This Dutch Pancake restaurant is authentic and beloved by the locals. I take my family here often. The negative comments are mainly coming from tourists who are not used to Dutch culture. The staff is friendly and professional.

If you want real old-fashioned pancakes, this is the place. The food was good. The service was friendly but a bit clueless.

The pancakes are delicious, but it wasn't exactly cozy. It's a great place for small children, though!

A cozy and pleasant restaurant. It wasn't busy when we were there. The most important thing is that we had a delicious meal.

The food was truly delicious and we all enjoyed it. The service was super friendly and attentive, making us feel completely at home. We especially loved the play area for the little guests, which provided lots of fun. We've definitely resolved to come back on our next vacation. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening!

The pancakes were delicious, but the service was terrible! We weren't greeted upon arrival. After waiting five minutes, we walked up to the waitress ourselves to ask if we could order. "I'm busy," was the rude response, even though only two other customers had already been served. While taking our order, she didn't look at us, didn't say anything, and seemed very irritated.

Zeer onvriendelijk personeel. We werden niet begroet. Na 5 wachten vroegen we of we konden bestellen en was het bitse antwoord dat ze bezig was, Toen we uiteindelijk konden bestellen zij ze niet, keek ze ons niet aan en leek ze geïrriteerd

A POOR, SCREWY, and GREEDY PLACE!!!! NEVER AGAIN! - Poor quality for the high price. - The coffee is awful! I thought it was just mine... no. - Small glass of tap water €1.50?!?!? Well, I was lucky; in other reviews, they charged €3! - Asked for caramel syrup for coffee €1!?!? - The pancakes were a bit burnt. - The staff... that was a bit strange, I understand everything... but one young man stared straight into my eyes. I couldn't eat in peace, so I moved with a friend so my back was to them. - At first, the young man stared constantly, but when we needed him, he was behind the bar on his phone, and we politely waited with our hands up before he saw us. - Better to go to a more luxurious place than his old and expensive one! You'd pay less for nothing even in a fancy restaurant. I wanted to go here for a long time, but I left so sad! - Interior… hard to say. They could make such a beautiful place, but it was as if nothing was done with it. Old and scary, also empty. Garden tables were placed inside. - They try to make money on everything. Toys for children in a strange window, tap water… interesting. If I ask for sugar or napkins, they'll charge too? That's not even on the menu! Tap water is €1.50. And the same with caramel syrup: €1… NEVER AGAIN

We were gonna order food here, but the waiter was being creepy and staring at my girlfriend. Then they wanted to charge us 1.50 euros for tap water. The whole place was just meh, so we left.

Bediening lijkt er geen zin in te hebben. Meer druk met elkaar dan met de mensen die in de zaak zitten. Traag met bestelling op nemen.

For our son's birthday, we came to Pannenkoe Lisse with the family, eager to make use of the 'unlimited pancake eating' arrangement. We ordered the unlimited menu three times and once a children's menu for our son, who had just turned three. The atmosphere was initially pleasant and we enjoyed the first round of pancakes. When our little man saw a strawberry pancake at his sister's and wanted to try a bite, we of course complied. As a family, we find sharing important and pleasant, especially on a birthday. To our surprise, someone from the kitchen - whom we had not seen before - suddenly came to our table with a brochure about the conditions of the arrangement. In a rather authoritarian and unfriendly tone, it was made clear to us that sharing pancakes is not allowed, not even if it concerns a few bites for a three-year-old child. They even said that they could stop baking now. This felt very unpleasant and unfriendly to us. We therefore decided to leave it at that and left with a bad feeling. It is a great pity that a small child who wants to have a bite to eat with his mother and sister on his birthday is treated so strictly and unsociably. In short: The food was fine, but the way we were addressed and treated unfortunately left our festive day with a bad aftertaste. Hopefully, in the future, families with young children will be treated more flexibly and customer-oriented.

Cozy and delicious food, plenty of choice

This afternoon we ate mini pancakes and pancakes with our grandson. Everything was perfect, including the service.

On Mother's Day I had a portion of mini pancakes and a pancake with my mother. It was, as it always is, well taken care of and very tasty. Lovely in the spacious garden, bathed in sunshine. As a surprise, a beautiful Mother's Day gift. A gift wrapping from Janzen. How sweet!

The vegetarian pancake was soo good, but the cherry pancake has nothing special.

Very expensive for what it is! Supplement of 1 euro for ketchup in a tube, and also one euro for mayonnaise, without telling us that it is extra (nothing written on the card).

Waited for an hour but no pancake. Staff didn't even seem to understand why I only wanted to pay for the drinks. Apparently normal.

Pancake was ok. Service needs improvement

Horrible service. Nobody came to serve us after we entered the restaurant. We had to bring our own menu and utensils to the table and walk to the counter and order. Staff was also very strict against drinking our own water in the restaurant. After we requested for ONE cup of tap water (which is free in most places), the staff demanded us to pay €3.95 without informing us the charge beforehand. The price for tap water was also not stated on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant. I’m not sure if it’s the national law to pay for tap water in Amsterdam, but it’s indeed the only restaurant I’ve ever been to that charges nearly €4 for one cup of tap water.

