New York Pizza in Wijk 40 Emmen-Centrum

I've been filing a complaint for a month now. I ordered €40 worth of food that wasn't delivered. I ended up picking it up myself. I was treated rudely over the phone. And then there was rotten pineapple on the pizza. The head office also reacted very poorly to the complaint (once and then never again). Nobody seems to care about customer service. This company is an absolute disaster. I will absolutely never order anything from them again.

Staff makes a mistake with the order and I melted down and asked to have it fixed and afterwards he lies that I cursed him and I am aggressively called by the manager and he treats customers badly. It was about me ordering 24 chicken pops and receiving 8. I asked if I would also receive the other 16.

Waited 1 hour for a really bad pizza, the name New York shouldn't be used with this kind of crap

This is truly awful. I received bad pizza three times in a row. Burnt three times in a row, poorly stretched. Too thin in the middle, and the crust was too thick and raw on the inside. Then, the topping was very sparse. And to top it all off, they squirted a fun explosion of hot sauce on top so you can't taste the other shortcomings. And you pay 25 euros for that.

Don't order here! It was terrible. I had to wait two hours for my order and didn't even get any compensation!

What you can expect from a New York Pizza. Friendly young people. And the food was delicious. The burgers were also new to me. A special thanks to the hard-working manager.

With young children, I had to wait almost two hours for a burnt pizza. It was incredibly difficult to get a new one delivered. Apparently, they shove burnt pizzas in a box and then blame the customer for choosing the options they'd given. They also didn't call ahead to suggest a different option. It really dampened a birthday party during a holiday weekend.

Ordered 2 pizzas that were wrong, then called and got some idiot on the phone who hung up. 2nd time again, then spoke to the boss who said he would deduct 15 euros from the 32 and pick up the pizzas 🤣 then after a long wait and regularly lost appetite but got the right pizzas, they have 0 trust in customers. If I were a delivery person, I would stop there immediately. This was not the first incident for us, but it will be the last!!! WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN!!!

Recently we ordered food from New York Pizza for the very last time ever. Unfortunately we had ordered ice cream that was not in stock. When the delivery person came to the door we got different ice cream that my husband and I both did not like and because you pay almost €10 for it we gave it back and on the advice of the delivery person contacted the branch. After hanging on the line for a while we had an agreement that we would get our money back, this would take about 3 working days. A week later still nothing received so we went after it again, another week later still no response so we went after it again. Finally 2 weeks later we finally got contact. We were told that they would give us a free pizza as compensation.. PARDON?! So first they agreed with us that we would get our money back and then not say a word about it. I indicated that I did not agree with that and I have never had a response to that since then... very sad company!!!

With my personal conviction against Halal, I came across the website of "Burger Kitchen" somewhere, where I saw that there is also a branch in Emmen in the same building as NYP. I take no risk and do not order and eat Halal and therefore not at NYP branches anymore.

Worthless place. Ordered via Thuisbezorgd (expected 40 min) at Burger Kitchen Emmen (apparently also done by the restaurant). An hour and a half later I called myself for a status update and it turns out that they had not even started on the order.

We spontaneously looked for a pizzeria and then became aware of this because it was close to our holiday park. We were given a very friendly welcome and great service 😊 We had to wait a few minutes but we were told that when we ordered. We had 4 different pizzas and we thought they were all very good and the kids also enjoyed it. There was also a small present for the children 😀 If we were in the area again we would definitely come back.

45 minutes / 1 hour late with my pizza delivery and also cold, never ordering here again!!! Really not good service for this price

Been waiting for 2 hours, final score, received 1 pizza, which they also forgot, which arrived even earlier than the original order we placed.

Had pizza on Saturday at the location itself. Went to Wildlands and were looking for a good but quick bite in the center of Emmen. Pizza was very tasty and staff very friendly!

They do not deliver on hold, there is another boy working there, you can lie with him and talk well, it was nice to immediately get two tasty pizzas, because nothing is better than New York pizza, very satisfied, but because of that boy.👍👍👍 👍

Just ordered a teriyaki chicken pizza and two American cookies. They didn't have the right cookies, but that can happen and they offered an alternative to this. However, there was a special topping on the pizza, namely a piece of plastic. Unfortunately I cannot add a photo, as it would say 'contrary to our policy'.

