NOK in Centrum

This is a hidden gem! The rooftop terrace overlooks Groningen and you can have a lunch or drink while still being in the city centre. Went for dinner later again, looking at the Martini Tower. Food is not too complicated but good, friendly staff and to me a perfect spot for a date maybe.

The best part of this place is its location and atmosphere! Being close to the historical Martinitoren and on the top floor terrace of the most modern public space of the town, you have the best of both worlds. But service can be better and an inclusive menu was highly expected

I used to love the cocktails here but forget about it. Now they serve pre-mix AND they made them more expensive. Disappointing to feel like management stopped respecting customers somewhere along the way. Edit: did I say lack of respect? Since around half an year ago prices increased around 1.5€ which is not a crazy amount IF you maintain quality. This management figure tells me quality is still maintained which is A BLATANT LIE. Cocktails like passionfruit martini and espresso martini are not mixed anymore. Gall & Gall stocks these half a liter pre-mix bottles. Unfortunately I know the taste (it's not amazing). So when I tell you these people are charging the same (roughly) for a quarter of that bottle and making 3x profit PER glass? Sorry I feel this way =))

The food was mediocre for that price and the desert Le Colonel (Freshly made Italian sorbet ice cream of lemon and vodka) is a very small glass of white liquid with a vodka flavor but no ice!! Had 3 sips and it was gone for 8.5 euros So I will never go there again

I made a reservation weeks ago for a graduation dinner. I called again today about the reservation that will take place in 4 days. Because someone has now reserved the entire tent, I have to find something else last minute for a large group of people. Communication zero. Organization worse.

Beautiful view but extremely unprofessional service. I sat down there to study with the idea that I could also have some coffee and lunch. Considering it was practically empty inside, that didn't seem like a strange idea at all. I understand that some coffee places prefer not to have that, but every decent place will indicate this before you order (while the study material is already on the table). Instead of communicating that you are not allowed to study here, the staff first took my order and then turned up the music much louder, which is of course very annoying if you want to study. After asking if the music could be turned down, they were told that you are not allowed to study here and that is why they had turned up the music, which is extremely childish. Long story short, you pay for a drink and are then chased away by childish service.

Dear Sir or Madame! I am your client and I was visiting NOK on Saturday at approximately 13:30-14:30 o’clock. I and my friends came to visit Groningen from Germany. Before my trip I have taken the cash at the bank (Raiffeisenbank) and I didn’t charge my money at another places. I have paid for my order in NOK and in 10 minutes the administrator (man in orange pullover with light red short beard) came to us and showed 50 Euro. He has said that we have given a fake banknote and we need to change it. But when I asked to call police and show me video from camera, he stopped this discussion. In 20-30 minutes he wanted to leave everything as it was without police. Pay attention to your staff! It was very unpleasant for me to be in your establishment!

Een fantastisch leuke plek om iets te gaan drinken. Het uitzicht is uniek en de bediening zeer vriendelijk. Zeker aan te raden.

Goeie gastvrije omgeving met ruime keuze aan drankjes. Francis zorgde ervoor dat we vriendelijk werden ontvangen en continu onze glazen gevuld hadden.

Top locatie, geweldig uitzicht en sfeervol, heerlijk gegeten!! We hadden een apart deel voor onze groep gekregen. Dat was fijn!

Heerlijk gegeten en snelle service. Ook voor mijn zoon was er wat lekkers op de kaart. De bediening was heel attent wat heel fijn was.

He estado en NOK, así como en el Skybar un par de veces y sigue superando mis expectativas cada vez. La dirección y el personal son amables y atentos y siempre hacen todo lo posible para asegurarse de que esté bien atendido cada vez que visito. Me encanta el ambiente, el buen servicio, la comida deliciosa, cócteles increíbles y fantásticas vistas a la hermosa ciudad de Groninga y Martinitoren.

Mixed feelings here. I had the bouliabasse which is a fish soup. It was delicious, but was barely warm enough and a tiny portion. You shouldn't have to leave a restaurant hungry. Staff were attentive.

This was absolutely the worst bouillabaisse I have ever had. And yes, normally you complain directly to the staff, but the staff was so absent and uninterested in our visit and therefore did not clear away the empty glasses and plates. Really a terribly bad restaurant.

