We ordered tenderloin with pepper sauce. Pepper sauce is supposed to be spicy, but after two bites, the food burned in our mouths and on our lips. Way too spicy.

My family and I ordered two pizzas, but when the delivery driver arrived, he dropped one of the pizza boxes. When I asked for a replacement, he called me a "whiner" and begged me not to send him back to pick up a new pizza because he didn't want to go back. The boy in question had short, curly hair and wore glasses.

Super friendly service. Good food and not expensive.

Last night I ordered a special carbonara pizza and a durum with döner. According to me (and according to your menu), a special carbonara pizza should contain: tomatoes, cheese, ham, bacon, salami, egg, onion, and roast beef. The pizza I received had no bacon or roast beef. I still had to pay full price. It can happen that an ingredient runs out or something, but some kind of notification is appropriate in such cases. Furthermore, the pizza dough was very tough and dry. This is no longer the same quality as it used to be. Very unfortunate.

Very disappointed. I ordered and paid at 7:30, and nothing was ever delivered. I've been ordering from them for years, but this is ridiculous. I don't know if I'll order again.

Delivery was pretty quick. The pizza was okay; I've had better from Pizzeria Italia. The Turkish roll was very sparse in terms of meat; it only had three slices of sucuk, even though I asked for extra meat. I called back, and they did get a new one. I thought we'd have a nice meal together. In the end, you're not hungry because you still have to wait for the new roll. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering from here again.

Almost 2 hours waiting for 1 pizza ordered online at the beginning of opening time. 5 minutes later they immediately call you to check if you really ordered because you didn't pay online. But at the door you want to pay for lousy service!!!! If you call after 1.5 hours it still has to be made, never order again!!

After reading all the previous reviews... We used to eat at Laragosta on Kerkstraat as a family, but also with a nice group from the gym. We have also been to Da Meloni near the center and it looks very neat/modern and the food was delicious. We also order from there every now and then and we are always satisfied. And we will continue to do so regularly. Keep it up!👍😉

Ordered a pizza and penne with ham, spinach and cream sauce here today. The food was really delicious. The delivery person very friendly. And the staff in the shop itself is also friendly. They promptly called to say that there was no more minced meat and if I wanted something else on the pizza. The only drawback today was the delivery time. When delivering, a time of 6 pm was specified, but everything only arrived around 6:40 pm. I don't recognize the bad reviews. The food was very tasty and the staff friendly. I have ordered from here before and everything was fine. I do hope that delivery will become a bit more punctual. Therefore 4 stars for service.

The service was okay, but it was real pig food and I had a stomach ache for 2 days. So not recommended. The atmosphere could also be better.

Ordered food yesterday and today we are all sick

Ordered 2 pizzas from Italia today. After calling three times, the order finally arrived after 3 hours. The pizza also turned out to be ice cold! Had good experiences with Italia before, but this time it was worthless!

Ordered food at 5:17 p.m. that would be there no later than 6:35 p.m. After calling three times, we received cold and weak food at 8.45 pm. Very bad!

Normally always satisfied with Italia, but unfortunately we had a somewhat poor experience yesterday. Ordered at 4:55 PM and the food didn't arrive until 7:30 PM. We had an appointment at 7:00 PM which we ultimately had to cancel because of this (the food would be there at 6:10 PM and I had ordered expressly on time). After calling twice we were told that the cyclist thought it was too far?? And we had to wait until the car was back. Our order was then immediately delivered. Then we waited more than 45 minutes again. While we live less than a kilometer from Italia as the crow flies. Of course, the extreme weather didn't help and we fully understood this. But waiting 2.5 hours for 2 pastas and hearing nothing more than an apology seems a bit lame to me. Unfortunately, no more Italia for us.

Ordered pizzas a while ago at 6:45 PM. We are then told that the order will be a little later because they had to get new dough. That's fine and it's nice that they let us know. A lot later the food hasn't arrived yet so we call back. They say that the pizzas are now in the ovens and will arrive shortly, but of course after an hour we still don't have our food. Then I called again to say that the owner was now on his way with the pizzas. We assume that it will take another 10/15 minutes before we receive it. But we still had to wait about half an hour. So we ordered at a quarter to 7 and we received the food at 10 o'clock. And the food was also lukewarm. We received a discount voucher for this, which is nice of them. We recently used the discount coupon for two pastas. This time the food came an hour later than planned and this time it was lukewarm. The vegetables looked very similar to the frozen vegetables from the supermarket with broccoli, carrot and cauliflower. In addition, there were brown pieces on the roots. I won't order from here again. Response to the owner: For you to say I'm lying and the way you say it is very unprofessional. When our food arrived so late, you delivered it to us. You told us that we had to call the restaurant the next day for compensation. Ordered food at just before half past six, it would be there at 6:15 PM, but no food at 7:00 PM. Called and said it was on its way and could be there at any time, 7:15 pm no food yet. When we called again we were simply pushed away. When I called from another number, they answered and then hung up. We drove there ourselves to see if the order was ready, when we entered everyone looked at us grumpily and there was no greeting. We also had to wait and it was supposedly very busy and there were 2 people in the shop. When we asked if our pizzas were ready, they were just sitting in the warming tray, no apologies or anything. And food was lukewarm. We will not order from here again. It used to be good but lately it has become extremely bad.

