Nice location and decent food/drinks. However, it took an hour for our food to come, and when we politely asked the waitress if the food was still coming, she gave my parents a very rude and passive aggressive answer. There was not even an apology. Quite disappointed by this experience.

The staff were just the most arrogant, uninterested staff I've ever had the mispleasure of meeting. They slammed my drinks down on the bar. The Guinness was awful and the food was just the dryest piece of cardboard I've ever had the mispleasure of attempting to eat. Not recommended. Stay clear

I had the entrecot on my first day here in beautiful Amsterdam and the evening before I left in had the fish and and chips. Both great choices. Loved it, the fries and salad I recommend 👌

Had a wonderful afternoon enjoying Irish beer, Kilkenny, delicious beef and Guinness pie, football, and Formula 1. Plenty of screens showing sports. Heated terrace right on Museumplein. Inside, it's almost like a real Irish pub, like you'd find in Ireland. Prices are on the high side, but the atmosphere and entertainment more than make up for it.

Nice spot location wise, but otherwise a tourist trap. Overpriced even for Amsterdam standards and on top of that, charges even customers to use the bathroom.

I don't usually post reviews, but I just wanted to let you know that the owner, who was the best, lacked any kindness whatsoever. I was with three friends, and before we could even order, we were thrown out because we were a "group." Afterward, we were having a drink in the cafe next door, and then the man at Saint James Gate gave us the finger without any shame. Luckily, we laughed it off, but this is just too bizarre for words.

The Irish stew was nothing to write home about. The gravy in it was thin and the flavoring was average. The stew and one beer cost me a little over 30 euro.

Nice Irish pub in a good location, offering classic bar food and a solid selection of beer. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Prices were a bit on the higher side for what you get, but overall it was an enjoyable stop.

Stopped here twice during our stay in Amsterdam. Once for an after dinner drink and once for dinner and drinks. Not fancy. I did like that they had blankets out because it was cold the first night we stopped. Food was tasty and delivered quickly. There is no host so it was a little weird trying to figure out the seating, but all in all a good place.

Fine for a drink and a bite to eat, but not very special. The service could be better, we had to wait a long time before we were helped

Good service but i got a wine bottle that costs €3 in the supermarket for €40 here. And it tastes very bad . I think for €40 you can expect atleast a little bit good wine right?

A very nice, typical Irish bar with good beer and food. Great music and atmosphere, and especially the service. Mateo served us in Spanish and was incredibly attentive. Highly recommended.

Wir waren hier auf einem Samstagmittag. Hatten uns einen Tisch gesucht und gewartet. Nach einer Weile wurde die Speisekarte gebracht. Wir haben zwei Bier bestellt. Leider hat es auch etwas gefeiert. Ich muss den vorhergehenden Bewertung Recht geben die Bedienung ist wirklich nicht sehr freundlich aber das ist sehr gemütlich. Schön dunkel und bequem und bei einem Guinness sieht man sogar über die Bedienung hinweg Also zu empfehlen, wenn man einfach ruhig das Essen und Trinken will . Wenn man vom Kellner verwöhnt werden will, nicht zu sehr.

My food was really good. I got the fish and chips which was really fresh, crispy and tasty as I like it! Big portion as well for the big price. Drinks as usual, nice draft Guinness was going down fast. The stuff looked busy, because most of the time they did not catch my calling or waving. Also they said that we can not payed separately which was a huge lie, because in the end we did so. Nice place for more people, foodwise lovely for sure

There is a racist waitress who has an attitude towards non-white people that's abhorrent and absolutely despicable. Totally opposite to how Irish people are in Ireland. Best to avoid. Nothing in common with the fighting Irish who give a shit about other cultures.

Were in Amsterdam for a short trip over a few days. The service was super good and it was quick too. Good atmosphere, nice ambience and fair prices. Would come back immediately!!!!!!

While traveling in the Netherlands, I stopped by an Irish pub. Seeing as there were a lot of British guests, I expected it to be traditional British and of a high standard. I ordered English breakfast and fish and chips, and both were delicious. The English breakfast was good except that the bacon was a bit salty, and the toast was especially well-cooked and delicious. The fish and chips were grilled a bit thickly, but they were evenly cooked on the inside and there was no fishy smell at all. The house beer had a light lager style feel. The fish and chips are in the upper-middle class even by local British standards, so it's worth recommending.

