Pizza Amore in Binnenstad

Pizza Amore leaves a special place in the heart of every university student in Middelburg. The food is always on point though a bit expensive at times. Comes out fast too, especially helpful after a long night out. I mainly appreciate that it is one of the few places in Middelburg open late at night. My one complaint is that some patrons can be very loud and rude. However, it is one of the closest food joints from the local bars so this makes sense.

Great, tasty food, but there were small pieces of stone in it. We couldn't finish it. Very bad.

I ordered sandwiches on the phone at 20:05 to pick them up at 20:25. Upon arrival, they said I was late and would arrive at 20:00. How is this possible if I called at 20:05? Subsequently, the sandwiches were already ready. On the way home, we saw that the sauce containers were open and everything was covered in sauce. At home, the sandwiches were lukewarm (a 5-minute drive). There was very little meat in them, and the accompanying lettuce, cucumber, and onion had brown spots on them, so they were stale. I hadn't been there for a while, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. This is not worth €10 per sandwich.

My very first review ever. I just had to share this because I wish I knew this myself. Because it is a totally uninviting, unfriendly, and unappetizing place. Upon entering, you are greeted by a huge crowd; you think the food here must be good, but I can tell you, that is a huge disappointment. Once it was my turn, I was ripped off for €10 for a Turkish pizza with chicken doner. After waiting for quite a while—understandable given the crowds—I asked about the status of my Turkish pizza. To which I received the answer that he had already given it to me. Only after insisting did I actually receive a Turkish pizza. You can see up close how they put it together. You get a warmed-up, ready-made base. They toss all the toppings on it within a maximum of 7 seconds. Then they “roll it up.” This is genuinely the most bizarre thing I have ever seen. They don't even make the minimal effort to roll it up so that all the toppings are inside. They wrap it in aluminum foil within 2 nanoseconds, paying absolutely 0.0% attention to the concept of a Turkish pizza. I have eaten this at a lot of places. But even the places where I argued at the counter gave me service that was 10 times tastier and friendlier. This place is an overloaded mess. I believe it once started out as a fine artisanal establishment. But there is no sign of that anymore. They are overloaded. And that is severely detrimental to the quality. With the knowledge I have now, while I sit here at the table looking at my rushed Turkish pizza, I would have preferred to go to bed hungry. I sincerely hope you rediscover your passion for food and create a product you are proud of. After all, you wouldn't serve this to any friend or family member. I wish you a pleasant evening.

Just ordered a kapsalon chicken döner. It arrived 20 minutes late, the fries were soggy, the lettuce was brown, and the chicken döner was burnt. This is the last time I am ordering this junk.

Ordered 2 pizzas from thuisbezorgd, paid 40 euros and half the ingredients were missing. Definitely won’t order again from there

Great snack bar! We bought both pizza and doner kebab here during our holiday and were really impressed with the quality. The doner kebab tastes almost as good as one you'd get in the Ruhr area, and that's the highest praise for us.

Really bad.. we ordered delivery.. got a cold pizza.. not lukewarm but just plain cold. Super stingy too with 7 pieces of pepperoni. Save yourself the trouble and buy your pizza somewhere else.

Ordered a small kapsalon; the döner was burnt and the fries were cold. The price was €10. Not recommended for after a night out, nor for dinner. Very poor value for money.

Ordered pizza and fries once. Had to pay €4.95 delivery costs and a minimum order price. Food is delivered cold to lukewarm. Had to order something extra for the minimum price. Added a container of cheese. It wasn't included. Just consider it a one-euro tip. Won't order here again.

It takes a ridiculously long time before you get your food.

Ordered for the second time: doner pizza, drinks, a sandwich, and fries. When it arrived, everything was cold again. The pizza was bland, and the crust was tough. They forgot the drinks, which happens. They came again, which was nice. They delivered the drinks and new food, but unfortunately, not much better. It's a shame, but we won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered food here last night and told them, "DO NOT RINGS!!!" A little later, a guy who doesn't speak Dutch comes and rings the doorbell very loudly. I confront him, and he yells, "NOT SAYING, NO SAYING!" He then walks away gesturing and cursing in another language. Our child was just asleep. Thank you, Pizza Amore! I'll never order from you again and will tell everyone how terrible your service is.

