we were ordering salad twice and it never came the service is not friendly honey cake and aubergine caviar were tasty, kebab or shashlik not really music sometimes is too intense

Together with my husband , we had a lovely dinner. We were seated at a table for two between other tables of two. A cozy atmosphere with live music, too loud in my opinion, difficult to hold a discussion with your dinner partner. We ordered drinks, hummus and the traditional bean and walnut salad to start and we both ordered the slow cooked lamb shank for the main meal. Friendly service .

The restaurant's food was fantastic. I had delicious vegetarian dishes: vegetable balls with spinach, carrots, and beetroot with nuts, and eggplant rolls. Khachapuri with egg. My table companions had a chicken dish, a meat dish, and a pastry dish with soup inside, which they said was delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't have room for the homemade dessert (baklava), so next time I'll save some room!

Honestly, we waited an hour to be served, even though there were only two of us. We were served 15 minutes before closing time, and we were practically rushed to eat, pay, and leave. It's such a shame because the food is good, but the atmosphere is terrible.

We came on a recommendation. The food—Caucasian food can be better. The khinkali and khachapuri were not good 🤬 Service—we waited 20 minutes for the menu, but otherwise the waiters served promptly. Atmosphere—the tables were very close together, noisy. But the worst thing was the singer!!! Squealing, howling, not a single note on the scale—absolutely torture. Our grandmother's blood pressure went up 😎. Never again.

We had an amazing dinner with my colleague here, enjoying delicious food, nice service and pleasant atmosphere! Here, you can try fresh, high-quality and authentic Armenian and Georgian cuisine. We had eggplant caviar, dolma and pork BBQ grilled on an open fire. For the dessert, we have preferred Armenian baklava and coffee. Baklava is beyond our expectations - a piece of heaven full of honey and walnuts. The Armenian pomegranate wine by Gevorkyan Winery was incredible and will nicely surprise wine lovers. Friendly, professional and highly knowledgeable host (sorry, I don't know her name) will guide you and keep an eye on your order at all times to ensure your pleasant evening. Overall, this place is highly recommended!

I went there for a team dinner and it was the best team dinner I ever had in the past few years! Every dish was so tasty and the portion was generous. The environment was also very nice. The restaurant looked very fancy and the staff were super friendly. I would definitely go there again!

Open on Google maps, but on arrival were told by a very rude lady that it was closed for a private party. She told us we "should have looked on Instagram". Not everyone has instagram or uses it!

Went to this restaurant for the first time. It was completely unfamiliar to us. We ordered the typical dumplings. The ground meat in the dumplings had quite a bit of cilantro. My wife and I both have the gene that makes them taste like soap. The restaurant gave us the pork as compensation, and we were allowed to take the dumplings home to give away. Great service and a polite solution. So be sure to check if they have anything without cilantro!

Overall evaluation: 5.75/6 - more than very good - Price - quality ratio: excellent - service: excellent. Especially one person give the guests the right attention and hints on the menu - Food quality: very good - Atmosphere: first impression a bit confusing - new building but normal/classic restaurant style. Maybe it can improved somehow (?). The last point is however a tiny detail, I recommend this very good restaurant!

The perfect experience when you want to eat well and feel comfortable. We went for the first time today (it won't be the last) because the food in the photographs looked good, but both the food and the service exceeded our expectations. Ruzanna (sorry if that's not how to spell it) was a wonderful hostess, very attentive and friendly, and she made the perfect selection of dishes and wine for us. We are very grateful for everything and hope to return soon.

The dolmas and the chicken were really good but four other dishes we ordered were okish and the fries we got served were not really fried (in our opinion). The lovely waitress offered us new fries, we declined so she offered to deduct them from the bill. We thought that was great service untill the manager came with the bill including fries, when we mentioned this she said she was the manager and the only one who could decide this. And she wasn't informed unfortunately so it could not be deducted. We were surprised but paid anyways. Our obvious disappointment and discontent must have convinced her to start arguing with us, since she had tried the fries herself and thought they were fried enough (strange, since she earlier stated not to be informed of the situation). The 'argument' continued way too long after the bill was already paid. After 5 minutes there was an awkward sorry but it was a bizarre situation over some 4.50 fries. If you want to be surprised by mediocre fries and pointless arguments, this is your place to be! The waitress was lovely though and even came outside after we left to apologize to us! Without her this wouldve been a 1-star review.

Unbelievably delicious food. The khachapuri was addicting as well as the assortment of pickled vegetables. Also the biggest and tastiest khinkali we’ve found in Amsterdam.

We visited this restaurant earlier in the summer for a birthday, and everything was great back then. Unfortunately, this time the service was very slow and the khinkali were quite disappointing – the dough was too thick and stuck to the teeth. We were here last week. A wonderful restaurant with welcoming staff. I especially want to mention the khinkali—they're simply delicious! The dough is tender and thin, the filling is flavorful and rich, and the broth inside is mind-blowing. I tried to take a photo of the juices, but the steam didn't really capture it. 🙈 We were in Georgia in the summer and didn't even try them there. I also recommend the shashlik, khachapuri, and pkhali (vegans will love them). I'll definitely be back! P.S. We came here again and were disappointed this time. What's wrong with your khinkali? We came here from Alkmaar because of them, but this time it was a fiasco. 😢, please fix it. 🙏🙏

Food was delicious, but service was very, very slow. I waited close to an hour for a single dish. Nearby tables who had ordered after me received (and finished!) multiple of the same dish I ordered before my order arrived.

Food is good but service is very bad. We ordered khachapuri first and khinkali. They served first khachapuri and then waited for a long time khinkali, but they never arrived. We asked the waiter and they forgot the order. The "funny" thing is that they were there in the bill.

