I often go there for a good meal and I think everything goes smoothly

We ate at the restaurant twice during our vacation. The first time, we were quite satisfied; the pizza was great and the service was good. The second time, I made the mistake of ordering pasta, which really wasn't good. My partner ordered pizza without arugula and got a pile of arugula on it. Unfortunately, the service staff was a bit overwhelmed that evening. The location is great.

Costa is always a treat to go to! Delicious Italian food, fast, enthusiastic service, and a beautiful location.

I ordered grilled chicken (pollo). I'd previously eaten the best grilled chicken in Italy, but unfortunately, the grilled chicken at Costa is nothing more than five thin slices of grilled chicken breast, very dry, and has nothing to do with grilled chicken. I regularly ate here on Koningsstraat when I was younger. The food was delicious, again (tagliatelle with salmon). I'd never had such delicious salmon. The service was very friendly, but they didn't bring the requested dessert menu or ask if we wanted any drinks. Instead, they used the QR code provided. (It wasn't explained, by the way.) This made us feel a little less welcome. The atmosphere is nice, with lots of small seating areas. The sound is pleasant despite the large, tall building. It just looks really nice.

Costa is always good! Delicious food. The service is always friendly. This time, however, we found the service a bit lacking. We didn't see much service at the table, so we ordered drinks via the QR code. It also took a very long time for our drinks to arrive. The food, on the other hand, arrived very quickly. Overall, we were satisfied.

The pizzas were delicious as usual. The service was very friendly and attentive. It was a shame, though, that despite having made a reservation in advance and there being plenty of room in the restaurant upon arrival, we were seated at a table in a corner. Not a very welcoming spot. After consulting with the staff, we were given a nicer table with a more unobstructed view. But otherwise, another great evening out!

Excellent Italian cuisine, interesting interior.

We were out of sight. We had to wave wildly to get anyone's attention. We were supposed to get the dessert menu, but it never arrived. After sitting on a bit of a dry spell for a while, we decided to pay. The staff were friendly, though, but they need to learn to keep looking around. The food was delicious.

Great pizza, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, it's very expensive. I think that's a lot for a well-topped pizza, over €20. Add a drink, and you're already over €100 for a family. But that doesn't bother anyone; it's packed on a Wednesday.

The food was good, as usual, just good. The tiramisu was a bit small, but very tasty ;-)

The food is, as usual, very good. However, we had made a reservation and called to ask if we could be seated later. That was fine. We mentioned both in the reservation and on the phone that we had a birthday coming up. They said they would arrange something nice, which they said would be fine. Upon arrival, our reservation had been given away (we were on time). We were given a table in a place with little atmosphere. And unfortunately, they hadn't taken our son's birthday into account either. Even though they confirmed upon arrival that we were the one with the birthday boy. The service was friendly, so we left the customary tip after our dessert. Not a pleasant experience, but the food was delicious.

This time, for the first time in many years, we were a little disappointed. Maybe not really disappointed, but rather sad. Previously, like other guests, we always received a small woven basket with sliced bread and butter before our order was served. That was a nice tradition at your restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't get that this year. Also, the food had already cooled down within five minutes of being served. Perhaps it had been sitting out too long before being brought to our table. As a result, we left some of the food behind because it had gotten cold. Furthermore, our child opened the standard knife, fork, and napkin set that was neatly placed on the table in a cardboard box. The napkin inside had pink stains, which was an unpleasant surprise. We consider these minor setbacks, but hope you see them as constructive feedback. We still appreciate your restaurant and hope that everything will be back to its usual high standard on our next visit.

Lovely restaurant, also recommended for gluten-free pasta and pizza!

I can only mention one negative point, and that's that you regularly hear two different types of music mixed together (from 4711 and Costa). The food was delicious!

Absolutely fantastic, always good if you want to have a nice evening of dining.

We had a wonderful meal, it's just a shame that the young ladies serving throw the food on the table and are too lazy to walk around to put the food in front of the right guest.

My family and I have been coming to Pizza Costa for 30 years. The standard has never wavered in all those years, and it's never a disappointment. Fantastic food. Staff are friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious, but they forgot about us so we got our main course late. And they wanted to deliver our last drink order at the time we already wanted the bill…

Ordered online, order half delivered and what was delivered was cold and tough. After calling twice and having a delivery person at the door three times, finally got the warm and ordered food. Also had to fish cold pizzas out of the trash because this had to be taken away again. A lot of money for a lot of hassle and initially cold food.

This time there was no one to show us our place. After waiting 10 minutes, I had to ask someone. Finally taken to the seat. The sliced ​​bread was a bit dried out. As if it had been there for a long time. Normally it is nice and soft with a crispy crust. Ordered Scallopa Marsala. I was so hungry for that. Tasty meat and a delicious sauce. At least that's what it used to be. There was a layer on the meat?? This didn't look good. The meat was tender. But the sauce tasted sour and was dark in color. Normally somewhat yellow-light brown. Delicious. Maybe I was eating the Scaloppa Limone?? A lime is sour after all!! The fried potato slices and salad were also good. Really a shame that the sauce tasted sour! The Grilled chicken with red sauce: the grilled chicken was too dry and the sauce too sour. Before it was sweet! The fries were good. When paying, it turned out that I had paid for a different table. I already liked it so much. Fortunately, the girl came back with the overpaid money and apologized. All in all: In the beginning there was no one to take us to our place and the food was disappointing. We ate almost everything. But I won't order it again. I like a nice pizza! To top it all off I had paid for another table. I thought it was so expensive! the lady who had paid came to return the overpaid money with her apologies. I think that's neat!