Pizza Amore is always great after a night out or if you've been sitting on a patio late into the city. Almost all the restaurants and pizzerias are closed by then, but thankfully, Pizza Amore is still open. This pizza always tastes good this late at night, although adding a little garlic to the pizza is a good way to enhance the flavor. During the day, the pizzas aren't as special or tasty. It's better to go to a real pizzeria. The service is fast, and they work hard. I always stop by when I'm out late in the city.

I ordered a super delicious Chicken Doner Pizza yesterday. It was really good with lots of doner on it.

Great place. Delicious pizza and free extra garlic sauce. Phil Collins playing in the background really made the evening complete. Too bad we didn't get a beer, but still, 5 stars.

Ordered from Amore for the second time this week. The pizza arrived late and cold... I just ordered a kapsalon doner and got stomach cramps immediately!!! The raw vegetables tasted like they'd been sitting out of the fridge for three days, the doner had a nasty aftertaste, and then there were four fried fries at the bottom that almost broke your teeth, not to mention the watery garlic sauce. I'll never order from here again!!!

Ordered a late-night pizza from the boat in the marina. 25 minutes later, they were at the harbor to deliver 👍. Well-topped pizza, certainly wasn't bad 💪

Always delicious food and fast service! The pizzas and kapsalon are delicious, and the fries and snacks are also very tasty! Takeout or delivery is always hassle-free. Highly recommended!

If you want to eat well, you have to come here! Are you depressed or thinking about ending your life? Come here and you'll wonder if it's possible to stay alive forever! You'll fall in love—maybe not for the weakest, but certainly for the generation with a hard stomach.

Food was way too late and really cold and tough

We ordered a spicy pizza and a pizza olivio. I made the spicy pizza myself, which also came with spicy sauce. And yes, I love spicy. I mixed the spicy sauce into the garlic sauce and dipped my Vulcano pizza in it. The pizza had little green devils on it that already sent a few drops of lava onto my head. I ended up eating the remaining green dumplings in the box. The next morning I usually drink coffee first, but this morning I had to go to the bathroom first. Just to be clear, we're at a campsite. I quickly realized this wasn't an ordinary session. The gnome with a lighter had also taken a seat in the pot, and the flame ignited. The tiles started to shake, and people knocked on the door three times to see if everything was alright. The volcano inversus caused quite a stir. I can safely say that all my internal congestion disappeared, and later that afternoon I was able to walk normally again. I would describe this pizza as an 18+ pizza and only give it to teenagers if they stubbornly say they like spicy food.

Always good, except once, but then I called and got a new one.

Waited over an hour and a half, then called several times to try to cancel the order. No one answers or calls back.

Placed an order yesterday, it was not delivered completely, we were missing a sandwich, after fifteen minutes the delivery person came for the 2nd time with the forgotten sandwich. This was inedible, the photo explains this.

The best restaurant for Turkish food in Middelburg. My favorite place for dining in or ordering online. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick; yes, the food is always good—their pizza and doner kebab dishes!

Had a delicious croquette sandwich with mayo (they had no mustard) but there was a hell of a session with king size, Mula b and mister fox (the zonamo) was mighty beautiful

I had to pay 16 euros for a salami pizza. I gave 20 euros and got 2 euros and 1 Turkish lira (3 cents) back. Worthless thing

Vega bucket is more expensive than all the individual items combined, and not even vegetarian. When we asked if the frikandel was vegetarian, we were told "No", after which it was grabbed from our bucket and eaten by the man behind the counter himself. 5 minutes later I received a new frikandel, but it was still not vegetarian....

The food was completely cold and the burger and bread were burnt and you had to bite into the cheese sticks hard and the cheese was inedible, the fries were cold and lacked sauce

Unfortunately the order was not delivered completely. A pizza was missing. After a telephone complaint, they promised to deliver the missing food. Unfortunately that didn't happen either. The food delivered was ok. Very unfortunate. There will be no further order.

Ordered pizzas, waited 1.5 hours, fine. When the delivery person was supposed to be there he called, but was not there. After calling back and forth 100 times, he still didn't understand. Then I drove to the pick-up location to get it myself. Don't recommend it.

