O'Pazzo in Rotterdam Centrum

Finalmente una buona pizza fuori dall’Italia!! Personale cortese, il cameriere addetto al servizio è italiano, lato negativo…il condimento al pomodoro per un bambino non può avere molto aglio

Wir haben mehrfach bei unserem Rotterdam-Aufenthalt in diesem Restaurant gegessen. Es bietet eine authentische , feine, italienische Küche mit fein abgestimmten Gewürzen. Mein Lieblingsgericht waren die Rigattoni rosso - als Vorspeise ein gemischter Salat dazu. Ein perfektes Gericht. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

De Engels sprekende mannelijke serveerder op vrijdag 4/7 met baard was uiters onbeschoft. Hij begreep ons totaal niet en gebaarde wild met zijn armen, zuchtte en sloeg met zijn hand voor zijn gezicht. Toen we vroegen waarom hij zo reageerde, zei hij dat hij alleen maar een goede bediende wilde zijn. Het is dat we naaar het theater moesten, want zo behandeld worden terwijl je een gast bent, zou eigenlijk betekenen om op te staan en nooit meer terug te komen. Later bond hij wel wat meer in. Het overige personeel was overigens wel aardig en vriendelijk!

Leuke zaak om te zien. Personeel vriendelijk. De calamari zijn recht uit de vriezer in een airfryer gegooid vermoed ik, erg droog, smakeloos met een mini potje saus wat met 2 calamari al op is. De vitello tonnato heeft absoluut nog geen hint naar tonijn, meer een soort hummus. Ook smakeloos. De pizza vroegen we met extra rode peper en extra knoflook. Je kon een paar flakes uit een potje zien, de knoflook zag en proefde we niet. Absoluut niet vers. De tomaat leek tomatenpuree, geen verse tomaat. Alleen in het midden wat kaas. Ook smakeloos, €18,50 per pizza. Echt schandalig slecht, vermijd deze plek, niet komen!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij O’Pazzo. Bediening was helemaal dik in orde en had echt passie voor het uitserveren van de gerechten. We hadden een verrukkelijke antpasti schotel vooraf. En als hoofdgerecht hadden we heerlijke pizza’s. Het restaurant ligt wel aan een drukke weg, maar als je binnen zit heb je daar sowieso geen last van. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Este restaurante nos lo recomendó el barman en el hotel Marriott. Fue un corto paseo desde el hotel y cuando llegamos el otro lugar no estaba ocupado en absoluto nos sentamos el servicio era solo un poco lento, pero para el domingo por la noche era de esperar. La comida era muy buena. Empezamos con una ensalada enorme que partimos y pedimos dos pizzas. Uno era grande, otro era pequeño, pero el pequeño salió como grande, pero lo honraron en la cuenta y cobra por uno pequeño. Tengo que admitir que la pizza era delicioso que no decepcionó y sin duda volvería. Las porciones son enormes, ya que vimos a alguien pidiendo pasta que no dejas con hambre. Sin duda volvería de nuevo. Para tu información no cortan la pizza en cuñas como en casa solo un aviso. No nos molestó, simplemente lo cortamos en cuñas con un cuchillo. Lo mismo hacen en Italia y en Amsterdam. Creo que es algo europeo.

Goede stek, lekker eten, vriendelijke bediening. Het is Italiaanser dan het in de eerste plaats lijkt. Vreemde tent, vreemde inrichting, uiteindelijk super.

Wir waren an einem Montag Abend zum Abendessen in dem Restaurant. Wir waren 10 Personen. Zum Glück hatten wir reserviert, sonst hätten wir keinen Platz mehr bekommen. Alle Tische waren belegt! Wir hatten zusammen 6 verschiedene Vorspeisen, von Antipasti über Tintenfischringe, Vitello Tonato, Tatar... Es war alles sehr lecker. Als Hauptgang habe wir uns ebenfalls durch die Karte probiert, Fisch und Fleischspeisen, als auch die Pizzen waren ausgesprochen lecker. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön italienisch eingerichtet. Das Personal sehr zu vorkommend und sehr freundlich. Das Personal hat sehr gut Deutsch gesprochen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen, und würde bei einem erneuten Besuch in Rotterdam sofort wieder kommen.

Tenía una pizza sin gluten. Estaba seco sin apenas mozzarella ni pesto. En el menú se describía el jamón de parma como en tiras. En realidad eran pequeños trozos esparcidos por la parte superior. Muy decepcionante.

Restaurante Fantastisch! Camareros muy serviciales y agradables. Tenemos una mesa cerca del horno de pizza - genial para ver cómo estaban trabajando los cocineros.

