What a fantastic place. Just like you're really in Italy. Delicious food, home made. The cake, the sandwiches and the focaccia are very tasty. Fun with children! Coffee is perfect. A real asset to the neighborhood.

The pasta carbonara and the gnocchi were great, truly authentic Italian!

Delicious authentic local foods in a friendly and cozy atmosphere. We were received with warm and exciting explanations of the available foods and drinks. It made it hard to decide, but you cannot choose wrong. It was all very tasty!

My daughter and I tried this place out of curiosity. When we entered we got immediately captured by the welcoming atmosphere. The very gentle owner Andrea immediately smiled at us and helped us choosing a dish for lunch. Lo sfizio offers real Italian food at a very honest price. The ingredients are authentic , the cooking style is divine and the kindness of Andrea and Adela is priceless. Lo sfizio has become our Saturday lunch place. We love the focaccia, the pasta, and Soraya loves the special croissant with pistacchio made on the spot for her by Andrea. We could not recommend it enough!

I had breakfast here several times and also ordered food for drinks. If you want to eat something typical Italian, this is the place to be!!!

Lo Sfizio is one of my favorite places to meet a friend, work or hold an intimate event. The coffee is truly exceptional and the lunch and pastries - including Genova-style focaccia - are delicious. I can meet my Italian friends there and give them a true taste of home.

While spending a few days in The Hague, I discovered this Italian restaurant where we returned twice in 4 days. Andrea and Adela are absolutely adorable. The Bolognese pasta is delicious, the granola bowl too (and well served), the mixed salad is also very good. The prices are very affordable. And the little chocolate that is offered with the coffee is so good! In short, a simple and authentic place! I recommend 100%!

I've passed by several times and was curious to discover the mouth-watering menu. I stopped in and took advantage of the outdoor terrace to have a coffee and some snacks. Since then, I've been dying to go back for lunch. I've just done so. For a few minutes or an hour, savoury or sweet, this new kitchen is an unsuspected gem in this part of The Hague.

I had a very nice experience at Lo Sfizio! I was at a painting vernisaj and the people was very nice , the food was delicios, the place very friendly, the service very good, really authentic italian style and for sure I will go back.

We ordered cakes and small, sweet snacks for a party. It was freshly made and delicious.

We celebrated my husband's birthday in this place, together with a group of 8 of our friends. The owners reserved the place for us and organized everything meticulously for us, the Italian menu was very tasty, starting with the very rich appetizer, pasta with two different sauces because two of our friends are vegetarians and one is pregnant, two types of second course, both very, very tasty, and finally the dessert, full of cakes of all kinds. Everything was prepared local, by the owners, everything looks gorgeous and very, very tasty. The service was extremely attentive, nothing was ever missing from the table and everything arrived on time. Even the music was superbly chosen! Our friends were very happy, we were very happy because of how the evening was organized. The owners Adela and Andrea are very friendly and respectful, we really recommend this restaurant to spend beautiful moments with dear friends!

Do not go to this place. I ordered focaccia they promised to have one ready on the day and they gave me old focaccia which was dry and horrible. Even they charged me 25 euros which is ridiculous price. I bought it because I had no other option and have a lunch the same day. Very bad food service and lack of honesty

Great Coffee , Cozy Atmosphere!!! We had a really great time at “Lo Sfizio”; the food is really Fresh and Delicious; I particularly appreciate the Focaccia with Mortadella and Burrata (a dive into memories 🤤) and Service is warm and genuine; they also sell a little variety of Italian products 🤩 We will definitely come back👍

A wonderful cozy place with authentic Italian service and food. It has fresh crispy croissants - cornetti - small and large, sweet and savoury filled with prochutto, mortadella, parma mozzarella or buratta and Italian roasted coffee to every taste. Their homemade focaccia with high quality olive oil is to die for!!! For yogurt and low-calorie lovers - homemade granola is your answer. One cannot have enough of Italian food!!! 😋

This cozy Italian cafe have quickly become my favorite spot in town…. Andreas and Adela, the delightful owners, make you feel at home with their warm hospitality... The relaxed atmosphere, paired with soothing Italian music, creates the perfect setting. Oh, and the Italian delicacies are a delightful bonus. A true gem and best flat white in town.

Hello, hello Today, we had an incredible experience that I want to share with you. At the new Italian bar opened by Adela and her husband, we had a wonderful time! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, especially the tiramisu and lasagna. The cappuccino and special coffee were also extremely good. And the lemonade... wow, wow!!!! 😍😍😍😍 I encourage you to stop by if you want to enjoy an authentic Italian snack and delicious coffee in a friendly atmosphere! 🍰☕️

Tasty food homemade prepared! Zucchini alla scapece, parmigiana with aubergines are awesome. The food is prepare with high quality ingredients . You can buy several original Italian products and unique desserts!

