I ordered a pizza at 9:15 PM and didn't arrive until 11:00 PM. The pizzas were good, but it took way too long. I called at 10:15 PM and they said they'd be there in 15-20 minutes. Then, 30 minutes later, I kept calling and they didn't answer. It was a shame.

I've never seen such a bad franchise. Ordered at 4:29 PM, and an hour later I've tried calling them five times, but no one answers. This restaurant shouldn't be allowed to stay open.

Horrible!! I've never experienced such a scandalous situation. If I were Papa John's, I'd shut this franchise down immediately. The food arrived at 8:00 PM, while the expected time was 7:03 PM. But they're impossible to reach. And that's what bothers me the most. That's absolutely unacceptable. In Delft, you get garlic butter with every pizza, and that wasn't available here either. Finally, I was back near Papa John's, so I ordered it right away. The quality was also worse than other franchises. Well, never again! If I hadn't paid upfront, they really should have looked into it. They should have added or offered some extras themselves, because this is absolutely terrible.

The app said my pizzas would be ready at 6:55. I got there at 7:00. He said that he had not even started on my pizzas yet. The pizzas do not taste as good as the Papa John's Pizza in the US

At 5:54 PM, we ordered 1 Margherita pizza, 1 garlic bread, and 1 cinnamon swirl. The food quality was mediocre. After waiting over an hour (7:03 PM) for this order, we decided we'd had enough and called to ask where our food was. They said the order had been received, they were going to make it, and it would be delivered in 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, at 7:51 PM (almost an hour later), the third call was answered. After asking again where the order was, they said, "It's on its way," and then hung up. Absolutely outrageous. Finally, at 8:10 PM, we received the order. We waited over 2 hours for a (small) order, received rude customer service, and didn't even receive the sauce we paid for. DO NOT order from here. NOT recommended. 👎🏻

I had to wait more then 2 hour and 30 minutes extra for a very mediocre pizza, don't tell me i will receive it at 20:45 and it's not delivered until after 22:00 this is a joke

The pizza was way too late, and it's missing the garlic sauce and pepper. It's exactly what you'd expect from Papa John's. Furthermore, the pizza tastes like nothing. They promise five cheeses, but maybe try two. The Italian sausage is more like a frikandel with Italian herbs.

Even if you manage to safely enter without breaking your neck over the high threshold, and you've deciphered the difficult-to-read menu, unfortunately, there's not much good to be had. The pizzas have minimal toppings: the meat was barely visible on the shawarma pizza. It says you can also eat in, but the tables in the back turned out to be for delivery drivers only. We had to sit on rickety stools, which was far from comfortable. To make matters worse, the pizza sauce was sold out. The only good thing was that we got another sauce cup for free. I wouldn't go back.

DONT GO THERE!!!! couldn’t eat more than half a pizza ,the dough was raw. Inside it was dirty and the toilet didn’t even have toilet paper. Really messy place. If you have the choice , I would advise anybody to starve before going there.

One of the worst pizza in my life. Pizza was just no taste. I ordered cola, I received cola zero. They wrote delivery will be at 17:45 it was at 18:45. Never again! And they don't pick up the phone!

Last night around 10:10 PM, I ordered three pizzas. The order said it would take 30 to 35 minutes. It was midnight and my order hadn't arrived. I tried to contact the pizzeria, but they didn't answer. By 12:20 AM, my order arrived. All three pizzas were cold and of poor quality. Nothing like Papa John's.

Horrible service , the restaurant guys delayed delivery by 2 hours and pizzas arrived cold . And they kept saying it will arrive in 20 minutes . We ordered garden veggie pizza and the toppings were hardly 10 kernels of sweet corn and a quarter of bell pepper cut. Utter waste of money and time .

I placed my order at 4:54 PM, and it said delivery would take approximately 30 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, I called the store. A staff member answered the phone and said he hadn't even started on my order yet. When I asked how long it would take, he couldn't answer. After waiting an hour, I called again. Again, a staff member helped me, who said the delivery driver was just leaving and that it would take about another 15 minutes. When the order finally arrived, the pizzas were still cold. I find it unacceptable that the delivery was over an hour late, and it's absolutely outrageous that the food was cold as well. This is not the service I expect from you.

