I love this place and if I go out somewhere, this is my go to shop to take my friends. The staff is kind and will always try to help u if u don’t know what u want. The food is delicious. I love the noodles, rice and everything else! They also still make handmade noodles what really delegated them from the rest! I could never stop recommending them!

Even if the food is not delicious, the attitude is particularly bad. The tableware is not clean and I asked for a replacement. The landlady was reluctant to change it with a donkey face. The Coke we ordered was in a glass bottle, but there was no cup. She refused to give us a cup when we asked for it. She said the cups were for soy milk and asked us to use paper straws. We said that when the paper straw was put into the Coke, bubbles would overflow from the mouth of the bottle, but she actually told us to drink it quickly. Really laughed out loud.

Especially delicious Chinese noodle soup. Unfortunately poor service. Sometimes different meat in the soup than what you ordered. Hope it is incidental/one-off. Asked several times for extra napkins. Poor Dutch speaking staff. Not willing to deviate from the menu. In winter, heating is hardly turned on. On the other hand, orders are processed quickly and they make their own noodles in the kitchen. So you get fresh noodles in your bowl.

Always have a good meal here. Good authentic food, decent pricings and nice staff (lady who server me last spoke in both English and Dutch). Recommend the knife cut noodle soup and dumplings!

Fresh noodles with nice soup, the Szechuan spicy pork noodles is my favourite! I come here almost every single week. Especially when I work nearby, they try to make my food on time. Service is also amazing.

The noodles are good and the meat of the Roujiamo is good, but the pancake is too thick, like a hamburger bun, the pancake is unpalatable, not crispy, the sauce is not sweet, and there are a lot of green onions. The dumplings are a bit like those bought in Asia Super League.

After discovering this place last year, was a favourite, until last evening when my friend and I came in and waited for more than 30 minutes without anyone even attempting to take our order. I personally asked the waitress to come to us and still after ten minutes, no one came. All this while we watched people come after us getting their food. That was the last time, don't think i will be returning to this location. Maybe the one in Den Haag is better?

For a quick meal, this is a good place to go to. I had the chicken dumplings with sour soup. It was tasty and very filling. Loved the hot soy milk. They handpicked the noodles themselves.

Go there for some authentic food adjusted to European Spiciness acceptance level. One star below 5 because they don't serve alcoholic beverages

Delicious food, we had udon with seafood and beef. It was prepared quickly. Vegetables for an amateur, they were not bad for me. Affordable prices, you can eat if you haven't tasted it before.

Food was very tasty, everything was freshly prepared, highly recommended. The service was nice, but only as much as she had to.

I went to the restaurant with a friend. While eating his dish, he swallowed something hard, later he found out a piece of plastic inside his dish. After complaining we had still to pay the price of the dish. My dish was btw too salty. I won’t go there for a second time, that‘s sure.

This is my go-to Asian restaurant in Rotterdam, especially if I’m craving noodles. Consistently great value for money, since the portion sizes are very generous. The restaurant is quite cozy and the service is fast, although they have gotten our orders slightly wrong a few times (especially regarding the choice of noodle type). My favorite menu items are the ones in the first photo below, highly recommend all three! (And an extra pro tip: add some of the spicy chili oil into your noodles for extra flavor)

There was a metal piece in the noodles, the size of a piece you find on cans. The woman who works there didn't say anything about this, she didn't even apologize. You shouldn't come here for service anyway!!!

Very good, no nonsense place. Was super busy as well, but they were bringing out food at a fast pace. Both the boiled and the fried dumplings were to die for. We liked both the braised and the fried noodles. The portions are generous. Too bad they don't have the beef pies that their Den Haag branches have. But other than that, nothing to complain about.

