Dear pizza piazza, I am a customer for more than 4 years. You used to be my favourite pizza place in zaandam because your pizza swere constantly good.. I can't understand what happened lately and your pizzas are so much different. Unfortunately, the last months I am ordering seems like a gambling whether the pizza will be fine or not. Most common problem is pizza arriving super messy (shape is gone and all ingredients move to one side) and pizza slices are ridiculously cut uneven making akward to share a pizza with friends and even room temperature (not cold/not warm). The quality of ingredients seems like it changed too, in a bad way. I didn't want to leave a bad comment but I think you need to know so you can improve. I won't stop ordering yet since I had way more good pizzas than bad ones. Kind regards, Danai

After ordering three pizzas for 1.5 hours, asking for them to be delivered as quickly as possible, the pizzas weren't even in the oven. I had to cancel the order.

Great food, good service. But sometimes the wait is very long due to crowds.

For the third time in a row, I had to wait over two hours for an okay pizza.

I ordered a calzone pizza and a children's pizza, both with raw dough and no cheese in the calzone. There was barely any cheese on the children's pizza either. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering again...

I had to wait two hours for it to be delivered, and then it was cold and completely tilted because everything had slid off. Eventually, I received a new one, which was handled well and quickly. However, I still found the pizza taste mediocre.

I've been ordering here for years and I think it's by far the best pizza calzone in Zaandam! It's just a shame to see the (previously well-stocked) mixed salad getting increasingly meager, and all that for €4.95. Such a shame!

I've been ordering from here for years, but the prices seem to be going up every week. I understand the cost is going up, but 9.50 for a small Margherita? It feels like I'm getting the most out of it.

The quality and waiting times have deteriorated significantly. It was a shame it was my favorite store.

Best pizza in Zaandam! Add garlic and italian herbs for free for the best experience 👍 Have to take one star off though because in my experience with them, quality depends on who is working on the day. Typically Friday-Sunday has the best food while the rest of the week can be hit or miss. If they can fix the consistency problem then they absolutely deserve 5 stars!

Takeaway. Possibly outside at a picnic table. Good pizzas. Better taste than the big chains. Tasty pasta. Eats up clean.

Ordered a kilo of BBQ spareribs and a 36 cm pizza. Yummmm those were good!! Spareribs were so tender that you could just pull the bone out. Nothing was left!

Had to wait 1.5 hours for the food. Ordered there again after 1 year. Same problem. Not enough delivery people. And often we miss something. Too bad. Used to be a good thing.

Good afternoon yesterday on Mother's Day, treated scandalously!! So we had 4 pizzas, 3 spearibs and a 4 cheese pizza. These pizzas would be delivered within an hour, after a 2 hour wait and having to call in between, the pizza was delivered. S delivered on all 3 pizza spearibs well the spearibs pieces could be counted on each pizza 4 small pieces of spearibs and then still count 53 eu!!!! More than a sorry couldn't get rid of it never again at this or any other pizza piazza what a very bad experience!!

Ordered food and 20 minutes later we could pick it up. Lasagna is very tasty. Penne quattro formaggi also recommended. The Italian sandwiches should not be missing with your food!

Best Spareribs around zaandam or Ámsterdam that i have tried . You get a little baguette,salad ,garlic sauce and tomato sauce with the spareribs included on the price so you finish very full even with the small portion. They also do to good to go and it is very good . Is true that the price is increasing a por since a couple of years but it is also understandable because everything is getting more expensive and still is a fair price for what you get. The pizzas are very good also. We only order online always and the delivery is always good, sometimes it is very busy so it takes time but yeah that is not their fault also and the it is worth the wait at the end. I have to say the last time I ordered spare ribs was not the same quality as till now, they had different flavor and more fat , but I want to believe was just one time things so I will trust it again next time

Order placed for 8 people at 6:30 PM, including 6 dishes with spare ribs. First the delivery time was 8:15 PM. I called for that and the excuse was: it's busy. Well we wait 1.5 hours and then I got a call at 8:00 PM that the spare ribs are gone and that the order cannot go through. Not recommended!

Hadn't ordered for a while because the last pizza was made very salty, but tried it again today and the fish pizza was excellent, richly topped, pizza was still at a good temperature. Will order again more often, best fish pizza I know.

Spare ribs phenomenal. Really delicious spare ribs for a pizza place. Pizzas were also very tasty.

Employee on the phone very disrespectful first I called he told me that delivery would be 15 minutes later and later I called and then said it is now working the oven is in extremely poor quality employee rude no way!!

