New York Pizza in Wijk 11 Bergschenhoek

It's a shame they forgot the Riggedy Ranch sauce for my Crispy Chicken wings, which were actually very tasty, and my Brooklyn-style pizza tasted just like when I was in New York—really super fresh and nice and hot. Delivery was fast too!

I ordered one small pizza at 6pm. rang twice. First time they said it was still in the oven. Second time they said it would be delivered with the next driver. Didnt receive anything so by 8pm i went to the store, my pizza wasnt even made yet.

What a terrible place!! The pizzas are lukewarm, dry, and absolutely inedible! Delivery time was well over 2.5 hours! Pizzas from the supermarket are 10 times better. Never again New York Pizza for us!

Pizza arrives much too late or simply doesn't arrive at all

Waited an hour and a half for our food, the pizza was cold and the buffalo wings were ruined, definitely not a repeat for us.

Don't order here if you expect your food to arrive at a normal time. I think they make the dough fresh and only start doing so once your order comes in 😍. That's why your pizza arrives about 1.5 to 2 hours after ordering. So only order here if you don't have to go anywhere all evening. Don't call the place because the staff are apparently only there to answer the phone and don't know anything else. Your pizza might be cold and they'll probably forget your drinks or side dishes, but oh well, it is what it is.

We had to wait 1.5 hours, even though it is a 3-minute drive. The food was cold and uncut. We had asked for extra garlic sauce, but the jar was only a quarter full.

For the 3rd time after ordering online at the Bergschenhoek location, after waiting an hour I had to call to follow up and ask where they were. Then they say it is in the oven, but subsequently it takes almost another hour for it to arrive. The pizzas were lukewarm.

Ordered a thick crust, received a thin crust. Reported it by phone and they said, "Yes, sorry, new dough, so it's a bit thinner," and well, no proof, so they can't do anything. Anyway, the pizza wasn't quite finished yet. I mentioned that I would take a photo and send it, and then suddenly there was a 25% discount on a next pizza, but you have to call. Of course, that doesn't work. There are regular promotions with bigger discounts. The price was the same, by the way. But the point is that you get something different than what you ordered.

Saw the same little car racing through Bleiswijk today and yesterday. This gentleman with the cap really needs to be fired immediately. What a dangerous driver this is. Update, just now again. What a rubbish driver. Bouncing over the speed bumps in Bleiswijk.

Pizzas were delivered ice cold. If you call, you get a rude employee on the phone who then hangs up in the middle of the conversation. Pizzas like a frozen pizza, heated up in the oven yourself. First and last time I ordered here.

Home delivery. The gluten-free base is inedible, just cardboard, and there is very little topping on it. Scraped off a bit of topping and threw the base away. NEVER AGAIN, can I get my money back?

DO NOT ORDER! They either don't show up or they're two hours late. Such arrogant and antisocial staff on the phone. They're working because they have to, not because they're interested in helping a customer and fixing their mistake!

During my visit, I saw an employee drop food on the floor and then put it back in the oven. I find this unacceptable and concerning from a food safety perspective. Such situations can pose health risks. The pizzas themselves taste great, but I hope there will be better monitoring of hygiene in the kitchen.

More than an hour late and cold

What a disgusting place. The first time you walk in, you don't even want to eat. Half a dozen employees are milling around, but not a single one of them has any sense of motivation. The moment you walk in, you're simply shown the door. Then they look at each other to see who's the least interested in their work and finally wants to speak to you. An average funeral feels more like a party compared to the atmosphere here. As a franchise owner of this business, I'd be mortified to even mention this. If you're okay with this, do yourself a favor, quit and do something else. Judging by the numerous negative reviews, you have no control over the business. But this is truly heartbreaking. Long story short. If you don't feel like selling anything from your filthy business, we're going back. New York Pizza: I would remove my big name from this facade as quickly as possible and look for an entrepreneur who knows his trade and is passionate about his work.

NYP delivers these kinds of pizzas!! Or at least, it's supposed to look that way. You order a pizza with double the amount of shawarma meat and nothing else. You get a pizza with bacon on it, which you didn't order at all, and which the person doesn't like either. You return to the store and get absolutely no apology or anything. They don't even care. And yet you pay 16 euros for a small 25cm pizza. As a store, you should be ashamed to give something like that to a customer. And that at the ridiculously high prices they charge for a pizza. They've lost my business. I'll go to a real Italian restaurant to get my pizzas from now on.

The food is good, as you'd expect from New York Pizza. Only the delivery is occasionally a problem, and they're often late.

The pizza delivery guy arrived 2 hours late and it was the wrong pizza. Then the pizza delivery guy supposedly went to FaceTime with his boss and then left and I never got my pizza again.

Delicious pizzas, but quite greasy. And it's proving completely impossible to deliver even remotely on time. Unfortunately, this isn't a one-off. Two years later, nothing has changed. Delivery times are out of whack. A few years later: on-time delivery is still impossible. This time, half an hour late.

Ordered pizzas at 6:55 PM. Called at 7:25 PM. They're only just now on their way. The guy says 1.5 to 2 hours is normal when it's busy. Last time I ordered from here.

I ordered pizza over two hours ago. The website says it's been delivered, but I haven't received anything. I tried contacting the restaurant, but they don't answer. After calling several times, they even hang up.

On October 11th, I ordered pizzas from New York Pizza Bergschenhoek. I had to wait over two hours and called twice. The first time, they said: "The pizza is going in the oven now." The second time (after over an hour and a half): "They're coming now." Nonsense! I ended up cycling to the location and ran into the delivery driver on the way. I filed a complaint online, and the response was that it would be forwarded to the location and that they would contact me. I'm still waiting, and it's now October 30th. I strongly advise against ordering from here!

