Just had a nice lunch and it was lovely to spend time on the terrace.

No staff came out to take our order, and the pace inside is extremely slow. The bites are overpriced. 18 euros for mediocre nachos and gyoza with mayonnaise and some kind of curry sauce? Overall, I wouldn't go here again.

A really lovely place to end a great day of sightseeing. The view is superb, the atmosphere is very friendly, the service is welcoming, and the Aperol Spritz is very well made. What more could you ask for? 😉

the regular staff were extremely kind, however the manager is another story... My partner and I came in for a coffee, and after 40min we asked a waiter if we could study with our computers. He said it was no problem since the place was not busy. After 15min the manager comes to us and asks if we want another drink, and we declined politely (my cup of coffee was still half full). He then said rudely that we had been here already for 2h (not true) and studying with our computers without ordering more was not okay, and then left. I checked the Google reviews and it seems that there is a pattern for this person to treat non-dutch students a certain way.... Very unprofessional and unsettling.

Amazing pub and restaurant on the top floor of a landmarks building in the city center of Groningen. 5⭐

Had a nice meal here with a few colleagues; the menu looked promising for a tasty bite as a vegan. Vegan mustard soup: nothing special, but fine. Vegan burger: there was no burger sauce on it; anything non-vegan is simply omitted, and they call that 'vegan possible'. Mango mochi: "with passion fruit vinaigrette, coconut foam, meringue, and pandan spekkoek." The mochi was tasty, but the meringue and spekkoek were simply left out. So it was a mochi with a dollop of coconut foam on passion fruit vinaigrette; you pay the full price of €9.50 for that, which I find outrageous for a stripped-down version of a normal dessert. The waiter was friendly, but very incompetent and awkward. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was fine, though, and the view was naturally beautiful. Still, you won't find me here again.

Food is great and view is nice.

The portion of risotto was too small for a main course. We were still hungry after the meal. I would not recommend this place. The dessert was also very small considering the price. The burgers looked good, though. And there is a beautiful view over Groningen and the Martini Tower. Reserve in advance for a nice spot. Nice place to have a drink.

Had lunch at NOK. A beautiful location with a great view of the Martini Tower — a real plus. We found the value for money to be less strong: you are clearly paying for the location, but the food itself was quite average and a bit on the meager side. The service was friendly and welcoming, although it could have been a bit more proactive. A positive point, however, was that the food was served quickly. All in all, a fine spot for the view and the ambiance, but not particularly special culinarily.

The location is fantastic, but I think that is also the only reason why people... the food is just not good, the location is poorly maintained, it is dirty everywhere, mirrors with greasy fingerprints on them, toilets are not super clean. It is a bit messy everywhere, the staff is very young and that is good, but then you have to train them properly. And that just hasn't happened, they just don't know what they want. What they do, they hold the cup by the top, so with their fingers, which just isn't supposed to be done. And there are a lot of things that just aren't right and that is a shame, because with the same energy they could get much more out of it and create a much better atmosphere. It. Is now mainly the location and the height and that you can look out over Groningen. The reason why people go there and to have a drink, but again, they could get much more out of it and reach a much higher level for the same price, and the same energy but I don't think that is going to happen because there is a lot of staff turnover and that is a good sign anyway. It is a shame, because it is a beautiful location and an asset to Groningen, but I see throughout the forum that it is poorly maintained; the escalators are filthy, the elevators are filthy, the toilets are filthy. There are a lot of locations that could just be many, many times better; I don't understand that. You know, a lot of money has been invested in it? And yet it is simply not being maintained properly. It is just another cost-cutting measure to ensure that there are people walking around who are cleaning and who are simply working to ensure a fantastic experience. That is a shame. A shame, there could be so much more going on. A shame, a shame, a shame. Also, if you ask a question downstairs, it remains just someone sitting behind a computer; that is absolutely no interaction, so absolutely no contact. They keep looking at a screen, they don't look at you, and they give a response to your question with a bored voice.

