We had pizzas delivered, but they were very soft and soggy. There was also a lot of oil. Because of that, the food wasn't enjoyable. It's a shame, as we really expected better.

Absolutely fantastic staff, food, ambience!!!The pizza chef even let our kid do his own mini pizza, which was the highlight of our evening. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Will definitely be returning there often.

Great experience yesterday evening. Long time I didn’t come here as my previous experience wasn’t great at all. Very happy with the taste. Just feel that prices are quite excessive… Pizzas quickly go to ~18-20€ and as flagged before in the comments, adding a topping makes it even more expensive. Something to consider? I always order here, but the pizza straight from the oven to your plate is a different experience altogether. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the new pizza chef, Mario, is a real asset. It's still by far the best pizza in Hilversum. P.S. Don't forget the homemade tiramisu.

We had delicious pizzas for a good price. Wine by the glass, however, was relatively expensive.

Ok that the prices are higher than normal since the pizza is good. However a 3.90€ add on for just ham is not acceptable. Margherita is 13.95, the capricciosa which has ham mushrooms and artichokes is 17.95. I ask for a margherita with ham and get charged 17.9…

Pizza is very nice but if you go to the restaurant. We ordered via delivery and it’s not the same (long waiting time, cold pizza). Anyway Italian pizza doesn’t taste good with delivery laying on the cardboard.

The pizza didn’t have any taste, didn’t have salt, I didn’t like the sauce, and I only could eat the half of the pizza with the spicy olive oil because looks like I was eating paperboard, I was with high expectations but it disappointed me a lot

I happen to call beppe pizza in hilversum around 21:20, to ask to order a pizza, the women who picked the phone started laughing at me because I wanted to order a pizza. I mentioned that I believed they were open until later, and she just turned off the phone.. terrible service and a bit surprising because when I went to the restaurant I was well received.

Tonight at 9pm ordered pizzas, at 10:05pm an email that our order was cancelled. Doubly sour, because now we have no pizza and all other businesses are closed. It can happen that you don't have capacity for a while, but let us know immediately so that an alternative can be found. Conclusion: NEVER again Beppe. Not for me and for the ten friends who ordered with me and for all the people in Hilversum that we all know. Strength.

Sometimes you are really looking forward to a meal and then it turns out to be disappointing… same here… the staff looks to see if they have seen a ghost when you come in, they don't understand you well and they don't really feel like helping you. In addition, the pizzas were unfortunately also disappointing... tough intention, even the iconic villain Jaws in the James Bond films The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) must have had difficulty with it. The salami was also tough, a bit like the sole of a shoe... next time just go with New York pizza :) Typical case of: it could be better...

We went to eat here, although the positive reactions on the internet are not so positive. We sat outside because of the nice weather. We were the only ones sitting outside, which isn't a bad thing. Z I immediately walked inside to report that we were sitting outside. After about 6 minutes I had to go inside to say that we wanted the menu and wanted to drink. As if they had forgotten us. A few minutes later someone came to drink for us, which happened fairly quickly. But then I had to go inside for the menu, after which it took another time until our order was taken. The most expensive pizzas also took a very long time before they arrived in front of us In short, we felt forgotten and will not eat here again. The street didn't have a nice atmosphere either, we only drove past on motorcycles. And it was a smoke-free terrace, which is great! However, it was not clearly indicated anywhere. The pizzas were tasty, but a bit sparse, the margaritta pizza had a few sad leaves on it and the trufalo pizza had truffle sauce sprayed on it in a way that was not neatly serveable. And a few slices of meat, which you pay for. Furthermore, the pizzas were delicious!

I love the pizza here and have come back several times. I’d give a 5 star review, but I just found out my favorite people from this store are leaving (Joel and Katrina). They made the whole experience with excellent pizza. As a business, you should be careful how you treat the people who interact with your customers. That can make all the difference.

Came here yesterday, staff informative advising us they had problems with the oven. Our waitress Katrina kept us upto date with the arrival of our food. When we eventually had our pizza it was delicious.

Ordered via home delivery at 7 p.m. Delivery time of 15 minutes. After ordering, the pizza would be delivered at 8:08 PM. Called at 8:30 PM, the pizza would be made in 10 minutes. Called again at 9:00 PM, the pizza has already been delivered. Called again at 9.25 pm, the pizza is now actually being made. Received pizza at 9:40 PM. Ordered extra basil and found 2 leaves on the entire pizza. Sweet young lady on the phone who couldn't do anything about this. I feel sorry for her. No problem if it's too busy, close your delivery apps and cancel the orders.

