New York Pizza in Burgwallen-Oude Zijde

Delicious pizza! Generous slice! Simple and tasty. I always say that when I go back to Amsterdam I'll eat a slice of this pizza; it's stuck in my memory. Very good!

Absolutely incredible. So friendly and 10/10 pizza. Will be returning. 👍

This place does have the new york vibe of a middle of the night pizza quick bite. However it was different than an actual new york pizza, it was a great choice for something after midnight.

All their pizza is halal except for the shawarma. The person named Ahmed told us about it; he was very nice and had a great attitude.

Chef Ahmed, a Palestinian, makes delicious pizza.

It's a good option for an economical meal; they heat up their own pizzas and serve them self-service.

Good atmosphere and staff, but pica slices are overcooked, if you want a pica that gives some pleasure, pass this place. 5 eu for a slice is way too expensive for what you get.

Food, service and atmosphere 5/5

Best pizza in Town and I know what I am talking about!!!

Quick service good price but the taste is OK ok

Good for a takeout pizza. Extremely friendly service

The pizza was okay, but it was obvious that the staff were rushing to clean up. My friend was refused access to the restroom, which I found completely unacceptable. I asked if I could wash my hands and was taken to the kitchen, where there weren’t even any paper towels available to dry them. Overall, a very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

Very delicious pizza , quick service affordable prices

My one stop place for late night snack in dam! The staff there last weekend were a step above! Friendly, excited, great atmosphere!

The guy who served us was really kind and friendly, but I don't know his name, every time I go back to Amsterdam I come for the pizza with sweet sauce chicken

It was tasty, price is cheap. Highly recommended.

Halal pizzeria, not the best pizzas but the pepperoni is good.

The guy from there gave me a cold pizza

Food was OK, just reheated pizza, toilets were shambolic

Great service, great owner, great Pizza.

A bit pricey, but the best chicken schwarma pizza I've ever had!

We’ve always loved New York–style pizza and have been regular customers here, but our most recent visit was extremely disappointing. The owner allows heavily intoxicated people to stay inside, with little regard for customer safety. We were a group of five and were actually confronted by a very drunk individual. He approached us asking for a slice, and when we didn’t engage, he threw an entire can of alcohol at us. What was even more concerning was the staff’s response. When we reported the incident, the owner and helper showed little interest in addressing the situation, despite other customers confirming that we hadn’t provoked him and that he had bothered others as well. The owner claimed there was nothing he could do and even refused to replace our pizza. When other customers insisted we deserved a replacement, he dismissively said that since we had four slices left, we could just take four new ones—as if that was an acceptable resolution. Because of this experience, we won’t be returning. It’s a shame, because we genuinely enjoy the chain’s pizza, but the lack of concern for customer safety and service is unacceptable.

Perfect late night snack… everything is halal

The pizzas are good and tasty, but not exceptional. They can be cloying because of the excessive cheese. The staff is rather unpleasant and barely interacts with customers.

8 Euros for a slice of pizza and a water 🤔

Good pizzas and nice sitting but bad client service. Stuff rude, toilets for extra money even if one paid for the food.

Been coming to this pizza shop for years now, was last there in December. Food amazing, staff always cheery and helpful and polite.

Delicious Pepperoni Pizza. Visited February 8, 2026.

We arrived ar 3:25. Closure was mentioned at 4:00. NYpizza was closed, very very disappointed as we were passionate about eating a crusty pizza. So sad☹️☹️☹️

Delicious experience at New York Pizza. It felt like New York-style pizza, and I know what I'm talking about because I'm Italian, hehe.

Really good pizza. Good size slice with a good assortment

Good spot for a quick bite of pizza. Many options for 5 EUR. Perfect for a takeaway lunch while sightseeing.

incredibly rude worst service ever! i politely asked for a specific slice of pizza (the one he grabbed me had noticeably less toppings) and the owner yelled at me. do NOT go here!!!!

Not sure why, but the pizza here taste better than all the other chain shops we have tried. Slice was actually nice, give it a try.

Pizza always nice out of nyp. Also good for a few slices from 1 of the smaller places in the city

Great pizza went back for seconds. Server was welcoming and great humour

The best pizzas for a quick and cheap meal.

