The beach of IJmuiden is beautiful and wide. After a visit to the beach edge with dog we walk back to Paviljoen Noordzee. Cappuccino, beer and water contribute to a good end of this afternoon.

Great business, fish in particular are very popular. There is also a separate takeaway for fish, snacks and drinks in front of the entrance...

Since the nice weather has arrived, I can be found there every day with my children And then there is always time for a delicious sandwich or fries with kibbeling I personally love the salmon sandwich with salad and onion with horseradish The fun and service are top notch🥰

Last night I took part in a canicross competition. The organization was allowed to use the location. Pavilion looked attractive. We ordered a plate of kibbeling with fries twice. These tasted delicious, compliment to the chef. Delicious beer, what more could you want?

Delicious schnitzels today and sitting comfortably again. == A side note for visitors to the North Sea on a 'busy summer beach day'. Think twice before ordering food here, there's a good chance it will go wrong.

Nice but... parking for an afternoon for 14 euros is not an advertisement for this area.

Good afternoon, reviews can be interesting & educational, but sometimes quite nonsense & not based on content, such as that of a certain Rico. Come and play for a few hours, including during rush hour, in a different tent, and then we'll continue talking. If you can hold on for an hour... Several companies have been short of staff for some time now and (sometimes) they have to call in staff because we are used to and really want to get the food warm and hot and to the right table on time. Have you ever thought about the guests who (unconsciously) stand in the busy walking route and spend 90 percent of the time on their cell phones? In short, they sometimes don't hear things. John, you understand me? ... wow .. and I can name a few more things. Furthermore, often nice guests who understand better and have more respect.

Really a beach bar, not quite...

We arrived here at half past twelve. There was no way to say hello... You have to order and pick up drinks yourself. Definition of food/drink becomes more expensive, service becomes less. Orange juice €4.90... Food will be delivered to the table. Bouncer was fine. Wonderfully made and nothing wrong with it. The first and the last time for us.

Good food, beach prices of course, the place itself is run down, rarely smelling such a piss smell in a men's toilet (think 1980s French gas station).

Together with my friends we have been coming here for every week during summer for fishes, although we have tried cod in many places, we have never liked it as much as in this restaurant! Taste and atmosphere 10/10. Unfortunately, I rate it 9/10 overall because once we were a bit disappointed because the staff refused to take our order due to the high busy, but it is still worth going here!

Took 50 minutes to receive the food from order. Fried fish was mushy. Omelette was ok, Schitznel was good. Fairly expensive, not great value.

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday here and I had an unforgettable beautiful day thanks to the top location, excellent service, very friendly staff and a delicious & well-organized lunch buffet. Highly recommended for parties and celebrations!

The food is often okay, but often lukewarm fries and side dishes, and I was the only one still waiting for his food while everyone else already had their food. I think there are far too few men. Staff often overworked and stressed. Especially a bald guy with a nose piercing. As he walked past me, he pushed me on the shoulder and shouted 'staff'. If you have your hands full, okay. But otherwise, I still think the guest has priority. You should throw this guy out, he apparently can't handle the job

Beautiful pavilion with a very nice location. Were there to drink cocktails. These were very tasty but expensive. Still a nice evening with delicious drinks. The fact that you could only order inside wasn't a problem for me personally

It is not allowed to eat restaurant food! Then I had to cook at home. Very little food, vegetables from the water, fries, a very small bowl and a decent sole, but that's only 4 snacks. Just ice cream for dessert, not worth the calories! You expect fresh food prepared with passion and love in a restaurant. Price quality seriously insufficient and would not recommend it to anyone. Unless you want to eat kibbeling with fries. So basically a glorified snack bar with restaurant prices. Never write reviews but if I can save other people from being so disappointed then I will.

I ordered a ham cheese sandwich and first got a tomato cheese, we went back and then I got a ham cheese sandwich with cream cheese which was cold. Bad service. Never come here again. Not recommended. Kitchen staff very unfriendly, don't come

Very good food and very well located

Ate with 5 people Dirty tables upon arrival I think ordering food and drinks inside is strange anyway. Ordered food (for & main), had to bring drinks (what could go wrong here) Had to wait almost an hour for the food then everything came at once, there was no option to eat the starter first and then get the main, so I had to have everything at once. “Everything” was put on the table and it turned out that 2 dishes were missing, so we had to wait for them again. Then price quality: a lot of money for a dirty fried schnitzel Fries were Lukewarm The only thing that was fine were the mussels. My advice don't come!

First the main course and then the starter, and then pick up the drinks yourself. What a ball tent.

The service was not ok... place your order inside... it was brought to your table... the drinks were not... so I walked in with a tray of beer and 3 wines... lucked out! The table next to us wasn't...the tray was slightly crooked...and all the drinks were all over the table...so sad! The toilet wasn't clean either...the food was delicious!

We only ate ice cream. The ice had crystallized. So the quality is not good. And why do so many restaurants have aerosol whipped cream. That's really not possible. Unfortunately, they are not the only ones. When it was put on the table it was already mud.

The food was good! Only waited 50 minutes for a simple tapas board because of the crowds... There was 1 lady continuously bringing all the food to the tables & cleaning everything up. Compliments to this female employee. Hearsay her name is (Ans)?! It's a shame it takes so long on a hot day!

