My experience at this restaurant was excellent. The service was fast and of high quality. The staff was very polite, friendly, and professional in their dealings with guests. The food was delicious and flavorful, and all dishes were fresh and beautifully presented. Moreover, the prices are reasonable and commensurate with the quality of the food and service. I certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and excellent service.

Beautiful restaurant, very clean, incredibly sweet and professional staff. They really give you the best service and take their time. You also get nice little extras like a small bowl of olives. Good food and large portions for a low price.

This place is going downhill fast. The restaurant is too crowded and cramped, creating a messy atmosphere. Staff squeeze through seated guests with food. The staff take little pleasure in their work or customer contact, are inexperienced, and lack hospitality, service, and leadership. The traditional Friday couscous with lamb was so mushy it was baby food. The vegetables were overcooked and also mushy. The tfaya was ice-cold sugar water with cinnamon straight from the freezer. Onion or raisins were barely present. The lamb and the gravy from the couscous were otherwise fine. The mixed salad was tasteless; it had no vinegar, oil, or salt, and the entire salad had an overpowering refrigerator taste. The harira was hot but lacked authentic flavor; it was clearly diluted with hot water. Chicken satay with fries was decent, although the chicken satay was fried "crispy." It is a shame that a place frequently visited as the number 1 spot over the past 2 years is declining so rapidly. Hopefully, the owner will take back control and teach the staff their own qualities and skills.

After years of nostalgia, I returned, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The quality of the food has clearly deteriorated. Dishes lacked flavor and the meat was dry, which you wouldn't expect from a Moroccan restaurant with this reputation. The service also didn't impress. The staff seemed inexperienced, and communication was difficult. Moreover, the prices are steep, while the quality is no longer commensurate. It's a real shame, as this used to be a place you were proud to visit. Hopefully, they'll invest in quality and service again.

Pretty stingy, if you pick up your dish, you can't even fill a sandwich with the shawarma. This with a dish costing 28 euros...

First time having Maroccan food and dare I say that I am impressed. The food here feels like food that gives off the warmth of home. The tajine surprised me with its clear and subtle flavors. Nothing too overpowering to retain (perhaps enhancing would be a better word) the natural flavors of the ingredients. Also don't forget to try some Maroccan tea and cookies as dessert!

A real disaster The minced meat wasn't beef or lamb; it was simply minced chicken seasoned with beef. And the prices are sooooooooo high for such shitty food. Our experience was unfortunately not as good as expected.

A bit on the pricier side lately. I haven't been for a while and the menu has become considerably more expensive compared to comparable places in Utrecht.

The food is original from Morocco and the taste is delicious! The portions are abundant and the value is fair. The waiter was super kind and the dishes arrived quickly. I will definitely be back.

Salam u 3alikum. I don't share this to give the business a bad name because elhamdulillah. Really good food. And the service from our waiter was top notch. But subhannallah the cook behind the counter was disrespectful (an older man with a bit of a gray beard). I asked our waiter if there happened to be a prayer room to pray in. Not a very strange question. To which the waiter calmly responded that he would see if this was possible and where this was possible. The cook then shouted loudly at the waiter I was standing by. NO!! he no one is allowed to pray here. If he wants to pray he can do so in the mosque!! All this while I was standing in front of him and he could tell me this directly, but he didn't think I was worth a glance and looked very disapproving. This in the presence of several guests. I offered subhannallah my apologies out of fear and shame for asking the cook, but again no look or confirmation... Wallahi I'm really sorry. I understood a "no, sorry" and then the tip where I could pray for guidance. But to respond like that was not appropriate, and not at all something I expected when I was asked if there happened to be a prayer room. No smile, no look and also completely rejecting something in ignore mode did something. Elhamdulilah I had really eaten well and had no negative experience. But as a Muslim I felt unwanted by a fellow Muslim. And he was not a young person who would just work there. This seemed to me to be someone who had a say there. I felt small and hurt by this man. May Allah forgive him. I don't want to say anything about me being a man of color and that having anything to do with it. But the feeling I am left with is that I was far from welcome with him.

Quality price ratio is less. Service, hygiene and also the presentation are good. The portions are also big enough. But what really matters is the quality of the dishes (especially the freshness of the ingredients) could be much better. They have to be careful that they don't become like the (former) Chinese restaurants.. Unfortunately, the tea recently was not worth the price either. Just fill the glass with hot water and add mint and you're done, I wouldn't really call it Moroccan (quality) tea

Du maroc is echt een familie restaurant. Waar we vaker komen met onze gezin /ouders. Je waant je letterlijk even in Marokko Het eten is echt lekker zoals t hoort en goede service. Supergezellige gastheer met heerlijk traditionele gebruiken & leuke kletspraat gedurende de avond. , die mijn moeder met galtou (tante) aansprak. Thee b reza aan tafel voor ons inschonk. Minpuntje, als je spontaan met groep wilt gaan moet je wel vooraf bellen of ze plek hebben. MasaAllah Allahoumabarek altijd bomvol.

De muntthee (kleine theepot) was erg lekker maar het broodje tonijnsalade was een stuk minder. Het brood erg oud en weinig tonijnsalade zelf, wel veel augurk tomaat en komkommer

Eten is geweldig, ik en mijn familie gaan vaak hier naar toe vanwege de goede service. Eten is gewoon op en top en de sfeer is top je wordt goed ontvangen en je wordt altijd geholpen. Kortom echt een aanrader!!

We have had many dinners in Moroccan restaurants, in France and in Marrakech, so yes we compare. We both had the chicken couscous on Friday night (couscous only on Friday) and it was excellent, authentic with lots of vegetables and as much extra jus (sauce) we wanted. The whole vibe is Moroccan and they greeted us in Arabic which we don't speak. We ordered in French which gave us a holiday feeling. We were also served quickly. Can definitely recommend this place!

Super vriendelijke mensen en lekker eten. Ik neem daar altijd de visschotel mix, vissoep en Marokkaanse thee. Op de vrijdag hebben ze traditionele Marokkaanse couscous:) dat verkoopt bijna niemand in Amsterdam.
