Super Chinese, we ordered noodles without egg and meat, and noodles without leek because of... allergies. What is always difficult for others to comply with, they can do so here! Very nice staff!! Will come back soon.

It's a Indo-Chinese restaurant, hardly haute cuisine but as far as the Dutch Chinese restaurants go, this is a very decent one. Don't expect to be surprised by originality. Quality and quantity are good, service is very good (friendly and fast).

Lots of choice, food was delicious, large quantities. Service very friendly and patient. We will definitely come back. It's our favorite Chinese takeaway. But I really enjoyed eating there.

I eat here often and in my opinion it is really the best place in the area to enjoy a delicious meal and enjoy. The staff is super nice and polite. You will always be treated kindly here and will also receive good help in making choices on the menu if you want to try something different. The takeaway is also super good. The food is ready quickly, deliciously prepared and served neatly and beautifully on the table. I have tried all kinds of different options in the meantime, and literally all dishes were really delicious. The service, the food and the atmosphere therefore all get 5 stars from me. The restaurant is also very beautiful inside. I have chosen the kin do yuk, ma po tofu (vegetarian) and teppan complete the most and are my personal favorites so far, but there are so many other tasty things to try that I have already eaten and can recommend. Feel free to drop by, because the food here is really good and the service is fantastic. Thank you for your delicious food and warm welcome every time. This restaurant is highly recommended! :)

Super fast service and best Chinese I've had in many years

I picked up food and when I got home the prawn crackers turned out to be old. Very unfortunate that this Chinese is no longer as it was with the previous owner. There is also a real distinction made between customers, you can really hear and see that when you get food or eat it there.

We ate there on Wednesday, the service was very friendly and the food was great, I would love to come here again to eat.

Always nice to have a bite to eat there, the owner is always interested in the guest. We always like to come back.

the menu we had was not tasty, little taste, little sauce, the chicken was too dry. we did not feel well after eating, we will never come here again

Got the menu on Sunday, it didn't look good, babipangang was not neatly arranged in strips next to each other as it should be, it was as if it had been scraped off a plate and thrown into the container, you had to look for sauce, you could barely click through the chicken, it was most of it was dry, prawn crackers were tough, I think they were almost spoiled, I was nauseous all evening, they won't see me again, ps. Just read that someone else has complained, I think it says enough

I was cycling the LF Maasroute and was returning to the UK after 6 days of cycling from Maastricht. I dined here on 10th June whilst waiting to board my ferry. Although the staff here are very friendly and the service was good, to be honest I was disappointed by the food. I ordered 'Pork Satay' to start. What I got wasn't what I was expecting. I thought the pork would have been lightly grilled on the skewers and served with a pleasant peanut sauce. Instead, the big chunks of meat were 'drowned / overwhelmed' by a less-than-appealing and thin peanut sauce, and I couldn't tell if the meat had been grilled at all. I ordered 'Crispy Chilli Chicken' for my main dish together with fried noodles. Although the food was tasty and hot, I wasn't sure that it wasn't 'Sweet & Sour Chicken' instead. There was no chilli. I was too hungry to complain, to be honest. And the sauce was just a generic sweet orange sauce. Nothing amazing / special about it. I'm sorry to be so negative. It is a lovely restaurant and the staff are lovely. Linen napkins led me to believe that I would be getting an amazing dining experience, but the reality left me feeling very disappointed.

Poor quality of Asian food, small quantities and high prices. I don't really recommend it, I've been there one time and I won't visit again. However it can be tried by everyone maybe our taste is different.

This was the worst Asian restaurant I've ever been to!! The canned mushrooms, the vegetables too, the meat wasn't cooked properly. The food wasn't seasoned, salted or anything, it didn't taste like anything!!! The staff was nice but the food had to be good. The drinks were served in mini glasses, you're being ripped off here for the price. I've never experienced anything like that!!! I'm very very disappointed, save your money or go somewhere else!!!

Das Essen ging gar nicht habe nie so schlimm asiatisch gegessen es war ungenießbar. Die Champignons aus der Dose und das Gemüse leider auch für den Preis unverschämt. Das Fleisch kaum durchgebraten. Das Essen wurde nicht gewürzt und hat dementsprechend nach garnichts geschmeckt bin sehr enttäuscht weil ich mich auf Chinesisch gefreut hatte. Bitte spart euch euer Geld als dorthin zu gehen!!!

We were en route back to the UK at Hoek van Holland and as the ferry company has apparently changed from restaurant service to "casual dining" (inc. i.e. burgers and suchlike) we decided to have a meal in the Hoek. We found the centrally located Ocean City restaurant and had a relaxing meal of Chinese rice table for two which was excellent quality, a good selection and freshly prepared. As we had some time between our meal and the ferry we were not rushed out even though it's obviously a popular restaurant for both eating in and takeaways. There's a car park and street parking nearby - we'll be back next trip!