It took almost an hour for our pizza to arrive, and honestly, it felt like no one cared. There was zero sense of urgency from the waitstaff or the kitchen. No updates, just a lot of waiting around. It's clear this place doesn't value its customers' time. If you expect anything close to timely service, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Om te beginnen: de pizzas waren heel goed. Verder kunnen wij niet zo positief zijn. Hoewel het personeel vriendelijk was, is het toch wel wat vreemd, dat ze alleen maar engels spreken (behalve de pizzaiolo, maar die bedient niet). Het duurde bijna 45 minuten tot de pizzas kwamen, tamelijk lang, alhoewel het absoluut niet vol bezet was. Wij zaten bij de oude ingangsdeur en het was daar echt ontzettend koud, je voelde voortdurend de wind naar binnen blazen. Van de drie rode wijnen op de kaart, was de goedkoopste, maar de lekkerste, niet vooradig, helaas. Op de toiletten (dames en heren) was geen toiletpapier. Ook na dit gemeld te hebben, werd dit niet aangevuld. Pas bij de tweede keer navragen. Atmosfeer meer amerikaans dan italiaans.

Really enjoyed our pizza's - proper napolitan style pizzas with good, fresh ingredients. Plenty of choice. The score lost 1 star on the food category because the meatballs starter was luke warm and didn't taste like nice, fresh, homemade meatballs - the texture was a bit bouncy/chewy.

I usually love the Pizza Beppe restaurant, but this one is scamming its customers through the Uber eats promotion system. 1st experience was with a discounted truffle pizza, I have received a pizza without any truffle in it, not a single taste of truffle. 2nd time was yesterday with a promotion buy 1 get 1 free that I ordered x2 and both free pizza were missing. As Uber is honest and recognized the mistake, I got refund for it. It’s a shame for your restaurant. Won’t order anymore there for sure.

I wanted to go to Pizza Beppe for a long time and because of all those positive reviews I thought that Pizza Beppe would be above average. I have been waiting for a while to go here, because it is almost impossible to enter with a wheelchair due to the high threshold, so when the weather would be nice, I would go here. At the beginning of August I decided to go here with my father for a father-son evening. Once we arrived, we could simply take a seat outside. There was plenty of room to sit outside and the atmosphere was pleasant and it was not busy. After about 10 - 15 minutes we were allowed to order and ordered a Burrata for the starter and a Pizza Verdure for the main course. Unfortunately it wasn't that fresh and I felt like it was just a Burrata that you can get at Albert Heijn. I thought it was disappointing. About half an hour later the Pizza Verdure arrived. It looked like a regular Neapolitan Pizza. It also tasted like a very regular Neapolitan Pizza. I have eaten better Neapolitan Pizza with a better crust and tastier tomato sauce. I said I wanted extra cheese on the pizza. But what I saw was anything but ''extra cheese''. I know it sounds crazy, but I like my pizza with just a little more cheese and I remember eating Neapolitan Pizzas with enough cheese. But unfortunately not here, which I think is a great shame. The only thing that was tasty were the eggplants, which tasted good on the pizza. Furthermore, I would never return here, but I wouldn't stop you from going here either. It's just not recommended.

Ordered drinks and ordered food, only after 1 hour was the food ready and they forgot to bring the drinks after saying twice. Really ruined my whole evening, I will never come back here again (pizza is tasty though)

Tonight we had pizza at Pizza Beppe with our grandson. The first time for me and my husband. We enjoyed it. What delicious pizzas. Just like a pizza should be. A nice airy soft crust, well topped. And enjoyed the passionate pizza chef behind the oven how he prepared his pizzas. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely come back.

Had pizza delivered via Thuisbezorgd, pizza arrived 2 hours later and was also cold. Had a very rude employee on the phone. It wasn't all their fault according to her...

Don't recommend it! Received a cold pizza after an hour and 45 minutes. In the meantime, I called again about where the food was and very unfriendly staff. It was everyone and everything's fault but them. After another 45 minutes received a cold pizza, soaked in sauce. Bad service, mediocre quality and incredibly long waits.

Very fast service, but the pizza base was very soft. The tiramisu was very tasty, the vanilla ice cream looked like water ice. Operation was a bit clumsy.

Multiple mistakes in our order, and still mistakes after re-taking and re-entering our order 3 times. Our family ultimately never got the food we ordered or wanted. And the staff seemed very confused / not too interested in making it right. I've had bad experiences here before and decided to give it a final chance, but after this last experience I will not be back.