Wat een geweldig restaurant in midden Rotterdam. We werden enthousiast ontvangen en geweldig in de watten gelegd door het, op en top, vriendelijke bedienende personeel. Geweldige locatie met geweldig eten! Dus zeker een aanrader

Ik ging op zondag met vrienden naar de nieuwe vestiging van O'pazzo in Rotterdam centrum. Ondanks de zeer vriendelijke bediening zou ik deze zaak ernstig afraden! De zaak is sfeerloos en nog belangrijker het eten is ondermaats en ook de wijn die ik had ( een rode montepulciano) was zeer slecht! De salades die we hadden besteld waren nagenoeg oneetbaar doordat ze blijkbaar de zoutbus hadden geleegd erboven terwijl de salade al kappers en zoute kaas bevatte; daarnaast was de dressing mierzoet; echt ver ondermaats! De pizza had blijkbaar te lang op de pas gestaan want de kaas was al gestold toen ik deze kreeg. Bij het afrekenen zag ik dat ze andere pizza 's ook erg lang lieten staan alvorens uit te serveren. De pasta carbonara was een sober hompje die ik nooit meer zou bestellen. Echt zonde van het geld!

We besloten Opazzo een tweede kans te geven, maar helaas was ook deze ervaring teleurstellend. Onze eerste keer bij de locatie aan de Meent viel al tegen: de pasta carbonara was totaal niet romig, gewoon droge pastaslierten met stukjes ei en spek. Daarnaast kwam er om de twee minuten iemand vragen of we nog iets wilden bestellen, wat op zich vriendelijk was, maar het voelde alsof we gehaast weg moesten. Deze keer gingen we naar de locatie aan het Schouwburgplein, in de hoop op een betere ervaring. Helaas moesten we ruim een half uur wachten voordat onze drankjes werden opgenomen. Vervolgens viel het eten opnieuw erg tegen: de inktvisringen waren taai en draderig, er kwamen soort elastische draden uit, het vlees smaakte niet goed en was erg droog. Het broodje met truffeltapenade werd ijskoud geserveerd – totaal niet zoals je zou verwachten. Daarbij betaalden we €80 voor slechts twee wijntjes en twee voorgerechten, wat absoluut niet in verhouding stond tot de kwaliteit van het eten en de service. Toen ons werd gevraagd of het smaakte, gaven we eerlijk onze mening, maar hier werd niet op gereageerd. Erg jammer, want met betere service en meer aandacht voor kwaliteit had dit misschien nog gered kunnen worden. Helaas geen aanrader.

If you are from Turkey, you should definitely experience this place. Great pizzas and wines. However, if you do not have a reservation, you will have to push your luck at the door.

The restaurant is actually always full. And when you eat there you will understand why. Delicious food, fantastically beautiful and atmospheric restaurant and the service is excellent. They have their act together here.

The grilled fish was flavorful, but it was slightly overcooked—perfecting the cooking time would improve the dish.

The risotto was creamy and well-seasoned, but it was slightly undercooked—ensuring the rice is fully done would make it perfect.

Lekker gegeten, wij hebben bewust voor de oude locatie gekozen omdat deze niet met blok tijden werkt. Helaas moet je hier ook uit flessen water drinken ipv kraanwater. Dat zou de hele hospitality sector eens aan moeten pakken.

Amazing Italian restaurant! Creamiest carbonara and delicious deserts! Best part though was the bathroom visit, where you can listen to psalms 😅

Cozy atmosphere, great food, fair price, but lacking in service. I ordered Paccheri alla Genovese, but when the dish arrived they had replaced the Paccheri with Penne because they had run out of Paccheri. I find it a very rude and patronizing attitude to bring you something different to what you order and just give an explanation when confronted. It is ok if they run out of a specific dish, but they should have informed me when I ordered it instead of bringing something different and hoping that I would not notice or care.

Food with a wow effect! This is a rare experience!

Been coming here all my life. Haven't been for a long time due to corona, went by again this week and it is and remains the best pizza in Rotterdam! I wasn't a fan of the taste of the deconstructed tiramisu, I prefer a traditional one on the menu, but still a good meal.

Very nice case. Tasty food and excellent service. An extensive, affordable menu. A visit to the toilets is definitely recommended 😉 We will definitely come back!

Food was great as always but the experience was very rude and third class. It was our 4th wedding anniversary and I went there with pregnent wife. We have been at Opazzo several times in past. We are non alcoholic. This was first time when the waitress told me that we must order a drink. I know that this happens a lot in Europe but it happened for the first time at Opazzo with me. Anyways, later she allowed. However, after talking orders we became invisible. She came behind our table but literally ignored me. We awaited more than 10 minutes for getting the sweet menu. I think it is time to part my ways with Opazzo. Thank you ruining my experience!

