The delivery never arrived. I want my money back. I have been trying to contact the restaurant for a long time, but no one is answering.

This place is a scam. I ordered through their website for the vegan pizza, I received my order 1h late, and it is not the right pizza I ordered. Ok communication from them. 0 way for me to contact them. It is a scam.

I ordered here from Uber Eats on a Monday afternoon. The pizza was supposed to be delivered in half an hour, but an hour and 30 minutes later, the pizza still wasn't there. So I called the shop. They told me the pizza would be there in 35 minutes, but an hour late, still no pizza. So I called the shop again. They said the delivery guy was on his way and would be there in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later, still no pizza. In the end, it never came. I stayed home the whole time, so it's impossible that I missed the delivery. I just don't understand why the employee would lie that the pizza is on its way. I waited three hours for a pizza that would never come.

Ordered from Papa John’s Westerpark and it was a complete mess. Order was over an hour late with zero confirmation email. Tried calling both customer service and the store multiple times. No answer, nothing. On top of that, the website had my address linked to the wrong zip code and there was no way to change it. So of course the driver went to the wrong place. After a bunch of calls and texts he eventually found us. He said it was his first day, which I honestly believe, so I don’t blame him. And then the final insult: the potato tots came without the ranch. Not ordering from here again.

Visited in store, ordered 2 pizzas and a side. Ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, instead got a pepperoni as they were ou of chicken, fine... Ordered potato wedges but got tater tots instead, fine... But for the second pizza I ordered a vegan cheese one for someone who is severely allergic to lactose, without any information, was given a regular cheese pizza. I was totally understanding of the chicken pizza and potato wedges issue. But once you deal with people's allergies its no simple mistake... It's not how you run a store and honeslty I am disappointed as I live close to the place and used to order here regularly

Extremely slow delivery and just slow People generally

I don't know what to make of this. But this is truly terrible. You should be ashamed. Undercooked, old meat? Which bacon? Where is the anchovy? Even in the city, the tourist pizzas are better than this junk.

Service is tooooooo slow, even if you go there. They have 5 people working there and one is eating, the other preparing boxes.. all while you wait for the pizza that they start preparing after 14 mins that you pay

Order took more than an hour to deliver , cold pizzas and incorrect order. DON'T ORDER HERE , even after trying multiple times to contact them via the provided link no even an apology or any attempt to rectify the issue.. totally ignored every complaint.

We had the Toy Story 5 Pizza and garlic cheese sticks; the dips were really delicious, nice and fresh, top-notch taste. The staff were super friendly; well worth going there. You can also eat inside, but we had a lovely meal sitting in the park, which is also highly recommended.

It took over two hours for my pizzas to arrive, and they were frozen, with hardly any toppings, and some toppings were stuck to the box. They charged us over €35 for two pizzas the size of my hand and a garlic sauce. Without a doubt, the worst place to eat in Amsterdam.

The most depressing experience of my entire life! Standing and waiting for 45 minutes for a lukewarm medium pizza the size of a rice cake—you’d think it would still be affordable, well, think again. 12.49 that I would rather have given to the local homeless person than to these amateurs. Also, it was warmer inside than the average sauna; air conditioning might be an investment before you get even more bad reviews.

placed an order and said it will be delivered in 30 mins but they didn’t show up even after 1.5 hr, I tried to call them a million times, nobody picked up my call. In the end I had no choice but going to their store in person and they were soooo rude!?!? They refused to give explanation and basically ignored me. Don’t order from this shop, only if you want to order a “delivery” and have to pick up your pizza 2 hours later…

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering at the Papa John official website. Order placed at 19:48. Online update tracker tells me a little past 8 that expected delivery time is 20:08. By 20:40 I try to reach the shop, it automatically goes to voicemail, and there's no alternative to teach the shop on the Papa John's website (papajohns.co.nl). Finally at 21:00 (1:10 hours since ordering, 50 minutes after the order should have been delivered) I gave up and ordered at Domino's. They delivered within 20 minutes, by 21:30 we had our food. Then at 21:50 the doorbell rings. There's a delivery guy with our order, God knows in what state. I refused it, made clear to the delivery driver I'll be demanding a refund as well as submitting a complaint to the Dutch ACM (consumer care association). Worst thing is the poor delivery guy looked like this wasn't the first time he had handle an angry customer.

Bad place. Not on time and wrong pizza. They hang up the phone and refuse to help. Normal papa johns is ok. Overtoom is ok. Here they are terrible and make mistakes and almost always late

My order was over 30min late and every time I tried to call it went straight to voicemail. I ended up walking to the store and they just said sorry it’s been delivered, no attempt to provide any type of customer service. I’ll never order here again.