Nice reception, nice restaurant! Friendly and helpful staff. Fresh and delicious food, total picture! Super! The question about the food not filled in, this is different for everyone, taste! But now several times and both spicy pizza and pasta, out of art!

Normally really delicious pizzas, the taste was good again but the pizza limp and wet. Too bad but better next time.

We go to Pizzaria Costa every time we're in Den Helder. Even when I was a child, almost 30 years ago. The food is delicious. However, the service has always been "difficult." It always seemed as if the locals were the more desirable customers. Unfortunately, this is still the case today. We were last there on Whit Monday. Drink orders were taken quickly, but delivery took a long time. We also had to wait a long time for the food. Even though similarly sized or even larger groups who ordered later received their food before us. When our food arrived, the pizzas were delicious. However, the top of the kids' lasagna was completely burnt. Due to the long wait and our hunger, we didn't send it back. We waited in vain for a similar offer from the service. Since this or similar things have happened repeatedly in recent years, I wanted to write a review. The food, when it's not burnt, is generally delicious.

We enjoyed it, I came with my mother and daughter. And we had a delicious meal and were warmly welcomed. The waitress was super sweet with my daughter and really talked to her instead of us! The food - the pizzas tasted very good, even the crusts ;) Only the atmosphere, well it is big and open but we sat at a table with an open cupboard in between and the people next to us talked so loudly with their company that we really had to step over them sometimes.

Ordered food. Scaloppa Marsala and gorgonzola. Bad meat. Potatoes cold. Salad is no longer included. Price of dish has not been reduced because of this. Too bad because it was always so tasty.

If you are on a diet, it is not well organised here. The menu is huge, but if you ask what you can eat, they have to ask the chef every time. When she comes back, she does not know. The day before, I called about the possibilities. So it was difficult on the spot. No spread with the sandwich that is the first on the table. When I ask, they go to the neighbours, but they do not have any spread either, only herb butter (butter which I am not allowed to have). They could have thought of a nice olive oil with some herbs to dip in. No sauce with the meat, they do not know if this is possible, maybe there is cream in it. So I have some fried vegetables. This was tasty. For everyone with a meat dish, there were fried potatoes and only some lettuce. Everyone then had a delicious dessert. There were no ice cream options on the menu for me. I asked if they had a non-alcoholic cocktail for me. We do not have that, that is the specialty from downstairs. Then you can get that from downstairs I think. So then a mint tea, also delicious of course, but all in all it is very disappointing if it is not arranged properly, so they do not really think along. Especially if you call in advance and it is listed in the computer at the table we have reserved. Too bad! This restaurant unfortunately does not become my favorite place to eat well, despite the fact that you are also a paying customer. Still 3 stars for the taste and quantity of the dishes.

This is a very cozy place with incredibly delicious pizza. However, the staff is a bit disappointing. When we asked for another glass of wine, they forgot about us. After 15 minutes, we asked again, and when the waitress finally brought us the glass of wine, she seemed very annoyed with us. I understand that you may have many customers and might forget something because of that, but please don’t show me that you are irritated because of me. It’s not nice towards the guests.

With a meat dish it states that you will be served potatoes and lettuce, we were 7 people, 4 of whom ordered a meat dish. We received 1 bowl of potatoes, I immediately asked for lettuce and another bowl of potatoes, but this only came after we had emptied the plate. It also took a long time before we could place an order.

Actually the food and the service was very good. But under the tables were mice running around. When we pointed that Out to the staff they didn't even seem to bei surprised. The pizzeria of Den Helder for many years and I have only come across its equal once in the country. If we want really tasty pizza and a nice place to sit, Costa is the place to be.

Me and my friends went to eat here and we ordered a pizza but the pizza was rock hard. I couldn't eat it. The atmosphere and service were otherwise excellent.

We had a delicious meal again. We also had a cozy spot for the two of us. We received a very friendly welcome and our pizzas were on the table quickly.

My dear mother-in-law thought she would do something nice for me and my girlfriend because we have been together for a year. The order arrived and then the realization hit that the pizza was missing vegatariana with mozzarella, salami and bacon. Well, my mother-in-law was raised Christian, but I have heard GVD come out of it 4 times. We thought we would call them again, but it seemed as if the money was being taken from her hands because the first thing they said was that they were closing at 6 past 9. Update. Pizza eventually arrived a bit sketchy in my opinion. Update 2. Pizza was cold, scandalous.

Everything is just right there: - good food, - no long waiting times between courses, - friendly and alert service, - attractive space. It's always guaranteed to be great if you eat there.

It was all tasty and fine, but it took a very long time before our order was taken (while it was quiet), we had to ask for it.

Delicious food!! Unfortunately the food did not arrive at the same time and the food was incomplete and there was no salad. When paying, the waiter says oo, then I definitely have your salad, while he wolfs down a salad. We were waved goodbye with the comment, better luck next time. Well organised, we had made a reservation half an hour in advance for 13 people and that worked. The food was great.

I found out about this restaurant through the GF app. I chose a pizza with salami, ham, onions, salmon, shrimp... and it was wonderful. Lots of toppings, the gluten-free pizza base was simply delicious. For the first time, no warp or other finished floor. The greeting from the kitchen was Italian thick-sliced ​​bread with herb butter...my husband also found it very tasty. It would have been nice here, since I had specified gluten-free when making the reservation, with a few small pizza rolls... but maybe this is a suggestion for the Costa team🤗 We'll definitely come back more often...
