The pizza was great but was a little bit burnt; it was busy too, so I understand that.

What would you charge for 4 slices of toasted bread with two spreads? If it was 9 euros, I recommend you pull up a chair at Luca's! If not, just walk on.

Prompt and friendly service. The food was excellent. We will definitely go back again.

I found the service on the terrace reasonable. However, when we wanted to go inside to have a bite to eat, the boy behind the bar asked if we had made a reservation. When I answered no, I asked if the free tables (about 3 in the back and a few more in the front) were reserved, to which he replied no. When I said that we wanted to reserve a table then, he said that wasn't possible because we were coming from the terrace. A bit of a strange policy, and very unfriendly. So, if I hadn't said anything and had just reserved from the terrace, we would have had a table.

The lasagna bolognese was bland, not very hot, and almost without bolognese sauce. Very disappointing. My dining companion had the cotalatta. That was decent. All in all, it was mediocre.

The first round of drinks was completely thrown over my arm and leg; it was incredibly rude that no apology was offered for this. Afterwards, I asked/said that a drink should be deducted from the bill, since my evening was starting off very cold and smelly. Fortunately, they were okay with that. For the rest of the rounds, there was a huge delay between ordering and serving; the last round was also before midnight, even though it was supposed to close at 1:00 AM… a shame.

Absolutely fantastic. We had a delicious meal. The food was well prepared. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere, like being in a small Italian eatery. What I do appreciate is that they pay attention to the details. The tableware used, the wine glass served with the text on the stem facing you—none of it is a coincidence; someone made these choices. The music was at a nice volume so you could talk to each other. And only decent beers on tap. Good Italian wine selections. Okay, that might be a matter of taste. But for me, it works.

Had some good drinks and snacks, nice and cozy, but watch out for the fatbikes whizzing past.

The outlet was not open. The regular store was, but it was quite exclusive and steeply priced. We will come back when the outlet is open; there is plenty of choice there.

Nothing special, I had the meat of the day with fries. Staff was just average.

We wanted to have a drink tonight during Big Rivers. It took a very long time before someone could take our order. We had to pay immediately, which I understand. When we received the order, a drink was missing, and after fifteen minutes I went inside to get it myself. The waiter was not amused when I mentioned that a drink was missing. The staff is unprofessional in their treatment of customers. There was also too little staff outside (only 2 could take an order and there was no structure to it), and 2 people behind the bar who were working their butts off. I will be skipping this terrace from now on.

Terrible experience, would not recommend eating here. Ordered a bruschetta which came on one single slice of bread on the thinest piece of bread ever. On top of that, we ordered some pizza which took almost an hour to arrive and it wasn't really good either. It's understandable that it was very busy with the music festival this weekend, but still this was not an experience anyone would expect.

The waitress was mad and gave me attitude for no reason, while I was ordering and she stopped me: you don’t have to order dessert now. Like can you wait until I finished talking? Interrupting when someone is talking is not nice at all. Then she brought the plate and slammed the plate on the table, why? Food was ok

Had a good meal. Eaten here for the second time. It is noticeable that the service is very slow and you have to wait a very long time to be served, which is a real shame. Otherwise, the place has a nice atmosphere.

Had lunch this afternoon. My lasagna was quite burnt on one side. Because I was hungry and it had taken a while to eat, I did mention this, but I ate it anyway. No compensation or apology. In any case, it was so black that it really shouldn't have been taken away at all. A shame! The lasagna itself was also a bit dry. A pity for a dish costing 18.50. The rest of the dishes were okay.

I think this is not guanciale-get me wrong. Even if it is- it was burned and had no good taste, only coal. Whole pasta was swimming on the plate because of amount of oil. There is no oil in carbonara!!!! Drinks didn't even stand by drinks that are in the menu. Pornstar martini was pale and tasted like soap. Only service was nice. I wouldn't recommend that restaurant ever because of this food.

We sat on the terrace. The service was quick and the drinks were tasty. The food was really too expensive: €18.50 for a meal salad that had to be returned because a main ingredient was missing. The bruschetta sandwich was also gone in two bites. Drinking was fine. Food was not.

