New York Pizza in Wijk 00 Drachten

What a shame! We waited 40 minutes for two pizzas. The staff just stood around in the kitchen joking around and didn't take our complaints seriously, nor those of others with us. New York Pizza, please fix this! We'll never come back.

Ordering for the family (2 adults and 3 children) at 5:30 PM took a while, but we didn't receive a status update. We called at 6:30 PM and were told they were busy, didn't have enough delivery drivers, and had a malfunction. We could cancel the order or wait another 45 minutes for delivery. That was a bit too long for the kids, so we decided to pick it up instead of having it delivered. This was possible after 30 minutes. At 7:00 PM, we were at the location to pick up the pizzas. They weren't ready yet, so we waited, waited, and waited. We then had to wait another 30 minutes. We kept hearing phone calls. Many more people were waiting and complaining. At 7:30 PM, we could finally get in the car with the pizzas. 2 HOURS LATER! Sorry, but that's really extreme. We love the pizzas, but this is the second time it's taken so long, and this time it's really extreme. With children (one of whom was small) this was really very late.

The last time we ordered pizza from NYP, we had burnt bubbles and very little topping. The topping we did have had sunk to the center because of the bubbles. There was more BBQ sauce than toppings, and two pizzas were practically cold. The thick crust was "thin." We called about this, but he said our complaints were due to a new dough they'd recently started using. In other words, this will be a permanent problem. No apology and no compensation. We just had to make do. You pay a whopping €57 for this.

The pizza is truly excellent, especially compared to other pizzerias in the Netherlands. By local standards, it's very good. That's why I'm giving it five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chicken Parmesan pizza. Just look at the photos I've added. One photo of the pizza on the website and one of how it's delivered. Isn't that just a scam? The pizzas are always half-burned. Yesterday was no exception. Missing ingredients, and when you call, they offer you a new pizza, but then they deliver a smaller one than the one you ordered. Mistake after mistake. And that pizza, as you can see in the photos, barely had any of the ingredients it should have. Shame on you, New York Pizza! They're just winging it. Never ordering from them again.

A fixed time was indicated for the order... at 6:05 PM the order would be delivered... at 6:15 PM in the app the pizza would be delivered... well unfortunately no pizza at that time... at 6:25 PM we called the branch... after 15 minutes on hold before we could report that we hadn't had pizza... the phone call was not very friendly... they said it was very busy... and that the order had already been delivered according to their system... that was at 6:50 PM... they also said our order couldn't be prioritized... and that the pizza delivery person was on his way to bring our pizzas... an apology was not forthcoming... in other words, we won't be placing another order there. So, half an hour later, unfortunately still no pizza... What I think now is that they're no longer delivering pizza and that it now looks more like ........................

Part of my order was unavailable. The fact that a product is unavailable for a restaurant like this is already bad enough and demonstrates low quality, but at the very least, make sure it's no longer available. The establishment's first solution? "You'll get half of the amount you paid for those products back, either in the form of money or a different product." Disgraceful. Won't order from here again!

Bad thing, I ordered pizza Shaorma 40 cm, got the time from 9:35 PM to 9:48 PM, waited until the end of the time. And I thought it could take another 5 to 10 minutes, fine. So as already said, let them deliver a new one and hope that it is faster and good, well no 😮‍💨I also waited 30 minutes for that pizza, they had to make it very quickly at the end of their shift, that was visible 🤢it didn't look slightly burnt and the base was also too thin and there was almost no shaorma on the pizza

Hopeless, really an hour and a half later a pile of almost frozen food arrives, wedges, stone cold, tasteless and limp, the chicken nuggets provided with a difficult to define meat-like mass, which does not even come close to chicken, limp and tasteless and cold, in short downright disgusting and nasty, for 1 sloty still too expensive yuck

We didn't receive the correct pizza, nor the mini calzones. What we did receive was already cold! And then, as a dissatisfied customer, I called the store. I clearly explained why I was extremely dissatisfied with the entire service. But I didn't even get an apology from New York Pizza during that phone call. They have unprofessional staff. New York Pizza in Drachten has lost another customer!!!!

Ordered 2 side dishes from New York Pizza, for 4 euros I didn't even get 10 potato wedges, I also ordered a cinnamon bread for 4 euros, which is super small and half burnt on the inside, not cooked. The icing that came with it was simply spoiled. It also came together in 1 box, so the potato wedges tasted like cinnamon. Super bad business and very unprofessional

1 hour delivery i ordered 20 pieces of wings and 1 garlic bread. wings were cold as a rock and tasted old and frozen . garlic bread was cold and had no garlic on it . delivery guy was nice but the food was disgusting had a stomach ache right after I ate 12 wings threw the rest away.