Pizza’s zijn prima. Mooi dun en klein. Met wel iets te veel aan zwarte randjes. Het is er erg (bijna lachwekkend) duur allemaal. 17 euro voor een gemiddelde eenvoudige pizza…, waar het normaal en kortgeleden nog 10 of 12 was? Ook is vier euro voor een heel klein flesje pils van 0,25cc echt belachelijk. Voor een tapbiertje wil je dat al niet betalen. En dan 10 euro voor een kleine flauwe Aperol Spritz is ook bij Beppe kennelijk heel gewoon geworden. Tafeltjes zijn erg klein en staan veel te dicht op je buren. Ook met de harde muziek zijn alle gesprekken met het gesmak om je heen nog te volgen. Maak er dan maar een hele grote gezellige tafel van, waar iedereen kan aanschuiven….. De jonge bediening is heel vriendelijk. De veel te harde muziek wordt gelukkig op verzoek meteen (“geen probleem”) zachter gezet. De Tiramusu is goed en zeker aan te raden. Al met al is Pizza Beppe veel te duur voor een eenvoudige Pizzaria.

Buiten gegeten (qua weer te doen) omdat de hond niet mee naar binnen mocht. Wel kunnen zitten op een bank met heerlijke kussens. Vriendelijk personeel!

Lovely place the pizza there is really delicious and done the right way you can tell they are using top quality ingredients!! Service is good the staff is friendly. We booked in advance but it was fairly empty compared to the one in utrecht. Would definitely go back for the margarita with buratta and the focaccia. We parked 5 mins walk in the mall but i think there is street parking if you are feeling lazy!!

By far the best Napoli style Pizza in 'het Gooi" area. Low brow, high quality. Friendly staff, fair prices. When the guests all come from Italy, you know something's up. Try the vegetarian pizza with Truffle sauce. Mind-blowing good. One wouldn't expect a gem like this in a town like Hilversum, where mediocrity rules. Ottimo!

Heerlijke pizza gegeten plus een een heerlijke tira misu! Complimenten voor de jongen die deze avond stond te koken! De Engels sprekende Italiaanse ober was erg aardig en attent. Topkwaliteit. Niet laten bezorgen, maar gewoon in het restaurant gaan zitten, dan is je pizza vers en hoef je ook niet te klagen dat je pizza koud is. Prima avond gehad!

Best pizza I've had in my 6 months in the Netherlands, hands down. By far the best in Hilversum. Excellent dough, lovingly baked by an Italian pizzaiolo, delightfully thin with a bubbly burnt crust. Simple yet mouthwatering toppings (in the walk-in menu; there seems to be more on order on the website), all ingredients taste just right. The better is the enemy of the good, they say... It will take a lot to convince me to look elsewhere whenever I crave pizza.

Finally true pizza Napoletana in Hilversum! For those reviewers complaining about the soft crust and some burned spots: that is the essence of Napoli pizza! Fresh dough, with high protein content, baked in an oven with a temperature of at least 750°F/400°C. It makes for a unique pizza. Perhaps there are at most 10 restaurants in the whole of Netherlands that serve real pizza Napoletana, compared to at least 10 restaurants in every little town that serve American pizza or generic Italian pizza. My vote is on pizza Napoletana! As with all pizzas, it should be eaten fresh from the oven. So if at all possible, pick it up yourself instead of hoping Uber eats or Thuisbezorgd will drive straight to your place to deliver it.

Best pizza we've got this year and definitely best pizza in Hilversum. Dough is thin with the right mix of crispy and chewy. Toppings are fresh and combinations are great.

Great pizzas but super limited choices

Overvallen door gastvrijheid en service! Ik was te vroeg, de zaak was eigenlijk nog niet open, werd met alle egards ontvangen, geweldig leuk! Kreeg nog een glas bubbels aan geboden, moest even wachten tot de oven heet was! Kan het niet anders maken!

Wat een fantastische service, het restaurant was nog niet open, een ontzettend gastvrij vrouw (meisje) gaf aan, komt u binnen, wat kunnen wij voor u doen! Ik zij tegen de kok , pizzabakker, je kunt maken wat je wilt, ik betaal. Een goddelijke lekker pizza, en goddelijke bediening, en dank voor het glas water!

Helaas kunnen ze geen grote bestelling aan. We kregen de bestelling in 3 termijnen waardoor we niet met z’n alle konden eten. Bovendien 1 uur te laat. Beter was het geweest om aan te geven dat een bestelling van 20 pizza’s veel langer duurt dan gevraagd. Door de lange doorlooptijd waren de pizza’s niet meer knapperig en eerder slap.