What a bad experience...and terrible service. They made us wait a long time even though we ordered an hour in advance. When we arrived, the order hadn't even been made...the staff lack hospitality and friendliness...we asked to have our order packed, then the employee went to say "yes, that's fine" and she made us wait a long time and went to attend to others....what rotten treatment of customers...she smiled at the faces of other customers but with us she was really dry...NOT RECOMMENDED

As a resident of Dordrecht city center, I am familiar with the hospitality venues in my neighborhood. In the past, I have visited Luca frequently with friends. Unfortunately, after several disappointments—particularly regarding long waiting times for orders and the taste of the products—I decided not to go to Luca anymore. However, yesterday, after a long time, I decided to visit Luca again with friends for food and drinks. But unfortunately, the spareribs were substandard in terms of taste and preparation, the white crust cheese pizza was not entirely warm and unremarkable, and the pasta platter was decent in taste, but for the price, there was very little on the plate. These meals were delivered simultaneously, and unfortunately, the fourth person had to wait a long time for her pizza. We had finished eating by the time she received hers; that pizza was better in taste and warm. We did mention all of this, and as an apology, we were offered two drinks that were not charged. The service was polite, but there was little atmosphere; for a Saturday night, it was very quiet, with few people present. Our final conclusion: unfortunately, no more Luca for our outings in Dordt city center for the time being.

We often travel to Dordrecht, and having tried almost every Italian restaurant in the area, we'd definitely give Trattoria da Luca the win. It's made with quality ingredients, offers authentic Neapolitan pizza, offers friendly and discreet service, is clean, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

The perfect spot for an Italian meal in the beautiful central square! Their food selection and ingredients are Prime quality! The menu is great and the staff is very friendly and fast in the service, i totally recommend even for a quick bite with friends! Keep up with your great work guys!

A cosy Italian restaurant serving excellent traditional dishes and well-prepared pizzas. The staff are very friendly, and dogs are warmly welcomed.

A nice place with a service that tries to make the best of it. But I don't recognize the pizzas we ate from the photos I added earlier. Perhaps someone else was in the kitchen this evening? It's a shame, because I went with the kids, hoping to discover another good pizzeria. I think they have a great oven with nice dough and high sides. But the filling was a real disaster with so much cheese that you couldn't taste anything else, and the crust remained soggy in the middle. Children are usually quickly satisfied with a pizza, but even they didn't enjoy it to their fullest. It's a shame, because the rest was good.

Cozy interior, good and friendly service. The food was truly delicious. Be sure to order the Piatte di Luca as a starter, with a fine selection of fresh cheeses, cured meats, and more.

I went to Luca restaurant on a Thursday for pizza, but the experience was very disappointing. The service was chaotic from the start: I had already placed my order, but when I sat down, they couldn't find it. After much confusion and a long wait, the pizza finally arrived—but unfortunately, it was also terrible. There was almost only toppings in the middle, and the edges were completely bare. On top of that, it took over 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and they didn't arrive until after the food was already on the table. I really expected better service and quality.

Ate here during our midweek break. We made a reservation because they had a 2nd pizza free offer in October. A brick oven in the house means the pizzas have to be good, and they certainly were! We had the pizza piccante and it was really excellent. They serve Neapolitan pizza there and I highly recommend it. We had arancino and fritto misto as appetizers. It was decent, but not great. I think the fritto misto, in particular, was frozen and not fresh. The tiramisu was good and quite good.

Delicious food! The dog was also welcome and immediately got a bowl of water💪🏼. They even turned the music down for the baby. Excellent service, and to top it all off, we had a delicious pizza, and the second one was free🤩! Can't beat it! Thanks for the great service!

If you want to eat authentic Italian food, this is the place for you. Delicious fried food and pasta, even the coffee is Italian. We even met the owner, so we'll definitely be back! PS* The tiramisu is delicious.

Super delicious food. Definitely the best pizza in Dordrecht. A great atmosphere and attentive service are top priorities at Lucca. Highly recommended. Plus, the price is excellent, unlike many other restaurants at the moment.

