Busy but enough space both inside and outside. Food and drinks were fine.

Never again. Having to order yourself in a restaurant is one thing. But having to bring your own drinks to the table, like in a fast-food joint, is downright outrageous, especially considering the exorbitant prices. I expect friendliness from a restaurant – which is sadly lacking here. Then there's the food. Bad, worse, worst. If you order plaice, don't expect plaice; you'll get battered fish. The schnitzel is dry and tough. The fries on the side are practically useless, and if you expect it to arrive hot – forget it! No thanks, this was an absolute disaster. For the price, it's downright rude.

Tasty and real food on the beach

The schnitzel was tasty. The portions of fries were very small. The tables are dirty and I asked them to wipe them down first. Friendly service.

We had a wonderful meal at Paviljoen Noordzee! We were here with my wife and our two children and enjoyed a fantastic evening on the terrace. The children both had a kids' menu and my wife chose the kibbeling — generous portions, deliciously fresh, and very flavorful. I had a small pot of mussels, prawns, onion, and bacon bits: a truly outstanding dish! It might have looked small, but it was more than enough and incredibly tasty. To finish, we enjoyed a delicious apple strudel with ice cream and a coffee with a kick. Thank you for the delicious dishes and the lovely evening. We will definitely be back and can absolutely recommend this place!

I waited a goddamn 1 hour and 30 minutes for my food to arrive, and the worst part is, it was inedible.

They make you wait an hour and the food was cold and inedible.

Delicious ribs, the meat melts. A beautiful spot on Ijmuiden's beach, I highly recommend it.

As a guest at a 75th birthday party, I enjoyed the cold buffet and snacks. Friendly service by a young man in a cap who knows his stuff: fast, clear, friendly, with a feel for the customers and a sense of humor... he really enjoys working there... Nice place with a cozy atmosphere and easy to reach (near a bus stop and a spacious parking lot for cars). Visit a great website for info.

Simply a wonderful beach pavilion, both summer and winter. Good food and a variety of beers on tap. I got married at Noordzee 13 years ago today. Back again for a delicious dinner. If you've been coming here for 50 years, if you spent your youth here, then you'll love coming here. And that's what I want to share with others. If you're ever on IJmuiden beach, just pop in.

The best kibbhi I've had in the Netherlands so far. They weren't any more expensive than anywhere else, which is quite remarkable for a restaurant right on the beach with such a wonderful view. It's self-service, but the food is brought to your table and the staff is friendly.

The service and atmosphere were really nice, but unfortunately my schnitzel tasted extremely fishy, ​​probably because it was fried in the same fryer. The baked Camembert was the kind you can buy in any supermarket, and at €20 it was a bit pricey.

Cozy beach pavilion, small menu, polite service, dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome. The fries were excellent, the schnitzel was decent, but the vegetables were unfortunately too cold and served on the plate. The food was served very quickly after ordering; it almost felt like it was already ready. Reasonably priced, it really wasn't too expensive for what you got.

When we asked where we could sit comfortably with children, we were directed to a seating area by the wood stove at the very back of the restaurant. The service was very friendly, and the food was served quickly and delicious. And because we were sitting so comfortably, we felt completely relaxed and warmed by the stove.

If you're looking for a relaxed meal, Noordzee is the place to be. It's also ideal for private parties and large groups. We've had experience with everything. The menu is excellent, and you certainly won't go home hungry.

Anything we order here was surprisingly good quality, fast service, good prices. And we eat a few times. Ijmuiden Strand is the place to be if u wanna see the Noordzee, i pay €15 for full day parking, in Scheveningen was €39,50 and i get a really bad kibbeling. In Paviljonen the kibbeling was fabulous, schnitzel's too. Thanks you guys!

We have to wait extra 15 min because people from servis are from Poland, meanwhile when we were waiting for food came polish people and they gave them food that was prepared for us and they prioritize them. Such a disrespect!

We wanted to visit all the beach restaurants during our vacation, so we came here this evening. It was quiet except for two or three other tables occupied by people having drinks. We had already checked the menu on their website, which is also available in German, which was a plus. Having also seen photos and read positive reviews, we were feeling optimistic. The price was similar to the other restaurants on the beach. The schnitzel didn't match the pictures we'd seen from other guests; in our case, it was frozen. There was a hair in the mayonnaise. After we pointed this out, the waiter offered a brief apology, but since we had already paid for everything, there was, of course, no attempt at compensation. The plates were cleared even though our youngest was still eating. As is often the case with children, we had no other place to put the leftovers than the ketchup bowl, which thankfully we still had. Since there were no other guests in sight, we didn't understand the rush to clear the table.

I don't call this a restaurant; it looks terrible, you have to order inside, your food is cold and just plain disgusting. I would rather go to McDonald's.

