II had high expectations coming here given the reputation, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to them. The food was below what you’d expect from a “fancy” restaurant. The steak, which should have been the highlight, didn’t taste right and felt poorly prepared. Overall, the quality and taste were not at the level I was expecting.

Really overpriced. Kids meals promised as homemade clearly just freezer fast food. Waiter was lovely and the location is nice but we left hungry having spent a small fortune. The app also advertised the prices wrong annoyingly!

We went for dinner here yesterday with our 4-year-old son. It was wonderfully quiet, and thanks to the beautiful sunshine, we were able to have an aperitif and eat our starter on the terrace; the staff were very friendly in making this possible! This allowed our son to enjoy playing in the nearby playground. The food was very tasty, and the wine pairings (including half glasses) were delicious. The service might not have been top-notch, for example in presenting the dishes, but they made up for it with friendliness. It was a unique experience for us to be able to eat in such a restaurant with our son!

A wonderfully challenging, yet accessible journey through a culinary experience. In January 2026, we enjoyed the 5-course menu with wine pairing, one of which was vegetarian. Due to the time of year, we didn't have a great view of the savannah, but in spring, summer, and fall, this is a huge plus! The ambiance is peaceful and beautiful; it wasn't very busy. The staff were sufficiently professional, very friendly, and helpful. They looked neat and tidy, just like the interior and exterior. The amuse-bouches were of very high quality and a real addition, with a nod to the savannahs of the Beekse Bergen region. Each course was beautifully presented and expertly explained by the staff. It was almost impossible to fault them. The flavors were incredibly delicious and unique. I prefer beef and game, but this menu (which changes every three months) mainly featured seafood and poultry. Yet, they executed it beautifully. What disappointed me a bit was the first and second courses, which were a bit too similar in terms of taste. The vegetarian alternative for the third course (butter chicken -> pumpkin) also fell a bit flat. The butter chicken was a true work of art, while the pumpkin was rather plain in terms of presentation and especially in terms of taste. The dessert, by the way, was a real winner—really good! In my experience, wine pairings are often disappointing. Lots of inexpensive wines without any special highlights. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. We went from (very high-quality) New World wines to classic Old World wines. Lots of white, but plenty of variety. The Gewürztraminer is special in itself, but not very profound. However, it complemented the dish very well. This was true for all the pairings. The wines truly complemented the dishes perfectly—a definite plus! The only slight disappointment was a Primitivo as the only red wine. I was hoping to be challenged with a special red wine instead of a Primitivo. However, this wine, apart from that, was of decent quality. We finished with a delicious Sauternes. The staff were very knowledgeable about the wines, more than I expected. A small human error certainly didn't spoil the fun; they were very polite. The option to order a half-glass pairing is a great feature. My advice is to order a nice sparkling wine beforehand. I found it rather odd that they don't always start with a crement or something similar. That would be a neat sixth wine that kicks off the flavors at the beginning, which is quite common. In short, I give them 4.5 stars. Not a 5 because (in order of worst to least worst): - not enough variety in the first courses of the dinner - vegetarian options could be a bit higher in standard - red wine was less interesting than all the white wines. But the negatives are nowhere near as great as the positives. I definitely recommend it to others and would happily return when the menu changes again.

We had a wonderful meal. The 5-course menu was excellent. The sommoliere was excellent. A good balance between knowledge and creating a pleasant atmosphere.

The food is exquisite and of star-worthy quality! We understood that there is an ambition to aim for a star. However, a lot still needs to be done regarding the surrounding service. Little attention was paid to the guest (with the restaurant not even half full, the order was taken in a rush, and we even had to call the host back to finish it). The wine pairing had fine wines, but they were poured very sparingly for €9.50 per glass! (see photo). The glass of bubbly beforehand was also really too meager for €12.50! The atmosphere is okay, but could be better. The bill was incomplete: several items worth €150 were missing! We pointed this out politely, but naturally find this very careless towards the guest, especially considering the restaurant's ambitions. We will return again this coming summer (because of the food) and hope that improvements will have been made to the surrounding matters by then.

We ate at Nommos yesterday while staying at the holiday resort. The food was delicious, and the sommelier recommended some wonderful wine pairings for our four-course dinner. With a bit more training for the other wait staff, this restaurant is highly recommended.

Delicious food, a new menu every three months. Located in Beekse Bergen Park, you can dine with a view of the animals. We've been here five times now, and it's always worth returning. Excellent service, delicious food, beautifully presented plates, detailed explanations, and lovely wine pairings in a beautiful restaurant where you have plenty of privacy thanks to the slightly spaced tables. We're already looking forward to the new January menu.