They wouldn't put the rugby on, so we went to Cocos Aussie bar to watch Munster play... go figure.

Good choice of draft beers, nice terrace with heating and blankets, nice atmosphere, oke food. Not cheap though, but hey! It's Rembrandplein. We had a good waiter but in the Netherlands you never know what you get🤔. But don't try to speak Dutch, Dutch waiters don't exist anymore in Amsterdam.

It sounded like they were breaking or slamming dishes and glasses. Outside seating is better.

Amazing place for Irish Experience. Ideally located in Rembrandtplein, just infront of the square. Good selection of beers and other drinks. Snacks and Main Courses tasted good. Third visit....

Little bit expensive but on a sunday night they had a band, and everyone was dancing. Heating outside with blankets, it was very "gezellig!".

Very well located place with live sports broadcast, very lively, many types of draft beer and very good food. In addition, a Spanish waiter (Guillermo) who advised us and treated us wonderfully. Highly recommended

Overpriced. We asked for glasses for the beers and they didn’t bring any. We were asked to give the blankets back because there were closing and the guy just literally pulled up the blanket from my chair while I was standing. Terrible place, terrible service.

What unfriendly staff here... you can't help but smile and you clearly get the idea that they are not waiting for you... they also don't seem to like each other... don't work in a service profession if you don't feel like it... They charged 9 euros for a pint... in a big city in an Irish pub in Germany they charge 4.50 euros for this... they also have to pay their staff there... Amsterdam is pricing itself out of the market for its own population... nothing has been learned from this... the corona time....

Horrible service, waiters are too busy flirting instead of giving service. To top it off service is bad and we were given the wrong amount to pay off, when we said something about it, they seem not to care. Will avoid this place at all cost

They tried to scam us by putting the wrong price when we checked out. Acted like it was an accident. 2 small beers for 13.50. Be careful here, they will try to take adventage, never again! Also when it is busy, good luck getting your order through, terrible service.

Tuve una de las mejores experiencias de Fish & Chips en este restaurante hace solo dos días, así que estaba emocionada de regresar. Desafortunadamente, esta vez fue una completa decepción. El empanado del pescado, que antes era ligero y crujiente, ahora era espeso, denso y desagradablemente húmedo, haciendo que todo el plato se sintiera empapado. Fue un cambio drástico con respecto a mi última visita, lo que hizo que la inconsistencia fuera aún más frustrante. El servicio era promedio, y las porciones seguían siendo decentes, pero la calidad de la comida variaba demasiado. Cuando un restaurante ofrece un plato básico como Fish & Chips, la consistencia es clave. Con suerte, mi mala experiencia fue solo un día libre, pero me dejó vacilante en regresar pronto.

A great spot to sit and people watch with a glass of wine at any time of the year. Been a regular stop on visits to Amsterdam for years now, be it sitting under a heat lamp in winter or the shade of the parasols in summer, it’s probably the best place to pause for a while and watch the crowds in Rembrandtplein. Staff are always friendly and welcoming with quick service and reasonable prices

The pints are good and the food is delicious. Great vibe all around and the staff is mega friendly. Would highly recommend a Guinness with the Turkish bread

The 'Irish Breakfast' reads disappointing & pathetic from the menu & its actually worse in reality. Floor staff prompt & polite except for the manager giving off I'M THE MANAGER vibes. Bit sad. Overall like most of Amsterdam, don't set your hopes too high & you won't be disappointed.

Hello, five of us went to this location on a Friday evening. 5x Smirnoff Ice (€7 each) and 7 shots of tequila (€8 each) cost almost €100. That's a little too expensive for my taste. Otherwise the bar was okay, nice atmosphere, but the prices were too expensive.

Good Irish pub to watch the world go by. Foods pretty decent here love the stew. Big outside heated seating area facing the square. Need better lager selection.

Great location, but the rest was disappointing. We asked for a serving of humus with Turkish bread, expecting we’d get flatbread, but got served slices of a baguette which we were told came from a Turkish bakery. (?) The Irish coffee was watery, with very little whisky and topped with a lot of very sweet cream. The whisky and the coffee were not separated in the glass - very disappointing for a place which calls itself an Irish pub. We won’t go back.

This place is just amazing. Christmas decorations are fabulous. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Definitely go here if you are in Amsterdam

Our order got lost, but they noticed a bit later and finally brought it to us for free. The Glühwein and Wedges themselves were great.
