Poké Perfect in De Weteringschans

We had an excellent meal here. It was a little spendy, but it turned out to be worth every euro. The girls working were super nice and provided us with some very fresh and tasty meals. The tempura shrimp we ordered on the side were perfectly prepared. We will visit again when we return. If you like poke, I highly recommend!

Food is just ok, the portion is massive for the Large size. The chicken tasted really strange and marinated in some sauce. Also didn’t expect the broccoli rice (extra 1 euro charge) to be raw so that was a bit hard to eat. Tried the save the bit I couldn’t finish for the next day but it smelled off the next day so I had to toss it.

Good portion sizes, but way too much sugar, with no notice. Ordered the terryaki chicken salad. I thought I ordered lunch but it was really more like desert it had so much sugar in it, and it didn't say it was a sweet sauce. I was trying to get something healthy as I have gut problems. If you're trying to get something healthy best to ask for no sauces, or go somewhere else.

I'm leaving 5 stars specifically in the context of being a poke lover. No one does it like Poké Perfect! It is pricey but as far as Amsterdam prices go, I never leave disappointed and I always am so full after my poke bowls (and I always leave the bowl empty). The service is fast, everything is fresh and tasty, really I have no complaints. If you love poke, you will enjoy this place!

I’m a poke bowl lover and this place did not disappoint! Lovely flavours, fresh ingredients, and a great price. The server was friendly and made adjustments to our bowls based on preferences.

Honestly, I wonder what happened because this is my worst lunch experience in Amsterdam so far. It’s always been good with them until this time. I ordered via Ubereats and can’t be more disappointed. At least 50% ingredients didn’t march with what I ordered and NOTHING IS FRESH. I finished only half of it and wouldn’t be surprised if I end up spending my evening in the toilet.

The food is not bad, but it feels like the priority is delivery. You walk in and the staff is focused on prepping delivery orders and you are encouraged to order from a screen rather than directly with a person. Especially for poke I don't find that very nice - I wanna see the ingredients. This also just makes the overall atmosphere at the restaurant unwelcoming. The fact that mango, seaweed salad and avocado are considered "extra toppings" (costing 1 EUR more each) also feels mercenary.

Very tasty food and speedy service

Very tasty bowls. You can order at the counter or at the kiosks. Sauces were easy to sample. A bit overpriced, but the ingredients, quality, and taste were excellent. Special requests were no problem either. We were lucky; it was still empty when we arrived. Later, it filled up considerably, and then it became very crowded, cramped, and loud. But of course, that didn't detract from the taste.

I ordered a bowl with ClassPass today. Nobody looked at me or spoke to me, and I had to wait 25 minutes before those arrogant women could help me. Isn't a ClassPass order good enough? Then don't bother! I'll just pay for it. The poke bowl still tastes good. A large one with 3 (undercooked) shrimp.

As the name suggests, it's perfect. The quality-quantity/price ratio is excellent. The portions are huge for reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly, and restrooms are available in the basement via a small staircase. The establishment is quite small; when it's busy, it's possible that all the seats inside will be taken.

The food is good but is very expensive

This place definitely lives up to its name, especially this one! Everything is perfect! The quality-price-quantity ratio is incredible! The trick is being able to eat in and take away your plate if you're not finished. You can create your own meal. The staff is friendly and cheerful. The restaurant is clean, as are the small restrooms. It was my first time eating poke. There are no cutlery, but that didn't bother me; I learned to eat with chopsticks as the meal progressed. The decor adds charm, as does the background music. A very good experience; I went there twice during my tourist trip because it was so good!

After a long time, I got a poke bowl from Poke Perfect on Prinsengracht again. The poke bowls were always super fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The quality has deteriorated significantly. The crispy chicken was very dry, and even though I had a large poke bowl, the portion was very small. For 23 euros! You expect a lot. The bowl was half full. The sauce was missing, and there was no soy sauce either, making it very dry. Thankfully, the brownie made up for a lot, but unfortunately, the quality of the poke bowls has deteriorated significantly. No more Poke Perfect for me...

A Monday around 2 p.m. Friendly staff, it's small but good and plentiful.

The atmosphere is refined, you can order with tokens, and the variety of ingredients is excellent. I recommend it.

Ordered for pickup and my bowls were done perfectly on time. They were tasty and filled well. Staff is friendly and efficient as far as I can tell from my quick interaction. I’d love to see more vegan protein options in the future. I ordered one of the bowls with a base of salad, and unfortunately some salad leaves were already wilted and brown. Point for improvement ~

The place is hot and the personal is so slow. We waited half an hour to have 4 pokes. Sorry🤷

Fresh ingredients, quick service and filling portions. This is a great idea if you want to get your fill of protein and veggies and have had enough of all the fried foods served throughout Amsterdam. Worth a visit.

Authentic Hawaiian inspired food

we didn't understand the menu and accidentally ordered something with onions, and I don't eat onions. But the girl changed the dish for us and also helped us choose a sauce so that it wasn't spicy. Very good service ❤️

The staff were more focused on chatting with each other than paying attention to the orders. They even forgot to add one of the ingredients to the bowl. On top of that, no cutlery was provided — which is a basic expectation for this kind of service. I had to go and ask for it myself.

Really nice place for some lunch, decently priced. Nothing too exciting but may be what I chose to order. Would definitely recommend.

Great little healthy eating spot by the canal

This place is really great! The food is super fresh and is prepared quickly! If you're looking for a break from fries and mayo, come here! I got the pre-created tuna bowl and added chicken and ponzo sauce. The other bowl is a create your own. There's so many options!