I am a regular guest here, especially for the view. The nachos are good, and I also like the background music. Besides the fact that the prices are relatively high, the beer is also lukewarm, the food is not enough to fill your stomach and the service occasionally leaves a lot to be desired. You wish such a beautiful location for a nice owner. There are still opportunities for improvement.

Beautiful location for a business meeting. Privately, I find it less accessible to everyone. The atmosphere is golden as long as you make it yourself. If you spend money, the staff sees you as soon as you spend wine and you are not taken seriously.

What a shame 😂 they have no respect at all for customers who have been waiting for a while. It's open there at 11 a.m.: just let customers wait in front of the door because we'll first need to arrange some cushions. I don't think they care about service, they think they have enough customers. But we'll go have a drink and a meal elsewhere. TIP: there is a nice bar on the sixth floor and there are plenty of nice restaurants in the city where you can eat well and where customers can feel welcome. PS: Fortunately, I am not the first nor the last with a bad experience.

The server is a moody sexist bald man, and is only friendly to young girls... I order 2 drinks upon arrival and ask if I can use my laptop, which is allowed. An hour later I am asked to order lunch because it is a restaurant. Cozy nice restaurant. Due to the fantastic location, on the highest floor of the building, the view is beautiful. The atmosphere inside is also cozy. A really great place to have a drink every now and then!

It is not often that the snacks are on the table and the drinks are not there yet. It all took a very long time even though it was not overly busy. Even with the second round of drinks we eventually had to ask if it would take long...

The four of us ate at Nok. The white wine chardonnay was finished, we ordered smash burgers and vegetable ratatouille, when it was served the food was lukewarm as were the drinks, it had been under the red lamp for some time🙄and the ratatouille was so little that we had to laugh and asked if it was a starter, no it wasn't. I would be ashamed to serve someone so little food (4 slices of courgette, 3 carrots and 2 balls of onion). It would be passed on... (never heard anything again) In the meantime we went to the incredibly filthy toilet to immediately turn around, then we decided to leave. Skipped dessert and had it somewhere else with a good glass of wine and clean toilets.

We didn't get the card until 6pm, we had a movie to catch but this was not taken into account. We were already there at 5:45 PM... This made us late for the movie, even though Nok is 2 floors above the movie theaters. Bad service, mediocre food.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately that is the only plus point of the visit. The kitchen was quite late and of course this can happen but after waiting 40 minutes for our food what you got for the price you paid was really very disappointing. Ready-made flat bread from the package, that's how it tasted, small portions, nothing extra and so you pay 13.50 for a kimchi sandwich with nothing added. Shame. Probably won't come back unless they fine tune the prices. Well kuzos to the staff for their understanding and the help they gave us. That was very nice and made the experience a little better.

We made a reservation for 4 people next to the window, but we were given a spot next to the toilet. Ordering and getting food takes a very long time, and it was cold. The only good thing about this bar/restaurant is its location...

Heerlijk gegeten (Kabeljauw en Saffraan Risotto zijn aanraders) en een leuke avond gehad mede dankzij het gastvrije personeel. We hebben al weer gereserveerd voor volgende maand om weer te genieten op deze topplek.

Los van de unieke locatie is de service goed, hoef je niet lang te wachten en is de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding zeer goed te noemen. Dit keer met vrienden geweest en gekozen voor de burger. Vooraf verschillende reviews over gelezen maar wat mij betreft een goede, smakelijke runderburger. Al met al een aanrader, ik kom zeker terug!

Staff has no idea what they are doing. Bavette is suddenly called Couer de Bouef (the starter), or has suddenly changed to Rib Eye. The meat was incorrectly sliced ​​(and well done) which made it extremely tough. In addition, the portion was a maximum of 80 grams, seasonal vegetables that would be served consisted of 2 mini beets. No garnish, no salad, no potatoes, no sandwich beforehand. Meat was bland and there was no salt/pepper on the table. "Ratatouille" consisted of five pieces of vegetables as the main course. People at our table have been without a drink for >45 minutes. All this was served for the top price, which you would certainly expect to have at least nutritional value, and served by friendly staff. We were not asked what we thought of the food, nor whether everything was to our liking, at any time. Advice to the manager: take a good look at how you are currently working and where things are going wrong. The place has potential, but this is a waste of the beautiful location and money. The staff performs very poorly for the price charged and what is claimed with the presentation of the dishes. Even the checkout did not go smoothly. Our experience left a very bad taste and we will collectively not recommend NOK as a restaurant.

