We got there wandering in the city. Excellent fresh food and nicel vibe.

My husband and I showed up around 1:00, were greeted very kindly and sat at a table for 2. The service was been great, and it’s a very bright, friendly atmosphere. We started with two healthy juice drinks called energize (carrot, apple, lime, ginger) and I got a shot of ginger that was accompanied with an orange slice dipped in cinnamon. I ordered a Pitadillo (pita with fries in it) with falafel. Our server said it was very tasty with sweet potato fries- So that’s what I ordered. My husband also got a pitadillo with crispy chicken. There were so many flavors going on in both of our Pitadillos- wow!!!! We were very surprised and happy with how delicious everything was! Definitely recommend!!

I got a chicken pita. Sunday morning, the shop is too crowd for 1 single shopkeeper but he managed somehow. What a wonder worker. My order is a bit slow but poor guy, he probably needs a raise. Nice food, good presentation. A bit bland to my palate. Could return for the cozy atmosphere.

I had the tasting menu of 6 small pitas, so beautifully arranged, and they were all delicious. My top 3: 1 falafel, 2 shrimp, 3 sashimi! The falafel with hummus was especially mouthwatering! The texture and flavors combined were absolutely delicious 🙂‍↕️ The shaker was quite noisy, luckily I wasn't sitting next to it 😅

We waited half an hour for our order. Pulled beef hummus was okay. The coconut soup was too spicy, which wasn't indicated on the menu. We didn't eat it, and weren't offered anything else or a refund. It's a shame I won't be coming back. We were overcharged for coffee twice, and there's still a discussion about the change.

Delicious food and a diverse menu. We mentioned that someone had a peanut and tree nut allergy. The staff said these weren't in the dish, but there was still an allergic reaction because one of the dips contained walnuts. The annoying thing was that the staff (including the chef) wasn't aware of this. Thanks to medication, it fizzled out, but this is ultimately a life-threatening situation. Besides, this shouldn't be allowed.

Great place to eat with really tasty sandwiches, juices, and dishes at reasonable prices. Very friendly service. Highly recommended! Forget all the fast food places in the immediate area because this is 1000x better.

lovely ambiance, and the staff are very friendly. They noticed we had a Dutch menu and provided us with an English one instead. Chai Latte also comes in a variety of flavors. Tiger prawn salad with fries were delicious. Minor drawback was that I personally didn't like the pomegranate seeds in this dish. But I will definitely visit again.🙏🏻🫶🏻

We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Despite being busy, we were seated immediately and everyone was given the attention they needed. The service was excellent, and the restaurant looked neat and clean. Our order arrived quickly, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. We had American pancakes for the kids, which were delicious. We also ordered pita bread, which was also very good. The coffee was excellent and I definitely recommend it. The prices are very reasonable, and the value for money is outstanding. In short: highly recommended! I'll definitely be back.

Delicious pancakes, tasty smoothies and the pita was fantastic

When I saw the menu I thought it would be a modern take on Moroccan cuisine. However, when we actually tried the pitadillos it was a bit disappointing. There was a huge amount of salad and a few fries (my partner claims she only received two potato fries). The amount of spice is also clearly adjusted to the Dutch. The briwat was alright, although I needed the chili sauce to enjoy it.

Lovely little spot to have a quick bite or enjoy something on the go. After biking around most of the day exploring the city, we stopped in for a refresh and enjoyed some smoothies and some loaded fries which were WAY better than expected! The juices/smoothies were fresh pressed and the falafel loaded fries were incredibly tasty, bursting with flavours! The tzatziki, hummus and quickles (quick pickles) served on the fries were very delicious and really complimented the flavours of the falafel. I usually find falafel to be quite bland in flavour but these ones weren’t, tasting great on their own! Our snack gave us the pick-up we needed to keep going for the rest of the day and were very happy we stumbled across this place. Seating available inside and out. The staff working when we were there were polite and efficient.

Very nice and cozy place with very friendly crew. The menu is diverse and covers specialities from several continents. Price and quality ratio is reasonable. The music however is often loud and does not match its image. Still a very nice place to enjoy food & beverage in a short break or a small gathering with friends.

Pita Queen: incredible flavor, fresh ingredients and a perfect falafel!

Terrible: long wait, rotten products in the meal, eventually got money back, but not worth it. Exceptionally bad. We really need to check HACCP better.

Maybe you should mention on your site that you don’t accept visa and Mastercard so people won’t bother coming all the way to your shop. Furthermore the one euro charge for using the toilet is ridiculous not only in your place but everywhere

I am safa from France, I am 9 years old I ate here with my dad and my cousin. I loved this restaurant, very good. I had bbq chicken and my cousin had a good pancake. It made me feel very welcome, here I give it 10/10. Safa from France

Nice coffee. Horribly grumpy staff. Like: "what drink" then she/he comes up with "here" downs the coffee and away. Too bad because it is a nice place, but in my opinion it is not worth it with such staff. Tip for the owner/ersse crash course in customer friendliness. You will soon lose all your customers. There is already enough competition.

Good pitas but very long wait for 4 pitas takeaway. 40min. Plus we had specific special requests for 2 of the pitas which they acknowledged and still got wrong. By the time we realized it was too far to go back.

Good food, ready fairly quickly. It was super quiet. Fortunately, the clerk spoke Dutch (or was Dutch), which is not always guaranteed in Amsterdam. Atmosphere was good. I had the shrimp pitadillo. This was very tasty, but the large shrimp were all on top, so you didn't really have a shrimp pitadillo with the last bites.

