A few days ago, we went on a week's vacation to Julianadorp and found an Italian restaurant 😋 that only opens on Thursdays. Okay, so far so good. When we arrived there on Thursday, we experienced our first, albeit manageable, disappointment. Our little schnauzer wasn't allowed in. Strange for this dog-friendly region. We then decided to take something with us. We ordered two tuna pizzas with garlic and mushrooms as an extra, and one with spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino. The place was packed. Surprisingly and happily, we had to hurry with a small beer while we waited until our ordered food was ready to go. When we arrived at our FH, we were looking forward to the pizzas and spaghetti. But we were all the more disappointed by what we found in the packaging. The pizzas we ordered were handed to us without mushrooms and without garlic. The spaghetti wasn't what I had ordered either. They were simply handed to me unsalted and with chili oil. No garlic, no herbs, no chili pieces, and no parsley were used. What's left of the actual name? Too tired from the day, we decided not to complain in person. When I look at the prices being charged, we found it a real disappointment and a definite no-recommendation. Sorry, that's not how you win or keep customers. Not even in North Holland 🙁

The two pizzas we picked up didn't meet expectations or the order. One of the two pizzas wasn't the one we ordered, and the toppings on both pizzas were meager.

It's great that you're updating the website as well. Meanwhile, I had to disappoint my daughter for the second time, because the holiday (on the website) was also announced at the last minute and is still listed until the 25th, but they remain closed. Enjoy your pizza in Tuscany, knowing I have to comfort my daughter here again.

We had three pizzas (two spinach and one salami with tuna) to take away. The service was nice and the food was okay. It's worth trying once in a while. I can't comment on the other dishes.

Yes...we come here every year. This time with different staff. They are friendly and attentive. It wasn't busy, but quieter. We didn't need to reserve a table. Everyone enjoyed the food. We'd love to come back...😋🥰

After sending my food back several times, we were done with it. One time it was grilled for far too long, the next time it wasn't grilled for long enough, and my meat wasn't even warm inside, so I just ate it raw. Then we got a new plate, and to make matters worse, the chicken wasn't cooked through. They can't really cook there. I'll definitely never go back here again. I'd like to tell everyone to save yourself the trouble and avoid them.

Worst pasta ever!! Paid €50 for overcooked pasta that tasted like nothing!!

We've been eating at this Italian restaurant for years, and it's always been very good value for money and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the owner has now changed, and unfortunately, the service and value for money have slipped into the negative. On a Saturday evening, half the tables had chairs placed upside down. The waitresses were clearly overwhelmed with just serving drinks. Placing a food order took twenty minutes, after politely pointing out that they would like to order. It should be noted that there were four employees and three tables with a total of eleven customers present, so there was no question of overwork. The ordered shandys and beers weren't even close to the fill line in the glasses, which was quite a stretch considering the price of €8 for a 0.5l beer. The starters were tasty, but quite small for the price. Three prawns for €11 is expensive, even for Julianadorp. Then our main courses were seemingly forgotten, because based on the gestures and reactions of the staff, and 40 minutes after the starter, there was still no food on the table (by then there were two other guests with us four people). The main courses were very good in terms of price and taste. €13 for a calzone is a real bargain compared to the starters and drinks. Conclusion: We will definitely not eat there again. We will order pizza and pick it up when we have time (customers who ordered takeaway in the restaurant waited around 20 minutes for two pizzas). I would also like to make it clear that I am well aware of and familiar with the prices in a vacation home. And we eat out every day on vacation. But I expect decent service, which this restaurant is unfortunately very far from. It's just a shame.

We've been there several times, and the food is always good, sometimes different from what you'd expect, with a slightly Dutch touch. The mussels are first-class, a MUST for us every time. Reservations are recommended; pick-up is no problem; the wait at the table is quite long; some employees speak German, others only English.

No dogs allowed. They don't want my money.

We went there as a family with two children to eat pizza. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant: cozy. The pizza also offers a large selection of Italian cuisine. We really enjoyed the pizza, and despite being understaffed, the service was still fast and friendly. Highly recommended. There's a play area for children.