How does it take 40 minutes to make 2 small pizzas when there are only 2 customers? It's not normal that I have to wait this long for a pizza. I could have traveled all the way to Italy and gotten a pizza there. This is really bad!!

Have ordered from this PapaJohns twice and both times are pizza did not show up. The first time we ordered it at 10.30 and the guy tried to deliver it at 2am in the morning. And the second time it just didn't turn up. And went into the restaurant to ask for my money back or another pizza and they said I need to contact the manager and they cant help. And they had no contact number for the manager and apparently he is only in at 6pm which is inconvenient for my work hours so how do I get my money back. WORST SERVICE EVER!

This guy tries to ask €2 extra for sauce on a 18€ pizza. No respect. After puting him in his place, we got the sauce free. Dont act like this please. Pizza was hot, very nice.

Similar to other's below: never received any food. The restaurant claims it's unable to issue refunds and points to customer service, but there is no phone number and they ignore any emails regarding refunds to papa@papajohns.co.nl.

You really need some talent to mess up an order this bad. After waiting for 1h30, we receive our pizzas and nothing was as what we ordered: we asked for thin crust and they were just regular basis. We had one vegetarian so we customized one pizza to have no meat and we paid for adding mushrooms, but of course the pizza did have meat and no mushrooms. We tried to call them and the number is disconnected, so no chance to get money back or fix the order. Probably the worst food delivery experience I've ever had. Never ordering from them again

They always forget something from my order and when you call them. The person who answers the call in english is too difficult to understand because of his thick accent. Also the double pepperoni is more a single pepperoni as you get les of it as a topping. The tatertots and wedges looks like they just defrosted them because they always looks soggy and undercooked

Dough delicious, sauce too sweet for my taste

I ordered on Uber Eats where they have their own delivery driver. Unfortunately the delivery driver called me to come out of the building despite policy being that they are required to come to your door. I told him to ring the bell so I can open the main building entrance and he said ok. After 10 minutes I called him again to ask where he was but his English was quite broken. I called the store manager who spoke to him and told me that he would be with me shortly. Long story short he delivery guy never showed up and the store manager himself was kind enough to cook the two pizzas I ordered and come deliver to my front door. This part I really appreciated but my order came a bit after 2 hours from putting in the order. In my opinion the store manager really needs to fire the delivery driver because from other reviews it seems that he will not deliver to your door or sometimes even pretend to deliver.

I place a order from papa johns for delivery but delivery person refuse to come to my door step and when i ask for to come at my door step they abuse with me and cut my phone and said please come at the main gate because i have one more order and I don’t have time but my right and the policy is that he has to be come on my location where i pin so I request to everyone don’t go there because the people are very rude and abuse you Thank you

Super bad delivery experience. We ordered 2 ‘The Works’ pizza and we got the wrong order after long wait. They delivered 2 pepperoni pizzas. Their solution? Pick up the 2 pizzas and give money back 😂. Do not order from here. How difficult can it be to deliver the right type of pizza?

I’ve been to various Papa Johns through out the world, but this unit was without a doubt the best in service! Mohamed’s attention and kindness is not common in service nowadays and is worth choosing this papa johns unit in amsterdam.

As they use their own delivery system, it is not trackable and when we called them to see where the delivery is, we learned that they haven’t even started preparing.

I feel like this location's score is unfairly low on Google. So, I wanted to take the time to review them, as someone who orders from them consistently. Everytime I place an order via their website the order gets delivered in less than 30 minutes and the pizza is hot and fresh. The taste is also your typical Papa Johns taste so no surprises there either. To be honest, it's far superior than that cardboard of a pizza that they make at so called "New York Pizza". And they never messed up my order instructions at this location even once and like I mentioned above I order from them regularly. Keep up the good work!

Yesterday I ordered pizza, first it was super cold , second there was a hair inside the pizza, plus the chicken smells not good 😐 unfortunately it was very bad option,I'll not do it again. I'm super disappointed.

If I could give 0 stars I would, as that's what they deserve. Do not order from here if you don't want to lose your money, with nothing in return. I placed an order via their website on 2nd December. They phoned me to say they didn't have anything I ordered in stock (I ordered 2 vegan pizzas, for which they tried to offer me a substitute of real chicken!). The only other option was to cancel the order, which I did. They said it could take up to two weeks to receive a refund (already pretty poor), but I didn't have another option so I said that was ok. It has now been almost 5 WEEKS and I still haven't got my money back. Their contact/customer service is basically non-existent. I have tried contacting them multiple times by email, their website contact form, Instagram & Twitter (as their website recommends) and haven't received ANY reply. Absolutely unacceptable.