A very nice restaurant right on the beach. The food was very good and served quickly. (We went during the week, not on a weekend.) The only downside was the loud music inside, making it impossible to have a quiet conversation. The menu was clear and the prices were reasonable. The best kibbeling I've had in the Netherlands. Great service! I ordered the mussels and, because we were eating outside, paid for them, but they were gone. They went to the neighbors and were able to serve me another pan. They were delicious. I ate them again the next day, but this time with the chicken satay. Everything that came looked delicious. We'll be back soon.

A really cozy, busy beach bar. Many different beers on tap. A good, extensive menu and helpful staff. However, there is no table service outside the terrace. But it is clearly indicated with signs to order inside.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant we tried on the beach in IJmuiden. Even though it looks a bit dated from the outside, the food selection is perfectly fine. They also serve kibbeling (battered and fried fish), and unlike the restaurants right next door, the prices are reasonable. It's important to know that you order and pay at the bar inside, using your table number. We found this much more convenient than constantly waiting for a waiter or waitress and potentially getting annoyed. At least, that was the case in June.

The beach of IJmuiden is beautiful and wide. After a visit to the beach edge with dog we walk back to Paviljoen Noordzee. Cappuccino, beer and water contribute to a good end of this afternoon.

Last night I took part in a canicross competition. The organization was allowed to use the location. Pavilion looked attractive. We ordered a plate of kibbeling with fries twice. These tasted delicious, compliment to the chef. Delicious beer, what more could you want?

Nice but... parking for an afternoon for 14 euros is not an advertisement for this area.

Good afternoon, reviews can be interesting & educational, but sometimes quite nonsense & not based on content, such as that of a certain Rico. Come and play for a few hours, including during rush hour, in a different tent, and then we'll continue talking. If you can hold on for an hour... Several companies have been short of staff for some time now and (sometimes) they have to call in staff because we are used to and really want to get the food warm and hot and to the right table on time. Have you ever thought about the guests who (unconsciously) stand in the busy walking route and spend 90 percent of the time on their cell phones? In short, they sometimes don't hear things. John, you understand me? ... wow .. and I can name a few more things. Furthermore, often nice guests who understand better and have more respect.

Really a beach bar, not quite...

We arrived here at half past twelve. There was no way to say hello... You have to order and pick up drinks yourself. Definition of food/drink becomes more expensive, service becomes less. Orange juice €4.90... Food will be delivered to the table. Bouncer was fine. Wonderfully made and nothing wrong with it. The first and the last time for us.

Good food, beach prices of course, the place itself is run down, rarely smelling such a piss smell in a men's toilet (think 1980s French gas station).

Together with my friends we have been coming here for every week during summer for fishes, although we have tried cod in many places, we have never liked it as much as in this restaurant! Taste and atmosphere 10/10. Unfortunately, I rate it 9/10 overall because once we were a bit disappointed because the staff refused to take our order due to the high busy, but it is still worth going here!

Took 50 minutes to receive the food from order. Fried fish was mushy. Omelette was ok, Schitznel was good. Fairly expensive, not great value.

The food is often okay, but often lukewarm fries and side dishes, and I was the only one still waiting for his food while everyone else already had their food. I think there are far too few men. Staff often overworked and stressed. Especially a bald guy with a nose piercing. As he walked past me, he pushed me on the shoulder and shouted 'staff'. If you have your hands full, okay. But otherwise, I still think the guest has priority. You should throw this guy out, he apparently can't handle the job

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday here and I had an unforgettable beautiful day thanks to the top location, excellent service, very friendly staff and a delicious & well-organized lunch buffet. Highly recommended for parties and celebrations!

It is not allowed to eat restaurant food! Then I had to cook at home. Very little food, vegetables from the water, fries, a very small bowl and a decent sole, but that's only 4 snacks. Just ice cream for dessert, not worth the calories! You expect fresh food prepared with passion and love in a restaurant. Price quality seriously insufficient and would not recommend it to anyone. Unless you want to eat kibbeling with fries. So basically a glorified snack bar with restaurant prices. Never write reviews but if I can save other people from being so disappointed then I will.

Very good food and very well located

Ate with 5 people Dirty tables upon arrival I think ordering food and drinks inside is strange anyway. Ordered food (for & main), had to bring drinks (what could go wrong here) Had to wait almost an hour for the food then everything came at once, there was no option to eat the starter first and then get the main, so I had to have everything at once. “Everything” was put on the table and it turned out that 2 dishes were missing, so we had to wait for them again. Then price quality: a lot of money for a dirty fried schnitzel Fries were Lukewarm The only thing that was fine were the mussels. My advice don't come!

The service was not ok... place your order inside... it was brought to your table... the drinks were not... so I walked in with a tray of beer and 3 wines... lucked out! The table next to us wasn't...the tray was slightly crooked...and all the drinks were all over the table...so sad! The toilet wasn't clean either...the food was delicious!

We only ate ice cream. The ice had crystallized. So the quality is not good. And why do so many restaurants have aerosol whipped cream. That's really not possible. Unfortunately, they are not the only ones. When it was put on the table it was already mud.