Food was ok, service was bad and I was charged 3 euros for a glass of tap water despite it not being on the menu. No one served us at first, we had go take the menus ourselves and walk to the counter to place our order after waiting for 10 minutes, although the place only had 2 tables of customers when we were there. Then we waited for 25 more minutes before our pancakes are served. I took a sip of water from my own water bottle, and the waitress told me off saying that I can’t do that in there. She kept staring at me for the rest of the time just to make sure I’m not drinking any water. So I asked her to bring me a cup of tap water instead. When we were leaving, the waitress told me that I need to pay 3 euros for my tap water. I asked her to show the price of tap water to me on the menu. She could not find it on the menu, but she insisted that the law in Netherlands mandates all restaurants to charge for tap water??? She didn’t let us leave until we paid and we were in the rush for time(partly because of the long time it took for our food to be served) so we just paid and got out of there.

Food is great, but staff is not interested in attending customers... improve!

Had lunch here a few weeks ago. Pancakes were still old-fashioned large and well-filled (not downsizing like many competitors). Furthermore, both the kids and adult desserts were good in portion and quality. Service was also friendly and not pushy. Definitely recommended if you like good portions!

We visited Pannenkoe Lisse one evening in December and although there were certainly positives, we found the experience as a whole to be disappointing. Positive points: - The staff was friendly and helpful. - The pancakes arrived on the table quickly. - The restaurant was nicely decorated in a Christmas atmosphere. Improvement points: 1. Temperature: It was quite cold in the restaurant, possibly due to single glazing and radiators that didn't seem to be warm. 2. Service: It took a long time for our order to be taken, while staff seemed to be socializing in the kitchen. Moreover, the drinks only came after the pancakes, which is unusual. 3. Food: One of the pancakes was lukewarm and the plates were cold, so the food got cold quickly. After reporting twice, the pancake was reheated, but by then it was already half eaten. 4. Vegan options: It was nice that an adjustment could be made to the vegetarian pancake, but the walnuts were so plentiful that the taste became bitter. Other nuts, such as cashews or hazelnuts, would be better. We have emailed the restaurant about the above points. This showed that the restaurant's intention is to take feedback into account, but the overall impression of our visit was negative. We hope that the points raised will be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

Excellent cheerful and fast service. Tasty food and normal prices. I like to come there regularly. Recommended.

The pancakes were undercooked twice. I had an apple pancake with raisins, my husband had an apple and bacon. We returned them, then the same pancakes came back and we were told to put them in the pan for a while so they could continue cooking. .well not.still remained undercooked,I said I didn't want to eat myself sick.It was said you can't get sick because there are no eggs in the pancakes.A regular one was served Made a plain pancake but it was also not cooked, very wet on the inside. Very unfortunate. We have never had such a bad meal here. Very unfortunate.

Wat een rottent !!!! Geven aan kindjes van 1 en 2 jaar een box met knuffel en dan later zeggen hadden dit niet moeten geven .. mogen we het terug ?terwijl die kleintjes de knuffels al hebben .. pannenkoeken die koud zijn !!

What a super fun place for children (and adults). The pancakes, salads and soup were delicious, but also so nice that the little ones could have fun playing in the play corner! What lovely people you are, we will definitely come back!

Delicious pancakes. Nice spot at the beginning of the restaurant where children can play. Right next to the front door and not much of an overview from your table, except for the first two tables. Children can get a present from the grab machine after dinner. The restaurant looks nicely decorated

I had lunch here and ordered a vegan pancake after reading online that they also have vegan pancake batter. But this is not listed on the map. The service was good and so was the food. The restaurant has a very nice outdoor area, which I liked. Overall, a nice visit with a solid meal. And really great that there was a vegan option 😊

We walked in on spec and we really enjoyed it! The pancakes were very tasty & big enough as a hot meal :) The terrace looked cozy, but we sat inside because of the falling temperatures - inside it is nice but not special, but the pancakes certainly make up for that! The sticker on the window "1st place Dutch pancake baking championship" is there for a reason ;)

Very pleasant restaurant, warm and family atmosphere. The pancakes are very very good and generous. The country decor will make even the most grumpy people smile. Finally, the staff is very friendly, the service fast and efficient. A good evening in perspective. I highly recommend.

Het was een mooie lentedag, voorin was het terras vol. Gelukkig hebben ze ook een terras achterin. Helaas bleek dat het personeel dit terras ook niet wist te vinden. Na een half uur opgestaan omdat er nog niemand was langsgekomen om drinken op te nemen en om de kaart te brengen. Het personeel interesseerde het ook niets dat we met een huilend kind wegliepen, die zooooo graag een pannenkoek wilde .

Bad service 10 people difference between first and last pancake must be at least an hour, last pancake refused but it was on the bill, got 13,- return instead of 13,75. The tea towel covering the bottle of wine was dirty, smelled like beer and also had 2 huge holes in the cloth, what a shame

Cute cow-themed pannenkoek restaurant near Keukenhof. If you’re craving classic Dutch pancakes before or after your Keukenhof visit, you can’t go wrong! Nice team of servers and reliably good pancakes of all the usual varieties.