Great pizzeria. Awesome pizza and very friendly staff. Long wait times are to be expected, as there's a shortage of staff here, just like everywhere else in the restaurant industry. Anyone who complains about this is welcome to quit their job and work in the restaurant industry themselves. The ambiance is rather dated, dusty, and disorganized. But we'll be happy to come back for the great pizza 😊

Wurden immediately at the end of the day with a warning: “No dogs in the restaurant” and almost taken away. Unser Verbrechen: wir hatte een kleineen weißen Bolonka dabei. Draußen steht nichts von Hundeverbot. Kann ja jedes Lokal haben wie es möchte - aber der Tonkracht die Musik. Our dieser were extremely uncomfortable. Daher: better girls! They were sent very rudely right at the entrance: "No dogs in the restaurant" and were almost thrown away. Our crime: we had a small white Bolonka with us. Outside there is nothing about a dog ban. Can treat any restaurant as it wants - but the sound makes the music. And this one was extremely rude. Therefore: better avoid!

Ordered food for 6 people with small children. Pizzas were fine with fresh toppings, pasta Bolognese was not so. Ordered at 2:30 for 5 o'clock. They didn't arrive until 6 o'clock, annoying with small children. But the pizzas made up for it.

Had a delicious pizza, just well topped, would have liked a bit more ham on the pizza. That may be a matter of tastes. Took a bit long to wait while it wasn't too busy. Nothing to complain about, otherwise good food, friendly service and a nice place to sit.

Wanted to have a nice meal after a day at the beach. However, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. Therefore, eating on site was out of the question, so we ordered takeaway - the waiting time was 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately, in the end we were not satisfied: the bases of the pizzas were so thin that in places they were no longer there under the toppings and the spaghetti carbonara was tasteless. Only the pastichio was delicious.

Picked up pizza and lasagna. Pizza was tasty, but a bit bland. Lasagna had way too much cheese and weak ham and almost no meat sauce. I didn't eat everything, the dish was completely out of balance. Not recommended. For pizza it's okay

A rich selection with over 60 pizzas and other Italian cuisine. The bruschetta can be a little oilier and refined with more balsamic vinegar and garlic. At least you should have the opportunity to do this at the table, which unfortunately is not the case here. Pizza and pasta are good, the staff is very friendly.

Nice pizzeria for the village, really old skool!!

Personeel was jong en onervaren. Na 1 uur wachte nog geen eten op tafel. Wachten was het niet waard, eten was droog en saus smaakte naar niks. De patat en brood was hard en niet te eten. Waardeloos, ik raad dit niet aan.

Ate here on a Saturday with children and grandchildren. Few customers, cold light, tea light holders on the table without candles and so on... Service slow and had to ask for drinks even though it was quiet. The pizzas themselves were very tasty, but we won't go back for the experience.

Absolutely unfriendly, after what felt like 10 minutes we still weren't assigned a table, Dutch people who came later had a table like us, then left after a pointless conversation with an unreasonable gentleman in a white shirt who still didn't want to give us a table even though many were free.

Die beiden Pizzen, die wir hatten, waren super. Genau wie wir sie uns vorgestellt hatten. Auch der rose Hauswein war lecker. Schade nur, daß wenige Gäste da waren.

Afhalen: prima. Restaurant: Bediening onervaren en niet gemanged. Lange wachttijden, onze wijn smaakte waterig. Kregen andere maar de eerste stond wel op de rekening (oeps, foutje). Eten van enkele mensen was niet warm. Toetje kan zo uit de supermarkt (we herkenden het papiertje eromheen en dat voor €9). We gaan er voorlopig niet meer naar toe. Wel een aanrader om pizza's of pasta af te halen en thuis te nuttigen.

We ordered for pickup, but received the wrong order. The pasta we got consisted only of spaghetti with oil. We ordered pesto with cheese. Shame.

Takeaway experience not very smooth... First called 20 times, no answer. Phone doesn't work. Prices on the website are no longer correct... Intermittent music in the restaurant. So it's all a bit mediocre.

Ordered 2 pizzas from our holiday address. These were wonderfully tasty, really enjoyed them. Prepared with fresh ingredients and you can taste it. Good price/quality ratio. In our opinion, an absolute must!

We are on holiday in Julianadorp aan Zee. We wanted to order pizza and we called 47 times with no response. What kind of restaurant are you if you don't answer the phone.

The service was completely overwhelmed, and it wasn't full. Waited almost an hour until we could order food, then another hour until the pizzas came. Food was very tasty.