Got pizza for the first time, pizza was tasty and ready quickly.

Top crust, that's half of the pizza, or actually 3/4. So win win and another win. 15 stars. But I'm from prime numbers so 17 stars :)

Ordered nachos and literally had a whole jar of tomato sauce poured over them. Almost no cheese. Just not edible. Tomorrow I'm going to demand my money back

Ordered at 5:08 PM, delivery times confirmed for 5:52 PM - 6:07 PM, finally delivered at 6:24 PM. According to the app, pizza was ready from 5:35 PM, which was also noticeable: the pizza was lukewarm/cold. This is very unfortunate

New York pizza Emmen is very bad, dirty and sloppy. When I walk in, everyone sees that right away. I received salami pizza from them for the second time instead of pepperoni, even though I made it clear that we are not allowed to have salami.

Zeer aardig personeel, de pizza's zijn lekker en vind het zeer respectvol dat ze een foto van de desbetreffende scooter rijden die verongelukt is in de zaak hebben staan.

Het smaakte echt weer super goed, zoals altijd. Bezorgtijd was ook perfect. Ga hier zeker vaker bestellen!

Blijft gewoon de lekkerste afhaal pizza, maar de snelheid van het personeel... Ondanks dat het bijna altijd chaos in de zaak is, blijven ze wel altijd vriendelijk. Delivery kan als je geen haast hebt, anders kan je beter de pizza ophalen. Is ook goedkoper trouwens.

Jammer van het personeel. Totaal niet klantvriendelijk. Ipv de naam stond een “ grappige” tekstje..die geen plaats zou moeten vinden. Pizza was best wel lekker.

Pizza van m’n vriend was goed gevuld. Mijn 4 smaken pizza is slecht. De pulled beef amper beleg.. bijna alleen maar saus De pulled chicken zitten wel geteld 3 kleine stukjes chicken op rest allemaal paprika

Ik heb hier deze week besteld en moet zeggen dat het me beter beviel dan verwachtingen, ondanks de drukte werd er tijd voor me gemaakt en voelde ik me niet opgedrongen. Ik had een klacht en er werd echt heel goed geluisterd en heb een mooie tegemoetkoming gekregen. Personeel heeft het gezellig en er hangt een leuke sfeer in de zaak! Echt een aanrader new york pizza emmen!

Jaren lang al klant. Vind de kwaliteit steeds minder worden. Prijzen zijn ook omhoog gedaan. Een tonijnpizza bestaat alleen maar uit rode ui, beetje tonijn en een paar olijven en veel deeg. Vroeger zaten er kappertjes op en waren de pizza's veel beter belegd. Ik noem het nu geen pizza meer. Jammer! . Ga wel op zoek naar een betere concept. Een echte pizzaria is net zo duur.

Jammer dat ze bij new york pizza niet kunnen rekenen. Ik heb 2 pizza's besteld á€12,99 en er was een actie van de 2de pizza voor 2 euro. Nu heb ik geleerd op school dat €12,99 + €2 is €14,99. Komt de bezorger aan de deur die wilde €16.99 ontvangen. Heb ik het hem maar even voorgerekent.

Super leuk en aardig personeel, lekker pizzas en goede service...zeker aan te raden.

Pizza om half 6 online besteld. Ik wilde het om 19:00 uur ophalen. Kom ik aan om 19:00 uur is de pizza nog niet eens gemaakt. Erg jammer dit. Vervolgens nog 20 min gewacht tot hij klaar was. Pizza smaakte wel voortreffelijk. Ze hadden er wel een gratis blikje bij mogen doen wegens het extra wachten waar ik niet blij mee was.

Heerlijke pizza's en een goede service

6 pizza's besteld waaronder 3 4kazen. Dit was echt vies, er zit erg veel tomatensaus op, veel te machtig. De andere pizza's waren ook niet geweldig net als andere filialen. New york pizza is geen aanrader in Emmen.

Zojuist pizza besteld met snackje pizza was goed maar mijn knoflookbrood was nog rauw deeg van binnen helaas weg moeten gooien.. 🥺
