Piccolino Masada in Charlois

Piccolino is a modest but honest pizzeria. I tried it several times during my stay in Rotterdam, and I can say the pizza isn't bad. I should start by saying that we're talking about electric oven pizza, so forget about the finesse of a stone oven. There are other pizzerias in the city for that. But it does its job. The pizzas are very thin (which I don't mind), fragrant, and with decent toppings. The Italian vibe the place exudes is completely fake, but it's still a small, welcoming place to stop and feel (almost) at home.

Like omg, ordered lasagna...it wasn't freshly made, not a single piece of meat in sight...it had barely any flavor... Order: after an hour and a half, still not delivered, they said, "Sorry, didn't see it," we'll be back in 45 minutes 🙄🙄 Shameless mess there, just close!! The piccolino we knew is gone.

It said it would be delivered in 35 minutes. But they called for an hour and told me the order hadn't arrived, even though I'd already paid online. Then they said, "Oh yeah, look, the order's only been here for about 45 minutes, and it'll arrive." The lasagna was pure tomato puree, a layer of lasagna sheets, a layer of tomato puree, and then cheese on top, no meat, no flavor. The kapsalon was also inedible, dry fries, and the lettuce was already half-brown. It was absolutely not worth the wait.

If there is one thing I could change in my life with a magical time machine, it would be that I’ve eaten at this horrible place. The pizza was disgusting, covered with a salty liquid. This is not a restaurant but a dodgy gambling dungeon. Should be closed by the authorities.

pizza's zijn hier oke, niet veel bijzonders. Wel fijn dat ze als enige in de buurt tot laat open zijn en dit de enige plek is waar je om 2:00 's nachts nog wat te eten kan halen op Rotterdam zuid

Matig en ondermaats eten. Jammer.. Slordige uitstraling. Wat is het voor een eethuis? Turks of Italiaans? Het kende betere tijden.
