Uodate 2026,Sept The burgers are not great anymore, a bit overcooked. The vegetarian one was good so I recommend it. But it comes with fries and the portion is so small... It was more generous before.. Please don't be so mean for a few fries. You have a great reputation, don't start ruining it for a few fries. We also ordered the ones in a plate and also there, the plate was very much empty... ============= If you want to have a good pint of Guinness or cider, this is a place to be. The pub is big, I like the decor, especially the room inside where you feel to be at home, in a cozy living room. Staff is usually friendly. Too crowded when there is some popular sport event because they have screens to watch the game.

The atmosphere is very reminiscent of a classic Irish beer house, which is pleasant.

Really good place to chill, authentic Irish food and many choice of Irish beer, price is also reasonable.

Had 2 Guinness there and my wife had a gluten free pilsner lager. Football was on so if visiting and don't like sports see what's on Thier website. We didn't mind as it adds to atmosphere and the Dutch lads next to us felt the atmosphere shouting and cheering. We didn't eat so can't comment on it but it looked good and plenty of people were eating. There seats outside under cover that are heated also. Great if you're in the area fancying some Irish charm. The staff tmwere polite and great.

Another home away from home for me when I'm in Amsterdam is place is a must. Thank you for providing a Gr8 place to hang out.

What a great place! Cozy, typical atmosphere that belongs to an Irish Pub. Friendly service and incredibly good food. We had the Beef Stew and Cottage Pie. Both were delicious.

We came here for an Irish breakfast after arriving in Amsterdam and it was exactly what we needed! We found the service to be prompt and atmosphere was very welcoming.

Good spot. Only reason I have a 4 on the atmosphere is the quality of the pour varies a lot by bartender. Some pull a proper pint and others don’t. Just mind you get one who does and if you do it’s a really good bar!

I had such a lovely experience at this pub, and a big part of that was the amazing service from all staff, specifically Monty. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout, and made us feel genuinely comfortable from the moment we arrived. She had such a warm personality and a great way of making guests feel looked after without being overbearing. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and she made our visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a credit to the pub — we’ll happily come back!

The spicy chicken burger was incredible, although very messy and I basically had to eat the rest that fell on my plate by fork. The sauce was tasty and pretty spicy. The staff are friendly and quick. Although the initial service took a bit of time, but maybe that's just how pubs work. The mojito had so little sugar and tasted too strong, a little disappointing but maybe that's just my taste. The bathrooms are terrible, feels like I'm slowly descending into public execution. And they're dirty, so I recommend just going elsewhere. It wasn't too loud, surprisingly. Easy to talk, just with chatters happening in the background. But some people be laughing way too loudly. I also love Ireland so yippee z 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪!

One of the best salads I have had in awhile and the service was lovely!

At first glance, it looks like a typical Irish bistro. Very good atmosphere, mostly students serving, which was not a problem. The problem was the food, expensive and unsatisfactory. However, they also have a selection of Irish beers and whiskey. Good for a drink, but I would eat somewhere else.

Just arrived from Scotland and Ireland with a few days in England and so we walked into O’Reilly Irish pub. Not as bright as the pubs in Ireland. Specifically Dublin. Fish in Ireland is hake. Here it was cod. Still a white fish. Batter close but Dublin is thicker with more crunch. Lots to chose from. Burgers and real Irish type stew. I’ll try that my next visit. Stop in. Staff is cool. Grab a table and get some real food. Not fast food. Coke is more expensive than a beer. So chose wisely. Next time I’ll have a Guinness. It’s a charming place to hang out and enjoy your food for sure.

We stopped off for a snack and enjoyed some ice cold cider and a sausage butty with Irish sausages and Irish butter. Would highly recommend. And great staff working there.

For a large bar it has a layout that can give you small bar feeling in the snug, or big bar energy for big sports ball games, so many screens at all angles. Sunday Lunch is regular favourite and the Guinness is top notch.

An Irish pub this is not. This would be better described as a loosely-themed Irish-ish sports bar. While the servers were nice and attentive, and the drinks were solid, the food I found to be substandard, even by Amsterdam standards. The stew was overly sweet with meat that I could barely chew through. This was served with a piece of brown bread so hard it seemed like yesterday's Albert Heijn discount sliced bread. Being served in a little tray overly reminicent of an American Airlines meal tray did not help, given the unfortunate similarity in the flavor profiles. I would return here for drinks and 80's music, but eat elsewhere.

Excellent staff and decent food at what for Amsterdam is a reasonable price.

A very relaxing atmosphere straight up to a busy street near the center of Amsterdam. The staff keeps clam during very busy times and they greet you with a smile. Food (chicken sandwich) was very good for the price and just what we needed at the time.

Popped in for an early dinner, kid friendly with sausage & chips or fish & chips on the kids menu. Service was Okay, definitely room for improvement as the staff didn't seem bothered, had to ask for a menu and how to order. Food on the other hand was fab! A delicious burger and chips, nice pint of Magners! Had a lovely meal, would recommend for food or drink! Lots of seating and booths inside. Toilets could do with some decor they are pretty sterile!

