4.95 euros for a cappuccino. !! There was no price list, so you ordered and then paid. 9.90 euros. I really thought "a mistake". Seriously, what a ridiculous price. And a weak cup of coffee too.

It is a tradition for us to stop by De Rode Kater for a bite to eat after the parade, and this time it was incredibly delicious! The food was on the table within ten minutes. The staff were also super spontaneous; every now and then they would come over to the table to ask if everything was to our liking. Everything was very well organized there! We enjoyed ourselves! Nice atmosphere too, just a tiny bit cramped inside if you want to slide your chair back to stand up; you end up bumping right into the person sitting behind you. 😅 We will definitely be back!

The welcome was friendly, and we were given a menu, which was also written in German. We chose this restaurant because it offered a mussel pot. For my wife, that settled it. And it turned out to be a good choice. For me, it was a bit more complicated. According to the menu, I could order a schnitzel, which, according to the description, would be served with a sauce, a potato dish, a vegetable dish, and a cold side dish. The waiter only wanted us to decide between a small and a large schnitzel. As he was about to leave, I tried to ask if I could have fries. I'm not sure if he understood me. The food arrived. A wonderful mussel pot, as ordered, with bread, plus a small selection of sauces. I was served a large schnitzel, a small bowl of carrots, and a mixed salad. Whether this, as stated on the menu, was part of the mussels or my cold side dish, I have no idea. There was also a small bowl of potatoes. Not fries, not fried potatoes, not boiled potatoes. Somewhere in between. I complained about this and then received fries. My conclusion: The mussels were perfect. My meal could have been better. They should specify the side dishes and ask if the guest wants them. Otherwise, the schnitzel was okay, nothing special, but alright. The carrots were a bit too hard for my taste, but still acceptable. The replacement fries were good. Furthermore, I expect a waiter to check on me during the meal if everything is alright. The price/performance ratio is okay, but the service could be improved.

Zagen wat slechtere ervaringen, maar man , wat hebben wij hier lekker gegeten. Verse champignonsoep, een heerlijke schnitzel Saté en een wrap, wij zijn echt ZEER tevreden en komen beslist nog een keer terug Leuk personeel, de honden mochten mee, en betaalbare prijzen

Unfortunately, the food was an hour late. But anyway, it was busy.. We were also missing one garlic sauce. However.. I had the sweet spareribs and I have to say they made up for everything! They are incredibly tasty!! This is definitely worth repeating. My husband had the gyros, which he thought was very good. I would like to offer a tip: keep the websites up to date and adjust the delivery times. That way, no misunderstandings will arise.