Got a pizza, nothing wrong with that. Only waking up the next day with stomach cramps, you name it. Go to the doctor and you'll hear food poisoning. This is really not possible!

The quality of the pizzas changes too often. If you call to say something is wrong, it will always be resolved. Another cold, soggy pizza today. Had 1 piece of salami and the rest stuffed with ham. I think I ran out of peppers too. Didn't call about it today. No more pizza from here for a while.

The pizzas were very tasty. But we waited there for an hour for 2 pizzas because they gave the wrong one to other people We received a can of drink each as compensation, but that was about it. Despite the tasty pizza, I wouldn't come again anytime soon

Have ordered pizza calzon with minced meat sauce for many years. The dimensions are getting smaller or different every time. Ordered again two weeks ago Received 2 very small pizzas. Not well cooked and not tasty. We called and got the owner on the phone. This one would do it refund money. Unfortunately this did not happen. We won't order pizza here anymore! We recommend everyone to do this too! No customer service at all. Earn money quickly. It's a shame that the quality has deteriorated so much over the years.

Yesterday you delivered food to the Opera that was not only undercooked, but in addition to the calzone that still looked okay, there was something that looked like old sanitary pads and smelled terribly musty. never seen food that looked so pink. I tasted a bit of it and felt nauseous all evening. Hope the dumpster can handle it better. This has never happened to you before!

Worst spareribs I've ever ordered Dirty overcooked so the meat was not tender but tough. Probably heated too long and marinade will burn on the dish. See picture Don't even give them a second chance!! Tried it again and again I don't recommend it

Very unfortunate, after 20 years, apparently, according to the delivery person (not even that old), it is suddenly a problem to get an Italian sandwich with the spare ribs instead of baguette. And it is suddenly a problem to choose a different sauce for the chicken wings. If there is a price difference (you can also pay extra), but that is not the case. Apparently too much effort?

Ordered here for the first time today, 5 stars for the food and service! The spareribs are really perfect! My girlfriend had the sparerib pizza and she was also very satisfied! We will order here more often!

I ordered earlier last month and the pizza was really tasty, I recently ordered pizza last week, it was way too salty, the chicken was too salty, and I had visitors at home, we were really looking forward to it, but... everyone looked at each other. at the first bite and at the same time we all said it was way too salty. I didn't eat the pizza, it was a waste of money!!, it looked like maggi cubes and chicken herbs were thrown on it, it was so salty that it lost the flavor. I contacted the branch in Zaandam and indicated that it was so tasty last time and this time the chicken was super salty and seasoned on the pizza, it would be passed on to the kitchen, unfortunately I personally thought it was a very poor response on the phone, but that's why I will no longer order here, unfortunately because of this experience.

Today I ordered 2 pizzas again here via Thuisbezorgd.nl. As usual, delivery is right on the hour and the pizzas are delicious. They are nice and warm and delivered in a nice box that ensures that the pizza does not slide or lose toppings. 5 stars for me.

It's worst pizza I ever ordered

Ordered here for the first time. It's not normal how delicious the pizzas are. I would have given the garlic sauce 6 stars if I could. Pizzas were also delivered on time.

Staff: perfect. Very hospitable and friendly ladies Pizza: extremely bad. Level Domino pizza.

Yesterday I picked up what was left at the end of the day via To Good to Go. Good for your wallet and the environment and always a surprise what you get. Always very tasty and fresh. When you come in you have to wait a while because the pizzas and/or calzones are only baked when you arrive. But the result is worth the wait. Yesterday I got a small pizza with peppers and cheese and a calzone with ham, onion and mushrooms with 2 cups of bolognese sauce. Really very tasty, simple pure flavors that harmonize perfectly, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. My compliments!

Super tasty pizza, highly recommended. In terms of base, I prefer the pizzas from the brick oven hut.

On 25-01-24 we ordered 7 pizzas. However, only 6 showed up, after which I called the store and they indicated that one would arrive later. This is of course sad for the person who got their pizza later. There was no apology or acknowledgment of error. Food was good. Unfortunately, this experience is not worth repeating.

We order or pick up here often. The tastiest pizzas available! Service always good too. If something goes wrong with the order, it is always resolved neatly and free of charge. The delivery person today was super friendly and the staff on the phone too.

