Perzisch Restaurant Anahita in Hillegersberg-Schiebroek

The owner is not welcoming at all. We have been there several times, and each time he finds something to complain about❗️It feels completely unwelcoming. The taste of the food is average, and it’s different every time. I think it depends on the owner’s mood whether you get a good meal or not. But overall, it’s average—not bad! We’re not going back there anymore, not because of the food, but mainly because of the owner’s behavior.

I did thorough research online beforehand; it was supposed to be open today from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Yet, after 45 trips by public transport, we found ourselves standing in front of a dark, closed restaurant. Make sure your online information is accurate.

I have been living in the Netherlands for several years. I had the most delicious, high-quality Iranian food I have ever had outside of Iran at Anahina Restaurant. The service and atmosphere of this restaurant are a 20/20. Excellent management. Excellent hospitality and prices. Thank you, Mr. Manager 🙏🏻

The price matches the volume and it's good quality, just not consistent with the online service they provide. One day their off on UberEATS and Thuibezorgd, one day off on one, the other on another. You can't actually plan on getting food from them, best to imagine they don't have an online service.

We went here for dinner with our family and really enjoyed it! It's a small, cozy restaurant with a warm Iranian atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious—everything fresh and well-seasoned. The price is also very reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely recommended if you like Persian food (or want to try it sometime)!

Food taste is worth for the price. This is first time I'm eating that pink purple color thing. Not sure what it is but Mr.google said pickled cabbage. It was nice. The ice cream is definitely something different I tried. Taste good too. Prepare cash just in case payment machine not working.

It says it's open, but it's closed. We even made a reservation and received confirmation. Such a shame. The owner even sat outside smoking but didn't even bother to talk to her, just saying it was closed and that we were in the wrong place.

If you want really tasty kebab soltani and mahiche, definitely come here (extra large portions for men)!!

The restaurant wasn't open even though Google said it was. After reading reviews, this apparently happens frequently at this establishment.

Definitely don't recommend eating there!!!! If there was a single worst service to describe, it's Anahita's. The hostess seems forced to work, knows nothing about customer service, or even has heard of it, and the price for what you get is outrageous.

Friendly staff, over priced. There are limited tables, so reservation is recommended. Food is ok at most. a bowl of Baghalagatogh was served without egg, seemed like it was warmed multiple times and the chef claimed they are not allowed to use egg after confrontation.

Kebab torsh is my favorite at this amazing restaurant

Dear Mr. Reinier Coincidentally, I was also there two weeks ago on Saturday with my friends, we saw the merciless order of those two ladies who were eating at your place, and in the end they had taken it with them. We thought then a bill of more than 500 euros. So you are cheaper off. You were taken by those two ladies, not by a good restaurant like that. You would have read the menu in advance and you knew what you had ordered. Please do not spoil our only hope. Anahita Restaurant is the only good Iranian restaurant in Rotterdam and the only one we can eat Iranian menu in good quality.

Finally a good Iranian restaurant in Rotterdam. Also one that offers Kabab torsh and joojeh torsh that are well marinated and fried and do not taste like tough meat. The food was delicious. The owner took such good care of us and told us that she brought all the real Iranian stuff in the restaurant from Iran herself. It's so nice to sit in a restaurant where the food is delicious and you can feel the culture. I don't really understand where all those negative reviews come from, hence a positive review! Definitely worth trying. I normally find Iranian bastani to taste very fake, but here it tasted so fresh as if it came straight from Iran. Apparently the chef makes it all himself!

Last Saturday we ate here with 4 people. A soup as a starter 4 plates of rice and 2 plates of meat. We drank a few bottles of coke. We were there for about 30 minutes. The bill was 323€!!

I came here dreaming of juicy Persian kebab… but what I got was a piece of meat that could be used as a shoe sole. Oily? Yes. Tasty? Absolutely not. And €4 for a tiny soda? Did I just drink gold bubbles or what? My taste buds are still in recovery. If disappointment had a flavor, it would be from this restaurant. Not coming back unless I’m looking for a lesson in regret.

My kebab was not dry, but I think the meat was more suitable for a construction project than a meal. It was so tough I almost had to break it with a hammer. If you ever want a challenge to test your jaw muscles, this is the perfect dish for you. And at €4 for a small bottle of soft drink, I felt like I was in a five star hotel for a drink. All in all, it was an experience I won't soon forget, but I would rather forget it if it were possible. Maybe next time I'll try a rock, that would probably be easier to eat.🤣🤣👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻🤜🏼

He put food in my food inspite I Vegeterian food and didn’t refund

Unfortunately I ate here for the last time. Upon arrival it was cold in the restaurant and we received a chilly welcome. The plates and glasses had greasy stains and the meat was not tender or fresh, as we were used to before. In combination with the remote control, this is reason for us not to come back.

Rice was uncooked and saltless. Chicken was sour, koobide was dirty and hard and salad was old and spoiled. We had stomach aches all evening and night and felt nauseous after eating. A very small portion of spoiled salad shirazi costs €7 and it's really not worth it! In short, absolutely not recommended!

Never eat at this restaurant. The food arrived cold, greasy, tasteless and swimming in oil. You could taste that it was microwave food that was not heated up enough. After my complaint, the food went back to the kitchen and came back heated up. I also had to look for meat in the container. Almost no meat in the dish. And had to pay a lot of money for that. No atmosphere, worthless business with microwave heated food. Far from fresh, expensive and little food in relation to price ratio. The Commodities Act should go through this. Heating up food and serving it to your customers is not what you go to a restaurant for and it is also very unhealthy.