I can't understand the average rating, and it almost put us off. However, for a zoo/holiday/amusement park, it was very good. The food was excellent, we had 4 courses, and the wine pairing was very good! We were there with two children, and the children's menu and the friendliness of the staff were also great. The waiter even took the kids to get ice cream for dessert, and then we were allowed to get popcorn. There's also a small playground outside. The only drawback: you're only allowed to eat inside and only have an aperitif on the terrace. They could also pimp up the drinks menu a bit (e.g., Negroni, etc. as an aperitif). Highly recommended to round off your stay.

The food was surprisingly good and delicious. The staff was friendly and explained the food in detail. There were only three tables, so it was very quiet.

2 hrs and 40mins in and only had 3 of the 5 courses. The food is good but the time and service is SO slow. Training is needed and management. Staff don’t need to bring 2 plates on a tray, put the tray down 20 metres away and then bring one plate at a time. It’s 5-courses and a family restaurant……. Kids starter had sauce and fancy stufff / just give the ham and melon. The burger was half the size of a normal burger. Emphasis seems to be on “fine” dining but they need to look at the diners….families. Simple great food and served quickly. 3-courses in 2hrs 40 mins is very poor. It’s not cheap either.

Excellent introduction to a new fine dining restaurant located between the wild animals of the safari park. One of our favorite chefs runs the kitchen so the bar was set high. The restaurant has now opened to the general public. It took some searching to find the right location but once inside we were directed by the friendly ladies at the reception. Inside it is large, modernly furnished with an open kitchen and a glass wall that offers a view of the savannah with wild animals that provide a continuously changing spectacle, special! The dishes are constructed with solid classic preparations combined with modern techniques. The flavors and flavor combinations are more than fine with a few surprising outliers towards the top segment. We already had high expectations and were pleasantly surprised that chef Dirk and his team managed to surpass themselves again. Wines were neatly selected and matched my personal preference, in other words excellent support and neatly balanced with the dishes. The nice and friendly service completed the picture. Hilvarenbeek has another top restaurant.

At Nommos we had an exceptional fine dining experience. Every dish was a creative surprise. Perfectly balanced, with flavour combinations that surpassed each course. The chefs not only create something that looks beautiful, but above all something that tastes fantastic. You can tell from everything that they cook with care, courage and craftsmanship. The oenologist knew exactly which wines would enhance the dishes even more – subtle, but striking. Even though we did not opt ​​for the wine arrangement, we did seek advice and every wine matched the courses perfectly. And then the location: dining with a view of a vast savannah where animals quietly walk by is downright magical. Nommos combines culinary creativity with a unique setting. A place you will not soon forget, absolutely recommended!

Had dinner tonight with baby and child, went early on purpose because this can really be a challenge. (5 pm) Luck on my side: Children very quiet and sweet and an experience richer. Incredibly delicious food, beautiful presentation, nicely composed menu and great service. Wine advice was also very good and matched my taste and wishes. What a wonderful surprise! We had a delicious and carefully prepared meal at a truly unique location – right in the middle of the Beekse Bergen safari park. For our 25th wedding anniversary, we chose to celebrate this special moment with a dinner at fine dining restaurant Nommos, together with our family. The restaurant is beautifully situated: from your table you look out over a private part of the Nommos safari park, where giraffes and zebras, among others, walk past at a short distance. That makes the experience magical and unforgettable. The interior is modern, light and spacious, and we sat with seven people at a large round table – comfortable and inviting. We partly opted for the four-course and partly for the five-course menu, with some enjoying the matching wine arrangement. Each course was explained with care and enthusiasm, including the wine choices, which made the culinary experience even richer. Our evening started with a refined amuse trio, which immediately set the tone: creative, tasteful and visually appealing. The dishes that followed were all prepared with care, with the two intermediate courses being real highlights for me – particularly refined and unforgettable in taste. The wine choices were also excellent and expertly matched. During the evening, the friendly team at Nomos played with great warmth and attention to our wedding anniversary – a gesture that we greatly appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back here again!

Star restaurant in Beekse Bergen. We enjoyed a great evening of the exquisite dishes of this former Michelin star restaurant chef and vinologist and sommelier who presented everything to us with flair and a personal touch. All while enjoying our playing children who played outside as much as they wanted and enjoyed a children's meal menu inside, followed by preparing their own dessert in the kitchen. How nice that BB now also offers this.