Nice place to sit, but one of the staff was rude, I needed to leave because it took to long for me to drink my drink, and needed to order a new one.. I only sat there for 30 minutes! Also way to expensive

The main waitress was very rude in the way she spoke to us, and it made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in the restaurant.

When we're in Groningen, we love to visit the Forum and have lunch at NOK. We enjoy a snack and a drink while looking out over Groningen. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

With all due respect, it's okay, but not entirely commensurate with the cost and location. I expected a bit more in terms of food quality.

Not a good experience (2/5). But I think they can improve some of these point. Firstly when we arrived and ordered drinks we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive. At this point we decided not to eat lunch here but just get a snack. We had to wait another 30 minutes for the eierballen to arrive. I personally found the eierballen a shame. I think you cannot call these eierballen. Also I expected more, they were really tiny, it was too expensive in the end given this. The view is nice and the place has potential, but they definetly have to change how things are organised.

Beautiful view and lovely ambiance. Plenty of time to enjoy the view. After waiting over an hour, we asked if we hadn't been forgotten. The response was that the kitchen was busy. Nothing sympathetic; we experienced the opposite. After almost an hour and a half, our food arrived. The steak with one ravioli and three asparagus spears was delicious, but not quite warm inside. The seafood pasta had three small round pieces of white fish on it, and it was vegetarian with three slices of dried tomato, a bit of red cream sauce, and a sprig of green on top. We didn't dare order dessert. How long would we have to wait for that? Disappointing. Earlier this month, we had a delicious lunch at this place; it went smoothly, and the food was delicious.

Good food but expensive but the toilets are really dirty for how expensive it is.

We went to Bar Bistro NOK for Christmas and had a wonderful time. The location was stunning, with views over the entire city of Groningen. We were also lucky with the beautiful sky! The food was delicious; we had the flat iron steak for the main course, which was super tender and flavorful. The staff was attentive and friendly!

Rude waiter told us that our children had made a mess, even though that was not true. That is totally unacceptable behavior. Just act normal. Eventually, he came to apologize.

Just been there, what a place When you are alone in the forum, where you come for the first time in your life, And find a sign at the entrance that says a story of 55 Groningers looking out for each other and others I was actually offended With, well, uhmmm, only for 1 person, yes, uhhhh, back there by the window in the exit I remained polite, Said thank you, and immediately walked to the spot by the window next to the door, through the door to the escalator. Which squeaks incredibly as if it has been in service for 70 years and where severe overdue maintenance would be desirable. You would think with all those books that peace and quiet would be desired But anyway, just as you shouldn't judge a book by its cover I won't do that with the forum either They won't see me at nok again

A table for 8 and a view over Groningen, what a great setting to meet up with friends. We sat underneath loudspeakers and as soon as we asked to turn it down, it got sorted.

A frugal lunch with a huge hunk of white bread and three mini croquettes. With tea (not fresh) for €19.00 per person.

Seated on the 10th floor, with a beautiful view over lovely Groningen. A fresh cinnamon tea and lemon tea were ordered. The lemon tea consisted of a glass of hot water with 3 slices of lemon, hopefully organic, which would justify the exorbitant price of €4.90. Upon inquiring about the reason for this price... Inflation, sir.

I used to love the cocktails here but forget about it. Now they serve pre-mix AND they made them more expensive. Disappointing to feel like management stopped respecting customers somewhere along the way. Edit: did I say lack of respect? Since around half an year ago prices increased around 1.5€ which is not a crazy amount IF you maintain quality. This management figure tells me quality is still maintained which is A BLATANT LIE. Cocktails like passionfruit martini and espresso martini are not mixed anymore. Gall & Gall stocks these half a liter pre-mix bottles. Unfortunately I know the taste (it's not amazing). So when I tell you these people are charging the same (roughly) for a quarter of that bottle and making 3x profit PER glass? Sorry I feel this way =))

A very nice restaurant with a fantastic view. The staff and chef, in particular, are very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful experience and a beautiful view

The food is good, but unfortunately, there was a staff member, I believe to be the manager that was very rude to me and my friends. I think he noticed that we were younger and foreigners and thought he could treat us badly. When he spoke to other customers, he was polite. This is really not okay and feels very discriminatory.