Reasonable Italian. Constantly changing staff who cannot cope with crowds. The food is tasty and the price-quality ratio is reasonable. Have a lot of patience because a simple pizza can take over an hour. Went there again today but walked away for the first time. After 15 minutes we still didn't see a waitress to take drinks, I thought this was really ridiculous so we left. There were only 5 tables with visitors at this time. Really not busy... unfortunately, but I won't go here anymore.

What a nice restaurant, very hospitable, served quickly and very friendly, we even got a bread basket on the table which was delicious. The food was a big 10, even our 2 kids finished their plate. And not unimportantly, very affordable.

The food is fantastic, unfortunately the tables are only cleaned when new guests sit down. The staff is very nice, but could be a little more on the ball 😉

Pizzas were great! Sure, thin but that's how it is with Italians. Unfortunately there was no Italian beer to order or it was out. The map is varied, but unfortunately only available in Dutch. We had an old order flyer in German from the guesthouse and were able to understand everything. According to the print, this was 3 years old - prices have been around 20-30% more expensive since then. But where is that no longer the case these days? Unfortunately, the service wasn't quite as usual as usual at an Italian restaurant. There was some music missing, candles were only partially replaced on the tables (there were 11 of us at three tables put together - only one had candles) and somehow the Italian " “Feeling” was missing overall. Next time I would take a pizza with me and enjoy it on the beach, which is 2km away.

Pizza was good - unfortunately credit cards (MasterCard) are not accepted, which also makes it difficult to pay with the new bank cards. Since Maestro is no longer applicable and some of the EC cards work as a co-badge with MasterCard, there is no longer any acceptance.

The food is good, but you have to have a lot of patience. Service is friendly. A total of 3 hours under the pans. My advice streamlines the process in the kitchen and then my irritation does not score a 5. Then in a year's time I can start to rate it positively.

Everything clean and comfortable. They take care of you straight away. There is a separate waiting area with seating for those who pick up their own food. Pizza was large and very tasty.

We visited on June 21, 2024 and ordered Melanzane Malla Parmiggiana and the classic Spaghetti Bolognese with extra Parmesan. Unfortunately there was only a hint of cheese on the Bolognese, although the extra cheese can be ordered and will be charged accordingly. Other than that, the food was delicious. The prices on the website are out of date, e.g. the Bolognese cost €5 more than stated on the web. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, which you can only find out on site. VISA or credit cards are not accepted.

Schlecht organisierter Gastrobetrieb! Lange Wartezeiten auf das Essen - ob am Tisch oder im Take away - und das trotz sehr wenig Betriebs. Gestern nahmen wir den Abholservice in Anspruch da der zuvor angebotene Lieferdienst (vermutlich mangels Mitarbeiters) nicht mehr existierte. Und einen weiteren Besuch wollten wir uns aufgrund einer vorhergehenden Erfahrung nicht antun nach langen Wartezeiten am Tisch. Die telefonisch bereits über 1 Stunde zuvor bestellten vier Pizzen auf eine vereinbarte Abholzeit konnten dann endlich nach über 30 Minuten Wartezeit entgegennehmen werden. Das vor uns wartende Pärchen toppte diese nach ihren Aussagen mit gut 45 Minuten, in der aus Frust das eine oder andere Bier bestellt wurde. Klar - wir wissen dass Personal schwer zu finden ist. Und haben insbesondere Verständnis zu Zeiten mit Hochbetrieb. Allerdings waren die Tische in dieser Zeit zu weniger als 20% besetzt und bis auf drei Tische (mit jeweils 2 Pers.) hatten alle ihr Essen bereits bei unserer Ankunft auf dem Tisch. An fehlenden Aushilfen im Service mangelte es gestern ebenfalls nicht, denn auch zwei der vier anwesenden hätten das leicht managen können. Somit schien die Küche dem „Andrang“ nicht gewachsen zu sein? Oder hatte der Pizzaiolo den grossen Ofen nicht in Betrieb? Oder hätte dies insgesamt besser organisiert werden können bereits bei der telefonischen Annahme von Bestellungen und Vergabe von Abholzeiten? „Weniger ist mehr“ - also mal überlegen die Karte zu verkleinern (es braucht nicht an die 50 Pizzen usw.) und den Betrieb zu organisieren! Das geht auch wenn Aushilfen (Anfängerinnen) geführt werden. Dazu braucht es allerdings auch zumindest einen Profi im Betrieb! Und ich spreche natürlich aus Erfahrung und nicht nur als Gast. Die Pizzeria wurde bis Corona von einer anderen Betreiberin geführt, der man nur ein hervorragendes Zeugnis ausstellen kann. Übrigens - die Pizzen waren dann doch qualitativ noch recht gut.