Last Saturday the 4 of us had dinner at Nommos, and what an experience that was! If a 10 is the highest grade, we will without a doubt give an 11. From the moment we walked in until we said goodbye, everything was taken care of down to the last detail, there was even alcohol-free delicious champagne. The dishes were simply stunning. Every bite was a real party; an explosion of flavors, textures and perfectly matched ingredients. From the refined amuses to the friandises at the end: every dish was a work of art in itself, not only in terms of taste but also in terms of presentation. The service was also excellent – ​​professional, friendly and with genuine attention to the guest. They knew exactly when to be present and when to stay in the background, and even the chef came to the table which was extra fun! It is clear that Nommos works with passion and an eye for detail, both in the kitchen and on the floor. This restaurant is without a doubt an absolute must for anyone who enjoys fine dining at the highest level. We will definitely come back here. An unforgettable culinary experience!

A delicious 4-course menu and 4-course wine arrangement at Nommos. And a super pleasant evening in a beautiful atmospheric space. Ok, we often go to fancy/fine dining/bib gourmand food, and we didn't actually expect that you would have something like that in the Beekse Bergen. So I was a bit skeptical, but this was so tasty. We really enjoyed it. A super nice sommelier told us about the wines with great passion. Simply accessible and cozy. Everything was right, including the ambiance, the music, the people. And that makes you have a nice evening. For the price, this food was really worth the experience. But I can imagine that if you go with your children, this is not the best place. But for a couple(s), this is perfect. 5 stars more than deserved!

We had a delicious meal at Nommos restaurant. We spent the night in Beekse Bergen with my girlfriend and son and decided that we really wanted to eat something tasty. Since our little one was in bed and we didn't want to go too far, despite the baby monitor, we asked if we could pick up the food to eat at the house. At Nommos they were more than helpful and provided us with a three-course dinner, including place settings and a delicious matching wine. We really enjoyed this dinner, at our own house with a view of the giraffes and rhinos. Thank you for the delicious dinner and the good service!

Cozy restaurant in the Beekse Bergen park. Delicious wine and food experience with friendly service, the lady in question talked passionately about the wines. We had a delicious meal in this restaurant. A real feast with good ingredients. The dishes were also beautifully served by friendly staff. The portions were not that big, so it might be nice if you could order something extra for the very big eater, although you could ask for enough bread with butter and oil. It is also a good place to stay with small children. Good children's menu, the highlight of which is making their own ice cream in the kitchen. I hope to eat here more often, although unfortunately I don't live nearby!

Then no more time for coffee and tea, because the children had to go to bed. We want the restaurant to open earlier so that we can also try the 5-course menu. 6 people ate/drank for 300 euros in total. We thought it was a great price/quality ratio! The food was of high quality and the plates were beautifully presented. It's not too much food, but it's not too little either. The option to order some side dishes could possibly be an improvement. We went home satisfied (and were glad that we were not sitting in the very busy and noisy buffet restaurant Amma next door...)

Finally a fine dining restaurant in a zoo! After a home-cooked meal in our holiday home and an evening buffet at Amma's, it was time for the parents' choice! Staff was very friendly and the concept, menu and interior were well put together (also children's menu). We went for the three-course surprise menu and that started well with an extra amuse. The dishes were, just like the wine, very tasty. The biggest hit was the ice cream that the children were allowed to make themselves in the kitchen. Still a few improvement tips: - open the restaurant at 5:00 PM instead of 6:00 PM so that more people with small children can eat here more easily and go for that fourth course. - because of the children we opted for a three course menu. The big eaters would have liked to have the option to order fries as a side dish.

Anders dan de meeste andere reviews vond ik de algehele ervaring subliem. Wat misschien voor sommige vreemd is, is dat zo'n kwalitatief goed restaurant in een vakantiepark staat. Daardoor zijn er relatief veel gezinnen / kinderen en soms wellicht iets minder tot in de puntjes getraind personeel als je verwacht in een restaurant van dit niveau. Het eten is echt indrukwekkend. Als je grotere porties verwacht zijn er genoeg andere alternatieven op het park om naar toe te gaan. verwacht je 'haute cuisine' in een prachtig decor waar je ook nog zonder je bezwaard te voelen met kinderen kan eten is dit een uniek restaurant wat ik zeker aanbeveel. Voor jonge kinderen kan het wel een lange zit zijn, het zou fijn zijn als er vlak bij dit restaurant activiteiten voor hun georganiseerd worden, wat volgens mij nu niet het geval is.