2 hours and 15 minutes to deliver 2 pizzas is absurd and unacceptable!! The pizzas themselves were also mediocre and not worth waiting that long for, so there was almost more crust than a topped pizza...

Ordered 2 pizzas last week, one of which was missing the chili sauce and the other was missing the garlic sauce, both of which were missing garlic oil on the edge and both pizzas were turned too small, so the dough in the edge was not baked. Then you think it might happen when it's busy, a week later I order another similar order and again little to no chili sauce is put on the pizza, again no oil on the edge and no spring onion either. I won't order from here again.

Placed and paid for my order via the app at 5:30 PM, It is now 2 hours later and we have still not received an order. This is also the last time we order from NY pizza Scandalous!!

Really no words for it. Ordered pizza at 4:30 PM with delivery time between 5:30 PM and 5:45 PM. We had an appointment that evening, so we chose a time slot. 6.15pm no delivery person yet so I called. Order had gone through but it had not yet been prepared. Employee said it could take up to 20 minutes. The pizza was finally delivered at 7 p.m. Then stood at the door for another 15 minutes fiddling with the pin because it didn't work. Then paid via the private account of the delivery person. Because this took so long, the pizza was still cold. What a shame really. New York Pizza NL may want to think carefully about whether they want to keep this franchiser. Shame on such a good name. Ordered here several times in recent years, but something always goes wrong. Pizza itself was very greasy. Not the quality you would expect from NY pizza. Fortunately, I read that we are not the only ones with this experience here. This was really the last time for NY pizza Drachten!

We received the wrong bottom, but it was promptly resolved. Perfect service! and also super tasty pizzas!

Firstly, pizza tasted like cardboard, secondly, the gentleman who sold the pizza had an unfinished haircut, thirdly, you pay €13 for pizza that is no bigger than a bicycle saddle.

I was literally delivered half a “pizza”, or well, leftover dough and some leftover toppings that seemed to have been thrown into the box. Truly bizarre and never experienced anything like this before. The East Indian deaf delivery boy didn't know how quickly to get away. A big middle finger because I order a few minutes before closing time? Just like you always close the store when it suits you? Is it that difficult? Delivery scheduled for 5:00 PM. But called at 5.20 pm to find out where the pizza was... it was on its way. Pizza arrived at 5:30 PM, then a pizza that was inferior to a frozen pizza from the supermarket... The same pizza was of better quality a few months ago. Hope something is done with it...

Thin & Crispy turns out to be one big blubber base, far from cooked 🤮 and this was not😡 the 1st time but for us it is the last time we will ever order anything again. Never never again!!😡

Pizza almost no topping...but way too much sauce!! Nacho's chicken, the chicken had flown over it hahaa, half of it was burnt/black!! That for €8.99, not for us again. The tent is run exclusively by children, half of whom don't know what to do. Maybe have someone a little older monitor the quality!

I was going to order here, but I walked past the business today and then I see the staff just sitting on the tables where my pizza will be prepared later, I thank you for this kind of behavior in a catering business.

Ordered 2 pizzas tonight at 6:09 PM, they were delivered at 7:50 PM and were cold. I contacted them and 30 minutes later I would receive 2 new pizzas and 2 cookies as compensation. Satisfied with this solution, however, the 2 cookies were not included and the pizzas were lukewarm. Previously always very satisfied, but lately it has not been good. No more New York Pizza for me!!!

Very nice bread with toppings. But not pizza. And even more outrageous versions than normal like Sharwarma pizza and the like. Are you from The Big Apple and expect to get pizza? Go somewhere else..

Pizza was best goed , bezorging redelijk vlot. En de bezorger dikke prima. Alleen beetje jammer, dat je de keus krijt om ingrediënten toe te voegen. Je dat vervolgens doet en ze er niet opzitten. En dan is het nog niet eens die euro die je onnodig extra betaald. Maar het feit dat je je op iets lekkers verheugt! Maar dat het dan toch een teleurstelling is, want dat wat de pizza extra lekker had moeten maken ontbreekt! En dit was niet de eerste keer!

Fijne service, wc papier was op, komen ze brengen, klinkt misschien raar, maar wel heel fijn als je het nodig hebt! Bedankt!

Wel lang wachten 31 minuten op 1 pizza. Gaan ze elf uur sluiten zit je daar om zeven uur, gaan ze al stofzuigen. Raar hoor
