Vanavond bij Paloma Blanco gegeten en wat een beleving! De tajine en couscous waren heerlijk en perfect bereid. De sfeer is warm en authentiek, met Marokkaanse muziek waardoor je echt het gevoel krijgt in Marokko te dineren in plaats van in Amsterdam. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij voelde ons echt welkom. Bedankt!

Paloma Blanca Amsterdam Slechtste ervaring ooit, geen begrip geld kwijt en niks gegeten Voelde ons erg onwelkom 2 pogingen gedaan eerste keer, in de datum vergist gebeld of we toch nog mochten komen want we kwamen van ver reizen en waren al in Amsterdam en er was nog plek online, maar we mochten niet komen we kregen wel geld terug van paloma blanca voor de eerste keer De 2de keer waren we ons geld kwijt omdat het voor de week erna was, dus wij een nieuwe reservering maken en de oude anuleren want we zouden met zijn 3 gaan en 1 kon niet mee, kreeg de eerste keer gelijk bevestiging erna pas 3 dagen later, dacht oke komt ivm de 2de reservering en omdat er miscommunicatie was over geld terug van de het eten, dus was wat irritatie dus dacht begrijp het wel, bevestiging later kwam, eerste keer ook administratie kosten netjes betaald omdat het mijn fout was dus opnieuw gereserveerd kom we enthousiast aan zegt tie dat de reservering vorige week was, ik weet niet of het aan zijn systeem lag of mijn telefoon want die heeft ook wel is kuren, maar er was online gewoon nog plek en het restaurant was leeg, maar we moesten helaas het restaurant verlaten mochten er niet meer eten en waren ons geld kwijt, dus ga hier niet naar toe, geen tegemoetkoming voor het verre reizen na 2 pogingen hebben we alleen de binnenkant gezien, niet gegeten, niet eens op de bank kunnen zitten en geen begrip, voor de situatie Maar paloma blanca is geen aanrader van marokaanse restaurants Kortom hele slechte ervaring

Little cozy gem, a few stops on the light rail from the center of Amsterdam. Top delicious food and appetizers. Delicious mint tea. They are my second time eating there, on my vacation to Amsterdam. The food is super tasty.

Sempre più ristoranti ti fanno pagare un deposito al momento della prenotazione, ma normalmente lo fanno quando hanno tantissimi clienti che fanno la fila per mangiare in quel ristorante. In questo caso ti fanno pagare un deposito di ben 100 euro, ed un sabato sera all’ora di cena il nostro è l’unico tavolo occupato, per il resto la desolazione! Servizio non molto caloroso e cibo non memorabile. Una delusione. Non lo consiglio e non ci tornerei.

I ate here with friends a few days ago, and what a fantastic experience! I'm not normally a fan of couscous, but this was truly amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the meatballs were also excellent. Definitely recommended! 👌🍽️

Very rude owner. He screamed after me and my dog because my dog peed on the street (not on his restaurant). He definitely has some anger issues.

This was something different! I went out for dinner sporadically with a friend of mine and then walked past Paloma Blanca. It looked cozy and there were quite a few people there for a weekday evening so we went to have a look and were pleasantly surprised! I was not yet familiar with Moroccan cuisine so it took some getting used to having to eat from our plate with our hands, but it was fun! Nice staff who could recommend what we would like (I am a wimp when it comes to spicy food) so that was certainly appreciated. Overall a nice opportunity if you want to try something new!

Very tasty soup, pastilla and shrimp in oil. I didn't like the couscous, it was a bit dry unfortunately. The ragine wasn't bad. Owner was also friendly

Excellent, well-mastered cuisine at the height of Moroccan cuisine. We eat there in a quiet atmosphere.

Morocco at its best, but just a little better It's almost unbelievable how a restaurant can feel like coming home to a place you've never been before. Paloma Blanca does that. The white dove, symbol of Tetouan, gently whispers to you that you will find more than a meal here. This is Morocco, but transformed by an invisible hand that makes everything just that little bit better. The dishes are always fresh, always an invitation for more. As if the kitchen tries, again and again, to convince you that there really is no better restaurant in the Netherlands when it comes to Moroccan cuisine. And they succeed, every time. Whether you go for the grilled lamb dish or the spicy tagine, it feels like you are tasting a piece of heaven. And then there is Mohamed. A man you cannot describe without falling into clichés, and yet none of them fit the bill. He is the ministry, yes, but more than that. He is a performance, a choreography of hospitality and humor, always with the right recommendation at the perfect time. He knows something about everything, not too much about anything, and everything about food. Paloma Blanca is love, in all its forms. It is the smell of spices that takes you to markets far away, the smile of Mohamed that brings you back here. It's Tetouan, but without the chaos, with an ambiance that makes you wish you never have to leave.

