called and was told it still needed to be baked. I canceled the order and got a pizza from the supermarket. If a company can't handle this, do something about it. The idea of ​​ordering food from home is that it should be quick and easy, and now, two hours later, I'm still stuck with a home-cooked meal. If I'd known this beforehand, I could have planned my evening differently or chosen a different pizza place. I won't be ordering from NYP again.

Tried again after a few months and was disappointed again. The pizzas are made with so little love. Thin & Crispy pizzas that aren't crispy at all. Whole slices without cheese and other slices with double cheese. Not properly cut. A sad affair.

Ordered and it took almost 2 hours for it to arrive cold. Missing items. Delivery guy was unable to handle a touchpad to ring the bell, so I had to go downstairs

Waited 50 minutes for exactly one pizza, it's around the corner too.

Pleasantly surprised by this pizzeria; the pizzas were really delicious and delivered hot and on time.

Delivery guy who worked today was a kid with good work ethics and a friendly chat, 10/10. Pizza is usually good, and reasonably priced

Food is delivered quickly and warm. I do find it a shame that I order pizzas a few times or pizza dough with oreo/pistachio that has almost nothing on it. It seems like we only eat dough and nothing more. The vegetables and everything could be a bit more on it because this is just stingy.

This New York Pizza is great. Arrives warm. Delivery in half an hour. Nice promotions too. Sometimes no garlic sauce on the shawarma pizza!

Terrible website. They let you order during closed hours. Then you receive your pizza 15h later...

Just received pizzas. Zucchini ricotta pizza, there is no ricotta and mozzarella on it and you have to look for the Zucchini with a large glass

I'm a fan of New York pizza, but the pizzas at the Zaandam branch are really mediocre. Hardly any cheese, tastes more like just tomato sauce (see photo). I have experienced this several times now, it's a real shame.

Friendly people and tasty pizza

I order here every week, always nice and hot. Sometimes it takes a little longer, but then I feel like my pizza more. Definitely continue to order here.

Employee is shouting and cursing in the back (young lady). Hygiene is 0, hands are not washed, I spare people the annoying details of how your food is prepared. Waited 40+ minutes for 1 pizza that they also got wrong. In the end I threw away the whole box, my stomach turned completely from what I saw (hygiene 0 from ALL EMPLOYEES). The only positive thing about this eatery is that the young and older Dutch boys were very friendly, but unfortunately this is not enough if you work in a dining tent.

Always ordered from Dominos or Papa Johns, now once from New Yorker and both pizzas came burnt, they were almost completely black! How dare you send something like that to the customer???!! I will never order from here again. I don't recommend it.

Pizza is fine, they forget 9/10 times the extras you should get with the pizza. Like the lettuce that goes on the döner pizza. Very irritating when the only solution is to wait an extra hour for a bag of lettuce...

Gewoon een super goed restaurant, eten word perfect gemaakt en met een goede snelheid, bezorging is ook super goed en deze zaak zorgt er altijd voor dat het tip en top is. Zeker nadat er een nieuwe eigenaar was gekomen

Heerlijk genoten van een lekkere verse pizza dat bereid werd door klantvriendelijke werknemers. Ik blijf deze zaak zeker vaak bezoeken.

Erg lekkere pizza! Californian veggie. Netjes bezorgd in 33 minuten.

Ben nu een aantal keren geweest en vriendelijk personeel welke ook netjes in NY-werkkleding werkt. Eten is goed.

Jammer vorige keer 5 sterren nu 3. Dezelfde Pizza gehaald maar deze was niet lekker jammer.

Ik ben bijzonder verrast door de klantvriendelijkheid van deze pizzeria. Ontzettend lief personeel!! Lekkere pizza en snel bezorgd. Ik bestel nooit meer elders.

Kreeg een kleinere pizza dan ik besteld had, smaak viel ook best tegen.

Delivery after one hour and pizza not warm

Ik raad het af om te bestellen op zaterdag avond heb om 18:15 besteld en het is inmiddels 19:20 en dat voor 4 pizza’s echt een afrader bezorging duurt veel te lang

De pizza’s zijn meestal wel erg lekker. Helaas wordt keer op keer de knoflook olie op de rand van de pizza vergeten. Één van de redenen dat ik NY Pizza boven de rest kies. Had er laatst nog voor gebeld na het maken van de bestelling voor de zekerheid, en zelfs toen zijn ze het ‘vergeten’.

Bonuspunt bod het aanbod van vegan pizza's, maar ze waren helaas niet erg bijzonder. Dat had ik ook niet verwacht, maar leg de lat laag als je hier bestelt. En neem de tijd, want we hebben bijna anderhalf uur moeten wachten (op een zaterdag). De beloofde tijd was 25 a 45 min.

Heerlijke pizza en op tijd klaar

Pluspunten: snel, vriendelijk, schoon, veel voor weinig. Minpunten: geen pizza slices alleen hele pizza’s beschikbaar. Daarentegen wel voor vijf euro een basis afhaalpizza met salami of champignon’s beschikbaar Op zondag 13 oktober 2019 Super vriendelijk geholpen door Janneke. Die ook nog eens de pizza precies naar wens heeft gemaakt. Al met al een 9,5 als totale score

Damn Tasty! What more can i say?

Best knap om op een bestelling van 2 producten 3 fouten te maken. Ik kwam afhalen maar na 20 minuten kwamen ze naar mij toe om te vragen wat ik ook alweer besteld had, want de bestelling was niet goed doorgekomen. Het eindresultaat was een pizza met een missend ingredient (een Mexican 'not very hot nor spicy') en de verkeerde smaak kipvleugels. Zucht. Gepruts!

De pizza zijn oke niet echt heel lekker

Vandaag weer pizza gehaald. De jongens hebben heerlijk gegeten!

Te vaak dat de pizza niet compleet was.dan weer de sla vergeten dan weer de knoflook.als je je een pizza besteld zonder geitenkaas en je krijgt het er toch op dan zijn ze wel heel dom.en als je belt zeggen ze krijg je de volgende keer 3 euro korting .wat heb ik daar dan aan als ze de volgende keer weer een pizza heb die niet compleet is.

Buiten spitstijden zijn ze redelijk op tijd, maar het is zelden dat je bestelling compleet is (van alle gemiste toppings kan ik bijna een nieuwe pizza bestellen...) Gelukkig zijn de pizza's - als ze warm zijn en buiten de spits besteld zijn - wel oké.

3 keur moeten bestellen. Nog het verkeerde gekregen. Bonnetje wat gevraagd was zat er niet bij. Ze luisten echt niet. Bereiding van het eten was oké.
