We are on a city trip in Rotterdam and my friend's daughter wanted an ice cream. After some research we found Nino's salon. Very warm welcome, plenty of choice between ice cream with milk or ice cream without milk. The jokes during the order were great and the taste of the ice cream made it complete. Nino makes ice cream in an authentic Italian way, so you immediately feel like you're on holiday.

As an Italian working in the food industry it's hard to find satisfying gelato outside of my home country but here I finally found a pocket of Italy in Rotterdam, where I can finally get very high quality ice cream, very happy, bravissimo.

We've been there before, so we had a look yesterday and brought an ice cream. And still one of the best!

Deze ijssalon heeft de lekkerste ijs van Rotterdam. Goed van smaak. Veel keuze. Je bekertje wordt royaal gevuld. Maakt al z'n ijs zelf. Wil je de ijs meenemen krijg je een handig tasje mee.

17/07/2024 Het is zorgwekkend dat de relevante instanties toestaan dat zo'n onsociaal persoon daar werkt. Gisteren was ik met mijn kind in zijn winkel. Hij was erg nerveus en maakte seksistische gebaren in het bijzijn van kinderen. Ik vermoed dat hij een pedofiel is. Er moeten dringend maatregelen worden genomen tegen deze gevaarlijke man. Onze kinderen komen daar, maar hun veiligheid is in gevaar. Hij is een sensuele maniak.

SUPER NICE PLACE!!! Nice man, gives nice big scoops of lactose-free ice cream! You don't see that very often and there are so many choices and the taste is abnormal, if you happen to be nearby, drop by Nino and have a nice ice cream.

Really good Ice-cream (specially pistache) and very friendly owner!

I visited this place hoping to buy an ice cream but unfortunately the service here was disappointing. The owner was rude and unfriendly which spoiled my experience. I ended up getting ice cream elsewhere due to the unpleasant treatment here.

There are two reasons why to appreciate Nino’s ice cream: 1. The authentic artisanal taste of his products, the creamy consistency, the high quality and the vast variety. Even in Italy it is hard to find such a wide selection of tastes, combined with a regular rotating special taste. 2. The typical Italian warm welcoming. Nino knows how to deal with his guests and makes you keep coming back. Last, but not least, a delicious espresso.

Voor de tweede keer sta ik hier nou, vrijdag 4 augustus 2023. Heerlijk ijs en ook een vriendelijke en sociale Italiaanse man. We zitten hier al een half uur te babbelen en ga ze telefoonnummer pakken zo. Omdat ik naar Italie wil gaan en hij me wat adviezen ga geven. Ijs is een 10 waard.

Ik heb inmiddels alle ijssalons in Rotterdam wel gezien, maar Nino spant de kroon. Fantastisch ijs, geweldige stevige structuur en je ruikt het vers fruit. Nino is ook niet gierig, geen afgepaste bolletjes en geen extra kosten voor zogenaamde premium smaken (vanille en pistache) zoals de IJssalon op de Meent rekent. Als je bij Nino bent geweest ga je nergens anders meer heen, althans niet in Rotterdam.

This is the best ice cream shop I've ever been to. The owner is the sweetest man, always trying to spark a friendly conversation. The price is very fair, only 1.80 for a big scoop in a paper cup or a cone. Mokka is my favorite flavor so far. The comfy atmosphere makes me want to come back and try more.

Het ijs is wel lekker maar fantasieloos uitgestald en er is weinig keus. Jammer dat met koud weer de deur wagenwijd open staat waardoor het binnen niet bepaald aangenaam is... De bediening is wel ok

De kwaliteit van het ijs is buitengewoon. Ik kom zelf geregeld in Italië en neem daar ook wel een ijsje maar ik vind het ijs van nino nog beter. Op zich ook logisch met 85 jaar ervaring!

Lekker ijs en ruime keuze in smaken. Winkel is klein maar niet té klein. Vriendelijke eigenaar die je behandeld op de manier waarop jij hem behandeld. Kom er regelmatig en graag. :) Tot de volgende keer!

Beste ijssalon die ik ken in Rotterdam!! Zowel ik als mijn kinderen zijn hier gek op!! Genoeg ijs soorten en een hele vriendelijke eigenaar! ze moeten meerdere van dit soort ijssalons hebben :)

Lekkere ijsjes, de slagroom is luchtig en smaakvol zoals het hoort! Authentiek en een begrip in Rotterdam!

De beste ijszaak van R'dam zuid, zo niet de beste van heel Rotterdam. Klein familie zaakje, maar zoveel keuze in smaken. Met een mooi onderscheid tussen de frisse fruitsmaken in het ene display en volle warme smaken in de ander. De eigenaar heeft duidelijk passie voor zijn vak en ik hoop dat hij het nog lang blijft doen. Let alleen even op wanneer het marktdag is, dan is OV of met de fiets de beste om even langs te gaan.

Beste ijssalon van Rotterdam, veel smaken, ook hele bijzondere zodat je elke keer weer een andere smaak wil proberen. Het pistache-ijs is het beste pistache-ijs wat we ooit ergens gegeten hebben: puur pistache en dat proef je! :) Zeer vriendelijke service ook!

Zoveel smaken! En méér dan de helft is sorbet. Echt niet te geloven, erg lekker ook allemaal.

Obsługa przeciętna, ale do przyjęcia - chociaż jeśli wycenia się awoje lody tak wysoko to i należałoby też równie ambitnie podchodzić do jakości obsługi :) Ale najważniejsze to lody a te są mocno przeciętne - zjadłem czekoladowe, konsystencja nie jest najgorsza (chociaż do włoskich lodów im daleko), ale najgorszy jest smak a właściwie jego brak. Po prostu jeśli w czekoladowych lodach brakuje smaku czekolady to coś jest nie tak.

De eigenaar is arrogant en gedraagt zich uitermate respectloos tegenover zijn klanten. Hij pikt vooral mensen met een migratie achtergrond uit en gaat ze afzeiken. Echt niet normaal?! Hij spoort echt niet. De toon die hij opzet is letterlijk: "kan je niet rekenen? 2 +2 is... schande en zo jammer in een buurt waar iedereen heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam is tegenover elkaar!
