Shanghai Corner in Delfshaven

We live next to this lovely place and sometimes grabbing takeouts for a dinner. Food is absolutely delicious, and portions are big BIG. The ladies who work there are incredibly nice. Prices wise - I’d say it’s even too cheap for such a good homemade meal. One of the best lunch/dinner restaurants.10/10

Ordered delicious food via Thuisbezorgd. Arrived quickly and hot. Also had a friendly delivery person at the door. The portions are really generous, you can eat them for at least 2 days. Only found the spring roll particularly disappointing. This was overcooked and tough. The rest was great. Ate 18/03. We chose 2 tipan dishes; shrimp and chicken. The chicken was wonderfully tender! The shrimp were perfect. The moment we smelled the smell of the tipan, we felt very hungry. And the owner is a lovely woman.

Very bad! Ordered here twice so far and did not receive the right thing (we gave it a second chance) paying extra for something you don't get such as a large container and a small one and the prawn crackers were not included otherwise the tjauw was minus not mixed well at all and the restaurant was no longer accessible... so in total I had 2 small containers of food for almost 30 euros!

Authentic chinese food-We took Setsuan chicken and Beijing duck. Delicious both!!! Strong recommendation for the place.

Food: The mushroom tastes a bit sour as it's not stored properly and getting bad. The fried rice is hard, it tastes like it's not freshly prepared and placed it outside long time. I hope I wouldn't get stomach after that. Atmosphere: There is a fly flying around. The table is not clean with stains and the metal for food-warming is also with stains. There are some yellowish powders on the plates. The bottle of spicy sauce is dirty with powders and dry sauce on the surface. Service: Nice and friendly people working there. Delicious food, friendly woman behind the counter, I feel at home when I come for a bite to eat

Many times I passed this restaurant and finally we took the opportunity to try their service. They have a wide range on their menu so we decided to share 3 dishes. What is really nice is that they bring some kind of heating items which they put on the table to keep the food warm. The dishes were delicious and were very big. After our visit we ordered from them several times and it was always good.

The food is always on time and always nice and hot. Staff super friendly. Enjoyed it again tonight, we always order the rice table for 2 people with some extra small starters. We make another plate from what is left the next day. This is our go-to restaurant when we really want to enjoy a delicious meal and their food is really worth it in terms of price. They are always on point, which is why we don't look any further and order from them more often. Ps. Never change a winning team..

I specifically asked for Roast Cantonese duck. I seen they have a picture on Google of very nice roast Cantonese duck. This picture is a lie and is not what they serve at the restaurant. If you want REAL roast containers duck you can find closer to Rotterdam centrum. Very disappointed they have a picture that lies

Eet niet vaak van afhaalrestaurants, omdat zij doorgaans teleurstellend zijn. Een paar keer Babi Pangang spek gehaald. De spek zeer goed, maar vaak te zout. De saus is in verhouding te waterig en flauw. Ik weet niet wat hier aan de hand is, maar ik ga hier nu echt niet meer naartoe. Vandaag wederom een teleurstelling met hetzelfde gerecht. De bami was niet lekker en smaakte raar, niet te definieren en de saus van de babi pangang had eveneens een heel rare bijsmaak, alsof er een overdosis sinaasappelschillen met een bittere bijsmaak in zat. Ben er wel klaar mee. Het ergste is dat het Shanghai Corner helemaal niet boeit of klanten tevreden zijn of niet.

12 december 2022 eten gehaald kipkerrie goed , de Babi pangang het vlees niet zo goed als andere keren moest flink kauwen, andere keren was het lekker mals, . Jammer dat de kroepoek er niet meer bijzit.

Heerlijk eten en leuke bediening. Ik kom hier al 37 jaar en heb al verschillende eigenaren gekend, maar de sfeer en eten blijft goed.

Goed vers eten met mihoen en qua taste.

Ik miste smaak.. hele flauwe hap, instant kip en de rijst doorgekookt, enige wat wel goed geregeld is was de bezorging maar die eet je niet op.

Beetje jammer dat bij opmerkingen nooit goed wordt bekeken! Paar x besteld gevraagd geen prei geen prei geen prei en wat krijg je, PREI!!! Ik snap ook niet dat je zwart gefrituurde loempia's plus gebarst kan meegeven!! Al die vet in de loempia's!!! Zo jammer!!! De gebakken bananen zijn ook te donker gefrituurd!! Dit noem ik nou echt zonder voor mijn geld!!!!!!

Als je hier Babi Pangang bestelt krijg je de saus en het krokante buikspek appart, GENIAAL. Echt heel lekker krokant en had ook een volle smaak, niet blindzoet (dat zoet het enige is dat je kunt proeven). Nasi goed gemengd, tja siew ook lekker. Hier bestel ik zeker nog wel een keertje.

Heerlijke nasi singapore en moksi meti. Wel een min punt heb ik en dat is dat ik al 2 x bami heb aangegeven bij de moksi maar al 2x nasi heb gekregen. Gebeld en er werd gezegd dat ik dat voortaan in de opmerkingen erbij moet zetten dat ik bami wil. Jammer hoor deze reactie