I ordered pizzas on Monday evening; the delivery time indicated 30 minutes. At 5:25 PM, I asked at 5:45 PM where the pizzas were. "They were working on them." Ultimately, I had to wait a total of an hour and 45 minutes for two pizzas. You'd expect someone to be so ridiculously late to offer a drink or something as an excuse, but even that was too much to ask. I won't be ordering pizzas from here anymore.

After the new management took over they increased the price but the pizza became pathetic.. I ordered Chicken Shawarma and the pizza literally looks like Margherita.. Almost No cheese no chicken just plain pizza.

The pizza sauce also tasted raw, which made the whole pizza unpalatable. There was almost no chicken on it, even though it should have been a key ingredient. It was a completely tasteless pizza. In addition, we received a very small sauce container, even though we paid €1.30 for it—absolutely disproportionate. When we called about this, a staff member gave us false promises about the delivery time. Finally, the dough was bad, truly subpar. We definitely won't be ordering from here again and wouldn't recommend it to others either.

Unbelievable. I ordered 2 pizzas, 1 with a buffalo swirl and the other without. The restaurant called me in advance to ask if the buffalo swirl should be on the American Hot (as stated on the receipt) or on the sausage pizza. I said that it should be on the American Hot. When I received my pizzas, to my surprise they had put the buffalo swirl on the sausage pizza and only on 1 side on the American Hot pizza??? Probably because he had already put it on the sausage pizza before calling and hoped that this would be enough, since there would still be 1 half without sauce left. Why else would you put the swirl on the correct pizza but only half? I have now tried calling them for an hour but they simply DO NOT answer. Waste of money! I should have listened to the reviews. My partner does not like spicy food so his pizza was nicely ruined and had to order somewhere else. Also the American hot pizza should have been thin and not original... and indeed what many below also say: the standard sauce is not included and neither is the pepper.

I think they recently reopened after being closed for a while. I usually prefer to order from the Rijswijkseweg location, because they always top their pizzas well with peppers and a standard sauce. I really noticed a difference with this order: the toppings were less generous and there were no peppers. I had ordered five extra sauces (which were delivered), but the usual standard sauce per pizza was missing. My 4 cheese pizza looked more like a margherita and the spicy buffalo was very sparsely topped. A real shame, because I am normally a big fan of Papa John's. Hopefully this is temporary, because this was not what I am used to.

We waited over an hour and a half for a pizza delivery. After multiple attempts to get an update, we called the restaurant and were told in an uninterested manner that the delivery would arrive within 10–12 minutes. However, when we called again 15 minutes later, no one answered the phone. Frustrated, we ended up going elsewhere for a very late lunch, and the pizza never arrived. If you’re looking for reliable service, I recommend avoiding this place.

Ordered there twice. Both times estimated delivery in 45 minutes. Actual delivery after more than 2 hours. After calling in on the status, I had been told it is on its way. 45 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. When the pizza eventually arrived, the guests had already left. Avoid ordering at this place.

Ordered chicken shawarma with garlic sauce, but what a mockery! Delivery was within 35 minutes, so pretty neat :) But I received a round fluffy thing that was cut into 6 pieces and after taking a bite of 2 pieces, I gave up. No chicken pieces to be seen, it tasted incredibly creamy and with sauce it was even worse. It looked like a tub of melted butter with 'garlic' written on it. I have ordered salami pizzas before and they were fine, but today's order cannot be called food and is a waste of money.

I wanted to express a BIG thank you for the way the staff at this place took care of a mistake.. So I ordered during a busy evening when the place had a "buy 1 get 1 free" promotion on some of their items. I ordered a 1+1 pepperoni pizza and a 1+1 cinnamon bun special with 2 extra sauces. When the order arrived the driver had 1 box of pizza and 2 boxes of cinnamon buns. I asked him about the second pizza and sauces I had ordered and once we had checked we realized that he had never been given the secon pizza or the two extra sauces I ordered. I had already accepted that I will be having one pizza less tonight and that I will simply ask for my money back from Uber Eats (where I had ordered) for the missing items. I turned to go back upstairs to my appartment when the delivery boy promised me that he would soon be back with my missing pizza. I sort of laughed it off and reminded him that it was OK and went upstairs. But not 20 minutes later there was a person at my door with a fresh pizza, apologizing once again for the mistake and long waiting time.. I do not know what else to say, but THANK YOU for the great service! <3

Ordered multiple pizzas via Papa John’s website last week. Paid it already but the website turned to error so they cannot process my order. Then, being asked to ordered once again via another delivery apps. It worked but we needed to pay again. Was promised to get a refund due to the error order. Several days after, haven’t got anything from them. Called multiple times, they said that the manager who handled this was busy. They cannot promise the date when they handle the refund. Really disappointed with how the experience works.

