Great pancake house! Yesterday, during the hot weather, we cycled to the pancake house. We hadn't made a reservation but fortunately managed to get a table. Thanks to the misting system, it was a pleasant place to be despite the warm weather. The waitresses are nice and do their best. The service is efficient and we didn't have to wait long, which was nice because we were with our 11-month-old son. The pancakes are generously topped, excellent!

The pancake was too thick and just practically raw. Additionally, I ordered a bacon and cheese pancake and received a ham and cheese pancake, and the friend I was with ordered a ham and cheese one and probably got my pancake (the waitress had swapped them). Upon arriving home, we both immediately ran to the toilet to throw up because the pancakes were that bad. In terms of price, the pancakes are cheap, but you can clearly taste it in the quality. After contacting the Pannekoekenboerderij, they offered a suitable solution, which is why I am increasing the rating to 3 stars.

How do you manage that in a pancake farm? On a quiet evening, the raisin apple pancake was burnt on the outside and really undercooked on the inside. On the 2nd attempt, it was slightly better. Tastes may differ, but if you're looking for a flavorful pancake, this isn't the place to be. By the way, if you have an open kitchen, as a cook (at least... an 18-year-old girl), you really should look less bored... jeez. If you don't like your job, find something else.

Actually, I wanted to give a 3.5, but that’s not possible, and I think a 4 is just a bit too much. The tomato soup was delicious; the Parisian pancake had 3 pieces of brie on it, a little bit of walnuts, some shavings, and some arugula in the middle. For that 17 euros, I expected a bit more filling. The pizza bolognese, on the other hand, had way too much on it. Maybe they should pay a bit more attention to the proportions. The dessert, the fruit cocktail, was unfortunately just from one of those supermarket cans. The service was simply friendly. We had been here before, and that was much better, but after this time, we are looking for another place.

Stuffy air inside, everything very cramped inside. Little space between the tables, wait staff have to walk around an annoying pillar every time. The pancakes were not great.

Grossly overrated, the pastry with chicken regout was not tasty, probably from a tin containing some homemade (overcooked) chicken pieces. Mini pancakes from a bag (supermarket product), and an Italian pancake, which is not worth repeating. They won't see me here again.

I had very good experiences here as a child. Later with my own children too, and recently went again with them, but it was disappointing. We came via SocialDeal, which means you get a different menu. One of the children dropped and broke a bottle of drink. We pointed this out politely regarding the cleaning cloths, but no one came with cloths or to clean up, so I had already started cleaning it up myself. In the meantime, a member of staff did come to ask what we wanted to eat. When I started cleaning up myself later, someone came with cloths and cleaning supplies. The food wasn't like it always was; soup or baguette, though the baguette and herb butter were decent. The soup wasn't to our taste, it was tomato and onion soup. The pancakes were much smaller, and the knives were blunt, making them barely cut. The poffertjes weren't homemade, and the vanilla ice cream was just soft serve in a cup 😅. There used to be an indoor playroom for the children, but we didn't see that either. Not a place we would return to; we found the quality so disappointing, which is why we gave it 1 star. Your response as a restaurant owner is primarily disrespectful; you won't attract any customers with that.

Pancakes are well-stocked with the requested ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed them. However, we do not appreciate screaming children and the like during a meal. I would say keep your children under control. Also, think of other guests! Service is prompt and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Update March 11, 2026: Had another great pancake here. But this time, too, incredibly annoying screaming children. Parents were too busy with themselves. A bit of parenting perhaps?

What a terrible place this is. The soup is lukewarm, and the pancakes are so thick they're not cooked through. And if you have a complaint, they say it's because of the topping. "We can make you a plain pancake every now and then, and then just add the topping." If you can't make pancakes, don't sell them to your customers. After that, I drove to the pancake restaurant in Woudenberg. What a world of difference. From now on, I'll just drive a little further for a better pancake. A bunch of pancakes at Pancake Farm Grietje. Unfortunately, in your response, you suggested we ate for free; we simply returned the Social Deal. After contacting Social Deal, you weren't willing to cooperate. We only received the drink as compensation. You're telling Social Deal a different story than the solution you offered us. I just wanted to mention this.

Nice little restaurant with friendly staff and a wide selection of pancakes. It's a shame the poffertjes weren't homemade. Unfortunately, our experience was otherwise disappointing. The pancakes were served cold. We saw them sitting on the counter for a while without a heat lamp, and it took several minutes before they were served. We politely pointed this out, but because we were in a hurry, we couldn't wait for new pancakes. They said they would look into it, but ultimately, no solution was offered. When we paid, the only response was, "Oh, that's annoying."

I used the Social Deal, which is highly recommended. It's great that you can also order "special" items for a small extra charge. I had a very tasty, crispy, and very filling (!) pancake with bacon and ginger. The dessert was generously sized, but definitely delicious. Later, I used a walking Social Deal, which was also great.

The hospitality was excellent, the staff was great, the place was clean, and the food and drinks were fantastic. Highly recommended! 4 years later, it's still excellent.