Really authentic deliscious Italian food, and very nice service.

Delicious Italian in a quaint setting. We had the steak, the tortelloni, and the lasagna, and they were all well-prepared with good flavor. For entree, we had classic bruschetta and a complimentary break basket with a rich olive oil. The service was also quite pleasant, and the house red very good and reasonably priced. We will return.

Great food, we had the Vegetarian Bruschetta, Gnocchi, Rigatoni alla Carbonara and the Tiramisu and everything tasted homemade, super fresh and traditionally Italian! Also the red house wine was good! Would definitely recommend and I will come back the next time I visit Den Haag.

We had genuinely an amazing experience at this restaurant! The owners are just marvellous are made us feel as though we were dining in their home! The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was so cozy and relaxed. Of course, the food was AMAZING!!!! And when we left, they were SO kind to give our two girls each a bag of easter chocolate eggs! Even though we arrived late, we didn't feel rushed in the slightest, and over 10 days dining through The Netherlands and Germany, this was by far our best and most memorable experience. Thank you so much Andrea and Adela!! We hope to come back one day!!!

I think this is the best Italian restaurant in The Hague. Best thing..... they know Gluten Free. Their GF foccacia with self imported olive oil is to die for. The owners are super friendly. A true hidden gem. Going again soon. Or get take out from them.

Gezellig klein restaurant met Italiaanse klassiekers: we aten bijvoorbeeld pasta met truffel en amatriciana saus, gegrilde tonijn en tiramisu. Allemaal even lekker en goed bereid. Wijn is van zijn neef uit de Abbruzzen en wij vonden de Pecorino (wit, stevig) echt heerlijk.

Via TripAdvisor een Italiaans restaurant uitgekozen en gereserveerd. Personeel was Italiaans en een beperkte kaart waaruit patchtiger gerechten gekomen kon worden. Maaltijden waren prachtig opgemaakt en heerlijk. De geschonken dranken waren ook Italiaans. Kortom fantastisch!

This is a gem in The Hague. The owners put careful thought into paring ingredients and they have a changing seasonal menu! The dishes are superb - They use high quality ingredients and make everything with really fresh and with a lot of care! It's so delicious, you will leave wanting more! Honestly my favorite restaurant in The Hague. (I can also highly recommend their starters!!!!)

Even during lockdown, with limited contact you can feel the special atmosphere .... Food is amazing, wine is amazing. We ate on a bench, but did not wash away a great experience.

This is a review for a delivery during the COVID lockdown. The food was mediocre at best. We had the burrata and cod as starters, the tuna tataki burger, and two desserts. The burrata was okayish, however, the cod was abysmal, lacking salt (and flavour). The burger was okayish - the tataki was done well, fried onions lovely, but the balance was off - the dish was far too bready. The side of potatoes were oily, and over salted (almost compensating for the lack of salt in the other dish). Finally, we ordered a mouse and a tiramisu. The mousse was acceptable. The tiramisu, on the other hand, was not strictly a tiramisu but more of a pannacotta type dessert. On the whole, this was a mediocre order. Perhaps this is a place that one should dine at, rather than order from.

Geweldig goed restaurant! Italiaans is vaak lekker maar een echt goed restaurant vinden is soms lastig.Ze maken hun pasta en brood zelf en die smaakt dan ook heerlijk! Aanrader ;)

If you are looking for the real Italian food and products there is only one place to go to Palato in Den Haag. Excellent food, wine advice, as well as the selection of great gifts such as olive oil and wines. Highly recommended.

I ve been few times to this place, always excellent , everything is home made, not the classic and boring italian restaurant but creative and tasty dishes and as a Italian i like to fell home when i go eat to some restaurant. Atmosfere very nice, Andrea and Adela are really friendly and kind. Even now in Corona time, i ordered from them and the food was perfect. I hope it can open soon!!

Sometimes an Italian restaurant can make you feel like you visit the house of a dear friend, where his mother has been cooking all day to serve you the best of what the Italian kitchen has to offer. That is how PALATO makes me feel. The food is marvellous and the owner gives me the feeling I have known him for years.

Very cosy, warm atmosphere with personal service by the owners. Freshly baked bread and pasta, beautiful presentation. Olive oil so tasty I could drink it. All the dishes were adjusted to my restricted diet with no milk products and no nuts. Gluten free also possible. Great dinner and wonderful evening.