Drie gangen menu genomen: - wat de drie gangen zijn, mogen we niet weten. En wat de cocktail van het huis is: "iets met alcohol" - duurt lang: na 2,5u kregen we onze derde gang - we bestellen cava maar ze brengen champagne - we vragen 1p vegetarisch. Bij de tweede gang zijn ze dit al vergeten. - kleine porties + Kindermenu + Ook lekker eten + Mooi ingericht + Uitzicht op de dieren

Eten bij het nieuwe restaurant op de Beekse Bergen, Nommos. Een imposant gebouw, enig uitzicht en een mooie kaart. Toffe ingrediënten met spannende combinaties. En laten we met het hoogte punt beginnen; het eten. Een heerlijke amuze (iets koud) van bloemkool en we waren begonnen! Daarna een leuk voorgerecht van tonijn, schuim van Wasabi en tempura, vers brood of een voorgerecht met aardbei tomaat. Als hoofd een bijzonder goede ossenhaas, met tartare en wang. Bijzonder goed! Maar nu de service, daar gaat de boot ten onder, de kerk in de brand en wordt de plank volledig misgeslagen. Context: er zijn 4 tafels gevuld in dit immense restaurant en er staan 3 man op de vloer. Lege glazen voor een groot deel van het diner, tafels die niet zijn afgeruimd rond ons (3 stuks) amuses die tegelijk met het voorgerecht op tafel komen en kinderen die schreeuwen en met ratels elke mogelijke eetlust verdrijven. 1 rode wijn op glas die smaakte naar warme druivensap en ondertussen staat de service de dagelijkse gang van zaken te bespreken in de keuken, het weer, het weekend in ieder geval niet op de vloer. Zonde en een misfit met de keuken die hun bekwaamheid duidelijk liet zien op tafel. Concluderend, lekker eten maar nog een berg werk aan de winkel (en nee, dit is geen moment opname, ik zat hier vorige week ook. Zelfde ervaring) ps. Desert is goed

Het eten is geweldig, echt weinig op aan te merken anders dan dat de warme/hoofdgerecht porties wel iets groter mogen. De bediening daarentegen heeft het “heel druk” maar niet met alle gasten, 4 man voor 8 tafels moet toch te doen zijn zou je zeggen. Toch duurde het 40 min voor we een drankje konden bestellen. Later bleek dat meneer Lips (ceo, eigenaar, directeur enz) zelf 10 min na ons was binnen gestapt en dus eerst geholpen moest worden, afijn na deze misser (waardoor we bijna waren vertrokken) was het een prima avond. Het eten was echt goed en ver boven wat je van een vakantiepark mag verwachten, ook enkele mensen uit de bediening haalde dit niveau maar helaas lang niet allemaal en dat was niet omdat we verwachten dat iemand alles foutloos doet of het niet druk mag hebben, maar gewoon omdat we soms genegeerd en vergeten werden. Toch raad ik iedereen aan hier te gaan eten, de chefs verdienen het en als je goed bent in je vinger opsteken en soms even “ober!” roepen komt het allemaal wel goed!

Superlekker, echt van heel hoog niveau. Wel kleine porties, zeker na een dag stappen in het park. Bovendien zeer kindvriendelijk.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten, de bediening was goed. We waren met een kind en konden daardoor helaas geen 3 gangen diner eten. We hebben gevraagd of het ook mogenlijk was om het voorgerecht over te slaan. Dit was geen probleem. Wat er echter niet bij gezegd was, is dat 2 gangen meer kosten dan 3. We waren voor een hoofd- en nagerecht 50 euro kwijt terwijl 3 gangen 47,50 kosten (er staan geen aparte prijzen per gerecht op de kaart aangegeven). De porties zijn klein en na een hoofdgerecht en een nagerecht kwamen wij alle 6 niet verzadigd terug. Toen we achteraf zagen dat we meer moesten betalen voor deze 2 gangen dan dat we hadden betaald als we 3 gangen hadden besteld, werd als argument aangedragen dat de porties bij ons groter waren dan normaal (zonder dit vooraf aan te geven of we hier naar gevraagd hadden. Het lijkt ook onwaar als we naar de portoegrootte keken). Hoewel de eerste persoon die we spraken vriendelijk was en dit wilde uitzoeken, werd er door de tweede zeer gek op gereageerd en vriendelijk is anders. Eindstand: hoofdgerecht, toetje en 1 drankje: 60 euro per persoon. Geen aanrader als je hier met een gezin komt. Wellicht als je zonder kinderen een meergangen menu wilt eten. Zonde, het was heerlijk, maar achteraf voelen we ons flink afgezet. We gaan niet met een goed gevoel weg.

Eten is heerlijk. Bediening soms onhandig: 2x om je drankje moeten vragen, bestek of glas mist, bediening komt al pratend nog aanlopen waardoor slecht te verstaan. Bepaalde tafels hebben binnen flink last van de zon (het was een zonnige dag). Binnen mijn zonnebril moeten gebruiken.
