Delicious food, very friendly staff and comparatively very cheap food!

Congratulations to the staff and to the chef jossie San ! The food is tasty and well prepared, we tried sake and also was super good !! . I had the chicken rice bowl which was very abundant and I must say that the chicken was fabulous mixed with ginger and cabbage just makes it fresher and even more tasty !! Arigato ❤️

It's somewhere between Japanese soft takoyaki and Taiwanese version of hard takoyaki. The batter doesn't have a strong soupy flavor but you can taste the ginger. The sauce is very delicious~~~you can come back for unlimited visits

Osakaball is good and authentic BUT PLEASE: Do NOT take the Ramen from Ninja Ramen partnering with them >> 19 euros for a tiny bowl, 1 piece of meat, and it took us 15 minutes to get it ??!! Too bad the Osakaball people would allow such ads on their stand.

Incredible food stand that manages to distinguish itself in a street food market loaded with delicious meals all over. Albertcuypstrat market was amazing for those who live to eat and Osakaball is THE must go! Best takoyaki and okonomiyaki I ever had. Melt in your mouth texture and still a bit crunchy cabbage. It always looked better than it tasted and I couldn't understand its popularity. This is probably the best and authentic taste / experience closest to home though it's underwhelming if you compare this to what you can get in Asia. Teriyaki chicken rice is too bland. Takoball and gyoza is delicious. Tako chef is friendly and helpful.

Very good place to eat Japanese food. You can see the takayokis being made live, we tried the originals and the ninja teriyaki but I would recommend the originals better for flavor. We also ordered the okonomiyaki and the fried chicken gyozas. Everything was tremendous and the waiters are very friendly and attentive.

Great, tasty and authentic okonomiyaki and takoyaki. They even have Japanese curry (カレー)! Very family friendly place as well. They found some toys for my daughter to play with while we waited, and treated her very well 👍

I normally don't leave reviews unless it gets me something free or I hated my experience, but this is a first - they didn't ask me to review them either! The kind people working at Osakaball were so lovely! The experience couldn't have been better. I wanted to try their cool flavors of takoyaki as a takoyaki lover myself. They allowed me to get a variety in my order, and they were all delicious! They also got a heater for us to use while inside, without us even asking. Their fried chicken karaage was actually the best chicken I have ever had in my life. My dad who is from the Philippines said that he hasn't had chicken this good since moving away >25 years ago. So crispy, tender, and juicy. I don't even usually like chicken. I only had it because my sister loves chicken. This easily made my whole Amsterdam experience! So affordable and delicious. I haven't had okonomiyaki since I first got to try it in Japan, and it tasted just like it did so many years ago! 100/10 recommend them for a great time.

I was on Japan Korean food festival in the Hague on malieveld. It was really great, the hole show. The welcome and bye in Japanese language i really like. I really like japan and it give me a little feeling that i was in Japan when i was waiting and watching the live cooking from the takoyaki. And after that. I try on many places takoyaki but osaka balls amsterdam winssss. The taste was really great. Never eat it before like this. Thanks guys!!!

Osakaball provides the most authentic Japanese food I have had outside of Japan itself. It is very rare to find Japanese food of this quality in an unfussy, easy-going, and affordable restaurant. I had 3 days in Amsterdam and came here 3 times. If I had 3 more days, I would come back 3 more times. It really is that good. The Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki taste just like what you get in Osaka. The ramen is incredible. The Karaage is beautifully seasoned and perfectly crispy. I really can not overstate how much I love this place.

I ordered food through Uber Eats and I am VERY VERY disappointed. The pancakes with “pork” consisted of two slices of bacon, it was way too thick. And probably because they know how gross this is, they cover the whole thing with a terribly sweet teriyaki sauce. As if that will disguise the quality. Furthermore, the takoyaki was undercooked on the inside and very salty. The price isn't too bad either. I hate that I paid so much for such food WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I was looking for an authentic cafe similar to JapaKen in the market, but the food didn't impress me. It's suitable to satisfy hunger, but not for enjoying a memorable meal

Rice looked dry. Look like microwave rice. Curry is rather warm to cold. Definitely not hot. After eating it, I feel my stomach stirring. I feel not comfortable. Staff look nice and energetic. Sorry today’s food experience not good.

um.. we only wanted to try the takoyaki cuz they looked very good (they were) but then we ordered some karaage too (ngl best choice ever) i can't even explain how good they tasted. um...... and then we ended up getting a rice bowl too.. 10/10. waiters and service was also on point and soo friendly.

We stopped for a snack but kept ordering so we stayed for a full meal! The food was so good, and the staff very welcoming and kind. The kids loved it and we're nicely full. Highly recommended.

Super duper ultra guest free food is not pricey but not cheap either but the food is top quality I took the Japanese curry karaage which was the best choice when I took a bite I flew to the moon (figuratively) highly recommended I see this place is high, I will come back anyway, I will tell my neighbors and friends, also super friendly

Amazing. A strictly better version of a Japanese takoyaki stall (most, at least). The okonimayaki is amazing and the takoyaki rivals anything I've had in or out of Japan. I'm hard pressed to think of better actually, outside of small regional festivals. Try the matcha, it's hand whisked and delicious. They have much more than just those dishes, it's a great stop for lunch while you explore the market.

Fantastic authentic Japanese-run eatery. I had the katsu curry bowl and it was easily the equal of what I've eaten in Tokyo. It only seats a handful of people so be mindful if you have a group, but the staff is both very polite and accommodating. I will absolutely be eating here again.

Naruto ramen was flavourless, not actually a naruto ramen. No tare in ramen and soup no flavour. They are quite slow youngsters, not Japan like service.

This is the best chicken hands down If you want great conversation. A great meal . A genuine place to have a great meal 🥘 It is in the market . Towards the end . Coming from the Van Gogh Museum. Da die Oktopus Bällchen sehr heiß waren, haben wir sie halbiert und leider gesehen, dass in allen Bällchen jeweils nur ein winziges Stück Oktopus war. Der Rest war wohl einfach Kartoffeln? Außerdem kam der typische Gewürz Ketchup oben drauf.. Sorry, aber wir kamen uns etwas verarscht vor.

We found Osakaball coincidentally- and it turned out to be one of the best places to eat! The takoyaki was especially tasty- definitely a must-try :) the Karaage and rice dishes were also good ^^ I recommend :)

Really delicious and authentic japanese food! All staff is japanese and they did not adjust the taste to Europeans. We are the pork ginger curry and the okononiyaki. When I come back to Amsterdam I would definitely visit it again!

Tokayaki was ok, Sushi is average, quality is better then a regular takeaway sushi franchise, Japanese curry rice is nothing special its too salt, the naruto ramen for €10 is very overpriced, just a small cup and almost no any ingredients.

Didn’t clean their tables and stained my clothing. Hygiene 1/5. Staff friendly 4/5. Takoyaki no octopus inside and slightly burned 2/5, earl grey melon pan was quite dry 3.5. Sorry forgot to take pic of takoyaki
