Just really top-notch, don't even have much to say, it was simply perfect.

Good breakfast, Moroccan mint tea is delicious; I felt like I was in the mountains of Morocco. Definitely worth repeating.

Every time they say the payment machine is not working and that we have to pay by cash. This is very annoying.

I was actually planning to have breakfast at Kahvealtı on Bos en Lommerweg, where I normally always go for Turkish breakfast. Because I had two guests visiting today and we didn't leave until around 3:00 PM, we were unfortunately too late to have breakfast there. That is why we searched for another place to eat nearby via Google. That is how we ended up at Marbaba BoLo, a Moroccan eatery. Based on the photos and reviews, it seemed like a suitable place, so we decided to give it a try. Once inside, we saw that you have to order via a QR code on the table. That is where things went wrong right away. Apparently, someone had sat at the same table before us, ordered something, and then moved to another table. As a result, we were unable to place an order, which took quite a bit of time. Eventually, this was resolved, and we were able to order after all. We ordered three Moroccan breakfasts, which included food and drinks, one extra banana shake, and later an extra avocado shake was placed on the table that we hadn't ordered. We didn't make a fuss about that. When I wanted to pay, the young employee told me that there was a card payment system malfunction and that I could only pay in cash. I didn't mind that. I then clearly asked what the total amount was. He replied: €52. To be sure, I even asked again: "€52?" To which he answered in the affirmative. After that, I went to withdraw cash at the Albert Heijn around the corner. When I returned, a different, older employee was standing behind the counter. I gave him €60 and received €5 back. At the time, I found that strange, but because I had been clearly told earlier that it cost €52, I assumed it was correct. Once home, however, it kept bothering me. That is why I called the business. The same young employee retrieved the order and read everything out one by one. I confirmed that everything was correct. Then he told me that the total amount was €42. I replied: "But didn't you tell me in the store that it was €52?" His answer was: "Sorry, apologies if I said it wrong." In other words: I paid €10 too much. Whether this was a mistake or not, I will leave open. The fact remains that I was initially told €52, while the employee later confirmed himself that the correct bill amounted to €42. I never got my €10 back either. Precisely because we are all Muslims, you expect honesty. In Islam, it is haram to take money from someone else unjustly, regardless of whether it concerns €1 or €10. I am extremely disappointed with this experience. It is not even about that €10 for me, but about the principle. It is my haqq (right), and I hope that this will be handled more carefully in the future. Unfortunately, for me, this is a reason not to return here, even though I was told that I could simply come and collect the remainder of my money. It is no longer efficient at all to drive back from outside Amsterdam for 10 euros (fuel costs) and pay parking fees, only to then retrieve the 10 euros I overpaid.

I'm from Brussels, but I think the restaurant is top-notch and very good.

Meh food and they don't accept any international nor Dutch Mastercard! You specifically need to have some special dutch card to pay. There's several better places around that you can go instead. Avoid this place

Decent food but the service is quite poor. They don’t have English menus and the staff especially the guy at cash will continue to speak to you in a foreign language even if you tell him you don’t know English. Also the wait time is too long.

Every year, we go out for dinner at Marhaba with the volunteers from our location, and it is always a highlight. The staff are incredibly kind and hospitable and really know how to make it a party every year. What we also greatly appreciate is how they think along with us. With our limited budget, they do their utmost to make it possible for everyone to experience a real "dining out" feeling. That makes it extra special for our target group! Thanks to the entire Marhaba team for the warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere, and great service for our 50 volunteers!

What a pleasure to eat here again. Everything deserves 5 stars. The food was deliciously fresh and didn't take too long. The gentlemen were very friendly. My daughter and I had a chicken dish and a dessert. Coffee and tea. Very tasty. The prices are reasonable. I forgot to take a picture. Everything was already gone. Thanks, gentlemen.

Absolute banger!!! Best authentic, original Moroccan Mint Tea in Amsterdam. Beef Tagine was full of flavour and the beef was so tender. Tagine Kefta was sensational as well. Their Mesamn with Honey and cheese? No words could describe it.. Will be back soon no doubt

Eating is manageable, but they forget a lot and make it difficult to replace shakes, like no one drinks avocado shake. Anyone who has breakfast leaves the Shake alone. Their menu states that you get both cheese and la vache cerie, but in the end it is 1 out of 2. They could really provide much better service with gloves on for hygiene reasons. And above all, be more customer-friendly

Moroccan breakfast for little money. Fried eggs, sausage, la vache qui rit cheese, olives and a basket of bread. Coffee or tea and an avocado smoothie. All doable, but not really great. Bread could be a bit fresher.

As a convert you are often looking for a nice restaurant that is also Halal. This Moroccan restaurant has good food and is also affordable (this is rare in the Netherlands). I've been there before and it's always delicious. My compliments to the chefs MashAllah. I come more often In Sha Allah.

I went there with my class when we were on a school trip and the food was so delicious and the service was fast too. I recommend the chicken sandwich, it was so good and their strawberry banana smoothie was sooo good. Would love to visit with my family one day.
