I've been coming here for years, and the food is always delicious. The onion sauce is excellent, and the shoarma with spaghetti is also delicious, my favorite, and still affordable.

During a visit to this shawarma restaurant, we decided to try a shawarma platter. When ordering, we asked if it was lamb, which was confirmed, but not very convincingly. While eating, we remained unsure: the meat tasted more like turkey or perhaps some other type of meat. The atmosphere in the restaurant also left much to be desired. It was very dark, and the presence of slot machines attracted a certain crowd, which detracted from the overall experience. Furthermore, we noticed the chef coughing a lot and a cat wandering around—not ideal conditions for a restaurant. The shawarma platter was decent at best, but the uncertainty about the meat and the uninviting atmosphere mean this isn't a place we'll be returning to anytime soon.

DE BESTE SHOARMA In Amsterdam Oost. Vriendelijke man die al jaren zijn bedrijfje draaiende houd. Altijd vriendlijl. On het weekend tot 3 uur open.

Na aanleiding van de goede reviews hier terecht gekomen. Een teleurstelling... Bestelling gedaan van een groot broodje kebab en een grote Durum kebab. Na het in het park uitgepakt te hebben, kwamen we er achter dat het broodje kebab een klein pita broodje met 6 grote stukken vlees en oude sla. De durum was met shoarma was ipv kebab. Jammer genoeg heb je dan al honger en geen zin meer om helemaal terug te lopen...

The best shaorma in Amsterdam East

Sinds de sluiting van Kervan op Dapperplein ben ik opzoek naar een waardige vervanger en die heb ik eindelijk gevonden. In tegenstelling tot de andere shoarmazaken in Oost, heeft deze zaak geen droge shoarma. De prijzen zijn normaal en hij heeft zelfgemaakte tomaat-uiensaus, dat heeft ook niet iedereen meer. De eigenaar zou zichzelf best wat meer op de kaart mogen zetten.