Restaurant Anahita was so cold that people sat with coats on. Even though we had booked in advance, they said we didn't have much choice. The quality of the food was low and the restaurant is expensive. We won't be coming back here again.

The price and quality ratio is hard to find. The starter was still promising, but the main course was not good. The service was mainly behind the counter busy on her phone, so there was actually no service available. I would therefore advise against this restaurant.

Anahita offers a wonderful experience for Persian cuisine lovers. The interior is attractive and the service is friendly and attentive. For the main course I chose the Chenjeh Kabab Torsh, marinated lamb kebab in a delicious herb and pomegranate sauce. The meat was tender and full of flavor, with a perfect combination of sweet and sour. The saffron rice and grilled tomatoes completed the dish. The value for money is good and I definitely recommend this restaurant for those who love Persian cuisine.

The best Persian restaurant I have been to so far! The waitress was really friendly but most of all the kebab and dough were the best I've ever had. The kebab was so fresh and juicy like nothing I've seen before and very well seasoned. It did not take long before everything was served. What I liked especially was the unique Iranian table ware which makes for a true Persian experience. We will definitely come back soon.

Ordered food via home delivery but what I found was disastrous. A piece of chicken leg, tasteless rice and burnt and empty zeresk. I paid the top price for this at 22 euros with also high delivery costs!! This was the first and last time

The quality of the food was awful, there was even hair in the food. We paid €80 for rice and kebab, we took it home and ate it. We threw it all away. It was not edible at all. I called Khati and said, "Why do you say your food is so bad? We test it ourselves before. They insult people's intelligence. Look at this picture. The kebab is not cooked at all." It was the dirtiest grill I have ever seen in my life 👎👎👎👎👎

The first time was a huge disappointment because of the disrespectful attitude of the owner towards Mr. Parviz Sayyad, who was in the Netherlands as a guest. He and his party were treated inappropriately, causing much inconvenience and annoyance. On my second visit, despite having booked in advance for 15 people, the attitude was again rude and aggressive. It is clear that the owner has difficulty with crowds and cannot handle a large number of customers. This will be the last time I come here, and I don't recommend anyone to visit this place.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times—four times, to be exact—and every visit has been a different experience. The service and food quality seem to depend entirely on the owner’s mood. When things are calm, you might get a nice meal with a smile. But when it’s busy and they aren’t expecting many customers, they become overwhelmed, and the service suffers. The last two times I visited, the restaurant was crowded, and the owner panicked. He started complaining about the number of guests and couldn’t provide proper service. When he’s stressed, the food quality declines, and the staff doesn’t treat customers well. Our last visit was a complete disaster. We had a reservation for 16 people, and they confirmed it in advance. However, when we arrived, their attitude was so unwelcoming that we were essentially forced to leave. We won’t be returning.

But I ate one of the best meals of my life at the Anahita restaurant in Rotterdam. I had a lot of fun with the very experienced and respectable management, staff and cook. The high quality and reasonable price attracted me. I won't go anywhere else but Anahita. I will give you a tip and advice. Do not look at this restaurant from the outside. It is small but very valuable and warm. Just visit once and eat there, I promise you will get salty. I smelled my mother's cooking there. It's like I'm in Gilani Mazandaran with my family. It was super bad. Photos show that you get salad with koobideh. We got nothing at all. When my mother asked for red onion he brought a frozen onion to the table. The welcome at the beginning was a bit rough . He asked us: have you made a reservation? Our answer was no, because it was not in our planning and he immediately said that the ATM is broken and if we pay in cash we are welcome 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't know if making a reservation has anything to do with a broken ATM and paying in cash and eating there. But hey. We felt like eating kabab. We ran to the supermarket to withdraw cash. the taste of the food was delicious 👍🏻 But … But I think the quantity of the rice and tomato could be more for what you pay . Picked up dinner last night for 4 p.m. 2 koobideh and 2 soltani. Kabab barg was very bad, very tough and stiff meat and the koobideh was elastic!!!😂😂 Very strange you would think, but it was true. Never again Anahita!!!!!

Very nice and cozy place, really delicious Persian food, I had Soltani which was juicy and very delicious. The “zeitoon Parvardeh” was also super good and well prepared however I would not recommend the “Kashk-e- bademjoon” it was not the best one you can have. Overall very good and happy with the food.

Very friendly welcome and useful advice. Ordered 4 different dishes and shared them among ourselves. Delicious lamb chops, minced lamb and super tender chicken dishes, all in “Persian style”. Will definitely come back again!

Good restaurant for a small cozy place. As long as you don't expect any fancy treat you be ok. Food is quite tasty and nice owner. They should get an iranian waitress or a waitress who atleast is familiar to the menu as she was struggling to take our order.

The food was good, however when it was time to pay they asked for cash, otherwise they charge two euros extra for paying with a card, which is the first time I have come across something like this.

Quite traditional food. However, when ordering half of the starters was not available (he mentioned after we ordered) and also no fish. For dessert they're was only ice cream. Starters were nice. Aubergine dish was very good, lentil soup was okay. There is no vegetarian main dish do ordered some side dishes. The meat according to my friend was quite good but not great. Tzaziki was nice. Skip the coffee, quality is not good. Owner is nice. All in all nice to have tried, but probably won't come back since I liked only part of the dishes. Very kitsch environment, with flickering coloured lights and a lot of ornaments, but that kind of fits this type of restaurant.