Food came over an hour and a half late, and the veggie pizza that we ordered because we are VEGETARIAN came with chicken Being busy is one thing, but completely messing up a vegetarian pizza is another.

For the second time, it was over two hours late, with no message or anything! The phone wasn't answered. We were sitting there with three small children, waiting for Pete's Snot after a hard day's work. After much frustration, we ordered elsewhere. And just as it was about to be delivered, the delivery driver from NY Pizza showed up, and they sent him away again. All due respect for staff shortages, etc. But then block the order option and CALL YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Ordered another pizza today at 5:50 PM. Normally I'm very satisfied, but this time I'm not. By 7:00 PM, nothing had been delivered. We called, but no one answered. It took until 7:30 PM before someone finally answered. We were told someone would be there in a few minutes. Then they hung up. It was true that the delivery driver would be there within a few minutes; he couldn't find the address. The pizza was lukewarm, of course, but we were so hungry we just ate it.

The pizzas are okay (5.5/10), but more than once I had to wait two hours. If you're craving pizza right now, don't go to New York Pizza. Sad.

I placed an order today at 6:30 PM. Around 7:50 PM, my friend politely called to ask where the order was. They said it was busy, but that the pizzas were now going into the oven and would be delivered soon. The pizzas finally arrived at 8:20 PM – almost two hours after ordering. I decided to call the location. When I explained that we'd waited two hours, the response I got was: "Yeah, nothing I can do about it." When I said I would leave a review about it, I was literally told: "You should do that, bye bye" – after which the call was disconnected. Such customer unfriendliness, on top of the long wait, is reason enough for me not to order from them again.

Good and fast service. Very good quality, and delicious pizzas. Very friendly delivery man.

Food is often fine, usually a bit cold. Always delivered way too late, the app indicates that the order has been completed but sometimes it arrives an hour later than indicated. The phone is then completely ignored unless they need to reach you, then it does.

Ordered a good to go and came to pick it up at a quarter past 9, the pizza I got was stone cold when I said something about it I got another pizza also cold, furthermore they are very rude I did not take any pizza with me, do not get pizza from here kind regards Roos

Pick up the goddamn phone. After 2 hours still no pizza received while home delivery says "almost with you". Called more than 7 times and no one answers that fking phone. Do your job. In any case never order here again. All bullshit

The delivery drivers drive like idiots. Just April 12, just after 8 p.m., I almost got hit with my daughter who was cycling next to me, I was overtaken on the right, this delivery person apparently doesn't know priority rules, shark teeth on the road and I just gave extra gas and narrowly missed... too bad I couldn't see the license plate properly, what an idiot on 2 wheels

Something went wrong with home delivery. This was immediately picked up and resolved by the Newyork pizza employees! Super nice and incredibly friendly!

I placed an order at 5:06 PM for 6:30 PM, living 9 minutes by bike (normal bike) distance according to Google Maps. Delivery will be made at 6:54 PM!?

One of the worst restaurants in this region. Ordered a few times. Always too late when you call they say standard delivery person on the way then you have to wait at least half an hour. Really ridiculous service!

Ordered a large pizza with Garlic Sauce at 5:00 PM. Hours later the cold pizza arrived without sauce. Called and they offered a new pizza with sauce. They just forgot to pass this on to the kitchen so nothing came. After an hour I called again and ordered the pizza again without bacon. Finally received the pizza with sauce at 7:00 PM. Of course with bacon (sigh). We were not offered any compensation for the inconvenience. Hence this review.

Just don't answer, you have paid, you don't get a pizza, but you can order it delivered at home, what a hassle

Ordered a pizza at a quarter past 6 and at 9 o'clock they arrived with two cold pizzas. Maybe it's better to close the store because you're a mockery. Pizzas were immediately thrown into the trash and we ate junk from the Christmas package, which undoubtedly tastes better than what you offer. 2.7 stars and that is an achievement being New York, I think you have the lowest number of stars of all branches. Well done, keep it up. I also reported this to the franchise because this is of course not an advertisement for a great company. This has happened several times now and it's just getting a bit sad, there's even a joke around here that the pizzas really have to come from New York.

Ordered two pizzas on November 9. After just under two hours, we received two cold pizzas. Fortunately* the operator apologized and suggested they bring two new ones. Very small portion for the potato of 5.49, despite delivery nearby (2 streets), it was limp and lukewarm, the same for the chicken nuggets, lukewarm and limp, no more for me..

Ordered pizzas at 5pm and requested delivery at 7pm. Pizzas go out at 7pm "on the way" finally arrive at 7:45pm, cold!!!!!!! Calling, a paltry apology, no initiative whatsoever for a solution. Demanded new pizzas, which arrived after more than 45 minutes, they were warm. In terms of quality, the pizzas are very mediocre, tough, with scant toppings.

Crunchy thin crust 30 cm Margherita ordered via the app. Normal mozzarella gone, buffalo mozzarella doubled up. Pizza turns out to be a Frisbee, with virtually no topping and largely burnt. In short, not edible. Called, but the manager didn't feel like lifting a finger. It was my fault that I left out the mozzarella because it made the pizza burnt and dry. It wasn't important that I was dissatisfied with the end result. A new pizza could just be made, but I had to pick it up myself, because they didn't want to have to pay double for a pizza that had already been delivered. Well, you've lost a customer here.

I see a lot of complaints about delivery times, they should restructure this. I didn't have any problems with the above because I always ordered locally, because the NYP branch affiliated with my zip code is worthless. The pizzas are delicious and the staff friendly. And what is completely a plus point...I saw that the staff uses gloves when preparing the pizzas, in other branches this is not a must🥴