I went there today food was good but disappointed with the service. Me and my friends were treated badly by one of the staff members in particular and it’s not ok ! because i didn’t saw the older and dutch costumers being treated that badly. Very upset

The fries were a lot but the sauce was too less, just some mayo and cheese and they call it loaded fries. Loaded with what? Six pieces of chicken were dry and chewy, not like original at all. So the food is way overpriced. The beer was tasty , awesome views.

This is a hidden gem! The rooftop terrace overlooks Groningen and you can have a lunch or drink while still being in the city centre. Went for dinner later again, looking at the Martini Tower. Food is not too complicated but good, friendly staff and to me a perfect spot for a date maybe.

The best part of this place is its location and atmosphere! Being close to the historical Martinitoren and on the top floor terrace of the most modern public space of the town, you have the best of both worlds. But service can be better and an inclusive menu was highly expected

The food was mediocre for that price and the desert Le Colonel (Freshly made Italian sorbet ice cream of lemon and vodka) is a very small glass of white liquid with a vodka flavor but no ice!! Had 3 sips and it was gone for 8.5 euros So I will never go there again

I made a reservation weeks ago for a graduation dinner. I called again today about the reservation that will take place in 4 days. Because someone has now reserved the entire tent, I have to find something else last minute for a large group of people. Communication zero. Organization worse.

Beautiful view but extremely unprofessional service. I sat down there to study with the idea that I could also have some coffee and lunch. Considering it was practically empty inside, that didn't seem like a strange idea at all. I understand that some coffee places prefer not to have that, but every decent place will indicate this before you order (while the study material is already on the table). Instead of communicating that you are not allowed to study here, the staff first took my order and then turned up the music much louder, which is of course very annoying if you want to study. After asking if the music could be turned down, they were told that you are not allowed to study here and that is why they had turned up the music, which is extremely childish. Long story short, you pay for a drink and are then chased away by childish service.

Dear Sir or Madame! I am your client and I was visiting NOK on Saturday at approximately 13:30-14:30 o’clock. I and my friends came to visit Groningen from Germany. Before my trip I have taken the cash at the bank (Raiffeisenbank) and I didn’t charge my money at another places. I have paid for my order in NOK and in 10 minutes the administrator (man in orange pullover with light red short beard) came to us and showed 50 Euro. He has said that we have given a fake banknote and we need to change it. But when I asked to call police and show me video from camera, he stopped this discussion. In 20-30 minutes he wanted to leave everything as it was without police. Pay attention to your staff! It was very unpleasant for me to be in your establishment!

Een fantastisch leuke plek om iets te gaan drinken. Het uitzicht is uniek en de bediening zeer vriendelijk. Zeker aan te raden.

Top locatie, geweldig uitzicht en sfeervol, heerlijk gegeten!! We hadden een apart deel voor onze groep gekregen. Dat was fijn!

Goeie gastvrije omgeving met ruime keuze aan drankjes. Francis zorgde ervoor dat we vriendelijk werden ontvangen en continu onze glazen gevuld hadden.

Heerlijk gegeten en snelle service. Ook voor mijn zoon was er wat lekkers op de kaart. De bediening was heel attent wat heel fijn was.

He estado en NOK, así como en el Skybar un par de veces y sigue superando mis expectativas cada vez. La dirección y el personal son amables y atentos y siempre hacen todo lo posible para asegurarse de que esté bien atendido cada vez que visito. Me encanta el ambiente, el buen servicio, la comida deliciosa, cócteles increíbles y fantásticas vistas a la hermosa ciudad de Groninga y Martinitoren.