The pepperoni pizza is delicious; we've eaten pizza from here several times and it's never disappointed. The guys who serve are super friendly.

The place is very filthy and there was hardly any sauce on the pizza. It used to be much better years ago. My next trip to Amsterdam doesn't include this joint and I will go somewhere else

Bad-tasting, dry and expensive pizza slice. Staff is respectful and bathroom is clean.

The pizza is AMAZING, the best in the area. The service is exquisite and unbeatable. George treated us like family. Highly, highly recommended.

I asked them about halal pizza. A respectable man, who appeared to be Syrian, told me it was halal and was about to take some halal products out of the refrigerator. I said, "No, your word is enough, God willing." I told him to choose whatever he liked, and he gave me salami and shawarma, both of which tasted good. Note: When I went back to order again, I found the refrigerator on the right as you enter the shop was full of beer. So, if the shop owner wants to increase his sales and please God, he should remove the beer from the shop and write "halal" if he is truly Muslim. God is the Self-Sufficient, so why doesn't he write "halal" on the shop's facade? I hope I have conveyed some information about him. God is Most High and All-Knowing. Glory be to Him, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad, peace be upon him. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, the One, the Unique, without partner.

Excellent, quick service and delicious pizza, special mention for the pepperoni. Perhaps a little pricey but I recommend it.

For those with a strong stomach... 2 are enough to start. Top pizza 👍

I've been coming to this location for years. They always have the best fresh selection of pizza slices. Small seating area but easy enough to carry out. The staff is English speaking and very friendly. This is my go to slice spot anytime of the day or night.

Took away some pizzas from this place as we were tired from our travels. The staff were nice and friendly, and heated up our food for us promptly. We were pleasantly surprised by the good pizza.

We had the family deal with pepperoni pizza. Great choice! Excellent pizza that even though we said between us that we eat half and take the other half home - it was so good that we finished it right there... Don't miss it.

Good simple pizza for those that wants their pizza to get ready fast!

Alright for a quick slice of pizza but nothing special. Quite expensive for what itis.

I’ve been here twice, and everything was quick and very delicious.

The pizza isn't bad, and they're open late, but the staff always seem annoyed with every customer.

10/10 for a quick munch on the go. Pizza taste great and service is very quick.

Takeout pizza very different from what we're used to in Italy and different from Neapolitan pizza. Elaborate and full of ingredients, when the beauty of pizza lies in its simplicity. A little tomato and a little mozzarella, but no decent dough with lots of ingredients on top. Still, not bad.

It was a slice of pizza. The cheeses were very delicious. The piri piri chicken was also delicious.

The pizzas weren't good. I ordered a four-cheese pizza, it had no taste, and at €4.50 for a slice, it was a complete rip-off…

Amazing place ! Over all concerp is good that they do sale pizza in slices and on order full pizza We had requested to prepare free pizza as we are multiple people trust me taste is superb. Really like the taste of pizza here along with place next to this shop.

I tried the margarita, it was very delicious and hot.

Delicious pizza, the employee is honest and explains everything, whether we can take it or not. All the employees are awesome and honest, and the taste is excellent. The dough is nice, and the pizza tastes as it should be.

Decent pizza for the Netherlands (no offense, I love your country). Reminded me of a papa John's type pizza. It does the job if you're hungry. I got it delivered and it arrived fast and was still warm

Very delicious, deserves the best pizza in Holland

A unique experience One slice of pizza is enough for one person because it's large.

The pizza is delicious, crunchy, and light. I ordered the loaded pepperoni and peri-peri chicken. They were all delicious.

They make amazing pizzas, I highly recommend it.

For the EU the Pizza was very good 7/10, for New York it was 4/10, like the pizza place that you only go to for convenience when others are closed

Unfortunately, I can't say how it tastes, but I'd still advise against it. For a pizza shop (open until 4:00 a.m.) to no longer be able to offer or prepare tonno and hawaii at 8:00 p.m. is beyond bad! And the finished pizzas in the display didn't look particularly remarkable either (relatively light on toppings). If you're looking for good pizza, you'd better go to another place!

Delicious slices of fresh pizza. Warm and ready in 2 mins.