The food here is absolutely delicious, everything we tried blew our minds, but what is really unmissible is the Arnenian Pakhlava, really the best dessert i had in my whole trip. Today I was with a group in this cafe, it doesn't smell like a restaurant! We waited 40 minutes for our order, it was delicious, that's the only plus! The service is a complete zero, management should pay attention to this, the girl punched our check incorrectly, and when I commented, she said, let me give you something for this amount?! Your mistake and you should at least apologize ... I would recommend a cafe with delicious food, but after an unpleasant incident, no 👎

This isn't our first time here, and it's always been one of our favorite places. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time. The khinkali, which used to be delicious and beautifully prepared, were now truly subpar: thick, coarse dough, completely flavorless. Such a shame! I wouldn't recommend khinkali here again.

Yesterday, we enjoyed two delicious meat dishes with our guests. They were very tasty. Just like the two previous times, the welcome was very friendly and welcoming. And everyone was extremely hospitable. The Armenian "Karas" wine was of good quality. In short, a very fine restaurant visit, and we will definitely return. We will also definitely recommend this restaurant to our clients.

The best place to try real Caucasian cuisine (most of all Armenian & Georgian) in Amsterdam. Yummy dishes with the high quality and fresh products. Service is very good, host and waiters are very polite and the cook is the best of the best 👌👌👌Place is very spacious, bright and atmospheric, they have also tables outside who prefer open air places.

We were here twice The first time it wasn't that bad, delicious food, service not so good, there was a slight feeling that the waiters were talking to each other like friends, but they didn't pay much attention to it, they were busy with something else The second time the staff behaved as they wanted. Not trying to help us as visitors. I ask the administration to pay attention to this, give your waiters detailed instructions on how to behave with the client, so that they do everything as befits a restaurant. Because now your staff decides how to serve someone based on their mood and not on the rules. We would go here because of the delicious food, but the service is really lacking, when you come to a restaurant you want to feel comfortable, unfortunately in this place no one will care about your comfort. So, there was a feeling that we came to a roadside cafe.

We booked a table for my husband's birthday, we were offered to sit near the bar counter, where waiters are always standing. It is uncomfortable because people are just standing above you and you can hear all your conversations) We asked to sit at a table near the window (it was free and not reserved) To which we were refused twice) We turned around and left, thank you for the ruined evening, because now on Friday evening we need to find a place where we can sit and celebrate) A huge mistake by the waiter) You never know how much money a guest will leave, to whom you did not show the service. Unfortunately, tasty food is not enough to be called a restaurant) With such service, this is not a restaurant and I do not recommend anyone to visit this place)

It was my first time trying Armenian cuisine, and I can confidently say I’ll be coming back again. In the Netherlands, it’s not always easy to find a place that combines high-quality food, friendly service, and reasonable prices, so this restaurant truly stands out. Our waitress spoke Spanish, which made the experience even more personal. She was very kind, efficient, and gave us great recommendations. A place definitely worth visiting!

I had a very disappointing experience at NOAH Lieven. First of all, the service was incredibly slow. I ordered a simple meal – a portion of fries with Chapichurri, Gachapuri, and a shashlik – and it took over an hour before the food finally arrived. That’s completely unacceptable for this kind of order. Even the drinks were slow. I ordered just a Coca-Cola and a Fanta, and it still took around 10 minutes before they were served. By the time everything came, I had already lost my appetite. The waiting times completely ruined the experience for me, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for decent service.

Came here with a friend because we wanted to try something new, and this place did not disappoint! I got the chicken soup and dolma, and my friend had the chicken kebab—everything was super tasty and full of flavor. The staff was really friendly and made us feel welcome, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. We’ll definitely be back, and I’ve got my eye on the soup dumplings for next time!

We discovered this restaurant by chance, not far from our hotel. The food was delicious. The service was very attentive. We didn't get our hummus as an appetizer, but with our kebab. This mistake turned out to be a stroke of luck, as the combination was perfect. The honey cake was divine. We just wanted to try it, and it was no problem getting dessert with three forks. The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday evening, which made it a bit noisy. Overall, highly recommended.

So,was looking forward to visit the restaurant, which turned out to be the biggest disappointment unfortunately 😕. Shashlik was very dry, didn't taste like it should be, also khinkaly was too thick and not the best what you acspect. Sorry, but I know what I am talking about, because I'm originally from north Caucasus and I know the dishes well enough, also live long enough to know the standards of the EU. For my complaints the stuff didn't reacted as they should be... they so our plates with the amount of leftovers.... Shame on you. 58€ was just spended on nothing without any compensation.

Great to have a spot like this in Amsterdam where you can try both Armenian and Georgian food, but unfortunately, the food missed the mark. The khinkali were overcooked, with all the juice leaking out through holes in the dough, definitely not how khinkali should be served (especially at €12 for just three leaky ones). The khachapuri was alright, but not very dippable, with only a small amount of filling inside. There's definitely room for improvement.

As a Turkish I really enjoyed cuisine of our neighbour. I especially recommend trying the thyme tea which is amazing. I couldn’t try the pahlava because it was sold out but I will come back to try it! Also dont forget to try the Armenian wine! Ps: service was perfectly fast and nice. Thanks to the staff.

A charming place, the food was excellent, but Ruxana's service was undoubtedly the best. She explained all the dishes to us in great detail, and in perfect Spanish.

If you want to eat well and receive exceptional service, this is your place. The quality of the food is very good, we'll definitely come back. If you're in Amsterdam, it's a must-visit.

Highly recommend this place, I try and stop by at least 2/3 times a month to get my favorite dish khinkali!

Small portions of food and €2 for a small container of mayonnaise? They use a lot of cilantro, which isn't listed on the menu. Much of the food is also ready-made, like the salads (from Albert Heijn).
