Papa Johns Pizza in Wijk 09 Geuzen- en Statenkwartier

I recently ordered from here via Uber Eats. The order arrived about an hour late after the expected delivery time, and the pizzas were also quite poor/meagerly topped. I've had the same pizzas at other locations before, but they were all much more generously topped and delivered faster. In short, don't order your Papa John's pizzas here🫡

waited very long for untasty pizza’s. garlic sauce tastes like pure butter and the pizza’s were not good at all, especially considering the price. i called the store a few times because it was taking so long but they never picked up. won’t order from here again

A truly dry, soft pizza, topped very thinly with sauce and barely any toppings. I haven't had such a bad pizza in a long time.

What a tasteless order, a real disappointment. I usually order from a different pizzeria, but I wanted to try this one... yuck, yuck, yuck. It doesn't really matter what you order, it's all the same (a cold, soggy, tasteless piece of dough). I wouldn't recommend it.

Ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas on UberEats, checked the app an hour later cause my order has not arrived - thats when i saw that the restaurant’s status changed to “closed”. I waited another hour, tried asking for an update multiple times in the app, i called the place but no one answered. My food never got delivered. Avoid this place at all costs!! My worst experience ever.

The wrong Ben & Jerry's was delivered. And all the sauces were missing. Called 45 times, only to be pushed away?

Awful pizza, nothing like stated on the site. Moreover it came half-warm. The amount of cheese is super-tiny, this is not papa johns, this is not what i paid for!!

I have now placed the exact same order twice via Uber Eats and both times my order was delivered incorrectly. How hard can it be to just read a receipt and make a pizza correctly? You guys are more expensive than other chains too but provide such poor service… You guys are definitely not worth the money.

Very disappointing experience with Papa Johns . I ordered 2 pizzas with mushrooms and corn (mais) but received 2 pizzas with paprika instead. Mistakes can happen, but what made it worse was the response when I called. The person on the phone was unhelpful and unwilling to offer any solution, no replacement, no refund, nothing. After already waiting a long time for the order, being told “we can’t do anything” is unacceptable. Terrible customer service. I won’t be ordering again.

I ordered 2 medium pizzas, but got 2 with an Italian base instead. In addition, the ranch drizzle was missing on one of the pizzas, the tomatoes were not removed as requested, and I did not receive any pepper or garlic sauce.

Here's another comparison of how small this pizza is for what you needed. This Papa John’s location has officially lost me. For the third time, I received a sausage pizza instead of the pepperoni I ordered. I was hoping it was just bad luck the first two times, but clearly this store just doesn’t care. To make it worse, the order was late — Uber Eats estimated arrival between 17:00–17:20, but it didn’t arrive until after 18:00 (screenshot attached). And when I contacted support, the manager refused to acknowledge the mistake, insisting I got the “correct order.” You can literally see in the photo that it’s not pepperoni. Uber Eats had to escalate the issue because the manager wouldn't take any accountability. No apology, no fix, nothing. I literally had to put this in the garbage because I absolutely hate sausage on pizza.

Ordered a “Double Pepperoni” and got this mess, had one slice that had half a piece of pepperoni on it, what a joke.

DONT BUY HERE! The pizzas were completely cold after a 1 hour delay. We paid via Apple Pay and they made us pay again, because they said we didn't pay!! They didn't move from the door insisting for more than 30 minutes, shameful.

I ordered a pizza which was supposed to arrive within 15 minutes, ended up waiting an hour. I also called the store and they told me they would arrive in 5 minutes, which then ended up being 30. The pizza itself was also of extremely bad quality, I do not recommend. The other time I called they declined the call.

Arrived 1.5 hours late. Food was not tasty and half cold. Would get a 1+1 but got 1 pizza. They did not want to deliver the extra pizza because it would be too late and it was busy, but no compensation was given. And they don't speak Dutch. Worst experience so far.

I still think the pizzas are okay, but the staff at this location clearly doesn't feel like working. Every time I order a pizza here, it arrives an hour or two later and when I call to ask where my order is, it is "It's on the way!" in broken English.

On the google is open at 1pm I came a while ago and unfortunately it's closed.