Had a delicious meal with family tonight and celebrated my birthday! Pancakes were great, service very good and child-friendly and the kids had a great time in the fun play area 😊 Came here as a small child at Vrouw Holle, now as Pannekoe it's still fun! Will definitely come back again!

Very nice place, but when hardly anyone was eating, all the staff were in the kitchen. The floor is then not monitored for customer questions. They certainly could have gotten some extra drink sales if they had done that. "Is everything as desired?" "Would you like something to drink?" Small things that can improve the service, to get a higher star from me for that part.

Lots of trouble with children running around and screaming, drinks are really outrageously expensive. Food was fine, but 3.75 for a 175 ml bottle of cassis is really something to be ashamed of!!

Gut gegessen! Wirklich! Alle Gerichte waren liebevoll und reichlich zubereitet. Mit knapp 80 Euro für 4 Pannekoeken, 2 kleine Bier und eine Flasche auch nicht ganz günstig. Dennoch - auch Gastronomen und Servicekräfte müssen von etwas leben können. Von daher: Daumen hoch 👍! 😄

Richtiger Touristenpunkt, für Toiletten muss man auch bezahlen wenn man was isst. Preislich etwas hoch und schnelle Abfertigung.

Niet best. Maar als je niet aan klantenbinding doet maar puur voor toeristen werkt kan je voorzetten wat je wilt en de prijs vragen die je wilt.

They were so accommodating and friendly. They were clearly short staffed but managed it well. We were late for our reservation, but they were very helpful and welcoming regardless.

We haden een voorgerecht stokbrood met kruiden boter besteld . Maar de pannekoeken waaren eerder dan de stokbrood met kruiden boter. Ook moesten we zelf vragen om nog een ronden drinken. En om het deser. Want ze waren al druk bezig met schoonmaken van de koffie apparaat en wet elkaar. Op den duur kwamen er nog mensen binnen en die werden weg gestuurd. Om dat ze dicht gingen. Wij voelden ons dus een beetje gegekeken .

Wir haben nett gesessen und es war lecker. Für zwei süße Pfannekuchen und zwei Bier haben wir knapp 28 Euro bezahlt.

Simulation This place was weird. Everyone sat outside, and we were the only ones inside. The whole experience was surreal. Nostalgic tree and pictures inside, but the people felt off. One person came to our table and got us to order, then came back ten minutes later and didn't remember us, even though we were the only people inside. Toilet was also weird because the door didn't close and didn't have a lock. This whole experience added up something that felt like a simulation, and I will remember it for the my whole life. Good food though.

We stopped in here only for a drink. Excellent, friendly service. Would definitely return as the pancakes looked delicious.

Prima plek om met (klein)kinderen een pannenkoek te eten. Ook hebben ze prima burgers in diverse varianten met frites. Er is een kleine speelplek en een terras. Kleintjes mogen een klein cadeautje uit de grijpkast halen. Ook is er creatiwf nagedacht over de kinder- en seniorentoetjes. Jammer is dat er voor een beetje mayo ook betsld moet worden.

Een gezellig knus restaurant waar je niet het gevoel krijgt dat je in een mega restaurant zit waar je onpersoonlijk bediend wordt. Betrokken mensen die weten hoe het ook kan! Door dit restaurant hebben wij afscheid genomen van die grote restaurants waar gezelligheid ver te zoeken is. Een aanrader!

We hebben vandaag 1 maart gegeten bij de pannekoe te Lisse. Op het eerste gezicht een gezellig tentje. Wij bestelde deze pannekoeken: apfelstrudel met slagroom en ijs (€ 17,25) en de pannekoek appel karamel zeezout (€12,95). De pannenkoeken vielen erg tegen vooral apfelstrudel, dit was gewoon een opgerolde pannekoek met appel en rozijn. En een heel klein toefje slagroom en een minuscuul bolletje ijs. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding gewoon heel slecht. Veel te duur , zeker in vergelijking met pannenkoekenboerderij katwijk. Deze was echt geweldig.

Gezellige zaak, vriendelijke bediening, uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Naast traditionele pannenkoeken ook verrassende combinaties op het menu. En wat ander lekkers voor wie geen pannenkoek wil. Prima afsluiting (met of zonder kroost) na een bezoek aan de Keukenhof of na een stevige wandeling in de Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen.

Great atmosphere, it really gives off the cozy vibes of a farm, its nice and busy and has alot of options on the menu. I had the pancake with saté and it was absolutly amazing!

Grote pannekoeken Een naturel pizza heb je met de Rotterdampas gratis. Verse ananas is ook echt vers. Helaas slagroom is uit een spuitbus. Genoeg plek vrij in de zaak.

Hoe grappig dat je ver van Rotterdam kan eten met de Rotterdampas. En de pannenkoeken waren heerlijk.

Leuke tent, waren er een paar jaar geleden geweest. Nu andere eigenaar. Gezellig en prima met kinderen te doen. Personeel vriendelijk en rijke kaart. Keuze genoeg.