We receice discount ticket from our hotel For come est Here . When we arrive , they told us , they don’t use that … give us excuse to not take it because they don’t have machine for scan the QR code . So why that people make publicity for discount and don’t use it . It’s call fasse publicity. The pizza was good ans the Price too but need honor the discount They know we Will not comeback It’s whrite the discount is until 2026

Update: The pizza is still tasty, but the quality has dropped a little. Unfortunately, the seller handles the pizza with the same hands used for money, which doesn’t feel very hygienic. Also, pizzas later in the day tend to be a bit dry. Last year (before update): Amazing pizza, super friendly personnel. We were there many times and always the same great atmosphere! Absolutely recommend!

American-style pizza fast food, you can’t really really expect high quality or whatever but the taste is good

Very delicious pizza and the employee tells you what is permissible and what is not.

Decent stop for a slice *Revisited in Oct 2024 and the staff messed up the order, blamed us and got angry when proven wrong. Thankfully was resolved, corrected and they also gave us a free slice. Need a better system to manage orders folks. *Revisited again Sept 25 and got a Korean bbq slice, delicious and no issues with orders this time.

Simply terrible. I would never recommend eating here. We arrived late and were looking for something. My husband got a piece, and I decided to go to bed hungry that night.

Thanks to Santiago, he is a really professional and makes the place worm by his joy ! Thanks to you guys !

Worth to go.. tasty and underpriced

We just tried a slice of pizza. It was good 😊

Avoid, unpleasant server, expensive for the quality and the prices are not the same as on the site.

7€ for 2 hot dogs, nothing more to say.

Perfect for a quick snack, tasty and reasonably priced slices. Seating is clean/ comfy and they are open till late.

I tried the Margherita pizza, it was very delicious.

Small restaurant with a variety of pizza slices. Very tasty, reasonably priced, and great for takeaway.

Went there last night, best food so far since I have been there. Simple cheese pizza.

Best pizzas in Amsterdam!! Highly recomend to visit and eat there. Prices are perfect (the sizes are big). Also the guy who attends is veeery kind, fast and professional.

One of the best places to have pizzas. Love it

One of the best vegan pizzas in Amsterdam

The pizza was absolutely amazing. We ordered online and got the 2 for 1 deal.

The cashier with the hat and long curly hair was very nice and friendly. I really appreciate that 🙏 The pizza was also good.

Decent pizza slices with vegetarian options! This is a quick-bite option as the huge pizzas are prepared in advance and the staff just tosses the slices you want in the oven. Friendly staff 👍🏻

Fresh, clean and crispy!! €5 for a nice sized single slice of pizza served pronto

Pizza Restaurant In the city center Cleanliness 100/100 Taste 100/100 Ambience 100/100 Prices are good for a tourist location The staff are very respectful, polite, and very helpful with customers This place offers halal food for Muslims I recommend trying it... The restaurant is open late at night I hope you have a great time

I was a few euros short, I just got a discount. VERY TOP!

From saudi arabia 🇸🇦 Tried the sweet chicken pizza at NYP Damstraat – crispy, flavorful, and unforgettable! A must-try in Amsterdam.

I got a few slices from this pizza takeaway. The pizza slices were very delicious, but I genuinely didn’t like the fact that the bathroom door could not be locked. Shockingly the slices were very price friendly.

One of the best Pepperoni Pizza i have ever ate 🤌

The service was terrible, the atmosphere was awful, and worst of all, the pizzas were extremely expensive and tasted horrible. Have some self-respect and don’t eat at this place.

i can’t lie i usually lieb fancy food and all but this slapped, like a better dominos :)

The pizza and garlic bread are tasty, just a little expensive

Ordered wings and the older staff gave a free side of garlic sauce (worth 1 euro). Their toilet was for customers only but saw the guy make an exception for a tourist that really needed to use it. He was incredibly nice to all the customers as well. Hope business is good because the service is on point! Wings with the garlic sauce were decent :)

A place with average pizzas. That it is so popular. I think the reason is that it has many branches. There were sliced pizzerias with better prices and better pizzas. Still not bad.

Great Pizza. Amazing customer service by some very great guys. Highly recommend.

Love the pizza! Slight chew to the crust! Great service behind the counter!