Phone call asking if there was room for 2 people. We first had to wait before we were guided to a table. Everyone was busy. Then waited more than 10 minutes. Everyone was busy. We didn't feel welcome. We left without eating. This is very unfortunate

Wow. Wow. Really teeth watering!!! Pizza was large but oh so tasty. Just like the pasta!! Highly recommended. Service was super friendly and even when we asked for salami to be added to half of the pizza it was no problem. We were allowed to take a seat there ourselves without making a reservation. Truly 100 stars from us!

Have pizzas delivered. Even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait long. Very nice staff. Pizzas were tasty and crispy, but the vegetarian pizzas could have been seasoned a little more.

Very tasty Italian pizza, pasta and tiramisu, but the biggest reason for 5 stars is the enormous child-friendliness. Space for a chat, no problem if someone accidentally gets in the way and a chair was placed for my curious children to have a good look at the open kitchen. They were even allowed to top their own pizza and put it in the oven! That won't always be possible, but it was very special for our children. There is also a play corner and there are coloring pages and pencils, so you are very welcome here with children! Review from my 4-year-old son: if I can choose where to eat on my birthday, I want to eat here! Review from my 6-year-old son: I also want to work here when I grow up! Review from my 1-year-old son: a face full of sauce and a round belly. We will definitely come back!

Het eten was super compliment aan de keuken. Bediening begon goed maar na onze bestelling waren we gauw vergeten. Zonde want we hadden graag nog wat drankjes gewild bij het eten. Na een serveerster gewenkt te hebben kwam ze eindelijk aan de tafel om de bestelling op te nemen maar vervolgens werden deze niet gebracht. We grapten nog dat we maar naast de naastgelegen chinees een toetje gingen halen. Jammer dat er geen goeie manager loopt om het jeugdige personeel te leiden. Het kon zo’n leuk restaurant zijn met wat goed oplettend personeel. Nu lopen ze veel inkomsten mis. Drankjes en desserts die niet verkocht worden. Oja de spinnenwebben van Halloween en de kerstversiering mag zo onderhand ook wel weg. Het barst van de spinnerag op lampen en cv platen bah. Voorlopig hier maar niet meer heen jammer het eten was lekker

Delicious food and nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately we had no influence on the table two meters away. Two families with 2 toddlers threw toys around in the play corner and stood there scolding visitors. They looked a lot like their parents; they weren't much better. You'll just have them as neighbors. We will definitely come back, but stay away from these angry bambinos...

Ate here again after 20. Nothing had changed in terms of atmosphere, it was still unpleasant. The pizza was very tasty. Only the music is way too loud and you have to talk louder and louder.

Delicious food for a very nice price (spaghetti bolognese for only 10 euros for example) Dessert "Dame Bianca" also delicious. The restaurant looks attractive and cozy on the inside. The only thing we missed was a little background music 😉 Friendly service too! 😊 The order could just be taken a little faster. Fortunately we were not in a hurry 😉 so no problem for us. Too bad the restaurant is (temporarily?) only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will definitely visit again!

Were with a group of 6 people. Reserved in advance. Restaurant was half full. Worthless service. Inexperienced and not managed. Had to wait 45 minutes for the food. White wine sent back: watery and completely without taste. We weren't the only ones complaining about the slow progress of cases. Then offer a drink? Pizzas were tasty. Scaloppa a la marsala was also not tasty. Shame. Used to be a nice restaurant. Now a tent that is far below standard and where the emphasis is on takeaway. Never again!!!

Terrible, never eaten something so bad and dirty and if you say something about it, it is still up to you instead of coming up with a solution or taking your complaint seriously, they will start a discussion with you

We have eaten many times and it was always good and pleasant. I think it's a real shame that things have deteriorated so much. The lighting was on maximum. Beautiful Christmas lights that would give you a fit. A lot of staff behind the bar and in the kitchen who seem to enjoy working in the kitchen and behind the same bar. I have to get attention for every order and hold my hand up like a student. Unfortunately, there were also many children who turned it into a playground and ran from one side to the other of the store. Oh and a delicious dessert, namely a white chocolate ice truffle... but with the Sligro paper still underneath. Our 4 year old child doesn't even eat the fries. That is quite understandable since it was baked in an old fryer. I could name a few more examples. All in all, I really think it's a shame that it's not as good as it was. Unfortunately this is the last time here for us. I hope things will improve again. Because this is more like a snack bar.