Super tasty Italian food. The pizzas are grilled using wood fire. The desserts are also mouth watering. Definitely will be going back soon.

I have Sicilian blood, and I'm crazy about Italian cuisine. This is our first time eating here. The kitchen is not bad. The pizzas are quite good. And a very important thing there: the dough is very well made, it is the right thickness, cooked very well and above all very digestible. And too often it is not. The wine is great, there is one that I loved. Particularly and which I was happy to find on the menu: Etna Rosso (tenuta delle terre nere). I wanted some good pasta, and I was a little disappointed with the menu on that point. I had to settle on a carbonara. The pasta was rather well cooked and good, but I found the carbonara far too creamy, the pancetta was a little too strong and although I really appreciated the dosage and the taste of the pepper, I found the dish a a little too dense and too salty. The dessert was fun, not traditional at all (don't imagine eating a real tiramisu). I think the ice creams are very good (there is some in the tiramisu!). It wasn’t too sweet (I often fear that with desserts). It was ok, but something was missing. It’s a bit of chaos, that’s okay but we’re not going very far. In any case it was nice. We had a great time even though the restaurant was very noisy. The service is great. We are very well received, full of sincere smiles and we don't particularly wait despite the number of tables. We'll come back :)

It is a great place, a safe option for my daughter who has celiac disease. I recommend having the bruschetta, which is very delicious. The bathrooms are very positively weird with the religious atmosphere. Maybe it's a Dutch thing, but the staff were a bit impatient when we were ordering. However, they were professional. Next time I'm in Rotterdam, I'll definitely pass by.

We come to O'pazzo Blaak several times a year. Today we were in the neighborhood spontaneously, but this time we brought our Golden Retriever with us. Contrary to our expectations, he was very welcome, a bowl of water was immediately brought for him and we could also order a nice portion of ham at a reasonable price. Very nice!

Pizza is very nice (all of them), side dishes well prepared! Service was immaculats, havent seen better in my life. From inside it looks nice and cozy, so atmosphere is nice

The margherita pizza was delicious, with thin crust and the right amount of toppings. The price was also fair. The dessert menu was a bit lacking tho, and the items were a bit expensive compared to the main food menu. Our waitress was very nice, 10/10 service. If you visit definitely check out the bathrooms downstairs.

Bad experience this time with Opazzo, yesterday we ate here with 9 people. Our mother, who is almost 80, wanted a 0.0 beer and the waiter said to her, believe it yourself, 0.0 does not exist, there is also no possibility for the elderly to go to the toilet because of the scary stairs, all in all, not worth repeating. ...

O'Pazzo is still one of my favorite restaurants in Rotterdam. Why? Because the atmosphere is truly authentic Italian, the staff knows their trade and the food never disappoints. The menu continually surprises regular guests with new options, while the 'classics' are still of good quality. Reservations in advance are often required, as the place is often full. And that is right.

Ci sono stato due volte, pizza molto buona, spago “avvongole” ottimo! Avrei usato un numero 5 ma credo si debbano allineare con le richieste locali.

The inside of the store is very nice. The huge oven and various decorative details give it an Italian feel. The pizza dough was light and delicious, but some of the toppings were too salty.

Went here for dinner with a group. The organizer of the outing knew the owner. Agreed to let the chef make the choice for the evening, his choice in 4 courses. And what corridors. Delicious and super well cared for. A beautiful location where you look around in amazement after amazement. A coin tree, a pizza oven with squid tentacles. A sewer pipe system when you have to go to the toilet, ha where you are sung by a choir. A gigantic wine cellar, and a beautiful bar... so much more!!! Beautiful and super good service that completes the experience!

Vrijdagavond wezen dineren. Helaas niet echt een positieve ervaring. Het duurde erg lang voordat de drankjes opgenomen werden. Vervolgens werd de bestelling verkeerd opgenomen. Waardoor we een verkeerd gerecht hadden. Deze teruggestuurd. Vervolgens kwam naar 10 minuten het nieuwe gerecht. Echter was het weer misgegaan. Uiteindelijk meer dan een uur op de goede bestelling gewacht. Hierdoor was het andere gerecht koud. Erg jammer van miscommunicatie binnen de bediening. Helaas dus geen positieve ervaring.

Fix your take away or do not provide it, unacceptable to wait for 2 hours.

My pizza came with the ingredients in clumps (see photo), which made it surprisingly hard to get good bites out of the pizza. Seemed too silly to send back but really did make the experience worse. Waiters also weren’t very attentive and took a while to simply get water.

Food is the best, service is the worst. If you're willing to wait for a long time for service with attitude to have a delicious meal, then this place is for you.