I also hold a Dordrecht Pass. I got a drink to soak up the atmosphere. The summer offer: one free drink with the Dordrecht Pass. I asked for a Herto Jan Weizener, but no, it had to be a regular pilsner. No explanation as to why... It's not listed on the pass; the Weizener is too expensive for customer loyalty?

A lovely place to have a drink and a bite to eat. You can sit outside on the terrace or inside. The staff was very friendly, and we were served quickly.

Delicious Neapolitan wood-fired pizza with tasty ingredients. Some of the pizza blancos don't have a tomato salsa base. I'm happy about that; I don't do well with tomato salsa. Good Italian meats on the pizza, such as mortadella, crudo, and ndjua, Sicilian sausage.

Had drinks and Panini. Went for their Pizzas but thats available after 5 PM (That's fine, we didn't know that 😉) Food arrived on time and the taste was good. But extremely unwelcoming waitress is there, the vibe felt kind of strange.

Delicious pizzas and very extensive anti-pasti starters. The children's pizza was certainly appreciated by our youngest. The cocktails and wine were of good quality. The service this evening was very knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. We had a nice evening with our family.

This is by far the best place to eat Italian in Dordrecht. Tasty pizzas from a wood-fired oven with a menu that is regularly updated by people with a clear understanding of good food. I have never eaten Neapolitan pizzas better anywhere in the Netherlands. Things sometimes go wrong in the operation - and in the winter it was sometimes cold inside - but the owner / manager is always in a good mood and willing to offer a solution. Keep it up, Luca!

Although it is a nicely located restaurant, the service remains terrible. I don't know why I keep coming back, maybe hoping for improvement. Long wait for drinks and no one outside on the terrace. Ordering always takes a very long time. Shame.

The menu and appearance of the website gave the impression of an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was unpleasant, the tables cramped together, the waitress unfriendly and the pizza not as special as expected. Quite a disappointment, while the restaurant does have potential to present something beautiful. PS: In the response, the owner asked for feedback by email (so I sent an email the next day with an explanation), then received no further response. Of course that's not so good either.

Had a pizza here after the cinema. I asked if we could sit upstairs, but unfortunately that was not possible because it would soon be full. I said that we would just come over for a quick pizza and be on our way again. But unfortunately, it wasn't possible. We left after an hour and no one had gone up yet. The crusts of the pizzas were largely burnt. My husband didn't think it was necessary to say anything about it, because it could cause inconvenience, but I did say something at checkout when she asked if everything was okay. The waitress said it was true that she had seen more burnt pizzas. The pizzas simply should not have been served. Too bad. I read in another review that the owner wrote that they strive for good quality, but this was really not the case. Next time I'll eat pizza elsewhere.

Mooie zaak, wij zaten boven daar staat ook de pizzaoven. Pizza was goed en ook de desserts waren lekker, leuke bediening. Als dessert is de chocolade salami echt een aanrader!

We were assigned a very unpleasant place, near the door that is always opened by people who collect it, and therefore very cold. Especially not possible with small children. And under the stairs where the dirt from the shoes fell on the table and on our necks. Service very unfriendly. Don't do this restaurant.

Voorgerechten inclusief plankje voor twee personen besteld en we hadden niet eens alles op of het hoofdgerecht was er al. Slechte amateuristische bediening wat geen communicatie had net de amateurs in de keuken. Gerechten waren zeer ondermaats en de kinderen in de bediening brachten een fles wijn welke wij zelf in mochten schenken.

Where it was really good before, the last visits were really bad. Mold on the meat on the drinks board, no excuses, bad cocktails that we had to wait a very long time for (and it was anything but busy). Don't do anything with feedback, staff also enjoys having a snack at a distance of 2 meters. Pornstar martini was really fun. Shame! As if the love that was once there is now gone.

Neapolitan style pizza was delicious. Only the waiters weren’t really coming to us to take an order etc. We had to call them each time. This could be improved.