There were 12 of us at the restaurant for a family reunion. The service was exemplary. Not only did the food look delicious; it also tasted very good. We'll be happy to come back when we're in Hook of Holland!

The worst Chinese dishes ever....asian taste is missing completely. Very small portions and very expensive for the quality offered.

The food was delicious, although a little rushed as we had the Ferry to England to catch. I had the combination menu a choice of 2 dishes from about 10 options, which came with rice or noodles included in the price. I had the Tjap Tjoy Kip (Chicken chow mein), and Daging Smoor ( beef in a.sweet sauce) which I have to say was amazing along with special fried rice. My Pin Pun (crispy duck and pork) with Nasi (Noodles).. the rice and noodles came in little pans with lids ..very cute Wish we had, had more time to enjoy the calm atmosphere.

Food always delicious, service very friendly, takes the time to have a chat. Dear, the restaurant is always full and busy when you pick up. Come and judge for yourself, I would say. Enjoy your meal

My husband and I recommend it. Delicious and well-seasoned won ton soup as a starter, followed by a very tasty main course, Peking Duck Sweet Soy Sauce 👍. Very nice and professional service. We will definitely come back and try other dishes. We recommend it :)

Wij zijn vakantiegangers in Hoek van Holland. Op advies van Gerard, gids Bunker Bremen, vandaag een maaltijd meegenomen naar mijn schoonouders in Breda. De porties zijn erg royaal en super vers. Het smaakte meer dan heerlijk. Aankomend weekend komen we nog zeker een keertje terug. Goeie "Chinezen" zijn steeds moeilijker te vinden. Maar dit is er één!!!!

Top eten met fijne persoonlijke bediening die je herkent als je terug komt. Verder is het geen doorsnee Chinees Restaurant maar een Restaurant met een eigen identiteit.

Kom hier regelmatig. Vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijk eten. De bakken bewaar ik altijd... handig voor diverse doeleinden :) .

Ocean City is al jaren een goed en vertrouwd adres voor lekker en gezellig eten. Of je er gaat zitten of afhaalt het is altijd goed.

Lekker gegeten. Daarover geen klachten. De zaak is al jaren niet veranderd en daar wordt het zo langzaam wel tijd voor. Aandachtspunt vindt ik.

Goed Chinees restaurant met erg vriendelijke en professionele staff

Echt top en zeer vriendelijke personeel. Ook de prijs is top. Niks te klagen, ben er vandaag 2 aug eens binnen gaan eten. Wat een aangenen verassing. Gewoon nog beter dan de afhaal.echt super lekker vers en warm. Personeel is echt super vriendelijk en alles wordt duidelijk uitgelegd.

Heerlijk gegeten! Fijne zaak, vriendelijk personeel! Gaan binnen korte tijd ook eens afhalen. Zijn wel benieuwd of het eten dan ook zo goed is, bij de meeste chinese restaurants is dat niet her geval!

Wie so oft wird das Essen bei asiatischen Restaurants auf den Geschmack der Kunden angepasst, so auch hier... Sehr schade! Zwar war alles frisch zubereitet aber chinesisches Essen kenne ich persönlich auch China anders. Das Personal war aber super freundlich und das Ambiente ist klassisch! Durchaus okay für Menschen die gerne zu einem "europäischen Asiaten" gehen.

Lekker maar simpel gegeten, erg veel eten voor je geld! Lieve mensen die zeer attend zijn en vriendelijk!

Al vele malen geweest, normaal is reserveren echt een aanrader maar nu onverwachts al vroeg in de middag gewoon binnen gewandeld om te eten. (16uur) Wij kiezen standaard voor het tafelbuffet waarbij je kan kiezen uit 2 verschillende soorten voorgerechten of soep, dan, afhankelijk met hoeveel personen je bent kan je je hoofdmenu samen stellen uit diverse gerechten en je kan kiezen uit een Tipipan met diverse variaties aan vlees. Echt een aanrader. Het eten wordt met liefde bereid want dat proef je en als je vragen hebt over een gerecht legt de (altijd vriendelijke) bediening je rustig uit waaruit het bestaat en hoe het bereid wordt. Wij wonen in Zoetermeer maar komen graag naar Hoek van Holland alleen al voor de goede Chinees 😊

Zeer uitgebreide kaart, heel veel personeel dus ook snelle service. Er zijn genoeg tafels, maar afgelopen zaterdagavond liep het best vol, dus reserveren is wel zo verstandig.