Previous review was based on 3 orders. I also make reviews if they are positive. To err is certainly human, but 3 times in a row? Don't order here anymore since the above review. Hopefully there has been an improvement by now.

I ordered food here at 5, called a quarter to 7 and was told it was on its way and then I still had to wait 45 minutes until it was finally delivered. Having to wait over 2 hours for a pizza is ridiculous and the fact that the delivery person takes over 45 minutes to deliver a meal is way too long, it was lukewarm by the time I got it.

The food was very good, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. Everything was well-packaged and still warm when I got home. Definitely a great option for a delicious meal to-go!

I have ordered here before and have always been satisfied, but now you only get half of a menu for the same price. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The taste of the food is absolutely fine. Portions of the meat dishes have become smaller than before. We also placed an online order that would be delivered at 5 p.m. They had not yet arrived at 5:20 PM. Called and was told it was almost ready. Asked why it turned out like that, it was busy. Nothing else. No apology or solution or anything like that. We don't know if we will order here again. Your order will never be delivered on time.

Use to order here a lot, but the food get worse and worse. Had a run in with the staff and they were really unprofessional and mean about it. Pizza was stuck to the top of the box as if someone has sat on it, and it tasted bad, straight into the trash bin. They said to make it right and send us food but didn't. Ordered a portion of pareribs with fries, but disappointing compared to previous times. Hard pieces, temperature was lukewarm. Fries were limp and overloaded with herbs. A friend of mine had made a mistake with the order. Called the store, and eventually got the 'owner'. on the phone, he was absolutely unsympathetic, rude, short, and downright rude. Pizza was worthless and squashed in the box. Pasta was promised to be delivered, but was never delivered. I listened to the whole story on the phone, and this is really first class rude. I've never had it this unprofessional, so that's something to be proud of for this store...

Even if they get a tip upfront, they have no motivation to call back an clarify if there is a mismatch between the order and the notes given. The food was delivered in a bad condition. When calling they tried to argue about it and got very defensive and a bit loud, instead of trying to find a good solution together. After arguing they offered to send the correct food. It did not arrive. The pizzas they have are very mediocre. Dough feels like the pizza is a day old, no flavour and the cheese was stuck to the lid. Dominos is the better choice for pizza locally. All in all very disappointed and im not going to order here again. Edit after their comment: First of all im not Meneer. Second of all, it is absolutely unprofessional to leak your customers last names on google if you reply to their reviews. You should remove that immediately. Besides that, we admitted that the number was wrong and that it was our mistake. But the fact about how both employees on the phone were immediately confrontational instead of helpful, was the issue. The pizza didnt even get delivered at the first delivery and we had to call. Also if some one says no mushrooms for the only dish, that is not ribs, maybe there should also be no mushrooms on the pizza that was mistakenly ordered instead of the the pasta. The quality of the food was also not good in my opinion. You point out one thing of my review but disregard every thing else that was the actual issue. The way you deal with your reviews on google is super unprofessional and just confirms to never order here again. Please remove the last name from your replies.

What a disappointment this was the last time I ordered from here, food arrived after a 2 hour wait. Spare ribs were dry and the membrane was still on the ribs, it was just BAH. Next time just order from EL Pasha again.

Delivery times of a nice 2-3 hours, food was received several times lukewarm/cold food, you also find hair in your food and to top it off they also lie about the reason for the late food

I am a customer who orders here very often. But the last 2 times the food left much to be desired. Hard and burnt meat, very spicy potatoes and tasteless salad. Sorry but I won't be ordering again. Disappointing.

This was always our go to shop...but they have been taken over about a year ago and since then the food has been too inconsistent. Sometimes it's as good as usual and other times it's simply impossible to chew. Or they literally forget half of it. So no, I like to get quality and not everything tastes the same. Unfortunately, Italy has become a closed door for me.

Normally the (pork) spareribs here are delicious, but now you can only order veal spareribs... OK, we thought, let's try it. Well once and never again. I don't think the membrane had been removed and was still there, which was really not nice. Furthermore, they were very greasy and not fried well. The potato slices that came with it were limp and without herbs. Delivery time was also over 2 hours. Shame!! Unfortunately I won't be ordering here anymore.

There's always something...too bad! What happened to this restaurant???!! And for the second time in a row; the pizzas were partly burnt! And rock hard. I'm not calling anymore, can you wait another hour? Hence now a review. It happens too often! This was therefore the last time we ordered from Italia.