OMG THIS IS SOOOO GOOOODD I always come here for guinness, and my Irish friend tells me to eat here because it's very good. And he is absolutely right. Definitely coming back next time for food

We had an amazing time at this bar! The atmosphere was fantastic, especially for watching the FIFA World Cup. We made a reservation in advance and were given a perfect table with a great view of the screen, which made the whole experience even better. The selection of drinks and snacks was excellent, and everything we tried was really good. A special thank you to Monty! She replied to my messages on Instagram, helped us with the reservation, and was incredibly kind from the very beginning. When we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. Her charisma, sense of humor, and positive energy truly light up the place. She is definitely one of the reasons this bar feels so special. Thank you for such a memorable evening. We would happily come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

What a great experience here in the heart of Amsterdam. The atmosphere in this place is exactly what you are looking for for a cozy afternoon or evening. The food was truly high-quality comfort food; the casserole with a perfect golden-brown crust tasted particularly delicious. The drinks were also excellently presented. For instance, the glass with the green straws and the slice of lemon was a refreshing choice. I will definitely be back here soon.

We stumbled upon it completely by chance 😄 It was the only place that seemed welcoming, warm, open, and spacious. We ate very well 👍 The portions were decent. We had a lot of Irish beers 🍺🍻 because it was the middle of a heatwave. Great atmosphere, good vibes, we stayed there for a while but never felt uncomfortable. Being from Ivory Coast 🇨🇮, it was my first time in an Irish pub 🇮🇪. An experience to repeat! I highly recommend this place!

Waiting over an hour for a drink, ended up leaving before our drink came because the wait time was absolutely ridiculous, do no recommend.

Cool place! We went there twice as a group! Great service...fast, fun, and friendly. The food, according to those who had a meal, was good too.

Went here for shots yesterday, and there was a shard of glass in my shot.. I had drunk the shot and then felt something weird in my mouth; I took it out and it turned out to be a shard of glass. Pretty dangerous! I reported it to the bar and they just said sorry. The people I was with did have another drink later and got two free drinks. But I didn't think it was very polite.

Went to watch the Champions League semi- very busy, lots of screens to watch sport. The Guinness was delightful! The wait/ bar staff were rushed off their feet. But I always got my drink delivered promptly and they remembered where I was ‘perched’ on a stool in the middle of the pub!— I will try & get back for food( but not on a big game night).

An Irish pub that doesn't know how to make Irish coffee... The young woman at the reception desk is rather unfriendly and takes less time clearing an empty glass than taking the order.

We went here 9 people without a reservation to watch a champion’s league game, the staff was very accommodating and went beyond to make sure to find us a table that we would fit, really recommend this place, great beer selections and atmosphere.

Found O’Reilleys completely by chance, but glad we did. Phenomenal Guinness and good craic. Ordered some wings and nachos whilst we were there, absolutely delicious! The team really looked after us. We headed back the next two days because it was that good. Jeep up the good work, will be back next time I’m in Amsterdam! 🙌👍🏻

Yesterday, we asked the blonde waitress for Guinness several times, but she never brought it, so I had to go to the bar myself. To make matters worse, they brought the bill and tried to charge my wife and me for the four beers we had already consumed, even though I had already paid for them each time I went to the bar. The blonde waitress even yelled at us. In short, the service was terrible, and we do not recommend this place.

Food was good beer was good. Good prices. Staff were lovely.

City break in Amsterdam, I didn’t want miss the premier league football match- Arsenal vs Bournemouth. I heard that O’reilly’s was showing the game. So perhaps a Guinness and a full Irish breakfast. Great atmosphere, fantastic service. Excellent food!

I stopped here multiple times on my stay, and they do great Guinness. They have a small bar area to sit and it was great to talk to other tourists in the city. I was very welcomed and the staff were friendly. I did not get food so I cannot comment on that. The decor of the pub is great and made me feel at home. Would recommend!

The drinks were great, with a good selection of beers, and the food was satisfying and well-prepared — perfect for a relaxed night out. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere. It was lively, warm, and authentic, with that classic pub energy that makes you feel comfortable right away. Whether you’re visiting with friends or just looking for a fun place to unwind, it’s a great choice. Definitely a spot I’d visit again when in Amsterdam! 🍻

Saw a mouse run through the pub multiple times. Seemed from staff that it was a regular occurrence and it was just normal. I understand due to the canals that there are many mice in Amsterdam, but they should not be in establishment serving food. More needs to be done by staff/owner to eradicate this issue. Ie. More work with pest companies to seal up entrance points. Mouse entered from back of pub “library” area and not from front door.

Great place for a beer and a bite. The Asian wings were superb and the Guinness requires no explanation. Sláinte!

We went here for Sunday dinner and it was very nice. Also tried the cottage pie with bread and that was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and fast at serving. Nice atmosphere inside the pub. Only let down was too much ice in the soft drinks.

A wide variety of drinks and tasty food at a fair price. The atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed. Only one waitress was a little rude during service, which detracted from the overall quality of the service.
