I went there around 9pm on Tuesday night and it was so busy with the long queue because of insufficient staff.

Really a rotten place, came here tonight, service is terrible. I know it might be my own choice, but I ordered a Guinness for Split the G and got a normal pint glass. Was not what I expected.

Draft Guinness really didn’t taste good (normally I enjoy it but this was too bitter and flat). Order anything else and it’s a nice place.

Great Pub. A little busy and you can get blocked from entering when it is too packed. The staff is not the friendliest but nothing deviating from a regular bar staff.

Super rude service. During the night hours they did not let my friend group and myself in but a lot of other blonde women. I don’t wanna label it the r-word, however, there was nothing except for the colour of our skins that were different. Would not recommed this location to any person of colour.

Spent a nice Saturday afternoon on the terrace. Burger was good, not exceptional but good. Prices reasonable. Service fine and friendly.

We went on Friday evening; naturally, it was packed. The service leaves much to be desired. We ordered 3 portions of spice bag right away, followed by 2 drinks. After waiting for an hour, we discovered that our order ticket had been lost, which can happen, but because of that, I gave one star less. The spice bag was fantastic; I haven't eaten such a tasty one even in Dublin.

Simone truly was a great bar tender to have. Knew when to serve and was great company. Together with Caitlin they were of great. Ask for Simone his margarita and you will have a great evening! Mio was a great addition and was of fast service.

The 1,50cm male bartender was the rudest waiter I’ve ever come across. Never been treated like this by a waiter. Yelling at me for no reason. Should be fired asap. That’s not how you treat loyal costumers.

Worst bar to watch soccer if it's busy. Bar owner is an absolute idiot shouting at us saying bye to our friends outside at the pedestrian lane. Horrible! Do not recommend. Service was also so unprofessional and incompetent.

I loved the place, so cozy and peaceful. We sat on the terrace and it was so pleasant with the weather. The person who served us was very friendly and attentive, and gave us great advice. The beer was delicious. If I ever return to Amsterdam, I would definitely come back to this place.

This used to be a regular haunt for us on our visits to Amsterdam but It’s quite clear that this place is either under new management or he been re-bought completely - The difference in service between now and when we last visited, 7 months ago - is like night and day. The menu still shows fried breakfast and sandwich options but they no longer serve these, the staff all appear very young (which isn’t a problem in itself) but spend more time gossiping and running around giggling than serving tables & the vibe is OFF. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Came here as it used to be a good place to get a decent fried breakfast. Unfortunately they no longer do fried breakfasts - had a burger instead which was OK, also the beer prices have rocketed here? Management appears to have changed along with the atmostphere, lots of excited adolescent teenagers now as staff, service and professionalism wasnt the best. Would advise to g to Aran Irish Pub Instead.

The place is really cool, the service is excellent, most of the staff speak English but the waitresses were very friendly and spoke to us in Spanish. Super stylish and nice. I recommend the Jägerbomb. The beer is delicious too.

We sat on the large terrace in the sun. The service was efficient and friendly. This is a real institution in the city. The same good atmosphere and friendliness for years. Delicious Betterballen (vegetarian bitterballen) and a good glass of wine that was generously poured.

Good atmosphere and music, very bad service (takes 20 mins of waiting to order a drink at the bar, you'll feel ignored). Also very crowded at peak times (hard to walk near the bar area).

The bitterballen were absolutely delightful, a perfect 10 out of 10! The mustard served alongside them was particularly exceptional. This establishment offers a very warm and cozy atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after a demanding workweek.

Bar stuff so rude and impolite, i felt ignored and discriminated. We where 20 min waiting in front of the bar and not even looked at me or my friends, they make u know you re not a local for sure. Never coming back.

Ordered 2 pints of Guinness here. I don't know what I was drinking but it definitely wasn't Guinness, even if I was high as a kite when I was here. Really weird almost grape-like taste to it, yuck. Staff did walk up to us outside to take our order even if almost no-one was sitting outside, but they told us they were closing off the outside section and asked us to come inside, after we ordered, as we were just starting to enjoy enjoy the ambience. Felt very rushed.

Bad service multiple times I was here. Takes a long time before I get my drinks we got the wrong drinks and its crazy that an Irish pub has such bad Guinness this guinnes was the worst I’ve ever had and it’s not served in a Guinness glass either

The service was rude and slow. They gave us a wrong and more expensive cocktail. When we said this they gave is the good one but still kept the more expensive one on the bill. The guinnes came in a normal glass and tasted like dog water. After we asked about it he never came back. I used to go here, but now ill never return.