Top, goede bediening, lekkerrrrrrr, vriendelijk, altijd welkom, fantastische pizza's, voelt als familie, beetje duur maar absoluut waard.

The food is fine, slightly on the pricey side for what is on offer. But what a tragedy when it comes to service: wine not poured, dirty glasses, forgotten orders, grumpy waitresses, the list goes on. Fine for one time, but that's it.

Very tasty meal. The pizza was served quickly. Staff are friendly and do their work with great enthusiasm. The restaurant is easily accessible by metro. Get off at Blaak and walk there in about 10 minutes.

Good atmosphere but the pizza was very average and the service slow. Would not recommend and we'll not be back. It is very bad value as well as it is rather expensive.

At lunchtime all seats outside are reserved. However, this only serves to ensure that no one looks for a place without the efficient and quick-witted service noticing. Main dishes on the extensive menu range between 12 and 28 euros. There are vegetarian and vegan alternatives, but no lunch specials. I choose the pizza "O'Pazzo Due (tomato sauce, mozzarella, four different cheeses (Passendale, Gorgonzola, Taleggio, Parmesan), anchovies, capers, black olives, garlic, red pepper, oregano, rocket and basil.)" . The base is thin and crispy, the topping is a poem. Garlic is charged extra. The small bottle of still water has apparently been refilled. There are black marks in the scratched lid (see photo) that definitely don't belong there. It will be replaced immediately and there will be no explanation or apology from the service. Mittags sind draußen alle Plätze reserviert. Dies dient jedoch lediglich dazu, dass sich niemand einen Platz sucht, ohne dass der effiziente und schlagfertige Service es mitbekommt. Hauptgerichte der reichhaltigen Karte liegen zwischen 12 und 28 Euro. Es gibt vegetarische und vegane Alternativen, aber kein Mittagsangebot. Ich entscheide mich für die Pizza "O'Pazzo Due (Tomatensauce, Mozzarella, vier verschiedene Käsesorten (Passendale, Gorgonzola, Taleggio, Parmesan), Anchovis, Kapern, schwarze Oliven, Knoblauch, rote Paprika Paprika, Oregano, Rucola und Basilikum.)". Der Boden ist dünn und knusprig, der Belag ein Gedicht. Knoblauch wird extra berechnet. Die kleine Flasche stilles Wasser ist offenbar wiederbefüllt. Im zerschrammten Deckel finden sich schwarze Spuren (siehe Foto), die da bestimmt nicht hingehören. Sie wird sofort ausgetauscht, eine Erklärung oder Entschuldigung seitens des Service bleiben aus. Uncozy atmosphere, very old-fashioned decor

The pizza was really tasty. It's really worth it. I must say that it is incredibly busy and that was less pleasant for me. It is a super large restaurant and therefore one large open space. It's difficult to actually have conversations with your tablemates. That's too bad.

This is such a lovely restaurant in the heart of Rotterdam! Our food was delicious, especially the pizzas and desserts. The restaurant itself is so beautifully decorated, and the service was friendly and very attentive. We had a fantastic time here and will definitely be returning.

We have been to this extraordinary place several times. The pizza was cozy, special, very delicious every time, and they quickly responded. The beer was also fresh. It is also worth sitting inside, the place is unique.

The food is really very good and the dessert was first class. I paid just under €51 for 2 people with drinks, food and dessert, which is absolutely worth the price as the food is absolutely worth it. The restaurant was easy to find, you definitely have to get there early or make a reservation because otherwise all the seats are full is very popular. You can eat both inside and outside, and the restaurant is also wheelchair friendly.

We had the Luck to find this very beautiful restaurant where we spent a lovely time. The antipasti and the dessert were marvellous. The waitresses and waiters were very attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Yesterday we went to O'pazzo for the second time. The first time we had a delicious pizza and we were satisfied with the service, which is why we wanted to go again. This time there was a discount promotion because of the restaurant's 25th anniversary, which made the prices very attractive. The discount menu included a starter, a main course and a dessert. The entrees were customized based on our preferences as we are vegetarian. The service was again excellent. For the main course we ordered risotto and pizza Pollo. The risotto was very tasty, but unlike last time we did not find the pizza tasty. We didn't like the taste of the chicken and the tomato sauce. Despite this, the live music and rustic atmosphere of the restaurant made for a fun experience, and we were once again very pleased with the service.

Definitely worth a visit! Very good food and friendly staff. Clear recommendation. A reservation is recommended.

Another delicious meal! This time with a little one who was just 1 year old. Unfortunately, all the highchairs were taken, but I still took the chance to hold her on my lap. But the lady turned out to be very helpful and got an extra high chair further down the road. Class, what a service!