We ordered takeaway lunch for the office for about 30 people, and it was 100% successful. Super tasty! Great service! Highly recommended place 👌

Decided to check out this place for lunch and was not disappointed. In fact, we decided to grab another meal from there later we enjoyed it so much. Ordered the pitadillo (BBQ chicken) and loaded fries (with duck) and two salads (quinoa with BBQ chicken and quinoa with duck). All four dishes tasted amazing, good portions and reasonable price. The only reason why I gave 4 stars for the service is because the second time, the gentleman serving us at the counter didn't seem to be a bit ... scattered. We ordered the matcha noodles with the duck, but he got the order incorrect and selected quinoa instead. Thankfully it still tasted great, and I would definitely recommend.

More than 45 minutes late with delivery, the entire order was cold, and the €4.50 fries weren't even included (they weren't edible after 45 minutes anyway). Definitely not recommended.

Worst experience ever at this tent. Waited more than an hour for the food (ordered via home delivery) and then it arrived completely cold. Also received the wrong item. So I ended up going to the store myself to find a rude guest who doesn't speak a word of Dutch and speaks very little English. Nothing was their fault. It was all due to the system and delivery person. No responsibility. No sorry. No customer friendliness. No compensation. I often understand many things, which is why I went there myself. But then to be yelled at to my face by an illegal guy. Horrible. Truly worthless. I didn't feel safe or welcome.

Always a pleasure. Nice and casual place with healthy green juice, tasty salad and fresh pita as well. My favorite combination: the smashed avocado pita (without feta to make it vegan) and the falafel and hummus salad (without tzatziki). Mix and match and you have best of both worlds! On Sunday they have extra terrace space and tables in the sun because the Dapper Market is taking up less space that day. Also decaf flat white with oat milk available. Everything I need.

Really very special. Ordered a few falafel balls for a 3-year-old child instead of a pita menu. Will you be charged for a full menu? And this is not mentioned first, but is the surprise at checkout. A boy who knows nothing serves to the best of his ability. Unfortunately not suitable at all. Ordered something spicy and got some kind of curry mayonnaise. Very disappointing

It's difficult to find the restraint when reviewing Pita Queen. Possibly one of the most exceptional Pita offerings in history, millions of people sadly have no idea what they are missing out on. When I finish a hard fought battle down at the tennis club I find my mouth watering and hankering for a feed. Where better than Pita Queen? The question is rhetorical. There are many superb value offerings (pulled beef, falafel, prawns etc) but the service takes it to another level scarcely imaginable by most restauranteurs. A 100/10, keep up the sensational work and best of luck with the Pita Queen expansion to a triumvirate of quality venues around Amsterdam.

Pita queen has tasty food for the day. Right on the Dappermarkt. There are nice people in the service. The latte is tasty and the atmosphere is good.

Were here on a Sunday. Staff in the kitchen did not want to help us because he was alone. Have left. Missed opportunity.

Really great food and lovely service. The waitstaff was patient and made everyone feel welcome. I had the spicy sashimi tuna salad with an herb couscous base which was delicious. It was clear that every ingredient in the dish had been carefully selected to make every bite unique and indulgent. The prices were also very agreeable so if you want value for your money then I couldn’t recommend this place more.

The duck pita is unreal!!! So tasty 😀 It was really busy when I went there and the waiters did their best. Can’t wait to go back.

Food tastes great here! The shrimp sandwich and the pulled chicken are especially delicious! The Chai Latte is delicious! In terms of hygiene it could be better, I ordered a shrimp pita sandwich here a while ago. Too bad the waitress first picked up the dirty glasses with her gloves and then went to make our sandwich. Recently visited Pitaqueen again! Unfortunately this time my food was made by someone who was outside smoking cigarettes at all times. Mister didn't necessarily look fresh! Didn't have gloves or apron on. Hopefully hands have been washed! The taste of the sandwiches was less!

Delicious healthy food. Juices are wonderfully fresh.

This cafe is well situated near the park and close to the market. Service was good with the waiters being quite friendly and nice. It was a nuisannce that they didn't accept normal visa cards. Thismeant cash was the only option. The food itself came out quick enough. However it was a little on the bland side and felt like it was missing something.

Sat in around noon for a later breakfast as the place offers. Have been there multiple times, usually food is nice and the brown haired server girl with glasses is really nice. This time, it was different. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take my order which I understand, it was quite busy. After waiting, I walk up to the counter and ask can I order here? The redhead girl goes: What do you want? French toast and the energize juice. Than this douchebag from next to her interrupts and almost yells at me sticking the menu in my face saying they don’t have that. I’m like it’s right there on the menu. I get ignored by him and the girl very rudely asks once again What do you want. I got pancakes. While serving, she just slammed the quite mediocre (was much better on previous visits) pancakes and juice on the table, no enjoy, no thank you, no smile. During the whole stay I felt very uncomfortable and that I did something wrong. They were the most hostile servers I have ever met. Usually don’t post reviews, but they really should not be working in the service industry. Go work in a factory with that attitude.

We had the pitta sampler where you get 6 little pitas that are all different. Very interesting mix and flavours, you get duck, chicken, falafel, shrimp, and tuna sashimi. All interesting flavours with a Lebanesie twist!

Almost the of half the menu was not available and the staff couldn't answer most of the questions. Further more the staff always forgets the orders. Idea for the future: give the staff a sheet of paper and a pen to write the orders down 😀 Kind regards from a waiter to the waiters.

I went for lunch with my daughter of 3 years old. She ordered a cheesecake, but the cheese had a bad taste, acid. I said that to the waiter, I didn’t want to make a case about it, I was really kind, but I asked when did they prepare the cake and I explained I tasted it and it was really not good. So we didn’t eat it (while we eat the other things ordered). The waiter apologised, she was evidently embarrassed. But she let me pay the cake. This is unacceptable. These people are shameless.