Unfortunately I didn't read any reviews in advance, what a disaster this was. Cold pizzas, cold bread and cold potato slices. Ordered a pizza without mushrooms, it was completely full of mushrooms. Everything straight into the container. It used to be a great place with delicious food, but there is nothing left of it.

I ate spare ribs here this week, you won't get that taste anywhere in Hoogezand and the surrounding area. I was served very friendly and everything was delicious, I really enjoyed it.

I ordered online with PIN AT THE DOOR as payment method. When the delivery person came to the door he told me it was not possible. It can happen of course, but it is stated on the site. It was eventually resolved, but I thought about calling to say that it was mentioned so that it could be prevented, with the answer from the lady on the phone: I have been working here for four years and have never seen it mentioned. Well, here it really is! My compliments to the delivery person for his understanding and patience!

We ordered food and it was supposed to be delivered at 5:00 PM, but unfortunately it turned out to be 6:15 PM. The food was cold and the meat had a terrible frozen taste. Called immediately and new ones would be delivered immediately. It was immediately over an hour later and unfortunately the meat again had a huge frozen taste or was spoiled. Our container was happy with it and we were €50.00 lighter and still no food. I will of course never order anything from here again and would certainly not recommend it to anyone else!

All good things come to an end. Italia was always number 1 in Hoogezand, but has now been relegated to the Kitchen Champion Division..... I order 2 doner kapsalon for the children and then receive pieces of dry chicken cubes. The food is cold, the potatoes are limp, and can first go back into the oven. What a sadness.... We have all agreed that we will not order from here again. Considering the reviews lately, I should have known better. I can only imagine that this is not the work of the first owner...

Het eten was veel. Vooral meer dan genoeg. Spareribs lekker gekruid. Kindermenu met frikandel zou voor mij als volwassene voldoende zijn. Binnen afgesproken tijd geleverd.

Pizza's laten bezorgen, supersnel, ook heel makkelijk via internet, top geregeld. Omdat onze "eigen" pizzeria vakantie had, hebben we hier voor het eerst besteld. Tjonge wat een heerlijke pizza's, verse ingrediënten, ruim belegd en wat heel fijn is, niet te zout, gewoon in een woord perfect. Gaan zeker weer bestellen.

Voorheen was ik altijd erg tevreden over Italia, zowel de snelle levering als het eten. Helaas is dit de laatste maanden erg achteruit gegaan.. je moet vaak nabellen, eten komt niet meer super warm aan, de Döner van de kapsalon was vrijwel verbrand en is geen saus meegeleverd. Ik hoop dat jullie weer terug komen waar jullie begonnen betreft het eten en de service. Voorheen waren jullie altijd mijn eerste keus, maar nu niet meer jammer genoeg..

Heerlijke spareribs!!! Vanmiddag gehaald..helaas had men de knoflook saus vergeten ..maar zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en trouwens de pizza die ik al eens haalde was ook heerlijk....Vandaag 30 juli spareribs gehaald..weer overheerlijk..complimenten voor de koks en hun vriendelijkheid top!!!

Wat een FANTASTISCHE plek! De heren in de keuken maken met liefde alle gerechten op sterrenniveau klaar. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Voor afhaal of bezorgen en zelfs ter plekke eten is een mogelijkheid. Ben je hoogezand breng dan zeker hier een bezoekje.

Helaas ben ik niet meer tevreden. Naast het feit dat wij meerdere keren (zeker 4x) slappe patat hebben ontvangen, is het ook erg vervelend dat ik bij werkelijk elke bestelling moet nabellen. Dit omdat er standaard iets mist, of iets niet goed is. Ik ben echt geen zeur en zal niet snel een ontevreden review schrijven. De shoarma is lekker, en daarom bestelde ik vaak weer opnieuw. Hierom ook de 2e ster. Daarnaast vind ik het leuk dat het een jong bedrijf is! Maar na zo’n 5x vriendelijk kritiek te geven, en merken dat er niks veranderd, ben ik er even klaar mee… Bezorgers wel altijd vriendelijk, en heus een leuke sfeer in de zaak

We gaan vaak heen voor de spareribs. Deze zijn lekker mals.

We hebben ooit eens spareribs hier gehaald maar vonden we allemaal niet lekker. Maar wat wij begrepen zit er een nieuwe eigenaar op en toch geprobeerd super lekker. Echt complimenten. We jammer dat de bestelling niet goed ging kregen een t bonen steak inplaats van de spareribs. Maar werden vrij vlot erna nog bezorgt. We moesten de t bonen steak weer mee terug geven mijn man had zo een honger had er wel wat van gegeten en zelfs die was super lekker. (Sorry voor het er van eten) maar ook hier voor complimenten.