Ordered 5 pizzas at 6:07 PM. I called at 7:45 PM to ask where the pizzas are. "They are just going into the oven"... Perhaps a call that it would take extremely long would have been nice. To compensate, I was forced to order 1 small bowl of Ben & Jerry's (after rejecting 1 Coke). So if pizzas arrive tonight (it is now 8:20 PM) .... 4 people can watch 1 person eating ice cream. Or we share and we all have a bite Extremely bad service, too bad.

Finally one in Wormerveer. When it was in Thorbeckerplein I often got it there, I lived around the corner. Then I ordered it to leave there and now that I no longer live in Zaandam and it is close to here, I finally get my tastiest pizza sole again. What do I have? missed that.

Delicious pizza, fast service despite the crowds

Ordered at 5:30 PM, receive a confirmation email stating 75 minutes. We thought for a long time, but fine. Waited for 80 minutes, becoming increasingly hangry... After 85 minutes I called again, my friend was 3rd in the queue first. Stuck in the queue for another fifteen minutes. When it is his turn, he is immediately put on hold again. So I called back and was asked if I still had a moment: no. First there was a discussion about whether he could put me on hold, but in the end I reluctantly received the answer that our pizzas were not even in the oven yet. So we canceled it and got a donation from our neighbors 🫣 We will never order here again... I would have just closed the site or called us earlier that unfortunately it wasn't going to work... you wouldn't have lost a customer!

We received 4 free pizzas through a giveaway. Just had a delicious meal! The best cheese pizza! Thank you very much, we know where to find you next time...

I don't know who it is who makes the pizzas there and fixes the spareribs but I know one thing for sure, you guys are great!!! If I could give more stars I would. My daughter normally HATES pizza and yours literally grabs them from my own fingers!! A-MA-ZING!!!

Ordered the calzone chicken satay with garlic sauce! As usual, very tasty. Best pizza I've ever eaten! The delivery person was also very friendly! Even in this rain shower and strong wind.

Just ate another calzone chicken shawarma. An XXL. It tasted so delicious and the calzone was prepared wonderfully crispy! And the garlic sauce is delicious.

I have to say that in recent months the order has never been ready on time.. several times I waited almost an hour in the store for the pizzas, while I was there at the agreed time. Not nice! Hopefully it will change back to how it used to be... And don't forget the tubs of garlic sauce! Very often forgotten..

Delicious food, I order food there regularly.

I almost always get takeout. The pizzas themselves are freshly made, of good quality and not too expensive. Had it delivered once over the weekend on a busy day and they were more than two hours late. The delivery drivers of this company (recognizable by the 'pizza saved my life' sticker on the back) drive very antisocially (running red lights, overtaking on the right, etc.) through the neighborhoods.

Very poor service, incompetent staff and they cannot handle crowds. Every time they come up with this excuse. Tonight, after waiting 1 hour, they casually came to the door to tell us that the pizza we had ordered was gone???? In the meantime, I called them and eventually canceled the order because the chicken had run out? On Saturday evening at 7:00 PM??? Well, that will no longer be an order from this company.

They cannot deal with crowds. Made me wait for 25 minutes. Wrong pizza ended up being made. And not even an apology even though I agreed on an exact time with them. Very bad service!!!

Too bad the order was disappointing this time. Calzone was small and less filling than usual.pizza,s spare were fine. Entire order was lukewarm/warm. The vegetarian lasagna was downright cold. I called about this and the response was very positive... too bad next time hopefully it will be better!

Very good and tasty pizzas. Not just standard pizzas, but how about a pizza spare. That is a pizza with sarerib meat and a bowl of (fresh) garlic. I have to check every time if I still have all my fingers after a meal.

Pizza was tasty. Well prepared with a nice thin base with a crispy edge. It was also delivered exactly as planned. Small point of interest/question from me. I had added a tip online. I wonder how this is distributed among staff. Does the delivery person get this? Delivery person said he didn't get it

I don't understand why their spare ribs are so incredibly good. My search for the best spare ribs in the world ended after my introduction to Pizza Piazza. Don't ever change that recipe! ;-)

Edit: Nicely resolved with the owner!! Unfortunately this was a disappointment, after years of being satisfied. The pizzas were delivered this time, they were bare pizza bases with the toppings in the corner. Worthless. The bottoms have also become a lot thinner than we were used to. Pity :(.

It looks like a community center where everyone is allowed behind the counter. A girl came into the shop to grab some peanut sauce behind the counter, for her little food for home... it couldn't get any crazier!!!

We have been getting pizzas and other dishes here for years (everything is always good and fresh). When picking up/waiting, this place exudes a calmness that you don't often experience at pizzerias. (While everyone works hard). That's also why these 5 stars