Addition to M. Edance's review and your response to it. I didn't accept my pancake after two attempts. An undercooked pancake with cheese and onions ended up on my plate. Unfortunately, there was little response to my complaint. So, something was definitely said about it during our visit, not just online. By "pancake maker," do you mean the machine operated by two young women? A machine that prepares the pancake? I have a different image of a pancake maker... Update regarding Grietje's response: It's a shame you reacted that way. My review was based on my experience: the pancake wasn't done. Mentioning that isn't an "unfair accusation" but honest feedback. How you respond to this may say more about your approach than my assessment.

Worst pancake I've ever eaten. We already sent one back because it was like mush. They're not fried in a pan, but on a carousel. It smelled terrible. I could go on, but let's keep it friendly. Response to your answer: Please take people's complaints seriously and do something about it! This was our experience! The pancake simply wasn't cooked!

We didn't feel welcome here. Children are expected to sit in their own seats, even though the rest of the restaurant is empty and a few were just huddled around the table. We pulled up an extra chair from another table. That's not supposed to happen, because that table was reserved (the entire restaurant was still empty). The staff doesn't have a positive attitude. After the pancakes, the table isn't cleared. When you get dessert, the plates remain on the table until you leave. We'll look for a child-friendly pancake restaurant next time. We also mentioned this when we paid, and that we didn't feel welcome "was absolutely not the intention." Unfortunately, we didn't notice that.

We come here monthly, almost weekly, to enjoy a delicious pancake, so we're definitely regulars. Tonight, we received one apple strudel pancake covered in hard skins that looked like chunks of core. We were definitely not used to this from the kitchen. We've ordered this pancake here many times! After a few bites, we complained, and by then the edge of the plate was already covered in various hard pieces of skin. The response we got was: "Thanks for reporting it." No apology, or "I'll fix it..." "Thanks for reporting it, that's what you'll do when the soap in the toilet runs out." So, no action was taken, and we just had to make do. We were both truly surprised! We continued picking at the skins and finished the pancake. After speaking to the manager (a young, stubborn girl), we were allowed a small scoop of ice cream as a gesture of goodwill, after being difficult and difficult. A sunny weekend, and then you put down one pancake baker on Saturday night. Unannounced waiting times of more than an hour are the result, much to the dissatisfaction of the public. Very bad service! And if you complain after 75 minutes that it is taking too long, you have grumpy service for the rest of the evening.

Ordered a shoarma pancake. We often eat pancakes but this one was bizarre. Iceberg lettuce roughly chopped and thrown on it. Garlic sauce from a bottle. Loveless! The other pancake was not cooked at all. Not recommended from this side. Too bad, some small adjustments and it is much better.

Last week we had dinner with 5 people. The soup was delicious, but unfortunately my pancake was very thick and not cooked. They tried to solve it neatly by making a new pancake, but unfortunately the bacon was black and not tasty. Despite the fact that only we and another couple were inside, I only got my pancake after waiting 25 minutes. Too bad. Small update after feedback from the owner. It is true that I have given a number of less positive reviews, but the reviews are extensively substantiated. The fact that someone does his/her best does not automatically mean that service, eating experience etc. is automatically good. I also discussed my issue clearly and showed it to the serving staff twice and they could only confirm that my complaint about the pancake was justified. The other pancakes, on the other hand, were fine, but mine was not. Perhaps because there had been a change of chef? No idea. In general, all my reviews are positive, you could have read this, but if something is not good, this may also be said, provided it is substantiated.

Ate pancakes here last week. I ordered an Italian pancake without mushroom. It could have been very tasty, but I thought there was too much tomato sauce on it, which made the pancake very wet. There was also a lot of cheese on it, which I normally like on a pizza, but was very extreme on the pancake. Ice cream was tasty. Service was reasonable. Just dropping a glass of drink over someone (not tidying up) and forgetting a pancake. Otherwise nice.

Nice and funny restaurant inside, the ladies are friendly, and not really expensive, and if you assume that, you can eat there! It tasted really good!

The service is top notch. The girls at the service are very quick. We could therefore eat quickly and return home quickly. But we found the food mediocre. The Parisian pancake had scant toppings and the brie also tasted very bitter. Even with some syrup it still wasn't tasty. We ordered poffertjes for our daughter. But they came from a back kitchen. They were reheated, not fresh (perhaps from yesterday?) and not cooked. The Chevre pancake was delicious, except for the large chunks of lettuce thrown on top. For dessert we ordered a fruit cocktail with ice cream. Then you expect them to take the trouble to just peel and cut some fruit. But we got fruit from a can (including a lot of juice), whipped cream from a spray can and dessert sauce from the Jumbo bottles. We don't think it's recommended.

Today October 6 Visited this restaurant with 4 people. Two of us had pancakes with raisins. We didn't like that the raisins in the pancakes were burnt. We reported it and the waiter took notice. We experienced it as very distant and not solution (service) oriented. The young girls of the intention are still allowed to do no blame. but the manager can be present a little more guiding and guiding and not let the young service take the coals out of the fire .