It took a long time before the otherwise friendly service noticed us. The lemonade was good, but the expensive lunch dishes were mediocre to poor: the vegetarian sandwich ('panini') was passable, the calamari was extremely mediocre and the spaghetti pomodoro was inedible: the pasta had been cooked too long and the sauce was watery and tasteless. I didn't eat that spaghetti, even though I am adamantly against food waste, and I went to get some pita cheese at the Egyptian falafel shop on the same square.

Been here for dinner. We sat outside in the square in front of the restaurant; a cozy table under the parasols. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were nice and attentive. The food looked good and was tasty too.

Booked a reservation for 9pm and got a confirmation email only to find out when we got to the restaurant that the kitchen was already closed and we weren't able to eat dinner anymore.. Yet our reservation went through with no explanation that we wouldn't be able to eat. After the fact, I got an email with an apology about not being able to be seated outside while we specifically asked for a inside table. So that made no sense. I can't speak on the food or drinks but the management regarding reservations needs to seriously be fixed.

Ik zou het niet adviseren. Plankje voor 2(verplicht) kost 20 euro en krijg je, let op, 3 stuks salami en 3 stuks kaas, absoluut belachelijk en om te huilen. Je wordt hier gewoon genaaid!!

Had a drink and hoped to have a bite to eat here for lunch, the home-made calamaris seemed tasty to us. Management just didn't feel like it, it seemed. Only came to the table for a drink and then not anymore.. Paid without having lunch around 2:00 PM after 30 minutes of waiting. Shame.

During the Big Rivers festival I had dinner with three people on Luca's terrace. Dinner was a bit disappointing: The pizzas were partly burnt and not very large. The portions of lasagna and pasta carbonara were also not extensive, but very pricey. Service was very friendly, but they were very busy, so they forgot to transfer the main course to the kitchen and they were also not very approachable.

Dit heeft niets met een Osteria, Napolitaans of zelfs maar met Italiaans te maken zoals ze claimen. Het is al te zien aan de inrichting: hip maar draagt geen Italiaanse sfeer. Drankjes duren vreselijk lang en kwamen in vieze glazen. Ook kregen we niet de goede bestelling. De pizza’s: smakeloze slappe bende!! We hebben er wat van gezegd en de bediening gaf aan dat de eigenaar niets met klachten doet. Overigens deed de bediening hun best en waren ze vriendelijk. Wil je lekker italiaans of überhaupt lekker eten: hier moet je NIET zijn!

Wilde gezellig nog even hapje eten , maar wij zaten boven naast een druk groot gezelschap jongeren , wij konden elkaar amper verstaan. De pizza vonden wij matig , maar misschien zijn wij verwend met de echte Italiaanse pizza ☺️ de bediening was aardig en deed haar best. Met in de naam Osteria verwacht je toch zeker beter. Helaas.

Ate here yesterday with a group and the food was poorly prepared. We had 3 choices, meat, fish or vegetarian. The fish option did not contain any fish. When we reported this to the staff, the response was laconic and nothing was done to resolve the issue. The meat option was a very small portion and had little flavor. The veggie was the best. The pity was that the plates were served one after the other. So when the first ones had already finished their plates, the last dish was only served. Unfortunately, also poorly organised. We won't eat here again!

Went for dinner for the 2nd time this year. Map is not very large, but what is on the map is great.

For 6 people, a cheese board of €7.50 per person and you literally get a few slices of cheese. Too sad for words. Nice staff and good choice of beer.

There is expensive and there is expensive. Roasted vegetables are put on a white plate and the portions are so small that you can't call it lunch. Not value for money. Sit with the neighbors or walk down the street

Sublime pizza, I often don't like green with any dish, but I enjoyed the arugula with the pizza with ham. The atmosphere in the restaurant was peaceful and cozy. Nice decor and nice service. The only point for improvement is the cutlery, which is not always sharp. I thought it was a fun workshop to cut my own pizza and divide it into segments and then eat a whole chunk of pizza with just the 4 skewers of a fork.

Wonderful evening. We just got married, and I had let you know. Without a doubt. When we arrived the table was full of rose petals, roses, and a bottle of prosecco was offered to us! What a service! A great evening, fun, delicious, highly recommended! We will definitely come back! Steven & Sofie.