Very bad delivery service and customer service. I ordered a pizza on Uber 3 hours ago and suddenly Papa John's cancelled my order after 3 hours. Meanwhile tried to call them 3-4 times, simply did not answer my calls. It always took longer than normal delivery time, that is not a problem but this one was outrageous. I think there is room for improvement on delivery.

I've tried papa John's in other countries and in every place they'll give you a butter/garlic sauce included in every pizza. For me that was a papá John's added value. In the Netherlands, specially in Den Haag they don't. They decided not to give you one but if you want that added value, you'll have to pay for it. Honestly that was my customer's added value, a signature detail from the brand and unfortunately that won't happen in the NL. Here you pay for that. DI-SA-PPOINT-ING. Order any other pizza, papa John's is no different than other cheaper brands. Others could be even better. The signature extra added value is charged, lame. Fijne avond allemaal. Love you.

Same experience as everyone else. It’s taken forever. At this point I’ve already cooked for me and my guests, but I can’t cancel the order anymore. After three hours, at 23:00, the guy calls and says he isn’t able to deliver. Thanks. Could have let me known earlier when other restaurants were still open.

After 2+ hours,multiple update requests/unasnwered calls later, the courier rang the bell for a minute straight and brought this cold "double pepperoni" to me. After hearing this promise 5 times falsely and waiting 2.5 hours, the call was no longer answered. I went to the store for a refund, after which I had to wait a week until I got my money back.

Tasty food and delivered quickly

I read the reviews and was honestly worried about my order, however, things became clear when I received my Pizzas. They were a bit late, but delicious! I later on checked with the Manager and understood the reasons for the reviews. Most of them related to deliveries, and having a small staff doesn't always help, a reason also for them not being able to pick up the customer's phone during peak hours (mostly 6pm to 9 pm) when the entire staff gets into preparing the customer's orders. While not discrediting the existing reviews of the people who've had a bad experience, I also felt the absence of good reviews on the shop and their food leaving me struck that good service is not always appreciated, a bit biased in this case. I therefore encourage everyone to give them another chance and share their experiences whether good or bad. The delivery boys try and do their best to get the orders to the customer, but please don't turn a blind eye to the Dutch weather, they still bike, and continue to deliver your orders. Additionally, always remember, online platforms such as Uber eats and Thuisbezorgd don't actually calculate an order's delivery time when a bad weather hits the area, so cut some slack to the Pizza shop, your Pizza will be there nonetheless, and the owner takes active measures if anything goes wrong with your order. All said and done, try them out, but also don't fall for the low ratings. The shop continues to exist and has hundreds of orders everyday 😄 Cheers!

Nu een paar keer besteld, het eten is echt heel erg lekker!! Alleen de bezorgtijden zijn erg lang (1,5 uur!) en als je belt om te vragen waar je eten blijft wordt er niet opgenomen. Ook kan je niet kijken hoe laat het wordt bezorgd via Uber eats, dit kan bij andere wel. Maar de pizza’s en de knoflooksaus maken veel goed!

We ordered via Ubers eats and it was really good. There was something off with our order (the promotion part didn't work) and they called to clarify and sort it out. The delivery was fast and pizza was good, the service was great. Nothing to complain! I will order again in the future

Love the location. This is a decent pizza place if you want to pick up your order, don't go for delivery because I believe they are short staffed for the amount of orders they get.

I was really scarred when my wife told me she ordered here again. Last time (about a year ago) delivery was terrible, we waited more than an hour after our first inquiry. The food was nice but a bit cold… This time everything was much better. Delivery was on time, food was tasty and warm. We will definitely order here again.

I was very afraid after reading so many bad reviews but my order was alright. Arrived just on time in less than 30mins, very warm, tasty.

Tend to forget the dipping sauce and peppers randomly, but the pizzas are pretty nice for the 2-for-1 price