I ordered. First my ice cream doesn't come, I call and am told it was on its way. Half an hour later still nothing. So I call again and am asked for all kinds of addresses, and then I am told that they are closed and I will not get my ice cream that I paid for. I am furious and want a response!

The gentleman says you sent it back, I say no, I have been calling DRM all the time, now he says no, you have sent it away, too bad for you, then he hangs up. Tried again. Never again now. Come on, make some kebabs. It's not that difficult after all. Fries were dry, kebab burnt and also very dry. Just really dishonorable!! My advice.. Better find another one.

wrong portion (so little that you can't even speak of a portion) of spare ribs delivered, the spare ribs were dry and burnt. Partly charred and had a taste like they came from a bucket of salt. home delivery and pizza amore refuse to solve it

Order arrived in a broken, crumpled bag, with the fries raw and full of fat (cold fryer or something). The pizza was cold and the döner cold and chewy, the milkshake was very watery and the basic vanilla tasted incredibly gross. I HAVE NEVER EAT SO BAD, literally had to throw everything away. 1 star is too high a rating for the service and quality.

Placed a large order at work via Thuisbezorgd, was cancelled, everything was re-entered, paid and was canceled again and now it is close to Thuisbezorgd to order, you are there at work in Vlissingen East without dinner with the team! Bad service!

Rarely have I eaten something so caustic. Simply disgusting. Dry meat....bread 🍞 is an indefinable papier-mâché. If you want to eat badly and expensively, you can puke for free afterwards.

Tricked with the price of a drink that is actually 1.95 (as stated on their website), they suddenly asked 3 euros each.

What a delicious pizza we had there, not normal and then you go from Limburg to Zeeland for a weekend and when you drive home you are served this just great !!!!!!!!!!

Delivery is always good, but for the third time I ordered a Turkish pizza with the adjustment without vegetables and for the third time it was delivered again very quickly. A mistake can happen once, but now the same mistake has happened 3 times in a row, which is quite a shame. Other than that I've never had any problems here, but this is very annoying

Delivery was way too early. We ordered pizza, doner sandwiches and fries. Unfortunately the food was lukewarm. Pizza was okay. Well basic. Doner okay. Fries were not normally salty. Fine for a quick bite, but there are better places in Middelburg...

Ordered pizza on a Sunday evening. There was a 30 minute wait time. We now have to wait 47 minutes. The pizza is also delivered cold. Really bad

Wet pizzas, fried chicken, nothing crispy anymore and cold... and drinks hot... better get Vlissingen out of your delivery area... also nothing is read because everything I didn't want on my pizza was just there... once and never again

11/27/2020. Ordered salmon dish with rice, pizza salami and croquette sandwich from menu. Indicated as quickly as possible, took about an hour and a half while they indicated 20 minutes. Once delivered, the pizza, salmon and croquette were ice cold, the rice from the salmon dish with rice was missing, sauce bags were broken in the bag, everything was covered in garlic, the croquette sandwich was half apart and the croquette was already half crushed.

Order timeline: 5:45 PM - order 6:30 PM - ETA (Not saved) 7:00 PM - called delivery man on his way 7:15 PM - delivery of pizza, burned black 7:20 PM - called for new pizza 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM - Called 5 times 9:07 PM - pizza delivery, obviously cold Final result: Headache & Hunger

Food is tasty if you pick it up there. The business is very new, neat and luxurious. Having it delivered is not so nice.

They have a menu hanging outside with prices that are not up to date, kassoufle 1.95 but now 2.50

Ordered food via home delivery around 6:45 pm. Delivery set to 'as soon as possible'. Didn't receive anything around 7:50 PM, so I called. We were told that the delivery person was on his way and would be there in a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later (around 8:10 PM) the dinner bell rang. Delivery person was very uncomfortable when I said I wanted my change. Chicken döner from the hair salon was burnt so I couldn't eat half of it. I am normally very satisfied with this case, but this time I was very disappointed.

Ordered pizzas tonight and went to pick them up. When I got there and mentioned that I would go on the bike, they decided to bring them to us, which was very sweet. Delicious pizzas, large and well filled, will order there again next time. Thank you gentlemen for the service