Geweldige restaurant! Het eten was er heerlijk, echt Marokkaans eten. En de sfeer van het restaurant is heel cultureel. Het eten werd snel geserveerd ookal was het druk. Al met al zeker een aanrader!

verzorgde plek, brengt cultuur omhoog en is mogelijkheid om een keer van een ander cultuur wat te proberen of dan juist je eigen cultuur in een ander land te beleven. De mensen die er werken zijn erg lief en geduldig. het duurt niet lang voor je het eten krijgt en het eten zelf is super lekker. Al met al is het een top restaurant!!

Restaurant Paloma blanca is een fantastische plek om te genieten van heerlijk Marokkaans eten. De sfeer is gezellig en de gerechten zijn verrukkelijk. Een absolute aanrader voor liefhebbers van de Marokkaanse keuken! Het eten is vers en zeker een aanrader.

Highly recommended for those who like or want to try traditional Moroccan food. Ate with friends, the starter was supper and we ordered several main courses, the couscous and tagins were delicious. We will definitely go again.

Delicious traditional Moroccan food, had dinner with colleagues. Everyone was impressed. We enjoyed the delicious starters Bastilla, harira soup, and I personally think the salad with shrimps was great. Main course couscous or Tagines traditional and delicious. Thank you very much.

Booked the iftar menu with two friends on April 6. The food tasted very good, and everything was very fresh. I found the owner's service very nice and friendly. He is very approachable and we had a nice conversation where he expressed his passion for Moroccan cuisine. He also has a great sense of humor. The decor is nice and appropriate. The tea at the end was very tasty. All in all, I was positively surprised by the taste of the food, very nice and with depth.

!!!To my horror, after posting the review below, I received a call from the owner asking if I was happy with my review and that that is why he hates Moroccans and only wants to do business with Dutch people. I have truly never experienced this with a restaurant owner. If someone is dissatisfied then they should also be able to post a review about that, or am I crazy!!!! We had to pay 38 euros per person for the iftaar menu. We got hrira, chebakia, dates and a small tuna patty as a starter and as a main course a small tagine with a choice of chicken or lamb. When the gentleman came to take drinks, I asked if the menu did not include drinks, to which he responded very unfriendlyly by saying that if I had read the website carefully, I would know that there would be no drinks included. If I hadn't paid in advance I would have packed my things and left without eating after this reaction. Think you can at least serve some water or a shake so people can break their fast and you shouldn't be talking to your customers this way. It wasn't worth the money. I'll never come here again.

The owner appreciates precision and clarity and is very fond of his reservation system. As a result, he can sometimes seem a bit unfriendly if people do not use the same accuracy. Despite this, the food is delicious and of excellent quality. It is clear that the owner realizes that the exceptional taste of the food completely forgets any objections to his attitude 😉. In short, make sure you are on time for your reservation and take the owner's somewhat 'strict' attitude with a grain of salt, in exchange for a heavenly dinner. The Chicken Bastilla is highly recommended, and don't forget to enjoy a delicious cup of tea after dinner!

I came here with my family and we had such an amazing experience. The people were very gentle and the food tasted good. I had the couscous with fish and vegetables. The vegetables were very nice and the fish was melting on my tongue; delicious. I would absolutely recommend people to eat here!

Had dinner here with colleagues just before Christmas. Delicious food! Everyone thought it was a good choice and therefore worth repeating. Tasty chicken and fish tagine and the couscous was also tasty. Thanks for the good service too.

In a word ; WOW. We picked up food here and it was delicious. We opted for the lamb tagine and the lamb couscous and chicken tagine. Everything was very freshly prepared and made with love. We enjoyed. We will come back here as soon as possible.

Traditional and delicious food! Everything we ordered; harira soup, chicken bastilla, couscous royal and lamb tagine were excellent! The menu choice is not very extensive and they do not have desserts. The restaurant is not very large, so book in advance.

Echt een aanrader! Wij zijn komen eten met een grote groep. De eigenaar was zeer duidelijk in de mailwisseling vooraf. Het eten was erg lekker, service was goed en het pand is prachtig en authentiek ingericht!

Sfeervol klein restaurant met authentieke marokkaanse keuken(zelfs het toilet is mooi marokkaans versierd) maar wel prijzig.

We had a lovely experience today and would totally recommend if you'd like to try something new! The food was really tasty and the people extremely welcoming!

We ordered couscous and tagline and both were very delicious and tasty. The meat is very well cooked, variety of vegetables on the couscous as well. And the harira soup was also delicious

Heerlijk gegeten. Lekkere tajine kip met citroen en tuinbonen. Vooraf een prima harira. Geen alcohol, rustige omgeving. Niet perse een hele gezellige sfeer maar het eten maakt dit meer dan goed.

Wonderful dinner. I got the couscous royal with vegetables and it was amazing! So very flavorful and it was a big plate, enough to share. I definitely recommend.