How is it possible that a Chinese run kitchen allowed such a flavorless dish to come to our table? Something to be labeled as spicy, coming out bland as it did, almost feels like it was on purpose; as if the chefs looked at our table and decided that we weren't going to be allowed any flavor whatsoever. Ordered the Sichuan beef, tomato/egg noodle soup and spicy hot oil noodle, tasted all three, finished none of them. Even the soy milk was powder based. I'm offended even of how little love was put into our dishes. Sourly paid 45 euros and left. Never coming back

Food was really good but we had to wait for like an hour till the first dish came and by the time my friend finished eating mine arrived. Restaurant was not full to wait that much, there were lots of tables empty. They would give priority to delivery while lots of us were waiting to get served.

The service is fast, the waiter spoke good English. Quite cozy but noisy. We ordered noodle soup and local dumplings. I didn't really like the noodles, but everything else was good. In general, I recommend it. It is quite crowded here in the evening, you may not find a free table

Had a nice meal here! The noodles were very tasty and firm. The taste was good too. The crepe was too soft and tore open very easily causing the filling to fall out. Unfortunately, the taste was also just a bit too bland.

We knew the food was going to hit when they ignored us for 10 minutes and forgot to bring out the menus. Honestly the best noodles we’ve had in a while. Generous portions, no skimping out on the meat, great chili crisp oil. To top off the authentic experience the owner just dropped some to go boxes on our table without making any eye contact when we asked to take the leftovers to go. So we packed up our own leftovers, payed and left. 10/10 everything you want from a good Asian spot. No nonsense with great food. We will be back!

Once , 4 years ago , a favorite quick lunch Chinese noodlesoup place with fantastic handpulled noodles and handmade dumplings like one get when anywhere in China . None of that nowadays were all seems prefabricated and blant in taste and quality .

I can't say much about all the dishes because I always have the beef noodle soup and noodles (instead of rice) with beef. The beef is wonderfully tender and the taste of the sauce and soup are delicious!

The staff was so rude. I showed my discount deal when entering the restaurant and the waiter accepted it. Then when I went to pay he made up excuses and got very annoyed and said they stopped doing this deal since June. Apart from that the food was average. I do not recommend this place.

Today my girlfriend and I ordered noodles. I had the Szechuan soup with beef and rice noodles. My girlfriend the hot spicy noodles. I have eaten the dish I ordered more than once. At Xian Foods for the first time. The Szechuan noodle soup had no taste, absolutely none. The beef consisted mainly of fat. It was inedible, literally not. I also got normal noodles instead of rice noodles. I tried to season it with chili oil, but that didn't work. I left my food, still 3/4 full. Asked to remove it from the receipt when paying. At a normal restaurant there will be compensation for this. We received nonchalant and disparaging comments from the employees. It would always taste so “bland” and we should have known better. With difficulty they withdrew €4 from the bill. Dear Xian Foods, this was my worst experience at a restaurant so far. That's nice too. This was a first and last time for us.

The taste is good, and the steamed bun soup is good, but the steamed bun is basically bread, and it's a bit disgusting when soaked. The fried noodles are fragrant and spicy, and the spicy beef noodles are also pretty good. You can order shaved noodles, which are not listed on the menu. There is no free water, water costs one yuan a cup. On weekdays, there are so many people at seven or eight o'clock in the evening that you almost have to queue.

All I can say is that the food was delicious. This will become a firm favorite!

A few friends and I had dinner here, and they were so quick to deliver our food and, in general, it was a great experience! We ordered some gyoza to share and I ordered a broth with noodles and pork and I can assure you the portion was so big I couldn’t finish it. There was chilli oil on the side which was a perfect addition too. Overall, would definitely recommend as a very good and reliable choice for your meal!

The noodles are pretty nice! Even though the soup base could have been more flavorful, and the beef could be more tender. I enjoyed the meals. It is nice to visit if you miss the simple noodle soups or like to try the classic meals that Asians have daily. Would like to visit again.

Great noodle soups. Quite a large portion size for the price. I had the noodles with soy bean paste and was really happy with my choice. My friend had the noodle soup with chicken and was also very happy with it. The spicy hot oil noodles were also recommended to me by a friend.