We ordered 3 large Guinees and 1 mescal mule. They brough 3 Guinees that tasted like a old water barrel that wasint tapped as it should. Also they brought the wrong cocktail and still put it on the bill.

An ok pub but an Irish bar this is not. There’s nothing to distinguish it from any other standard bar. My friend and I got pint of Guinness there with big bishop’s collars and one was enough for us.

This is one of the best pubs in Amsterdam! I’m a regular customer and it never lets me down when I’m looking for a good time. The staff are so friendly and chatty, it really adds to the whole experience of being in an Irish pub. The waiters Oonagh and Neo are class craic. Oonagh actually sang a song for me tonight so I said I’d have to leave a review! So if you’re ever there keep an eye out for the ginger waitress and she might sing you a tune or two!

They are definitely thieves, I went for a coffee with my friends, one of them paid only his consumption in cash, I with my own eyes, in the end when paying the entire bill, we ordered, they brought us the bill and they were charging us for everything, including what my friend paid. The woman kept saying no and no and locked herself saying no, then my friends identified the waitress they paid and she indicated that it was correct, but they had already charged me the entire bill, they admitted their mistake, they only apologized and did not give us a refund, it was such an uncomfortable and unprofessional moment for these types of girls who do not know what they are doing.

Came for an early dinner. The pub was not full, and there were at least 4 staff working. But no one came to see if we wanted anything. The menu was subpar (burgers, sandwiches, and nachos) and apart from one breakfast dish no Irish fare. We left after a while and spent our money somewhere else. .

Came here couple of weeks ago during my holiday The bar staff are quiet rude, snappy and inattentive towards the customers it seems like taking our order is a problem for them especially from the lady who rolls her eyes at customers. Better bar staff is what this bar needs But there is good stuff too about this bar when we sat down we were served by a waiter named Alex and he honestly made us feel so much better after the bar people we dealt with. He is very attentive and funny and always serves you with a big smile and doesn't miss a beat to make us laugh! Atmosphere is warm in the bar to sit down and enjoy some beer and some snacks! Alex just makes the bar atmosphere way more welcoming and fun! 🌟

We love it here! This is our local Irish pub. They have good beers and food, great service and the staff go above and beyond. From helping us out with lost belongings to airing specific sports games. Extra thanks to the manager Danny for organising an AFL grand final event for us!

Can't believe I have to write a negative review on an Irish pub. I do have to write it though, as I've been reading through the reviews and I have seen others with the same experience from before our visit. Leaving me to wonder how this pub has such a high rating? We had many pints of Guinness in amsterdam, in different locations - this one was the worst. We were looking to have food and drinks. The place was busy enough but there was plenty of staff to take an order. We found a table easily enough too. Went to the bar to order 2 pints of Guinness, standing there for what felt like forever. Finally a young man took our order, poured step one of the pint, charged us and just disappears. A woman came by and started pouring loads of Guinness pints. I tried asking her to top off my pints and she just ignored me. It took about 15 mins to get someone elses attention after that. I felt like going around and sorting it myself. However, I waited. I was looking around the pub and thought its a bit busy, not as busy as it does be in Ireland - where you'd still get served in good timing. The blond woman behind the bar was just standing there(looking outside), continuing to ignore me. Finally a young man got behind the bar. I asked him about my pints and said the other man disappeared. He told me to wait for him!! I said absolutely not, you're both just standing there doing nothing. Then the blonde woman Finally topped off 2 pints and slammed them onto the bar. I'd have left in that moment, those pints shouldn't have been left so long and the service was so far, shocking. But wed already paid. We drank the pints, which were awful. But we said we'd have another one for the benefit of the doubt. Sitting at a table we were waiting on the wait staff to take an order. The table beside us had a group of men watching the match and were served twice while we were drinking our pints. My husband went to the bar and was served right away by the blonde woman. The pints this time were also terrible. The staff clearly can't pull a pint of Guinness and certainly don't know about good basic customer service. It's push back on the lever to finish a pint of Guinness, by the way. Our pints were finished about 20 minutes and we decided to leave at half time. Only when we were leaving did a waitress approach us and offer any food or drinks. We were right beside the bar. This waitress though, was very busy and probably the only staff member who was actually working. 1 star for the amount of tvs in the pub. We felt so unwelcome. There's a great Irish bar in Leidzeplein- I'd recommend trying there instead. Their Guinness and service was great!