We have been here several times and were satisfied, but today, July 18, 2024, we had to wait more than 50 minutes for our order, and we felt a bit strung along. I asked two people about our order, sir, with 5 minutes, after a 25 minute wait, after 40 minutes, we asked again with 10 minutes. You should know it is very busy. The food and drinks are fine, but this feels...

Typical Dutch North Sea flair Lots of beach and a little quieter than neighboring Zandvoort.

This is my favorite restaurant in the NL. The service is flawless and its right in front of the sun beds. Order the Kibbeling, so good!

Service was terribly slow. Waited an hour and a half for a piece of meat. Service was not friendly. Last time here. Shame

It's really nice to sit outside when the weather is nice and sit comfortably inside when the weather is bad.

The staff is extremely friendly, but the beach bar is very tired. The quality of the food (buffet) is not bad, but it is very ordinary. The service is excellent!!! But just like everything else, the toilet could use a makeover and more and better cleaning wouldn't hurt either (understatement!!). The road to it (along the back of the harbor) is quite depressing and then you arrive at a large parking lot that has been partly "taken over" by the windsurfers who clearly find all those other people a nuisance. But the restaurant can't do anything about that! All in all not a great success.

Relax and sit with a view of the beach and sea. You can order drinks and food inside. Food is brought to the table. Friendly staff.

disgusting. terrible. catastrophically bad. very bad attitude of staff towards visitors. I waited with my family for 15 minutes at the table and not a single waiter came up. then I waited at the bar for about 10 minutes. They served everyone except me. I wasted half an hour and no one paid attention to us (((( 19.05.2024

OK to fill up on the beach, but not a culinary revelation. The food was much better at the nearby Leonardo Hotel with an open kitchen.

On May 12, we had a nice meal there in the early evening. When ordering and paying, it was already stated that it would take a long time due to the crowds. We sat on the terrace and the crowds visibly decreased, but still no food. I waited a little longer until I was tired of waiting even longer after almost 45 minutes, so I went inside to get some advice. It was said that a large order was placed first and then ours, 3 people. That took a while and the terrace became quieter and still no food. Sure enough, after waiting 1 hour we got our food. I have once again stated that I fully understand that it is busy, but the terrace is virtually empty and I do not find this acceptable. He would pass it on. I have seen 1 waiter walking around and many cleaners. Order yourself and pay in advance. Something is going wrong somewhere in the management. Luckily the food was great!

The food was tasty, but €4.90 for orange juice is really outrageous.

It is inconspicuous, but located directly on the beach. Since you always had to dig deep into your pockets in the previous restaurants, the prices here were very moderate. And the quality is surprisingly good and really VERY tasty! Gladly again

We recently (Nov) had a family party here. We were warmly welcomed and were well looked after by the staff with drinks and snacks and then dinner. A good location for a cozy and casual get-together. So we were very satisfied!

Bester Kibbeling den ich je hatte!

Leuk paviljoen op kennemerstrand in IJmuiden. De sfeer is gezellig door de vele kitesurfers die hier langs komen voor een hapje en een drankje. Vanaf het terras heb je ook een goed uitzicht over het strand en de zee. Eten kun je aan de bar bestellen en word aan je tafel gebracht. De kibbeling smaakte uitstekend.

Hier geweest omdat we een uitje hadden met de brandweer Patat met kroket gegeten Simpel maar erg lekker en leuk opgediend met wat rauwkost erbij Gemoedelijke sfeer Leuk aan gekleed Vriendelijk personeel

Wij komen hier al jaren tot juni met onze teckel daarna zonder helaas hemelen. In de winter en tijdens de Corona tijd we moesten wel buiten staan maar dan nog perfect

Das war zum Essen unser bevorzugtes Lokal. Mitarbeiter super nett und freundlich. Essen war sehr lecker und die Portion recht groß

Nettes Personal. Der Pavillon zeigt allerdings viele Spuren seiner Zeit.

Alles wat je van een ouderwetse strandtent mag verwachten. Lekker ongedwongen sfeer, op het terras zelf je drankje moeten halen en een doorsnee menukaart. Maar is dat erg? Op een zonovergoten dag absoluut niet. Maar is het weer minder, dan is het de plek om een kop warme chocolademelk te halen en dan ergens anders wat te gaan eten.

Eten was prima, kibbeling was wel erg vettig. Maar wel lekker grote stukken. Ik ben het niet gewend zelf eten en drinken te bestellen bij de bar met je tafelnummer. Dit concept past niet zo bij mij. Als je dan drinken wilt, sta je in een flinke rij op drukke dagen.

Wir haben zu Abend hier gegessen. Super Portionen Es schmeckt super und man wird definitiv davon satt. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Aan de bar je eten bestellen en zelf drinken halen. Staat aangegeven dus geen probleem. Het "zitten" is heerlijk vooral bij prachtig weer. De bediening kwam het eten brengen binnen een normale tijd. Het eten was goed maar wel aan de prijs dus je moet meebetalen aan de NOW covid regeling. Niemand keek ons de deur uit dus blijven hangen is een optie. Kortom: we hadden niets te klagen.

Este lugar es encantador por su autenticida en la decoración playera, está en primera línea de playa, la comida es muy buena al estilo informal playero, las porciones son grandes y toda lo del mar esta fresco, la atención de las señoras mayores en la mesa es de lo más agradable, lo más cercano a sentirse en casa de un familiar, puedes hacer un desayuno delicioso también, la decoración es rústica adecuada a el ambiente playero. Hay terraza y parque infantil.🤍 Puedes pasar un dia de playa y sentirte en comodidad.