So, I ordered two double pepperoni pizza's here yesterday ---though not really double pepperoni, even less than a regular amount of pepperoni was on it. But hey, the 2nd pizza was free because of a special deal. It was delivered very fast. They were underbaked.. still, we ate them with gusto, because we were hungry!

I ordered a double pepperoni picked up the pizza, friendly hardworking staff, the pizza tasted just like advertised.

Don't be fooled by this scam. Not papa johns for sure. Ordered almost 50€ in pizza, worst quality. The ingrendients tasted really bad, we didnt even ate it. There was no sauce and the boxes were just regular off brand boxes. Called the restaurant and the answer was "next time don’t order from us". Just terrible.

No te dejes engañar por esta estafa. No papá Johns seguro. Pedido casi 50 € en pizza, la peor calidad. Los indigentes sabían muy mal, ni siquiera lo comimos. I’ve been charged twice for a large order they said they would refund and after trying for weeks to contact them I still haven’t heard anything and haven’t received a refund. I hope this review will have them check my complaint otherwise we will never order there again, simply because of bad customer service.

The pizzas were rather thinly topped. Especially for the price. Spaghetti Carbonara was inedible because there was an incredible amount of pepper on it. Since we took the food with us, a complaint was not possible.

Bro we ordered our pizzas an hour ago and they never arrived, we called the store we ordered it from and they declined our call. We called another store in the area and told them about what happened and they hung up on us mid conversation.

Orderd pizza here cause I love papa John’s pizza but the restaurant delivers food more than a hour later it was cold and the pizza was dry there was no cheese on it and the garlic cheese sticks the same no cheese really dry this is very disappointing I called for them to come back for it but they delivered it past opening hours! If u ask for delivery, be ready to be lied to. It states that it can take up a maximum of 45 minutes. However, it easily exceeds that amount by far. Taking more than 1 hour and 20 minutes. For further proof, it isn't the first time that it happens to me. I've ordered several times at different hours and it is always the same story. The food is good in itself but it has a very poor service that leaves a lot to wish.

Pizzas here are pricey compared to well garnished pizzas you find in a restaurant.

Ordered from deliveroo but clicked pickup instead of delivery accidentlally. Got a call and they offered to deliver it and sorted it out quickly. Thanks guys Second time ordering so two stars we are still waiting for a pizza. Thuisbezorg said it would be delivered in 15 to 25 mins we are now two hours later. Sorry guys for the review you gotta fix this though. Happy to change the review if you can sort this out

Ordered pizza. Indicate in advance in the order to remove the BBQ sauce and bacon. We pick up the pizza and guess what, BBQ sauce and bacon. We called and we were able to pick up a new pizza (without BBQ and bacon), we arrived and there was ham on it! Those guys really don't understand if you don't eat bacon then you don't eat ham either! All in all, a simple pizza order took more than an hour and a half before we could eat a slice.

Ordered two Pizzas from Papa John. Sharoma pizza with 3 pieces of meat on it. No garlic in sight. We've gone way behind. Nobody speaks Dutch in the store. Last time we order here!

If an Italian sees the state of the pizzas, I promise you they will file a complaint. Dry pizza even frozen ones are better

Goede pizza die niet zo olieachtig is. De bodem/korst is erg dik wat kan zorgen dat je pizza af en toe droog kan smaken. Wanneer je Papa John's vergelijkt met andere pizzaketens is de keuze beperkt. Toch is het aanbod veelzijdig en zijn er goede opties voor iedereen.

Essen war gut. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Nur die Tische könnten sauberer sein.

Puike tent, gezellige werknemers, snel bezorgd, vooral de chicken bbq is erg aan te raden. Ook de sfeer binnen is gezellig, de uitheemse muziek waar de medewerkers vrolijk op de dansen is van een bedenkelijk niveau. Al met al, een fantastische toko!

Also der Laden ansich ist von aussen und innen eher die Klassische "Lieferservice" Lokalität.......Aaaaaber das Essen schmeckt dort echt richtig gut,die Auswahl ist recht moderat und auch für Veganer wird ne Menge angeboten.Also Wer in Scheveningen/Den Haag nen Laden sucht für gutes Fast Food wird dort auf jedenfall fündig👌💪......Die Preise sind normal gehalten und gehen definitiv klar👌👌 P.S. Die Zimtrollen da sind der Hammer👌👌