Beautiful view and tasty food, but we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks and 50 minutes for the food.

The view is beautiful, but that's all. Coffee tastes like a double espresso. My partner had a hamburger. I didn't see my lunch dish. Something had gone wrong with this. This was only mentioned when I asked for a status update. My partner had already finished his hamburger. So we left. Such a shame. While it is a top location.

The cheescake was not good, the coffe was ok.

A blot atop the otherwise fabulous Forum. All the warmth of a bowl of cold gruel and service that's about as welcoming as an army boot camp. Never again!

Rubbish from previous visitors was not removed from the table, they were only helped after half an hour (had now ordered via QR code). Fries (very small portion), which only came after an hour.

Café NOK in Groningen was voor ons een grote teleurstelling. We kwamen hier voor het ontbijt, maar vanaf het begin ging het mis. Het personeel was onvriendelijk en leek haastig, wat voor een ongemakkelijke sfeer zorgde. Tot onze verrassing was de helft van het menu niet beschikbaar. Toen we vroegen naar opties, werd ons haastig gevraagd om een keuze van 2 beschikbare gerechten te maken. Ondanks die haast liet het eten vervolgens een half uur op zich wachten. Tot overmaat van ramp kregen we geen zout en peper bij onze gerechten. Toen we erom vroegen, bleek het zoutvaatje ook nog eens leeg te zijn. De hele ervaring voelde rommelig en ongeïnteresseerd aan. De sfeer was verre van gezellig, en tot slot hoorden we een medewerker klagen dat mensen tegenwoordig geen fooi meer geven. Tja, ik vraag me af waarvoor we dat zouden moeten doen, gezien de gebrekkige service en het onvriendelijke personeel. Helaas kunnen we dit café niet aanraden.

The place is just wow. This is an incredible building, rooftop accessible till 19:00. Free of charge. We had the bad idea of stopping for a drink at the bar-restaurant (NOK) on the 10th floor just coming down from the rooftop. Disaster: service (euh there is none!), aperol is just water, not a nice moment at all. Shame because the place is just incredible. Please guys do something about this. This could be so much better, with soi little effort.

Nice place at the top of the beautiful Forum building in Groningen! I didn't think the menu was very special (little choice), just like the smash burger I ordered (way too soggy). Flatbread with spreads was also tasty. They also have some very nice special beers on the menu. And of course the view was beautiful!

Me and my woman we was think will have a nice nice evening. it was a beautiful Friday, until the waiter came and said that we had no more hamburgers, then he also forgot to bring something I ordered (I think he smoked something) and then the food (the plate was empty and there was little food) finally I had to go to MCDONALD'S to get enough. so I don't really recommend it, you have to be stupid to go and pay a lot and eat little and be treated poorly without quality.

Eten in de top van Het Forum. Het uitzicht is schitterend dus het eten en de bediening zal dan ook wel top zijn. Niet dus. Op een zonnige zaterdagmiddag rond 14.00 uur hier willen lunchen. Dit is een uitdaging. Tussen bestellen en voordat je een simpel gerecht (Cesear salade) op je bord krijgt geserveerd. Duurt ruim 40 minuten. Bediening geeft dit ook niet van tevoren aan. Als je na 30 minuten gaat vragen, geven ze alleen aan dat het druk is. De salade zelf was wel goed van smaak maar de ansjovissen die erin zouden moeten zitten, zijn waarschijnlijk snel voorbij gezwommen. De sla was ook niet goed geplukt. Misschien is het onderdeel van de nieuwe keuken om zoveel mogelijk te gebruiken maar de worstelstronk en de grote harde nerven hoef ik liever niet in de sla. Los van dit ongemak was het uitzicht schitterend.

Beautiful place! Service good and food okey… We ordered a smash burger, but it was a thick hamburger and the Caesar salad just came with anchovies🥹 luckily we could exchange it for chicken. It wasn't very expensive so it was a great experience!