Fancy a “clean” healthy poké bowl? Perfect place for one here! Sitting on a nice corner building on Prisengracht canal this is one of 2 in central Amsterdam whilst there’s 3 more in the surrounding areas. Food on multiple visits has been very impressive. Ingredients are fresh. Served in regular bowl I’ve a few times made it last by taking the uneaten remainder away. Reason for the four star review is the prices, although one pays for quality & freshness. Mind you even my first visit to Amsterdam 35yrs ago I came away thinking how expensive things are in this medieval port. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming and happy to help.

Food was so good! You can put together one yourself according to your taste or just order from the menu. Price for the portion is totally fair! We just didn't find it that nice to sit in the store; everything was quite loud, cramped and there weren't many places to sit. Still big recommendation ⭐️

I ordered the protein bowl with chicken, and it was SO spicy, I mean really too much, and there is no single word about it in the name. Please fix it, it was kind of tasty, but flaming hot mouth is not making it better

I tried the shrimp bowl, it was good. Those who want to eat healthy can choose it.

Picked up here about 5 times and the first two times the pokebowl was top notch. Last week I got a pokebowl with pineapple and red cabbage instead of corn and pickled onions. And today a pokebowl without the sriracha mayo and with wet rice? A waste of money and walking through the rain.

Ordered sushi sandwhich, everything worst choice ever. Wasn't edible. Not recommended.

Simply put, rather nice place. Central location, pretty restaurant, yummy food. The service people were a tiny bit stiff but nothing to hold against them. Good place, recommended for sure.

Tried these sushi burger/rice waffle parts for the first time. They were very tasty but quite a mess. Not suitable for eating on the go

Delicious Poke at normal prices, quality products and raw materials with excellent preparation and service, very careful also with packaging as everything is recyclable!! The only downside is the low tables and limited space, but on a nice day you can happily eat on the canal side

Came here for a healthy option for lunch and really enjoyed! Ordered the regular bowl which was huge!!! Love how it’s also served in ceramic bowls, so less single use plastic. Will be back!

Went here yesterday for a more healthy dinner option, which can be hard to find in the area. Ordered a ‘regular’ bowl which was actually very generously sized. The staff was very friendly and helpful in helping me choose the perfect bowl. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and nutritious meal.

We went for dinner and it was amazing ! Very friendly and kind staff & huge bowls ! Would absolutely recommend to take regular size cause it's already very big :)) We had the special protein bowls one with tofu the right one with chicken.

I ordered a poke made by me, regular size. The portion is large for the smallest size. The products were fresh and very delicious, the salmon especially, delicious. I also added sweet potato but it wasn't fully cooked, my mistake maybe it's added like that to the poke. The place is small, I decided to order takeout and eat it on the canal in the sun. I recommend.

Tasty vegetarian/vegan bowls. The regular size is enough and filling. You can create your own bowl or pick from a short selection.

“Broccoli rice” means just chopped broccoli, there’s no rice. Edit: I’ve updated my review because it’s definitely a good place. I just hope they will update the naming. If something is called rice, it should be made out of rice.

I had a lot of difficulty ordering via the order screen in the store. Very unclear and directing to order as much as possible. The employee didn't understand much of it either. After the final amount on the screen was incorrect, the employee did not know why, I placed my order at the counter. My order cost €11.90, which I paid with my phone, but when I took my phone off the payment console I saw that the amount was much higher, €30.75. Because it was busy I had to wait until the main employee had time to help me.  He told me he couldn't refund or refund my money at that time.  I find it quite difficult not to be able to achieve this as a company.  Mistakes can be made, but they must also be corrected immediately. He also didn't know how to arrange for me to get my money back. Took a photo of the receipt and later emailed it to the company. They would refund the excess amount paid. They did it, only €3 too little. Not a very smoothly running company. I'm not coming anymore.

I was excited to try this place out based off of all the great reviews. However, I was disappointed by the lack of quality ingredients in my bowl. The avocado was hard and unripe, the rice was hard and tasted old despite it not being close to closing time. The proportions were very strange, with little meat and tons of green onions. I expected more for a €15 bowl.

Super easy to order via the kiosk. The food was very tasty and everything tasted very fresh! Definitely recommended if you like poke bowls.

There is no one in the store (everyone is chatting downstairs) so you have to wait a very long time and it has become very expensive

My partner and I had been super huge fans of Poke Perfect since about 2019. I would always like to get the Spicy Tuna and he would get Shrimply The Best, which is what we got last night. However, the place and food is not like it used to be before. First of all, the two ladies working there last night seemed to be overwhelmed with the number of orders they were getting, the place seeming very understaffed. We made an order through the self-ordering machine and it took at least 20 mins to have our order looked at. They were prioritizing takeaway and pick up orders most of all, and then orders made at the till. Delivery drivers would arrive and their order would get made on the spot. We also had people arrive after us and get their food before us. I (and other people) had to go to the counter and ask about the order number, whether they were going to make it eventually? What is the point in having self-ordering machines if the orders just sit there, not being looked at? Secondly, the food (which used to be great) made us both sick - me, especially, having thrown up twice since. With the amount of orders they get, they rush to make the poke and the ingredients do not feel as fresh. Additionally, the food feels very heavy and the extra Kewpie mayo I got tasted very sour (not in the good way, in the "it's been warm for too long" way. I feel sorry for the two girls working there last night, as they seemed very stressed and unable to cope, and for the quality of the food, as I used to be a huge fan.

On site or to take away, the pokebowls are carefully prepared by very friendly staff. The room is small but pleasant with a top playlist.

Je kan je eten bestellen via een online scherm, zeer handig, hierdoor heb je genoeg tijd om na te denken wat je wilt bestellen. De werknemers waren vriendelijk. Het eten was lekker. Portie is wat aan de grote kant.