Heerlijk gegeten goede service en het eten smaakte voor het eerst in lange tijd echt weer zoals we het gewent waren.

Pizza ist sehr lecker, leider sind wir überall die Getränke sehr teuer.

Freundliches Personal, super Pizza (groß und gut belegt), Getränke preislich etwas teurer, aber es ist ja auch ein Restaurant. Aufmerksamer Service.

Nun ja, es ist weit und breit der einzige Italiener. Und wenn man nun mal Lust auf italienische Nudeln oder Pizza hat... Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. Das ganze Essen hätte deutlich besser gewürzt bzw. abgeschmeckt sein können, es war doch ziemlich fad. Die Bedienungen waren überlastet (Lokal fast voll), aber dennoch freundlich. Ich vermute, dass es auch in den Niederlanden einen Mangel an Fachpersonal gibt. Man kann hingehen, wenn man eine unbändige Lust auf Pizza verspürt, aber man muss nicht unbedingt hier gewesen sein.

Sehr schönes und kleines Italienisches Restaurant. Das Essen in diesem Fall eine Pizza war herausragend und seit langem die beste die ich gegessen habe aber auch das Personal war super nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie machten alles möglich und haben für manche abholende Gäste, was auch möglich ist, sogar die geschlossene Küche nochmal angefacht. Respekt und sehr gerne wieder.

Beste Pizza in der Gegend und auch die Nudelgerichte waren sehr lecker! Sehr freundliches Personal und was wir besonders gut fanden, dass mal keine Hunde erlaubt waren .Wir finden die haben in einem Restaurant nichts zu suchen. Nur zu empfehlen!

Bestellt wurde drei Pizzen und einmal Risotto frutti du Mare sowie zwei Salate für 54€. Essen war sehr lecker und geschmacklich ebenfalls gut. Etwas Salz und Pfeffer dazu mehr nicht. Ölig war das Essen nicht. Bestellung im Restaurant in English kein Problem. Selbst deutsch ging gut. Hauptsächlich junges Personal. In der Küche zwei Italiener. Auch die im Restaurant ausgeteilten essen sahen appetitlich aus. Die Preise sind OK. Guter mittlerer Bereich. Die Musik typisch italienisch. Perfecto. Mille Grazie

The Team (Chef and Service) is very friendly and always try to get you a table when you have no reservation. The menue card comes on two large sheets (each side printed) and one sheet is only for the pizzas, over 60 different creations. The pricing depending on the toppings is normal and ok. Waiting time is moderate and the pizzas are very tasty and thin. The pizza is the star in this restaurant! Only negativ thing is that the beer with 0,5 liter costs 8 Euro which is pretty expensive not to they ridiculous ... a Salami Pizza has here the same price...but my 4 star review is based on the pizza.

Leckere Pizza. Bedienung manchmal etwas unaufmerksam. Ambiente zeitweise etwaa laut, da es ein einziger großer Raum ist. Aber Alles in Allem kann man dort gut essen.

Le cadre est très agréable et les serveurs très sympathiques. Le service était cependant un peu long et j'ai trouvé quelques pépins dans mon jus d'orange. Les pizzas sont moyennes.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Hatte eine Pizza Carbonara. Cool! Salami, Schinken und Speck. Leider war es sehr voll, so dass ich echt lange warten musste, aber das hat man uns schon vorher gesagt bzw Bescheid gegeben.

Essen soll ja ganz gut sein aber Hunde sind nicht gestattet. Wer unsern Hund nicht will kriegt uns auch nicht.

Charmante Jungs die einem direkt zu Beginn klar sagen dass es dauert wegen Personalmangel...! Wer sich entscheidet zu bleiben wird mit tollem Essen belohnt. Pizza wie sie sein soll, tolle Pasta und auch der Fleischteller in bester Qualität! Das Warten hat sich gelohnt...!

Echt heerlijk gegeten. Het was een beetje chaotisch in de restaurant met te weinig personeel en een telefoon die er mee ophield. Maar de pizzas en pasta waren top! Zou er zo weer eten of bestellen.
