Pad thai very good and very seasoned (even too much, the taste of the sweet/spicy cream was predominant). Noodle soup tells me it's good, be careful it has coriander and tastes a lot like that. The tables turn quickly, it's worth waiting a moment. Recommended, generous portions, prices for main courses €15/20.

The price is reasonable because it's in a big city location. The auntie who owns the shop and the waiter, P'Kook, are all cute. The kitchen is an open kitchen. There may be a smell stuck in your head. Put on some shirts.

Be careful eating here. I had the coconut soup and something like "raam naag" — basically noodles with gravy. The soup was alright, but the noodles were immediately suspicious. Right after eating, I went to pay, walked out, and literally had to rush to the toilet mid-walk. That was just the start. It’s now been four days and I still have stomach cramps, nausea, and an upset stomach that won’t go away. Something was seriously off. I don’t know if it was hygiene, ingredients, or something else, but I wouldn’t risk it again. Just a heads-up if you're thinking of eating here — proceed with caution. I usually rarely give bad reviews.

Delicious chicken phad thai. I have been craving pad thai for weeks, and this place did not disappoint. I almost wish I took tom yum or massaman curry for takeout to enjoy at home. Will be back soon!

Consistently excellent food! But guys, please fix your Thuisbezorgd listing - it requires plastic utensils but at the same time says it's unavailable, which makes it impossible to order. I will never order from Uber Eats again because they add 10-15eu to every order.

One of the most authentic Thai restaurant in Amsterdam city center with a great variety of dishes. They don’t take reservations, so be aware around dinner time it gets veryyy busy where you’d have to wait outside between 30min-1 hr for a table. But once inside the food is quickly served within 10-20min. Absolutely recommendable ⭐️

Finally found authentic Thai food in Amsterdam :)

We had lunch here and the taste of the food was very tasty, but for 19 euros we expected a slightly larger portion. The portion of the Stir Fried Wok with beef was barely larger than an entree. The Plaa chu chi (fish dish) was also just a lunch. Furthermore, the service was excellent and fast.

The food was not fresh. I had Pad Thai and the chicken was made the day before, and you can taste that is has been sitting on the fridge overnight. I won’t come here again.

10/10!!!! I already heard abt this place from my Thai friends for ages and since the first time I went it’s become my favourite restaurant in Amsterdam when you’re looking for a good, authentic meal. I go here religiously with my sister or boyfriend and can’t get enough of it. I recommend the stir fried morning glory with beef, Nam tok, and the phad sie-eiew of course.

Small restaurant with amazing food!

I’ve been this restaurant many times. But last time -on 29 December 2024- Their management about the queues are really bad. I talked with the waiter when I arrived here already that we come for two people. But the waitress asked another customers to come inside first. The waitress not accepted that she did something wrong. Just saying with me because you not tell me when you come here and her colleague not tell her as well. But when she go outside for asking which customers who come first. Me and another customers said ‘We come first’ so she knew already that we come first but just ignoring us. Another things is they selling the drinks that expired around 2 months ago for customers. (We went to the restaurant on 29 Dec 2024 but it expired on October 2024) The owner said with us that this is not her fault. It’s the company’s fault that sent the drink to her. To be honest, I felt very bad with her answer. She is the owner and open this restaurant for many years. She and her employees should check the dated when it expired with the drinks and every foods in the restaurant. If the drinks that she selling is expired and she not even care. So there is a lot of high chance that the ingredients in the foods, some of them are expired as well. Cause the owner doesn’t care about this. I really want Dutch government check the quality her restaurant soon. We are so disappointed. So I changed the review to 5 stars to 1 stars. I hope the owner will improve about this. I knew they have high ego cause they even not say sorry with us but I don’t want other customers feel really bad like me.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately the service left much to be desired. We had already waited for more than 15 minutes, while people who were in line after us suddenly got a table. When we asked the staff how this was possible, we were told that it was our own fault because we supposedly didn't indicate that we were first, while they previously explicitly asked who came first. Then we were also dismissed as spoiled. That was a very disappointing experience.

It's very delicious. I've eaten it many times. Everything is delicious. Spicy beef tendon soup is the best. Papaya salad with crab and fermented fish is very good because it's pickled crab. I like it here. Sweet Thai tea according to tea standards in Thailand. If you don't eat sweets, you may have to wait a bit for it to melt. The employees are lovely and provide very good service :)

As a Thai person myself, I would definitely recommend this place for its strive for authenticity. It is so rare nowadays to find a Thai restaurant with authentic ingredients and service. The food is worth the price point. Would come here again if I visit Amsterdam again! ☺️

The flavors were bursting out in every bit of the food, had to wait for like 20 minutes to get seated as we went during a busy hour in the evening & we tried the soup with chicken & coconut milk & lemon / Thai green shrimp curry that was delicious & the chicken fried rice was phenomenal, they got couple of different sauces to serve your palate. 💯 enjoyed the food

We did take-out. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. We'll go here again the next time we're in Amsterdam! The only issue was that their online ordering does not accept credit cards - only debits from Netherlands bank accounts. But they accept credit cards inside the restaurant!

Used to be the most authentic and my favorite Thai restaurant in Amsterdam. Sadly this place has been going down in the last years, especially the last months. Quality of food is getting worse and worse. Never tastes the same each time I go. And service is just horrible. No queueing system so it goes hectic during peak hours. The female waitress has strong attitude, so if she forgets your cutlery, it’s your fault for making her walk twice.

Very bad experience because the staff working there called Mod. I was waiting in queue for quite long time and then she told me I could not have the food inside because I was alone. I said it was not fair but she just ignored me after then. I told her another girl who was alone already got seat who arrived after me. She said it was because she walked into restaurant and talked to staff. She already seen me waiting outside before which is very ridiculous and I dont think it makes any sense. But she kept ignored me and just told me to order food for take away. Improve your staff management. She apologized nothing to me so far. If you keep treating in this way I don’t think your restaurant will go on well, now it looks very busy though. It was my first time to put review on Google and first time to give such a bad review.

My friend and I had an awful dining experience at this restaurant. We saw mice crawling on the wall while we were eating, which was absolutely disgusting. The hygiene standards are clearly very poor. When we approached the owner to request compensation, they were extremely rude and dismissive, telling us we weren't welcome and shouldn't come back. With such terrible cleanliness and just average Thai food, I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. It's not worth the risk.

When I passed by and smelled the aroma, I discovered that it was a famous Thai food that many friends had mentioned, so I ate a whole chicken leg and still sat down. Food was delicious and service was OK, however the place is really cramped, and hygiene is questionable, the toilet is barely usable and the most annoying thing is that something that looked like vegetable oil dropped on my head and on my shirt from somewhere, possibly from the A/C that was located directly on top of me.

A very nice lady served us and explained to us what is best to eat with what. The place is small, but you can also take away food. Very good dishes. Red curry and soup with rice noodles, meat and meatballs (photo) were definitely the best.