Mixed feelings here. I had the bouliabasse which is a fish soup. It was delicious, but was barely warm enough and a tiny portion. You shouldn't have to leave a restaurant hungry. Staff were attentive.

This was absolutely the worst bouillabaisse I have ever had. And yes, normally you complain directly to the staff, but the staff was so absent and uninterested in our visit and therefore did not clear away the empty glasses and plates. Really a terribly bad restaurant.

I am a regular guest here, especially for the view. The nachos are good, and I also like the background music. Besides the fact that the prices are relatively high, the beer is also lukewarm, the food is not enough to fill your stomach and the service occasionally leaves a lot to be desired. You wish such a beautiful location for a nice owner. There are still opportunities for improvement.

Beautiful location for a business meeting. Privately, I find it less accessible to everyone. The atmosphere is golden as long as you make it yourself. If you spend money, the staff sees you as soon as you spend wine and you are not taken seriously.

What a shame 😂 they have no respect at all for customers who have been waiting for a while. It's open there at 11 a.m.: just let customers wait in front of the door because we'll first need to arrange some cushions. I don't think they care about service, they think they have enough customers. But we'll go have a drink and a meal elsewhere. TIP: there is a nice bar on the sixth floor and there are plenty of nice restaurants in the city where you can eat well and where customers can feel welcome. PS: Fortunately, I am not the first nor the last with a bad experience.

Nice restaurant at the top of Forum. I came to this place with my friends for brunch. We had a nice time here. The view of the city is great from here.

The server is a moody sexist bald man, and is only friendly to young girls... I order 2 drinks upon arrival and ask if I can use my laptop, which is allowed. An hour later I am asked to order lunch because it is a restaurant. I react surprised and ask if I misunderstand something, because the women around me have only ordered 1 drink and have been without ordering lunch for at least as long as I have, and are also on the phone. However, no problem is made of this. The server walks away without answering my question. I hope he is ashamed of his sexism. In any case, I will never come back and will warn others.

Going to the Forum with grandson (7), always a party. Grandson is a bit hungry, so we go to Nok and order 3 x children's toast, thinking that we can continue enjoying it soon, because how difficult can it be to toast 2 slices. Our coffee and tea arrive and we wait, and wait, and after 25 minutes the waiter comes and asks if we want anything else to drink. No, we want our sandwiches. Tables around get their complicated snacks, but we keep waiting, waiting, Asked various waiting staff, sorry can be taken off, nothing else, Will be coming soon, says a gentleman in a shirt (manager?) After 35 minutes. After 59 minutes after ordering, we left after paying for the coffee/tea. And we had a delicious meal at Bakker Bart, where we had to wait 2 minutes for our sandwiches. Nice view, but if you are going to eat with a (grand)child, do not do so at Nok

Cozy nice restaurant. Due to the fantastic location, on the highest floor of the building, the view is beautiful. The atmosphere inside is also cozy. A really great place to have a drink every now and then!

It is not often that the snacks are on the table and the drinks are not there yet. It all took a very long time even though it was not overly busy. Even with the second round of drinks we eventually had to ask if it would take long...

The four of us ate at Nok. The white wine chardonnay was finished, we ordered smash burgers and vegetable ratatouille, when it was served the food was lukewarm as were the drinks, it had been under the red lamp for some time🙄and the ratatouille was so little that we had to laugh and asked if it was a starter, no it wasn't. I would be ashamed to serve someone so little food (4 slices of courgette, 3 carrots and 2 balls of onion). It would be passed on... (never heard anything again) In the meantime we went to the incredibly filthy toilet to immediately turn around, then we decided to leave. Skipped dessert and had it somewhere else with a good glass of wine and clean toilets.

Nice view but unfortunately service takes very long. Food was otherwise good simple but ok. Only come for a coffee and the view over the martini tower is just fine!
