I've eaten here several times. Delicious pizzas, friendly and fast service. A real Italian atmosphere, highly recommended!

We just had a fabulous meal in this beautiful restaurant. What an amazing dining experience. We were lucky to have a table upstairs with a view straight down over the open kitchen. The staff were so nice and friendly, all of them working very hard. We hope to be able to come back again sometime. The lady serving us even gave my wife a large pink rose as we were leaving. Exceptional.

This was the best seafood pizza I've ever had. If I ever pass by again, I'll definitely go back and try it. If you want to eat a really good pizza, I highly recommend this place and this particular pizza.

I had a lovely dinner with my mother at this little restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and we were served quickly. We were assisted by very friendly and kind Italians. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed a pleasant evening! At the end, my mother was surprised by the waitress with a beautiful rose as a gift. We really enjoyed it immensely!

You can tell from everything that the work here is done with love and pride. The service is attentive, friendly, and ensures that you feel welcome immediately. The Italian chefs also know their craft perfectly; here, cooking is still done the way it should be. The lasagna we ate was truly exquisite: rich in flavor, perfectly structured, and clearly freshly prepared. Combined with a delicious rosé, this was a meal to savor. Every dish that came by looked prepared with care. And to finish, the tiramisu… that was truly divine! Creamy, airy, perfectly balanced, and without a doubt one of the tastiest tiramisus we have ever eaten. We would come back for that alone. What makes Piccola Italia extra special is the genuine hospitality. Not a massive chain or rushed service, but a restaurant where hardworking people with a huge passion for their craft do their best every day to give guests a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the younger waitstaff were very friendly. We praised the food and were really satisfied. But the owner didn't seem to like our faces, which I unfortunately only noticed after we'd tipped and paid. Or maybe he just doesn't like tourists… It's a shame, the initially very good impression is gone.

Has been around for almost 50 years. Small, kitchen a bit messy, I like to call it Italian. Beautiful atmosphere and top-notch service. Here you can still find real Italian pizzas and dishes.

The pasta was great however the margherita pizza was mediocre ( not bad ). The pesto bruschetta was ok overall - pesto sauce / topping was great but the bread it let down ( too doughy , maybe a little more toasting before adding toppings may have helped) The pizza crust was great but the sauce was flat tasting and too watery. The mozzarella was good and melty but there was too much of it. Overall, a decent place with the potential to be great if they work on it.

It's absolutely delicious, the flavor is truly authentic Italian. I live just around the corner and I love coming here often.

I am giving a really bad rating here for several reasons. We ordered wine, listed on the menu for 5 euros per glass, but at checkout it was 8 euros per glass. The owner's justification was that it was a robust wine... sure. There were a number of other peculiarities at checkout; when placing a glass down, the base broke... 3 euros on the bill. Suddenly, there was a bottle of wine on the bill... after a lengthy (AND UNNAMED) discussion with the owner, he admitted that this was a mistake. It also turned out that 6 euros had been added as an extra to a pizza; that really made no sense. So if you are going to eat here... pay close attention to the bill... you will get ripped off... after years of being customers, we will never return here.

We found this place last minute but it’s the best pizza we had in a while. Highly recommend!

Waited a very long time for the carpaccio. It was frozen solid in the middle, so we sent it back. We indicated that after waiting for an hour, we wanted the main course immediately. The drinks didn't arrive either. After another 20 minutes, the carpaccios we had cancelled finally arrived. We were sent away. In the meantime, my husband went to ask the chef if it was still going to happen, since we had already been inside for 1.5 hours, had had one drink, and no food. Eventually, the food arrived. Pizza and pasta pesto. The pasta pesto was fresh but quite bland in taste, though with pepper and plenty of salt it was tasty, though it was swimming in a layer of oil. We have also been somewhat spoiled this summer by the pasta pesto from Genoa. The pizza was just good. Crispy crust. All in all, a somewhat disappointing experience. We got one free drink, which was nice. Unfortunately, we won't be going back here anytime soon.

This was truly the very last time here. We waited an hour and a half and eventually left without having eaten. This happened while the people around us, who arrived later, had long since finished eating. Far too little staff for the number of guests.

We've been coming here regularly and enjoy it, but unfortunately, Valentine's Day was a complete disaster. I'd made a reservation downstairs in advance for 4 people. No confirmation, so I called to be sure. It was noted, but they said it was just a menu, not a menu. Okay, we'll let ourselves be surprised, but 1 person is vegetarian. No problem, sir. However, upon arrival, we were told we could only choose between meat or fish. No discussion possible! How hard can it be to make pasta or pizza without meat or fish? Four people went home disappointed, and they left a considerable amount untouched. What a shame!

A lovely historic building with an authentic Italian atmosphere. The rest was less so. After waiting 50 minutes, we asked where the appetizers were. "Oh yeah, the vitella tonato is sold out." Okay. No apologies, no compensation on the house, strange. The main courses followed very quickly, but they had already been languishing under a warming lamp for a while. The pasta carbonara was so salty it had to be returned to the kitchen. A nice place with potential if they could get their organization right. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for us.

We had a delicious meal! We had a nice spot upstairs. We could watch the kitchen a bit from up there. Everyone was super friendly. It was also nice to have a chat with the owner. We got this tip from a friend. Eating here is definitely highly recommended.