On this last day of summer (22 September) we ate a delicious sorbet on the sunny terrace. Enjoyed it

Op zich prima plek om te eten. Vriendelijke bediening. Stoelen zaten niet lekker. Je blijft daardoor niet lang zitten. Geen ijsje en koffie gedaan vanwege de slechte stoelen. Prijs/ kwaliteit is prima. Wel dikke pannenkoek. Waarom wordt de banaan niet meegebakken maar er in partjes bovenop gelegd? Dan had ik zelf mijn banaan wel mee kunnen nemen en ter plekke in plakjes kunnen snijden

Just had dinner at pancake house Grietje on 08-06-2024 at Ruwinkel Park in Scherpenzeel. 3 of the 6 pancakes were fried way too dark. We had 2 with ragout and the ragout was crazy. And they remained standing except for 2 bites. We reported it but nothing was done about it. Paid full price and still no apology, sorry or anything offered, worst of all. Atmosphere 5 stars because we make it a party ourselves.

Funny little pancake house. The pancakes tasted good. Price-quality ratio was good. I'm not very pleased with the service. There were 3 young girls standing there while it was very quiet in the restaurant. They were very slow to take an order or new drinks and also looked very sad when they had to do it. Furthermore, soup bowls with hot soup were placed over the heads of others. In addition, there was a lot of noise from the kitchen due to an annoyingly loud beep (for at least 30 minutes) and the service was also chatting a lot with each other. Afterwards I walked to the toilet and immediately heard the girls from the service gossiping inappropriately and unkindly about the company.

We were satisfied and were served very nicely ☺️

Went to dinner at Grietje tonight 🤩 super beautifully decorated! Dear service! The soup was delicious, then we had the bacon pancake with goat cheese, etc.. something really went wrong with my pancake. It was not cooked and the bacon was rock hard.. the delicious dessert made up for everything.. I indicated that the pancake was dirty and has been withdrawn from the account

Nice staff. It smelled strange, somewhat unpleasant inside. Maybe that was also because we were the only ones on a Wednesday afternoon. Pancakes were tasty and the price was good. Nevertheless, I wouldn't go back anytime soon, but I can't clearly explain why not.

Wel goed gegeten.vond de service niet fantastisch. Serveerster tikte zonder erg 150 euro in ipv de door mij gemeldde 115. Geen excuses. Was blij dat ik t zag.

Het personeel was iig heel vriendelijk. De pannenkoeken waren heel erg dik en vet gebakken, spek leek kort gebakken en was dus niet knapperig. We vonden het niet echt lekker.

Top pannenkoeken en leuke bediening

Geen lekkere pannekoeken. Niet echt kwaliteit! Na 1x keer opnieuw geprobeerd. Ik had Bolognese en er was gewoon wat bolognese mengsel, al dan niet uit blik op de pannekoek gedaan. Ik ben 2x geweest, maar geen 3x.

In de middag plaats genomen onder de luivel van het restaurant wat prima vertoeven was. Helaas werd de Pannekoek met de Oosterse ragout dichtgevouwen geserveerd met enkele botsplinters van de kip en 6 gehele Raulierbladeren die er zelf nog even tussen uit gevist moesten worden. Tevens op te hete temperatuur werd de ragout geserveerd waaraan je jezelf lelijk kan verbranden zonder enige waarschuwing. Qua service werden we niet meer gevraagd of we nog wat te drinken wouden ondanks dat alle glazen leeg waren toen het eten werd geserveerd. Dit bleef onveranderd toen ook alle borden leeg waren. Dit lag niet aan de drukte want de terras en het restaurant zaten hoogstens 3/4 groepen mensen waar wij er 1 van waren. Uiteindelijk zijn we zelf maar naar binnen gelopen om de rekening te vragen omdat het personeel het binnen te druk had met hun eigen gang van zaken.

Goede lekkere pannekoeken en vriendelijke, attente bediening

Restaurant is prima. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ook glutenvrij prima. Alleen zou ik een tip aan de eigenaar willen geven. Aangezien het bedienend personeel niet altijd overal vanaf weet of I.v.m bijbaan niet vast personeel. Misschien een apparte lijst met pannenkoeken en dieet ingrediënten die dan wel mogen te maken. Want dat was nu heel onduidelijk en lang uitzoekwerk.

Pannekoeken zijn heerlijk, maar de appeltaart was uit de vriezer en echt niet lekker.

Vooraf gebeld, zoals ook op de kaart staat hebben ze 'van alles in huis voor mensen met een bepaald dieet'. Eenmaal besteld bleek dat bijna niks glutenvrij kon. Teleurstellend. Daarna ook nog vergeten dat het glutenvrij was 😅

Een fijne plek, heerlijke goed gebakken pannenkoeken met een rijk beleg voor een betaalbare prijs. Prima personeel! Zeer aanbevolen!
