Pizzeria "Palorma" in Weesperbuurt/Plantage

Encontramos La Roma a la vuelta de la esquina del hotel Lancaster y muy contentos de que lo hicimos. Sabrosa pizza, 2 tamaños, espagueti boloñesa y ensalada grande por nombrar algunos. Un montón de opciones, personal servicial y precios muy razonables.

Entré para una pizza para llevar - mi hotel estaba a la vuelta de la esquina. El personal era amable y tenía el vegetariano con pepperoni añadido - tomó unos 10 minutos. La pizza en sí era preciosa - realmente se sentía como auténtico italiano. . Sé adónde ir la próxima vez. Tal vez me siente y pruebe una pasta especial. Gracias.

I fall in love with this simple place. Amazing food taste. Very clean. The lady there servicing all alone perfectly and nicely ( Thanks) I went there 3 times and every time perfect!

6/10 Small dark place with decent pizza, though a bit thin and more salty than it should be. On the other hand, tiramisu was not sweet at all. The kitchen is open and the whole place was full of smoke, making it hard to breathe, I guess something was burned that evening. The waitress was smiling and polite, the cook was not.

Solo diner, walked 20 minutes in the pelting rain as their well regarded reviews and website and listing shows they are open 23:00. Arrived at 22:00, dining room was busy but not “crowded”, I was told they would make a pizza, but I’d have to eat it outside in the downpour. Zero accommodation, the antithesis of hospitality and frankly felt as though I being spoken to like a moron for not knowing 23:00 really means 22:00 .

Visited this place as I was walking by. It was around 8pm not a single customer inside, I ordered one pizza to taste and then order more but the server pointed towards his wrist clock god knows why bcoz they were closing at 10pm. I asked him if they were closing he said no and again asked us for the order. Seems like they do not like if u order one pizza. Pathetic customer service..I walked away without ordering. Funny part is this place is far away from tourist place so rather being happy the guy is pissed that we came lol.

Small, cozy restaurant. Excellent service - offers suggestions, advises. The atmosphere is nice, cozy, calm. If you go in the evening, you may not find free seats, because there are quite a few reservations. The food is delicious, the quantity is not great, but it is enough.

We had a delicious meal with a group of six. The person was great and we were helped quickly. I'll definitely be back.

I come here every other week after volunteering at Artis. Great place to eat and friendly service.

Showed Them that there Werge egg shells in The food. No compensation but rude answers. Go to The other Italian restaurant next door instead.

Very good authentic Italian restaurant. The pizzas are made before our eyes at the entrance to the restaurant and are excellent! We had a spicy gorgonzola and a lasagna which completely won us over. Too bad we were only passing through Amsterdam because I could eat it every day. It's a small restaurant that I imagine is family-run with a chef and a waitress, so the service is a little slow but warm and professional. We were also offered a shot of limoncello on the bill. In any case, more than favorable quality/price ratio. We will come back if the opportunity arises!

We are super disappointed with the general atmosphere and especially the server. He looked at his watch more than 5 times in front of us while he took the order. He threw us the cards. No kind words or even a small smile. We arrived at 8:40 p.m. and asked if it was OK and the answer was yes. We didn't expect that... Too bad because the cook looks extremely nice. He even made us taste a chili pepper. Too bad.

We visited Palorma Pizza in the evening. It was a lovely quiet atmosphere, quick service, and some of the best pizzas we have ever tasted. I highly recommend the 'Spinaze' pizza, delicious! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We ended up here as it was raining fairly hard and we didn’t want to travel far from our hotel to find an Italian restaurant. From the reviews it seemed good but you would think we visited a totally different place (we didn’t). It is not a steakhouse by the way and they sell chicken burgers which should have been my first clue. The two stars are mainly for the service which was fast and good but everything else was very average, I’ve been to some amazing Italian restaurants before. The pizzas here tasted like basic frozen supermarket versions, and the lasagne also was nothing to write home about. Very limited wines, mine was ok, have had better. Staff didn’t look busy and kept looking out to the restaurant and window. There were a few other diners there and the place was friendly enough. Wish we had just taken the tram to go somewhere nicer.

Very tasty pizza and friendly service

I saw that the place had good reviews and decided to check it out with my husband. The first time we went, the place was closed, but the second night, they were still open. We walked in the slightly opened door, thinking maybe they were closed, and the gentleman at the register came to us, kinda looking confused. I asked if they were still open, and he hesitated and said umm take away only in an annoyed way. We were like, okay, so we ordered a mozzarella and a mushroom pizza. We went outside to wait cause it is pretty small inside. An older gentleman was making our pizzas and motioned to us to come in that they were done. He had made both pizzas mozzarella, so they ended up remaking the second. This is when some locals walked in pretty late in the night at this point. They asked if they could still get some pizzas. At this point, I was expecting that they would be told only take away or that they are closed. But not the case they were welcomed in and told to sit anywhere. Like, REALLY! We were nothing but nice and polite, but we were not allowed to eat in. I don't know what to really take from this, but I guess if you don't look a certain way to this establishment, you get a certain treatment. 🤔 Well, just keep this in mind if you want to try this place. Let's move on to the pizza. So don't bother to get the mozzarella the restaurant right next door's is better. The mushroom one was slightly better if you wanted to try it. The older gentleman did feel bad for getting the order wrong and tried to offer us all three pizzas, but we couldn't since we were leaving the next day.Sorry for such a long rant.

Awesome. In addition to the best wafer thin crispy rich pizza, delicious pasta, lamb chops and more... Hospitality and affordable. Highly recommended.

Very nice place with delicious pizzas. The owner and service are great! We got a delicious dessert on the house and ended the evening with a coffee and amaretto, the latter also on the house. Very nice and atmospheric, we will definitely come back!

Delicious pizza with a crispy thin base and good toppings. Unfortunately no ice tea green on the menu. Nice service and a nightcap when paying at the table.

Small pizzeria, with a large selection, also vegetarian. Pizzas and pasta. Small pizza of 26 cm and large one of 40 cm. Well filled, fresh, good taste and very friendly service.

Na aanleiding van de goede reviews hier gisteravond gaan eten. Pizza's waren prima maar de meneer die ons bediende was verre van vriendelijk helaas. De oudere meneer die vroeg of het smaakte was wel vriendelijk maar bij de jongere man die ons bediende kon er geen lachje of bedankje vanaf en voelde ons lichtelijk weg gekeken. Jammer! Voor ons dus niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, reasonable prices and there is a reason why locals come in to get their pizzas here all the time; it's just great food! Best Italian food in town!

Heerlijke pizza en gezellig bediening

Las pizzas estaban deliciosas, la masa era fina pero no te quedabas con hambre y estaban muy bien de precio. Nos gustó tanto que durante el viaje repetimos en el mismo sitio. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

A tiny place with kind staff, good pizza and lasagna.

The pizza has a crust as thin as a leaf and it was really good, not as heavy as thicker pizzas are but still tasty and filling. My wife had a pasta, it was also really good. They also offered an avec with the bill! The only downside was that it took a while to get food, and the atmosphere was a bit plain.

My bf and I went for dinner. The service was very friendly. The pizzas were delicious however we wait 40 minutes for them due to a big group of people was there at same time. The waiter offer us a free drink to compensate it. I recommend it.

Die Pizza war Okay, hab schon bessere gegessen. Wir haben draußen gegessen. Was nicht so toll war, der volle Aschenbecher auf dem Tisch. Als Nichtraucher nicht grade appetitlich.