The service was excellent. The top floor was empty except for us, and the decor seemed to have stood still since 1950. The first floor was full, but pleasantly filled with other guests, with mood lighting and music. They had us wait a bit for a spot on the mezzanine. The pizzas arrived fairly quickly, but the grated supermarket cheese (in Dutch) was unappetizing and certainly not Italian-style. I don't think it's worthy of a Dordrecht top 10 list, but who am I with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry? Guido

In a fantastically atmospheric building dating back to 1618, you'll feel like you're in Italy. Incredibly kind people, hospitable, and nothing is too much trouble. And we've never eaten better. Even though it's an hour from where we live, we'll definitely eat there again.

The beer with the pizza was a perfect match. The flavors complemented each other perfectly, light and refreshing next to the warm, hearty pizza. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and classic Italian. It felt like a little vacation in the middle of the city.

The pizzas are always delicious and freshly made in front of you (and you can even see it being made). It can get busy sometimes, so reservations are recommended. Literally the best lasagne I have ever had! And I try lasagne everywhere. HOLY MOLY, this was good!! The hubs had the Spaghetti Bolognese and he said it was very good!! Now I have another reason to come back to Dordrecht!!

At the end of the main street in Dordrecht's city center (as they say themselves 😉), near the Wijnbrug (vineyard bridge), lies this charming little pizzeria. The owner is a true Italian (we thought), and the service is super friendly. They have a variety of pizza options (including ones with carpaccio or za), as well as delicious pastas (I had the authentic Bolognese). The prices are also very reasonable! Highly recommended!

After waiting for fifteen minutes, we were told the chef would be here in half an hour. So...

The main course was okay. Carbonara was nothing special. Service is incredibly rude and excruciatingly slow. And don't you dare ask for coffee after dinner because "that's not how we do it in Italy". Ragazzo, you're not in Italy but in Dordrecht. Remained polite because the man looks almost 100 years old, but what a nasty guy. Incidentally, that was right after he didn't want to give us the Tiramisu because they "only had 4 left". I don't plan on eating 4, do I? And then the gentleman himself is scooping tiramisu out of the container with his bare hands. The dessert that he did bring was first warming up inside for 20 minutes. It should have been ice cream. Really very mediocre.

Had dinner with friends last night. Was very pleasant. First of all, the delicious smells of the food hit you in the street. The restaurant is small and very cozy and cozy. We were on the first floor and could look into the kitchen and see the preparation. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The owner came to our table several times to make suggestions of what he had prepared himself, which was very nice. You noticed that there was a lot of passion for his restaurant and authenticity. The food was delicious and definitely recommended. We will definitely come and eat again Afterwards we women both received a rose, which I thought was so sweet.

Last night, February 14, we had a very nice evening in this small, cozy restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, small but nice. We were given an explanation about red wine and were allowed to taste different types, very nice. The food was delicious, starter bruscetta and vitello tonato, then pizza and ravioli. Dessert was Affogato...delicious vanilla ice cream in espresso. Top... All in all worth repeating. There is an authentic Italian atmosphere. When I left I was given a beautiful red rose....for Valentine's Day ❤

Only very little point is that its not fully availeble for wheelchairs but its in the centrum of Dordrecht so thats logical 1 thing a little music like Italian music would better the vibe a lot

Really Italian, but delicious pizzas!!!

I don't know where to start, the spaghetti whas overcooked, and tasteless, for appetizer one tomato and a piece of mozzarella 11.5 euro :D, they served appetizers and salad without glasses and cutlery, the owner whas very annoying, the only positive thing is the pizza it was good but i was also very hungry. And the environment whas very noisy from the kitchen, they were shouting a lot!!! Complete disappointment I would never go to this restaurant again!!

Very authentic, nice atmosphere, in terms of food we had a bit of an argument with the bases of the pizza, which were very hard. That was a bit disappointing to me. Ingredients delicious and fresh. For me, the starter was not quality in relation to price, 6 shrimps in oil, you can't ask almost 15 euros for that. Atmosphere good, cozy, temperature above, very high.

Nice and calm vibe with friendly staff! He gave us roses at the end and it was really good feeling and he made our evening. The food was good, but it can be better. I had porcini en parmigiana pasta and tagliatelle was crushed and porcini mushroom was in big chunks. The taste was goed. The most important part was their staff’s behavior. They are kind and caring about customers.

Best Italian in all of Dordrecht. A real traditional Italian where you get the feeling that you are part of the family. The service is top notch and you are well served. It's small, but nice. You can enjoy traditional Italian dishes here! Definitely recommended if you want to eat here! Don't forget to make a reservation, as it can fill up quickly.

We went there for dinner with a group of 38 people. Of course, an agreement was made in advance as to which pizzas would be served. Top organised. Sat upstairs in a room especially for larger groups. Again, excellent.

Le restaurant est assez petit à l'intérieur et avec plus de 20 degrés dehors, il y fait très chaud. Tous les clients ont mangé comme nous sur la terrasse équipée d'une dizaine de tables. Prix très démocratiques par rapport aux autres pizzerias et restons du coin. En contrepartie un confort basique mais de bonnes pizzas avec la possibilité d'en avoir sans gluten et sans prévenir. Les pizzas classiquene sont pas des roues de charrettes mais ont une taille suffisante. Celles sans gluten sont un peu plus petites. Pas de supplément demandé. Les deux types de pizzas étaient bien garnies et croustillantes. Service assuré par de très jeunes serveuses sympathiques. Seul bémol : notre réservation en ligne n'a pas été prise en compte ( mais il n'y avait pas la grande foule donc pas de souci) et la conversation téléphonique n'est pas facile (même en néerlandais).
